Came into Northwest Barber Association the day before my best friends wedding met the owner Cody and he set me up with some drinks then went on to get my haircut by Kyle Graf and he absolutely killed it I didn’t know what I wanted and he showed me some stuff and helped me out haircut fade with zero lines! and a straight razor to finish. It was absolutely amazing! 10/10 would recommend anyone come into this shop best prices and quality I have found here in Portland. Thanks Kyle and Cody I’ll be back!

Loved this spot! They offered me a drink right when I walked in and made me feel right at home. The amazing artwork throughout the shop helped. I wasnt expecting a hair wash but they insisted so... of course. It was so relaxing and it was not a bad feeling to have their hands massaging into my scalp. I didnt quite know what I wanted but they gassed me up and made me feel beautiful. They gave me great face framing layers and told me how to to style it and everything. Excited to go back for the good talks and the good style.

I have been getting my hair cut by Breezy for years and its always a pleasure to come here, hang out, and get a cut. Fun, clean, professional shop, they always make sure I walk out feeling good about how I look and the pricing is very reasonable for the great level of service. Would recommend to anyone, but especially if you want a modern style with tight, clean lines.

Awesome interior, very clean/sanitary and great music. Definitely my new go to spot. Got a haircut with christine. She did an amazing job and was great about communicating with me about what she was thinking about doing to my hair.

Honestly had high hopes seeing that this place is 5 stars. My haircut was beyond rushed and it seemed like there was no attention to detail. The overall haircut was average at best and it lasted 15 minutes max. I then had to pay $40 for a haircut that seemed like my barber put no care into. Highly disappointed in my visit and how rushed I felt out of there. I was going to ask to get the front cleaned/edged up and he had already took off my robe. Never going here again.

I’ve been going to Brielle since I’ve moved here which was almost a year ago. She has always got me in last minute no matter the day or time. (I need to get my schedule figured out). She has MAD skills for all styles and brows. I always let her do whatever she wants because I know I’ll leave looking fresh AF. I get so many compliments from the hairstyles she gives me along with the line work and fades/Style. I 100% would recommend getting your hair done by Brielle as her customer service is top notch. She is very personable, sweet and kind hearted. Brielle is quick and efficient and has Mad skills. Brielle is the one who even did my wedding burst cut/color/ and line work. I have originally very dark Mexican/Asian brown hair and Brielle was able to bring it to the color that I wanted first time. (Very. Very. Whitish blonde.). If you are reading this to find yourself a barber 100% go to Brielle, her insta is (Steezbybreez) you can see how much talent she holds.

The best barber shop in town, hands down! Super chill environment, the staff is so polite and welcoming and you even get a freakin beer when you walk in the door. I have been following Cory Lee for years, spanning 5 locations. Now that he owns his own spot its good to know that I shouldnt have to drive to a new place any time soon. Fun space, conveniently located. The crew is awesome, top to bottom. A great place to get a hair cut, I always get all taken care of. Definitely worth checking out.

Booking is super easy online but Isaiah has always got me in when I needed. They seem to have a well oiled machine where everyone shows up on time and they are there ready to work. Shop is extremely clean, has music or the game. People have a sense of community there and know all the good food places. Isaiah has been cutting and dying my hair for 3 years and always has something fun and interesting to do (I am moderately easy going and just want something different usually) My partner went in yesterday to get a totally different hair cut that before and the person that helped him did a great job and took their time shaping his beard. I would say if you are looking to change up your look and also need beard trimming and maintenance this would be the place for you.

This is a great shop. It is new and clean. The people are creative and I couldnt imagine anything that they would not be able to do. The do a classic style with touches like shaving the back of the neck. I recommend this shop for family and friends. Parking and traffic can be tough.

I’ve been here twice and been amazed both times. I got my hair cut by Nate, he gave me the fastest skin fades I’ve ever had and they looked great.

Its a barber shop, but new, clean, and shiny. The staff are appropriately hip, and there is the expected options of soda, beer, or whiskey. Im very happy with the cut I got from Logan, and I know Ill be back.

Three friends of mine suggested I go to Nate specifically, and a few others suggested this shop. I wasn’t disappointed and even a few weeks later I’m still happy with my cut. I’ll definitely be returning for more business. It’s a great environment, and parking isn’t impossible in the area.

Have been going to Nate for years. This is by far my favorite shop he’s been at, great atmosphere, easy to get to, cheap parking, and free beer! You absolutely cannot go wrong with a cut from Nate, and most likely anyone else at this establishment. Always worth the trip

I go to Chris every time for my haircuts. Portland born and raised, I’ve been all over the place before, and Chris Morgan is awesome. Great guy to chat with, down to earth, easy going, and very talented with the way he cuts hair. Be sure to ask him about his special “fade in the back!” Where he makes my haircuts actually look better longer as it grows in.If you’re looking for a new barber, this guy is the real deal.

This place is awesome! I get my hair cut from Chris and not only is he talented as a barber but he’s also a super chill genuine guy. The venue itself is nice and well kept also! Recently went in for my first cut at this place and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. The shop is nice but not overdone, the staff was friendly, and it’s centrally located. I’m fairly particular about my hair and have been to several barber shops in the area- Throne, Cloak and Dagger, and Modern Man (before closure) and I can confidently say that Nate Easton, now with Northwest Barbers Association, is one of the best around. Would highly recommend.

Great shop, great conversation, and more importantly great people. I’ve been getting my ears lowered by Cory Lee ever since I moved to Portland, coming up on 5 years now. It’s always a struggle to find someone who can cut thick Asian hair, and Cory finally ended that for me. He asks the right questions to get to know you and will work work with you to get one of the freshes cuts you’ll ever had. We’re at the point where I trust him to freely do his thing.

Nate it the best. Long drive for me but worth it.

Best cut you can get in PDX...I’m here on a schedule like clockwork for a proper fade from the best. Isaiah has mad skills, and so does every other barber here. You wont be disappointed with a cut here. The shop is huge and you’ll always feel welcome.

Had heard good things, but honestly wasnt too impressed... Barber wasnt very friendly and haircut didnt turn out as good as other places in Portland (especially for $40).

It is outstanding that Cory Lee (formerly of Brick & Mortar and & The Modern Man) has found his own piece of the pie. This is a barbershop that cares about one thing only: giving great haircuts. Theres no ego here or aspirations to be the next Paul Mitchell or rockstar that just happens to cut hair on the side. Its a cadre of Portland veteran barbers that want to give great service. Their prices are reasonable to where a grown man doesnt question if hes at his wifes high-end salon or a barbershop to get a fade and straight razor shave. You will not be disappointed.However, plan an extra 5 minutes arrival due to the parking around here is trash.
