The ladies there are fabulous! Under new management and much cleaner than the past! They are quick and pay attention to detail!

I love this place. They do great pedicures and manicures. I got my nails done on September 1st (a full set and pedicure). I love my set but I have one complaint. My pinky nail looks lifted up (not falling off) but angled upwards and it looks weird. The set is great other than that and my pedicure is great aswell.

They can be very friendly. However I have gone to this location 3 times. My first experience- I set a 4 o’clock appointment and was not taken until 6 o’clock. Multiple people had come in after me and they were taken before me who I personally heard say they had 4:30 and 5:00 appointments. They finally took me and gave me a $5 discount. I understand businesses make mistakes and as I said the service is friendly so I gave them a second chance and got a acrylic fill. The man took me instantly as he remembered the last time I did not have a great experience. My third visit once again I was taken late. I made a 1:30 appointment. A woman came 15 minutes after me who had a 2 o’clock appointment and said to the man she has work and does not have time to wait. They took her for her pedicure and then took me around 2:10. Do not go here if you need a prompt appointment. Go here if you have time to wait and would like to make a meaning less appointment with a bit of friendliness on the side.

I came here today and had one of the best experiences from when I walked in to when I left. The male owner is so sweet and definitely loves to get to know you and the woman workers are so sweet and love to chat and get to know you too. I love this place and will never return to another nail salon unless I move out of Rhode island. They did a wonderful job on my nails also and when I ruined my nails they were so helpful to fix them. Great place and great workers!

I dont get many manicures being a man. However I like to keep my hands looking good. When thats the case I go to Magic Nails. Only spot you need. Every other visit grab a pedi. And while the clear coat drys, catch a chair massage 10 minutes for $12. Well wort it!!!

Best place in North Providence

I had been looking for a nail tech with consistency, patience and can do a lot of hand eye techniques. I finally came to magic nails and came across Lily who goes above and beyond to please her clients. Super sweet and takes her TIME. She is very attentive and will do basically anything you show her via picture or does really good free hand art. I’ve tried other locations in the providence area but so far she has been the best one yet! I suggest you go see her if you’re looking for patience when it comes to executing a specific design you’re asking for. P.s. she does an AWESOME pedicure! Great, timely massages.

I am not one to leave reviews, in fact this is my first review ever. But Magic Nails warrants this negative review after my experience with them moments ago. After my primary nail place closed, I was desperate to get my acrylics off and had no where to go. I stumbled upon this place and really wish I hadn’t. I called before walking in and they gave me a price of $17 to take my acrylics off and get some fresh regular paint. I was in! Great price I thought. However, before my nails were painted I was checked out for $24. I asked why the price had changed from on the phone to which they replied “because you got cuticles”. Not even sure what that means and I didn’t ask for anything else other than just paint and taking the acrylics off. But I said hey whatever, they obviously did something else so I would pay for it I guess. I then separately gave the woman an over 20% tip. Little did I know that I should have waited until she did the paint.When I tell you she started painting my nails it was honestly like a preschooler did. And I hate to say that because she was actually very nice, but it was horrible. She asked me how it was and I said softly, well it kind of looks discolored. She said she would do another coat to fix it. When she told me to go dry them, I was hoping they would turn out better after they were dried. I was SO wrong. Please check pictures. There are lines, creases, and bubbles in it. Honestly I could have done a better paint job with dollar store nail polish.I was visibly upset and quietly asked the manager for my money for the paint back. I said she could keep her tip and you could still charge me for the removal of the acrylics, but the paint was very bad and I wanted my money back. They gave me a hard time and the two girls in the back was waving me off and laughing.Never come here seriously please do not come here!

Best pedi Ive found around. Place is very clean. Switch covid theyre taking temps at the door. It was awhile coming got all the dead skin off my feetsies clean scrubbed cuticles gone couldnt be happier :) highly recommendedUPDATE: HAD WORST MANI IVE EVER GOTTEN HERE WILL NOT GO BACK.

I went to this place with a good friend of mine and this was my first time there. They are doing a little remodel which is coming out reallynicely and the woman that did my pedicure or so nice and she really got my feet back to where they should look. They were horrible I hadnt done it in quite a while so I would definitely go back to this place

I had just read another review here by someone who had a very similar experience!I like going to Magic Nails because it’s close to my home and in a good location. And they do a great job on my nails! I usually get my nails done once a month. Each time that I go to Magic Nails, they greet me by name, so they know me. I always request that my nails be done the same every time, just a full acrylic set with white tips, then a top coat. I NEVER go in for anything else. I literally get my nails done the same, every time. However, recently for the past two months - the nails have been the same -- but the price is different every time!It seems to be getting more expensive each time that I go. Or theyre stealing a few dollars here and there from me. I also want to add that I always purchase using a debit card.. so they are now always sneakily overcharging me! Now that I’ve had this issue more than once, I will no longer be a customer at Magic Nails. Gina, the owner -- and her staff could also take a few lessons in customer service. Gina is not very friendly and doesnt want to fix any issues. Even after requesting to talk with Gina, she will pass you off to a nail technician.. Id prefer talking to the owner. Now you have an issue with a 5 YEAR CUSTOMER who is now an EX-5 year customer. To be honest, none of the nail technicians are friendly or welcoming. I’ll be looking for a new nail salon that I can be comfortable at. Been going here for well over 5 years but no more! I can deal with A HORRIBLE OWNER.. but with the ever changing prices, I get the feeling that Magic Nails is stealing from me and I am sick of it! Gina doesnt care about her customers. Youd think since she knows me by name, that she would be helpful? Nope! I feel bad for anyone who goes here.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!Poor quality nails, don’t know what they are doing. Don’t recommend this place what so ever! Rude staff and not friendly, awful service and the cleanliness of the place could be better!Tried to get acrylics here and they were gonna charge me 50$ for dip. The minute she started it was awful she didn’t measure the correct size and the quality of the nail was awful, paying so much money for a cheap plastic nail. Spend your money elsewhere.

I never get my nails done anymore. But I just wanted a pick me up, a set of gel polish on my original nail. I have been to Magic Nails numerous times before in the past, but when I arrived I had learned that the owners changed. I was seen by the new owner, I told him I wanted just gel polish on my nails. He said okay. I said I wanted my nails to be shaped to a square look. He said okay. But then he started using the powder and the dip stuff to add a fake top on my nail and I was confused and thought maybe this was new since I haven’t been in awhile. That wasn’t the case at all, yes my nails looked nice for a day or two but the extra stuff he put on to make my nail look better it started to break. It looked bad and then I couldn’t even get the top coat stuff off. My nails are completely trashed now. I can’t grow them now and they are ruined, and keep breaking. I will never go back ever again now.

Been to many salons around the world, this one is my favorite. Very friendly staff and detailed work. My nails always last a long time and look beautiful.

The spa pedi is great, but one lady likes to skimp and not do tors properly. I may look elsewhere.

Went there for a pedi...horrible. I was rushed and the tech left my nails crooked when she filed them. And after polishing them..I had to tell her to wipe off excess polish that she left all over my toes. So much for a relaxing treat. Now I remember why I never went back. Its always rush rush rush.

Great place to get ur nails done. My nails always come out really nice and the cost is inexpensive. Other places I have been do a sloppy job and they r way too over priced! I really recommend going here.

An owner unwilling to fix an issue with a customer, should not be an owner at all! Below I wrote my experience at Magic Nails in North Providence!Magic Nails has no consistency whatsoever! I will not go here again. I used to like going to Magic Nails .. up until their prices and customer service changed. I have been to Magic Nails four times before today and each time that I have gone, I get the same thing done. Acrylics with a $5 Topcoat that keeps the Nails shine. However they charge me a different price everytime! It seems like the price is always going up. The first time it was $32, then $32 again, then $34, and the fourth time it was $37. I thought ‘okay maybe it was the different nail techs that I was going to..’ Today it was clear to me that’s not the case. I went there to give them one last chance, my fifth time there - to see if they would do well and make it up to me. Unsurprisingly no, they were very unhelpful and my nails came out horrible. Ontop of that they charged me $45 today! When I got the same thing done that I always do. It’s one thing if I pay $45 and the nails come out looking great, but today I paid $45 and they were horrible. My nails are covered in bubbles, bubbles even on top of the french-manicure part of a nail, and also I left with chunks of acrylic stick under the tip of my nail. This is ridiculous.After noticing these bubbles and the different pricing, I went back inside Magic Nails and requested to speak with the owner (Gina), Gina just passed me off to the nail tech that did my nails.. I asked her why did she charge me $45 as I always pay $37 the most for my nails.. $32 for Frenchtip acrylics and $5 for the shiney-topcoat. They even have a sign with the prices stating that what I had gotten is $32. She said no it is $45 because of the French acrylics. Basically we went back and forth and she left it at that. She told me no, it is always $45 and that I was wrong. So I asked her if she would be willing to fix them. She also said no .. I asked her to take off the nails and to please refund me, I was denied and left. I also was denied of the $3 tip that I gave them. I tipped due to their work and taking time out of their day to do my nails, however because of them I will never tip or pay another nail technician again until I see the receipt. Magic Nails are stealing from me every time that I go in there.. It’s ridiculous that I am paying a different price every time. This was the fifth time that I left unhappy from Magic Nails and they said that there was nothing they could do. So, now they lost my business and I am here writing this review to warn other Magic Nail goers.What owner doesn’t want to fix a situation? What owner doesn’t want their client to leave happy? What owner passes off a complaint to the lower staff? Today was their last chance to redeem themselves and they did the exact opposite. I’ve been there multiple times before today and I have not complained once. Gina and the staff at Magic Nails need to have some courtesy for their customers and fix their wrongdoings. They need a big lesson in customer service! As I said before, an owner unwilling to fix an issue with a customer, should not be an owner at all! I will never go to Magic Nails in North Providence again and I suggest you never do either.

Made an appointment and was waiting for 30 minutes past it before just leaving. Not good service when you take walk ins right as your appointment is arriving. Defeats the purpose of an appointment.
