I brought my teen son here after one too many COVID days away from the barber 💈 shop. Cesar was AMAZING!!!! He took my son’s hair which was to his chin up to a badass fade and look! He’s the ONLY barber in 10 years who cut his hair correctly with his shape and natural hairline. Cesar was super cool and nice. Easy to talk to to and my boy loves him! We found our forever barber. The shop is very cool. I’d love to hang out there when COVID is over.

Adam and the crew at Morehouse are fantastic. Ive been going here for about 2 years, and am getting the most reliably good cuts Ive ever gotten. Hes friendly, helpful, kind, generous, and a good member of the community. Since COVID, theyve done an excellent job with their safety measures, minimizing the number of people in the space, requiring appointments, sanitizing, and having good ventilation. Highly recommend.

This place is an amazing barber shop with a lot of character and personality. They support local artists, the owner comes in and cleans up, the barbers are all super talented, and the location is wonderful if you are coming from North Portland.The whiskey and drinks are wonderful. Great haircut and they actually have and know the difference between plastic guards vs. the metal ones (the latter when sharp) make for a cleaner and better haircut. I see a lot of dads bringing their sons in for a haircut here. You even get a complimentary cocktail or beer with your cut....so whats not to like!

They got me on a walk in when the other barbers in St Johns were booked up. Had complementary whiskey and interesting art, and my cut and shave looked sharp

Hip barbershop with lots of great, positive personalities! I dont do anything fancy with my hair, just short typically, but the barbers here are always fun and quick. The prices will surely keep some in the neighborhood away, but hey, its a quality establishment! Plus, you cant argue with a free beer with any haircut!

A great neighborhood barber shop. They usually have complimentary beer and whiskey. Feels more like a real barber shop than places like Y-Chrome. Small TV, usually with sports on.

I went to Morehouse Barbers in May to have my beard trimmed and was pleased with the cut, and the cost . I kept putting off getting it trimmed again until November 29, by which time I had a very long, wild beard. Once again I was pleased with the cut.

I like to keep a very tight/clean fade and Adam does a PERFECT job every single time. He is fun to chat with and extremely talented at his trade! I highly recommend Adam and Morehouse Barbers!

Fun place to get a good cut

Montana cut our 6 year olds hair and did an incredible job. He made him feel very comfortable while getting his hair cut and made him look SOOOO handsome!!! Ive had worse haircuts but I cant really remember when Ive ever walked away with a completely different haircut than I requested. I walked in wanting a trim for my medium length hair and left with your standard frat boy fade, clipper size 2 fade all the way to the top. I even showed multiple pictures of the style I wanted so Im pretty dismayed that the barber, Kale, missed the mark that bad. I should have known when the barber kept insisting on using clippers instead of scissors, but sometimes you just relent and put your trust into the barber since theyre supposed to be trained professionals...oh how wrong and unlucky I was considering this barbers training probably topped off after dolls and just before stray cats. To add insult to injury, I noticed a few strands of long hair that I had to cut myself when I was home assessing the damage.Im sure this place gives decent haircuts if youre looking for one of the three most popular styles, but if youre looking for anything original you would have better luck asking a friend or attempting to cut it yourself. Sure the vibe of the place is great and its awesome that you can drink a beer while youre getting a cut, but its pretty sobering when you get home and look in the mirror to see the mess they caused.Overall Im just bummed that I wasted over 2 inches of hair length and 4 months growing out my hair just to have it cut off by a hack. I just moved to the area so if someone knows a quality barber please comment their contact info because Ill be in a similar situation in a few months when my hair grows out.P.S.This is the first review Ive EVER written for any type of company so that alone should show how much I disliked my haircut.

Lorenzo just did the most amazing transformation on me, taking me from long curly hair to a badass curly modified mohawk. He had me at ease from the beginning of the appointment and made me excited to embark on my journey. Truly a wonderful, welcoming place!
