I really enjoyed my cut. But Ive got to give a small demerit because no one in the joint was wearing a mask

When questioned if anyone who worked there was vaccinated since no one was wearing a mask, barber became defensive and upset that the question was even asked. Did not feel it was an appropriate question to even ask.

Really great. Everyone in there was kind and the shop had a cool aesthetic. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place to get your hair did.It’s easy to make an appointment and they are open more hours than a lot of other local barber shops. You can choose the barber or pick first available if time is an issue.I’ve used four different barbers here and they all are friendly and good at what they do. The price is also more reasonable than other local spots.

Went in for my second cut here on Monday, Clark killed it the first time so I had to come back! I forgot to ask him to take a couple pics for a review so I couldn’t get the sides or the back but I did get a before and after, I didn’t feel like the same guy coming out of there! Look good feel good right! I ended up landing three more contracts that week! Momentum provides a good clean atmosphere with great talent! Thanks Clark!!

I can never say enough good things about momentum. Great staff. I always go to C.J. but their whole team is amazing. Sometimes I bring my son too and no matter what theyre always professional and welcoming. Jason, the owner is also helpful whether you need an appointment or a good restaurant recommendation. Highly recommend.

I typically dislike getting my hair cut - you dont know how it will turn out, it might be awkward... all that. I was VERY happy with Momentum. Its got a laid back vibe, the barbers/stylists are all nice, and Im very happy with how my hair turned out. The price, too, is standard for what youd pay at other barbers, although the experience you get seems like itd be more expensive. I will definitely be going back in 6 weeks for my next cut.

My wife and I brought our 6yo son to have his hair cut. We made an appointment and ended up with Clark as our barber. I want to take this opportunity to give him the shout out he deserves! He was so patient with him and very thorough and precise, our son wanted a shark design and Clark KILLED IT. One of the better places for a Fade but thats it.Went their for the first time and was really impressed with the fade but the overall haircut left me wanting quite a bit more. I would not suggest it if you having medium to long hair or if you want something thats not a fade.My barber was courteous and the service was excellent.

My husband got his beard trimmed here by a new girl who was inexperienced and unable to properly shape a beard. Not only did the other stylists not help this female hairdresser, but she left the beard in worse condition than it started. I highly recommend that you find another location for a beard should you not want a bad quality trim

Honestly, this was such a rad experience. Andrzej is the man and gave me a proper trim that my girlfriend really loves (#winning). Plus, he listens to Deftones, which automatically made the whole cut that much cooler as we then reminisced about metal, moshing, and Fred Durst. This place is for sure a vibe and Ill 100% be back!

I think this is a good place. For the most part the barbers are nice. What I hate is every time you walk in the place is a mess. I know it’s a barber shop but have some pride in your space. Hair and tissue all over the floor. Barbers just sitting around with out any care about cleaning their space.

My teenage sons like coming here. They are always busy in here and I would highly recommend getting in as early as possible to beat the rush. They accept the walk-ins ad well as take appointments.The cost is reasonable. The parking is tough because it’s either street parking or in one of the garages. However, the parking garages are close to this establishment.They are pretty cool barbers here who take great pride in their craft!

Ive been getting my haircuts here since I moved to Portland 4 years ago, and now its hard for me to imagine going anywhere else. Even when theyre ridiculously busy, they take the time to make sure my cut is perfect every time. The music, atmosphere, and people make every trip to momentum enjoyable.

Zoran took great care of me, I have a pretty big beard that I normally take care of myself. He had an idea to make a few minor changes to the shape of it and I let him have at it, so glad I did, looks even better now. Clean lines and a great fade on the haircut. Top notch cut. As far as atmosphere, it’s a bunch of dudes, if you are looking for a salon this is not the place to go, but if you want a good cut then this is a great place.

Literally the worst haircut ever! After the guy was done he asked me what I thought. I looked in the mirror and I pointed to all of the patches of hair he missed CLEARLY visible to me RIGHT AWAY. He said oh sorry about that, took his clippers and lazily went over it real quick. It was so awkward. And he didnt put the cape on me and I had all the hair he missed that he just cut all down my back and rode like that all the way home.My side burns are so uneven Im literally stunned. And the straight edge is garbage. I literally felt like someone cut my hair with a blindfold on. And he missed hair ALL OVER MY HEAD not to mention the part that I pointed out before I left the shop.And what surprised me most was the weak attempt to make it right after I said something. I cant believe. Ill never be going back despite the few good haircuts I received before.I AM NOT EXAGGERATING TO WHOEVER IS READING THIS. I literally cant believe how much he missed on my head. You had one job bro. My hair is all in one spot, all right there. How could this possibly happen?

This is the ONLY place that cuts my hair the way that I like it cut. I drive 2 hours each way for this place. They are attentive and know their stuff!! I wont go anywhere else. I am female and like a nice clean, sharp cut and they have never let me down.

Called and was given an appointment quickly. Showed up and got a quick cut that was on point. Great atmosphere and location. Would recommend and will be back.

Stopped in to get my back tapered. Sam buzzed the area on the left side of my head above my ear) down to skin. Note: the right side is about an inch long in the same place. Didnt realize how bad it was till I got home. Id ask for a refund but it wont make make this lopsided gaff on the side of my head grow back any faster.

First I’d like to say this is the first one star review I’ve ever given. The experience I had at this shop was extremely awful from the start. I walk into the shop and sit down, without a greeting or any form of acknowledgement. After about 10 minutes my soon to be barber looks up from his phone and asks me if I’ve been helped yet. He tells me to sit down and asks what I want. I told him not to touch the top, that I just wanted a fade on the sides. The actual haircut took about 15 minutes which is the quickest I’ve ever received from a shop. The whole time I was faced away from the mirror and listened to this guy complain and talk about how he was going to bash someone else’s teeth in. (I get personal issues but leave them outside of work.) When he finishes and spins me around he had not only given me a fade but buzzed the top part I had asked him not to. The actual haircut in itself was probably the worst I’ve ever received. A few of my friends have even proceeded to tell me that. I will have to go somewhere else to get it fixed.All in all I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a barbershop.

Walked in, loved the atmosphere and aesthetics of Momentum. I didnt have an appointment but I was in the chair 10 minutes after walking in, even though the place was packed. My barber, Joey, was very professional and made the experience enjoyable. High quality and very cheap for such a great haircut. I am going to recommend Momentum to all of my friends!

First experience was great. Second time in, I called and asked if they could take a walk in. Sure, they said. Showed up ten minutes later to find 3 barbers, 2 of whom werent working. One was sitting in his chair and got up to tell me that it was a 45 minute wait. When I told him I had called he said, oh. Well, ya still gotta wait. I left and went to the Blind Pig. Gote rigtr in and had a great experience.

Three days after my first haircut here I had a woman hit on me at Pearl because of it. Her opening line was literally, You have the best hair cut in here. Do I really, honestly, need to say more? I sure as f**k hope not. Cheers!

This place has a chill atmosphere. If you have a beard and need it shaped then stop by. Zoran made my beard clean cut. I wouldnt get it cut anywhere else.
