I had been coloring my hair at home with box dye (I know 😷) since quarantine and hadn’t had a cut in probably 2 years. Booked an appointment with Amanda and this picture does NOT do my hair justice. Not only was she able to get rid of my at least 4 inch block of root growth, but the colors I once had added in lifted so well and there are so many gorgeous shades of blonde on my head now! Will 100% be back again!

My daughter and I had waxing done. lily was the best ... she made both of us feel comfortable. Plus she does an incredible job ! I actually had fun chatting with her and she does the service very quickly and with high quality ... we only go to luminous for their waxing services because they always exceed expectations and lily also exceeded our expectations ‼️

The hair stylist fried my hair while bleaching, I have strands of hair that are much shorter than the rest. Asked for layers but it looks like my hair is all the same length w/no layers added, and my hair won’t stop falling out. No products were used when straightening or blow drying my hair??? My curls don’t curl anymore since they were burned straight... also she straightened my hair before and after like what? Paid so much and didn’t get close to what I wanted. Literally want to cry

They are not over priced and ive always been happy with my service. Moss salon and john bacon may advertise themselves as a highend salon but just their prices are highend. Luminous actually does way better coloring for a reasonable price. Ask for Amanda!

I’m new to this salon and see Jennifer for my lash extensions every 2 weeks. She’s wonderful! She does a great job and always makes sure I’m happy with my lashes before I leave! The girl at the front desk (not sure of her name) is super sweet and perky and remembers me every time! I’m always greeted with a smile! The owner was at the desk one of the times I went in and she took the time to ask me a few questions to make sure I was happy with my lash services! Overall, I’ve been very happy with this spa and the service there! Also, coming from Boston, I was used to paying a lot more for my lash extensions. The prices here are VERY reasonable! I would definitely recommend Luminous and Jennifer for lash extensions!

Perfect location for a day of pampering with friends. The owner, Debbie, was exceptionally responsive and accommodating with scheduling several appointments at the same time and with giving us space to relax between services. Also the facials are outstanding and are under $100!

It is a lovely and lively space with GREAT hair styling, as well as a fun atmosphere and good coffee as a nice perk. Saras been cutting my hair for 3 years anywhere from pixie cut to super long and some highlighting, too. Being able to schedule online is really nice, too. Great salon and better pricing than many other nice salons around the east side.

Very good place. The front desk always polite and helpful, and Sharon cuts a mans hair better than anyone I have ever gone to for my hair cut.Great place overall!

I was unknown of waxing untill a coworker told my about luminous salon i have now been going for a year and i feel so welcomed and invited and not judged like other places if you get a wax done i recommend Mikaela she is my go to girl.

Ladies and gentleman! This Salon&Spa is amazing.I went in right after work and I was a little nervous and tense because I hadn’t trimmed my hair in like, 3 years on top of mistreating it lol. Scary! I went in and was greeted with the friendliest of smiles by this sweet gorgeous young woman, who asked me to fill out a little sheet and offered me coffee and tea!! I loved that☺️🔥 I felt so at home and so relaxed already. Then I met Rick! He loosened my tense shoulders, made me feel comfortable with good conversation and laughter. It was also sweet because he really cares about his job and knows what he’s talking about. He has his own tips and tricks and helps out his coworkers by showing them as well (spreading his knowledge) without being condescending. I loved everyone’s vibe there. All welcoming warm people :)! My hair cut felt AMAZING and I love it so much! Especially the style to it, it’s amazing.

I have incredibly complicated hair as I rarely get it cut and its salt and pepper. Sarah really took my opinion and made my hair look the best its looked in years. Great salon with a fun atmosphere!

Used to be my favorite salon. Plenty of senior stylists if you can pay in their range. I was not treated kindly by a new stylist that did not want to take the time to cut my curly hair correctly. Wore bobby pins for 3 months & counting. Owner would not refund. Not right for a salon of its caliber.

Layed back atmosphere with highly trained stylists. Ive worked here for over 11 years. Best of all, fabulous clientele! Xo

Very friendly staff! I scheduled a same day brazilian wax with Maria and she was amazing. Easily the most painless wax I have received. I am very pleased with the salon and will continue to go to Luminous!

I recently went to Luminous for a partial foil and haircut. My colorists name was Courtney and she did an AMAZING job with my color and cut. Shes the best!

Im torn here, the hair cut I got from Jacquie K, was good, very good but the salon uses false advertising to capture its pray. They have several signs, one says Mens Haircut, $25.00, another says Walk in Special, $10 off of Mens haircut, So I walked in expecting to pay no more than, $25, but when I want to pay I was told it was $40, $40 Dollars for a Hair cut that took no more that 30 minutes to do, no cleaning up of the ears or eyebrows, I mean come on!,thats Twice what I pay everywhere else. So no Im not a fan, I detest shady operators! Stay away from this place!

Do not do a wedding without getting your wedding party to Luminous! Debbie set up a lovely continental breakfast and we spent the morning of the wedding getting gorgeous updos, manis and pedis with her talented stylists. It was truly a highlight of our wedding weekend in Providence. Thanks to everyone!

I think this place is ok, I dont feel they treat their staff as well as I would like.

I found this place when I moved to Providence and I have been going every since. They do amazing color as well as waxing and haircuts.

I really loved my hair color and cut, I always get complimented.
