The person who cut my sons hair, not only he was not professional but also did not cleanup my son after he finish cutting his hair. When I asked him to clean up the hair from my sons shoulder and close, he did not even try. I use to like the place but my experience today made me decide not to ever come back. If the owner read this call me I can tell who exactly the barbet I dealt with was.

Taryn did my hair last night and he did such a good job I am going to continue coming and booking him each time! first off, I look fresh, I came in looking wild and I walked out looking dapper. The experience was friendly and professional and I felt safe because masks were worn in the shop and Taryn assured me they used high grade cleaning supplies. There was plenty of distance between all people in shop and people waiting for their appointments waited outside in their cars. Taryn is kind and very talented and you should book with him!

I’ve had bad experiences with barbershops in the past and around Oregon. But once I went to classic men’s barbershop I felt right at home. Welcoming staff. Very detail oriented barbers who take there time to get you the haircut that you desire. Weather you areCaucasian, Hispanic, African American or Asian . I firmly believe Classic mens brings in a welcoming crew that is willing to work with any type of hair with a 1 of 1 experience at a great price.

I took my son in to get his hair cut by Roly. The shop has a really cool, chill vibe. My son can be a handful, but Roly took control and my son behaved the whole time. The haircut was excellent. I know kids hair can be tough to fade, but it turned out perfect! The technical skills are there and the shop is a great, masculine place to enjoy. We will be back and suggest you try it out if you havent been yet.

Ahmed was great. Was referred by a friend to him. Hes trained as a stylist, so he can do womens hair as well as men. Some barbers prefer not to. Even being the only woman in the shop, I was made to feel perfectly comfortable.Classic Men is an awesome Old School barbershop. With the culture and all that goes with it.Its designed for the man, but made comfortable for the woman as well.Great place, great service, awesome haircuts.Watching them do cuts,while getting one, was amazing. There nothing they cant do. Bald fades, perfect lineups, designs, you name it.As a stylist myself, I can unequivocally say, cuts are perfect!!!Ahmeds cut and service was Top Notch!!!

These guys were awesome and friendly which made being in a Barber shop way less intimidating for me as a female with a short cut.Their shop is also tricked out and super cool that they have a pool table. I was so impressed that I took my 12 year old brother in to this barber shop, and had Taryn give him his first “real hair cut”. This man is amazing with the clippers, and pays so much attention to detail. In all honesty, my hair has never looked so damn good. His scissor work is out of this world, and you get your money’s worth with this gentleman. I highly recommend. I finally found the right barber shop! I have been a customer to several barbershops including champion and this one tops them all. Very fair price, book appointments online, drinks available for purchase, pool table, great music, conversations and atmosphere. The owner Frank and the rest of the barbers are very professional and will go above and and beyond to ensure that you got the haircut you wanted. Highly recomended!

I dont know about many things, but i DO know this is the best barbershop in SW PDX hands down. The App makes scheduling a breeze, you may have a nice adult beverage while you wait if ya like, the energy of the room is always positive, the prices arent trumped up, and most importantly, ALL of the stylists give tight fades!!! My barber was a bit sloppy. One of his stations buzzers had a miss-aligned tooth that burned my neck skin. I had hair ALL over me(bro a brush or blow dry before pulling the apron). My side burns were misaligned. I had a picture of what I wanted and he went too short. I get it, were all human..but that was some slop. Ill give these guys another shot, but damn was I let down. Not mad, just disappointed.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and poor level of professionalism! We booked an appointment earlier today for our son, to get a kids haircut with Ahmad at 2 pm after having read several rave reviews about how good Ahmad was. Our son and was very excited about getting his haircut, so my husband and our son made sure that they arrived early for the appointment. When they got there they werent greeted by anyone. My husband and son waited patiently in the waiting area for someone to acknowledge them, and spoke up and mentioned that they had a 2 pm appointment, at 2:20 pm, after the noticed that another customer was able to get priority treatment and was helped after they had arrived. My husband was passed onto another barber, after waiting 20 minutes past the scheduled appt, and was told that Ahmad could not do our sons hair, because he had double booked himself for the 2 pm slot. ( Mind you, I had spoken to Ahmad over the phone earlier in the day to confirm the 2 pm appt and he had acknowledged over the phone that we had a 2 pm appointment). When I called the barbershop to discuss what had happened I was passed onto someone named Frank, who identified himself as the owner. Frank was very dismissive, and told me that Ahmad had not double booked, but that he had a family emergency at home with a child, and had to leave and then come back and that this is why he was not available. I told Frank that this is not was my husband was told, and insisted with Frank that my husband had been told that Ahmad had been double booked and my husband had never been informed about the family emergency. My husband said that Ahmad appeared to show no urgency in cleaning up his area, and taking a break before leaving to his family emergency. The owner, was never apologetic about the incident. Just sad to see that we tried to support a local business and got such poor treatment as a new customer. We should at least have received an appropriate apology or a discount for the inconvenience.

I stumbled upon this shop by accident. Very professional staff, clean and calm atmosphere. It was one of the best cuts Ive ever had.

Simple amazing.

I scheduled an appointment online, which was pushed back by 30 minutes. So I showed up at the new time and waited ANOTHER 30-45 minutes, and Taryn gave me a haircut that I had to go somewhere else to get fixed. Never have I needed to do that. To their credit, after not a single barber acknowledged me when I got there, the owner did ask if I had been helped and offered me a drink when he arrived at the shop
