Creative Circle has a really helpful and friendly team. They have made me feel comfortable enough to express myself and discuss my work and employment goals. They customized my employment interest so I only receive notifications about jobs that closely relate to my skill sets.Its encouraging to know that new opportunities will be in my inbox every week. They have even reached out the next day after I have showed interest in an opportunity.I have experienced one job opportunity so far. The job was right in my wheel house. Which is a challenge to find as an illustrator in Portland, Oregon.

I recently was laid off from a communications agency in Portland and reached out to many creative placement agencies looking for contract/freelance work. I found most agencies over-promised and under-delivered.The people at Creative Circle moved quickly and efficiently in reviewing my resume, conducting an interview and placing me in a contract role with a local health care organization. I was very impressed with Creative Circle, as they offer benefits, W-2 vs. worrying about taxes and checked in to make sure all was good.After finishing my contract I have been in touch several times with the agency working on my next assignment. Big shout out to Julia and Emily for doing their best to make sure I am made aware of current assignments. They also offer direct deposit and pay once a week.

#1 this is an organizational review of Creative Circle...NOT a talent review of the people they send out.As a customer, we engaged them with 3 of our divisions....for more than a year.The talent we received was good.However Creative Circle itself lacks in simple basic doing business skills. Especially in billing department.As I mentioned before, we engaged with them for well over a year. In that time we paid every invoice....or so we thought. Then BAM!!! Out of the blue we get thousands of dollars in invoices spread out amongst our different business units/divisions for work that was done anywhere from 5-15 months ago....and threats to escalate the situation if we did not pay right away.When I asked about the delay and explained these were surprises....I was told that their new automated invoicing system often times get caught by companies firewalls and that we needed to fix our firewall settings...Hmmm....so let me get this straight, you Creative Circle change your billing process to an automated process...which as it turns out gets rejected by most firewalls...and Me (Your customer) is the one that needs to change my IT infrastructure!?!?!?You lost at least one customer right there with that line of thinking and communicationSo if you are reading this review and are looking for creative services in Portland or Seattle or Spokane....trust me there are at least 15 other agencies like this that I would gladly refer you to before ever referring you to Creative Circle. Just reach out to me and I will share a list.....and whats even better is many of the talented designers represented at Creative Circle are also represented at the other agencies as well...meaning you can avoid having to deal with Creative Circles clear lack of Customer Service skills.

Would not recommend PDX talent to work through Creative Circle. They need to learn tact.

If I could give negative stars I would. This company is disrespectful to the talent and they grossly underpay. Dont waste your time, dont trust them, they dont care about you.

I feel strongly that age discrimination is something they could very well participate in. Good luck to anyone who is over 45.
