Im a recent customer, only having been starting going there in the last 12 months. First a call out to Sarah, my stylist! Shes wonderful, taking great care in cutting & styling, and confirming throughout the cut whether it is going to my liking - which it always is! BBS has been wonderful in these Covid times as well, making appointments easy and having a well organized and safe entry and exit procedure for the salon. Shame the beers not available again yet, but Im sure that will all return in good time.

Taryn was very professional. I gave her free rein on her thoughts what my hair should look like and after a couple of questions, I got the perfect hair cut. Nice job!

When I moved here a year ago I really needed a haircut and while doing my research I concluded that Bridgetown barber society would be the first place I would try out. When deciding who would cut my hair, I noticed that Krystals name would pop up a lot in people’s reviews, so I booked my appointment with her! All I can say is I have never regretted my decision at all! I have been going to Krystal for roughly a year now and she is literally the best! She is not only a gifted barber/hair dresser but she is an awesome person as a whole! Definitely check her out if you are looking for a barber or hairdresser!

Nate is the best, been seeing him for years. He always does a spectacular job - I know because people always give me compliments after I get a cut from him. He offers suggestions and sometimes Im not sure, but when I try it people always tell me how good it looks! You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in his work. This Barber Shop is owned and staffed by consummate professionals who not only know how to cut hair but they listen. The scalp massages in that can shoulder massages, toe and finger nail grooming and everything in between is done with consideration and professionalism. You can also get a really great beer or stiff drink. This is a top-notch premium Barber Shop.

My barber Olivia just moved here. She is AMAZING. In my 4 plus years she has cut my hair, I have never had a bad cut! Best of all, her cuts always grow out looking fantastic! This is a great shop to. While you wait, or get your cut, you get a drink... OR TWO! How great is that? Honestly. As long as Olivia is around, she is the only one who I will let cut my hair.

Nate is a fabulous stylist with keen attention to detail. He can handle my squirmy 11 year olds afro, my teenagers fade and my bone straight androgynous pixie. He is kind and thoughtful as well.

Having moved down to Portland from Seattle four months ago. I was apprehensive about finding a new spot. The atmosphere is relaxing, they serve alcohol and my hair looks great every time I leave the place. I personally like a short/medium cut that is short on the sides, but almost medium length on top. If this is you then you should definitely check out the place.

I go to BBS to get my haircut and colored by Krystal. She is by far one of the top stylists in PDX for women and men as well. She is a color guru, I am a 50ish woman with white hair and she keeps my style edgy with highlights of a mauvy pink, and a similar toner. I constantly am asked by young women where I go to get this color-BBS. Krystal is also a master of color correction, and gray beautification-when ladies you’re ready to give up the bottled hair forever. Plus her cuts are precise perfection and she listens to exactly what you want. As a bonus she can recommend the perfect products to keep your look fresh.

Ive been to many barbershops in the area but Bridgetown has always been the most consistent. Ive been going back to see Kathleen, a super rad woman who does an amazing job, and frequently works with me to switch up the styling to try something new. This spot is a little more pricy than much of the competition, but has been well worth the extra few bucks to be confident youre going to walk out looking good.

Very chill shop, everyone there is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome. They offer drinks, have spots to hang belongings, etc. Don’t let the name fool you, they cut women’s hair also.

Let me start with a little back history of me and haircuts. I have, for the better part of 20 years, gone to the closest, cheapest places for a haircuts. You know the places I am talking about… They only use clippers, it takes about 6 minutes and you pay $20.00 for a $5.00 haircut.With that said, I figured I would look into a place with a little more experience and honestly, a higher level of talent. After a quick online search, I came across Bridgetown Barber Society. The reviews were very good so I figured I would give it a try.I booked on line (super easy) and was paired up with Shawn P. I arrived and was welcomed immediately and offered a drink (YAY! Alas, too early so I passed). Very cool décor and comfortable shop.Shawn P, yeah, she is pretty awesome. Amazing talent, took her time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable. It never felt like a rush to get me out of the chair and the next customer in my place. She did an absolutely amazing job using scissors! SCISSORS!! Eyebrow trim, straight razor neck shave and ear hair trim ( not that I needed that….)I thought the price was really reasonable considering the level of talent, experience and customer service. HIGHLY recommended, I know I will be going back to Bridgetown Barber Society for my next haircut.

Kathleen Stewart was hands down the best barber I have ever had. So attentive to how I normally style my hair and really listened to what I wanted. I hate when my hair is cut too short and Kathleen made sure not to do that and she gives the BEST scalp massages ever! She is now my new girl, also ask her for product recommendations because my hair was always dry on the end and she suggested a hair masque and it has transformed my hair.
