I’ve rented from them for about a year and a half, leaving the state so thought I’d leave a review on my experience ! They were quick with repairs and professional and respectful when coming to the house for maintenance. My house filled with smoke on a Sunday and they answered the phone told me what to do and had someone out to fix it same day. I had a water leak in the bathroom, fixed same day! The house was a little dirty when I moved in and the nicotine stains started to come through after a month from previous renters, but I was in a rush to get in so that may have been me just rushing the process, I saw what the previous renters did to the place so I absolutely understood and it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. Overall great experience and would rent again if I ever came back.

Crooks and lazy people who refuse to fix damages. The inside pictures are from the ac unit which they refused to service and fix mold was growing underneath the carpet. The downstairs pictures show mold and busted pipes which they refuse to fix. Reported the issues multiple times and still nothing was done. Took it to the city and was told to move due to all the damanages caused. Keep in mind all this was from the February snow storm. Also Sarah Philips is highy rude and highly disrespectful and will look for any reason to kick you out of your property. They will also nail you with over $80,000 in move out fees. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Nice neighborhood that I would frequent to visit friends. Neighbors were a bit introverted, but still a peaceful environment.

So far my experience with nice has been professional and plesent.

They are a good company they have some apartments there are available, but the ones that they do have available they are expensive. They are not on the bus line.

I was approved for the rental property I applied for, then was told I had to pay a double deposit without an explanation. Cody, the manager I was dealing with, wanted me to pay up front before I even saw the inside of the property and there was also someone still living there. Cody also claimed there was another applicant, still trying to get me to give them money upfront. I even offered to pay the deposit and three months rent upfront and she, meaning Cody, was still not satisfied with my offer! PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, THESE PEOPLE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR DIVERSITY SKILLS!

I relocated to Mineral Wells from San Diego California I had never been to Mineral Wells. I was referred to Nix Rental homes by a friend. I got on their site and quickly found a duplex that I wanted. The process was quick and easy and I was able to move in right away.That was in October and I am so very pleased with my decision whenever I put in a maintenance request its addressed the very same day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.I would recommend Nix to anyone, they definitely live up to their reputation.

I put in a maintenance request the night before and the very next morning the issue was resolved. I have summit-ed many request in the past and they have all been filled within 24 hrs. Its about time i said THANK YOU to the maintenance man!

Raccoon fell out of the ceiling because they refuse to fix roof leak/rodent problem. Mice and rats galore. They suck

Ive rented from many places but Nix is probably one of the best places to rent from in mineral wells. They have wonderful/friendly staff. They always great you with a smile. They take care of any issues you may have with your rental in a quick manner. They care about their properties. The staff helped me last minute find a house when I needed it and fast. With in two days from finding it I was living in it. I refer Nix to anyone thats looking for a rent house!!

Havent had them as landlords very long because they just bought the property i currently live in but i can say so far so good. Kelli has been really amazing at answering any questions weve had due to the changes and is making sure everything in our home is in good condition. Very happy with everything and recommend them to anyone looking to rent a place.

I highly recommend this company. When we first moved in there was concern on something and they IMMEDIATELY came out and took care of the issue. When our hot water heater went out, they again, came out IMMEDIATELY and replaced the tank. The workers they have sent out have been VERY professional and extremely nice. I have rented from Nix for 3 almost 4 years. They are good landlords. Always friendly when I call or have an issue and always fixing whatever needs to be fixed right away. Would recommend them if you are looking for a great landlord.

I rented from Nix for 3 years there office manager Sarah is very unprofessional and uncaring. The apt I rented from Nix I thought was going to be better place for me but instead was worst from where I was. Cockroaches were horrible and eventually we had bed bugs. The office sent maintenance to spray for the bugs and they were not a licensed exterminator. I still had the bugs even after the spray. I later learned we were not the only ones in the complex that had them and the whole complex was infested with them before. We were not notified there was a bed bug problem by the office. My furniture became infested and I had to throw all of it out. We ask the office for reimbursement for our loss but they sent a letter back from Sarah full of lies. I was very disappointed. I spent my own money buying spray and my brother sprayed. This was not my only problem living there but the tenant that lived above me did bad stuff and I reported to the office but they did not care. All this led me to find another place but definitely not with Nix Rental. I would not recommend them.

Ive rented with Nix for three (going on four) years now. They are great landlords. They are quick and helpful with maintenance requests.

Nix has been really good to us the last two months. When you need something they are quick to answer and send someone out quickly.

The only reason they have so many 5 star reviews is because when you rent from them they reward you ($50 off your rent or something like that) for reviewing them. Ive only looked at a handful of their rentals, but all of the ones that were cheap enough that I could afford were pretty bad. Smelly and/or had bugs. And to me the rent was really high for how bad of a house/apt you got. I also felt kind of lied to. My husband and I went in to see just one specific rental and paid the application fee for each of us and the woman who showed us the apt knew it was the only one we were interested in. We looked at a couple others but expressed that we didnt like them and that we were super interested in the one. The next day or so we found out that the apt we liked was already rented and it really seemed like it had already been almost definitely rented when we looked at it, but we were not told that and they got our application fee money for it. I also have a friend who rents from them who said they dont ever want to fix anything, even if its a health concern for her and her children, like old nasty carpet. I wouldnt rent from them unless I just really was super desperate and couldnt find anything else.

So far my experience with nix has been okay, they are pretty easy to work with as long as you get your rent paid on time and whatnot. Maintenance comes pretty quick after you submit a request as long as its not a weekend and they come regularly to service your a/c, every month.

Definitely will not be dealing with them or their rent homes in the future.
