I love this place. Each barber is attentive and intelligent. I felt very relaxed and walked out looking like a whole snack 😂 I dont even feel the need to see the same dude each time, theyre all great so I just go with whomever fits my schedule 🤩

Curtis is a dope human. He is very meticulous and takes his time also. The environment is very welcoming and everyone maintains a professional yet friendly manner. I highly recommend any barber there for a fade.

Brought my friend in to get a low fade with a 1 on the sides and she definitely didn’t get that. She wanted a masculine haircut yet was dismissed when she told the barber what she wanted. First and last time going to this business. Her hair is chopped and screwed with uneven sideburns. Next time I suggest listening to a client rather than imposing your thought on what looks right.

I called around noon and got an appointment for 5pm. Robbie gave me a beard trim and it was the best beard trim Ive had in town, very affordable (non of that $50+ bullcrap at the hipster barber shops). Great beard trim and great service.

In my search for a place to get my haircut these guys were the only ones to call me back almost immediately to accommodate me to the best of their availability. Probably one of the best cuts Ive gotten in a long time. Shop was clean and well presented. Both barbers that were there were very courteous and welcoming. Funny guys. They welcomed me to Portland as we came here from GA. Very chill and very friendly. I brought my son with me and and both guys interacted with him. He had a blast talking to them about Star Wars.

Needed a place to get a haircut after two weeks on a roadtrip from Austin Texas. Decided on this place and it was a damn good choice. Jesse hooked it up. Best haircut Ive had in awhile and he was very professional. Great place, great vibes, everyone was very friendly. If I lived here I would make this my normal barbershop.

I went here once and it was the least comfortable haircut I ever got. There were a lot of people just hanging out; I didnt know who worked there and who didnt. A lot of swearing and drinking going on - which Im not against in general, but not what I look for when paying people for a service. Two stars because the haircut was decent, but I wont be going back.

Came in on 2 separate days, the first day I came in and there was only one person working and he said it would be about an hour and half wait, the second time I came in there was only one person working again late in the afternoon. Impossible to get a hair cut here, he said they drank a lot of Jameson the night before so no one else showed up. Good cuts when and if you can get in, but very unprofessional.

Showed up and it was closed during advertised hours. Strike one Came back the next day after calling and got a decent haircut. Music was annoyingly schizophrenic playing Bob Marley, death metal, and trap music super loud. Strike teo.When it was over, they pointed me to a ATM to get cash to pay them. A $3 fee to get a $25 haircut. This surprise at the end is a deal breaker for me. Strike three. Not coming back. I took a risk by trying a new barber shop, and this was a potential outcome.

Guil, Josh and the rest of the crew are excellent barbers. According to my wife, Guil is the only barber allowed to touch my head (I never told her that Josh cut my hair once). The shop is comfortable, the music is awesome, and the cuts are slick. I will go nowhere else besides Southeast Barber Company. P.S. Try out their new pomade. The stuff is fantastic!

I stopped by about 45 minutes after their scheduled opening time and the place was locked. I came back about an hour later. When I went inside, I greeted the three employees and stood there for a couple minutes. The only person who even acknowledged me was some lady folding towels who just stared at me uncomfortably. The owner walked by dismissively and ignored me when I said hello. The employees were all dressed like hipsters so I figured common courtesy wasnt a big thing here. I waited another couple minutes then left. The one barber who wasnt on his phone yelled something at me but I didnt catch what it was.I went to Bishops in Sellwood instead and got a great haircut.

Here from Philly and my buddy said, dont get a haircut or beard trim, I have a place. I read reviews and anyone giving 1 Star is doing so because they are a special kind of broken. What is not to like? A place where the playlist and ambiance screams tattoo parlor but gives great cuts as well?If you have social anxiety, take your meds and find a way to push through because you will feel like a new person. This place screams family...and every family has that one aunt or uncle they cant stand. Methinks people belly aching are more like the despised uncle.Thanks to Josh for an experience I wont forget!

First and last time here! Stopped in as a walk in because I was in the area. I dont know if the barbur was having an off day or if he doesnt know how to cut hair period, but the line up was crooked sideburns didnt match the face & cursing in the work environment when children are present is unprofessional. All I asked for was a bald fade with a line up. I received an chopped off & youre screwed disaster.

I came in asking for a low fade and a simple design instead they gave me the high disappear acting like I didn’t ask for a low fade and the design on my head was supposed to be an M but now I look like Ellen Degeneres with a heart in my head never going back here(.)

F Bombs and profanity are the order of the day as are discussions of sexual acts and violence because, the guy stepped into me. You might expect this kind of behavior from prison inmates, but not in a customer service driven profession such as this.I suspect the five star reviews are from friends and family.Hopefully they will grow up or close the doors.

Dude with the white hairs on his beard, who cuts in the right side in the first row, he did a terrible job. He cut my ear twice and did not give me the fade I asked for. He verified in the beginning what I wanted, I told him to cut the top half and inch and didn’t bother to. Terrible.

Josh cuts hair like no other. Great attention to detail and style. Very relaxed setting and clean atmosphere. Get a great cut everytime. He also takes appointments monday through thursday if i recall.

This place is great. They do me and both of my boys and know how to deal with black hair.

Worst barber shop ever. Say they are open til 7pm. I came in a 4pm on a monday there was only one guy there and he said to me ehh im gonna go home after this and said hours are what he wants. I drove all the way out here for a haircut just to be turned away.There is better shops in the area i implore you to find one of those maybe then these people willl know the value of customer service

My hair got messed up, beard got messed up as well !! It was my first time there and Bryan gave me a haircut and it was on of the worse haircuts I even got to be honest .. the fade was poor was poor in quality, my beard was already lined up and I only asked the barber to clean up around it .. I clearly asked him if he can swwy lineup that I made on my beard and he said YES !! 5 minutes later, half of my beard was gone !! And he charged me 40$ for that .. I message for the owner, if you wanna get clients, get better barbers :) thank you

Apparently impossible to get a haircut here. Showed up at 10:30 am during business hours and they werent open, tried again in an hour, still not open. I called them and left a message, no call back. Called later to make an appointment and they were really rude to me. I really needed a place to give $30 to every couple months, but I guess they dont want it.
