Jeramy and JP are good people! JP cut my hair and she did a great job! I loved the old school barber shop with tons of witty and historic posters and pictures. I look forward to splurging on a straight razor shave sometime. Look for Elmers on Facebook or the Booksy app. Parking is a bit sparse in that part of town so a virtual drive around the block in Street View will help you with your plans, or you can just ride the bus. Will definitely be back.

First off the look of the place is fantastic and its very welcoming. JP is fantastic at her craft and also FANTASTIC at conversation. Great price for a superb haircut and beard trim and youll leave smelling great!! This place is a true gem.

JP gave me a great haircut and trimmed up my mustache. My wife approves of the cut too. Jeramy and JP both provided good conversation. I enjoyed a beer for the couple minutes I waited. Overall a very comfortable experience and a great haircut at a reasonable price.

JP was my stylist and she was great.Jeremy the owner was there and provided a great history of the business (a bit of history).The vibe was low key and engaging by both of the stylist.Really like the people and their work!I like that it’s close to my house.A couple of area of improvement I might suggest-Applepay or googlepay, is a great option for people that might use that method of payment.The place although great vibes for a small space, possible less items. This will make the place feel stuffy.Booking method was ok -I had originally tried using their facebooks booking, but when I used that option it required someone on the other end to confirm it. No one did and so I had to wait another couple of days until i booked it through there other option.

Disappointing encounter. Came in well before closing looking for a fade. Im alright if you dont have time for a walk in, but was told the barber was leaving early before posted hours. Okay. No problem. Asked if I could but a $15 tub of pomade...well above online prices...I want to shop local. But was told they wont run a card for product only. Sorry. Cash only. Again, I get it, transaction fees are real. But overall just a poor experience. As Im looking for a new barber in town Elmers wont be getting my business. They probably dont need it, but nonetheless you never know what customer youre losing with the simple things.

Jeramy is really good at what he does. It was my first time going to this barber shop in portland. I have been living at the OHSU Hospital for a month and havent been able to get a haircut since i came here for a appointment visit i left back home thinking i was going to be here a day not only to still be in portland a month later. Jeramy greets you as soon as you come in. He quickly offers you a place to sit. Asks how everyone in your group is doing and asks if anyone would like a water or soda. Not only does he take care of your hair he takes care of your guests as well. He keeps it real and keeps conversation going! He is very professional and knowledgeable. He gets to meet you by asking open ended questions and really cares for you. He took great care of my hair i only told him once what i usually get back in klamath falls, oregon my home town. He even had the product i get back from my barber suavecito to be honest i give elmers barber shop five stars only becuz there aint more stars to give! Jeramy keep doing what your doing man your killing it dont lose that momentum! P.S. i hope you go pro in cage fighting!
