Busy, to busy for long time customers. Is that good or bad? I dont know. Always had good luck with them in the past but I guess like most of Portland they are discovered now and to busy for old customers. Best of luck... I will find another shop and keep on moving. If you can get in they do good work.

My car didnt start after getting gas. We didnt even know this auto place-Vochos was next door to the gas station. The gas attendant told us to ask them for help. The mechanic came out and helped us. It was a quick fix (cleaned the battery terminal). Next time we have any car issues, we are going here! Thanks for helping us out!

These guys are awesome! They took great care of my VW and were very affordable. I was told by other mechanics that I would have to pay a lot of money to fix a couple different issues and Vocho’s found them and fixed them for next to nothing in comparison. Grateful to have a reliable mechanic.

Great mechanics and great service. I deliver auto part for living and I drop parts offf the these folks several 5a day. Full service garage and they know their stuff. They are up and current with certifications and tech specs.Go see Dave and he will take great care of u!!

Dave and them at Vochos do some awesome work. I have gone to them for an engine rebuild for my wifes 97 Camry and more recently to rebuild the engine in my 91 D21. As well as smaller things such as U joints and diagnostics. They are friendly and fair priced. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good mechanic. They do not have a waiting room and typically need to schedule repairs at least a week in advance.

David and his team do an excellent job! They are trustworthy, reliable, extremely knowledgeable and capable mechanics. Tiny place but they are amazing and get it done anyway. I have been a fairly regular customer for a good number of years now and will continue to be.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Vochos for 2 years. At first we chose them because they are just a few blocks from home - but now Im a dedicated customer and I would drive across town for these guys. I own two cars - one that is 5 years old and one that is 10 years old.Im happy with the service, the transparency, speed, and quality. I have a high degree of trust in their team and they have delivered well for me and my friends again and again.

I have been going to Vochos for about 7 years. It can be SO hard to find a good mechanic, I feel blessed to have found David and his team.I stumbled into this shop because my car broke down and the tow truck that picked it up recommend this place. I was a young woman in my early 20s and yet not even once did I get taken advantage of in services, pricing nor did I ever get creepy vibes from the workers. I cannot recommend David (the owner) and his mechanics enough. 7 years later I am still a faithful customer and I recommend them to any one that asks for quality, honesty and transparency.

If there were higher marks than excellent to rate this business, then I would: I have been coming here for years because David is nice, honest, courteous, and always looking to save me money on repairs.I brought in my moms Honda and instead of just doing the repairs, they advised me to take it to the dealership since the part was still probably under warranty due to a recall. Turns out Honda would not warranty the part, and wanted to charge me almost $1100. Vochos Auto Repair did it for around $300.Just the other day, I brought my Mercedes in expecting about $800 in repairs for steering and front headlight wiring issues. They didnt try to sell me a whole new wiring kit and do a bunch of expensive repairs and did not try to sell me on replacing power steering components. Instead, they did the least expensive and most practical repairs: re-taped the wires I had and just filled up my power steering fluid. When I went to pay they told me, Dont worry about it. These guys are the best, I will only bring my car to them. If our politicians were even half as honest and decent as these guys, our countrys problems would already be nearly good as fixed.

This place is the best! I have never encountered such professionalism and courteous treatment in a car shop before. David is very knowledgable on VW thus the name, which I will not explain, and any other car you may have trouble with. David has been taking care of my brothers cars for years and now he kindly took care of mine. He is honest and very reliable and the people he has working with him are awesome as well. Dont understand the review about the phone call, because they go above and beyond with their professional service (how can you post a review without even getting there? just on a phone call? get a life...). I highly recommend this place anytime your car has issues. If you expect professionalism, courtesy and the work done, Davids Vochos Auto Repair is the way to go! Many experiences with Vochos, all just great. David and his wife run the Lents neighborhood shop. Pros: Davids a skilled mechanic, reliable and fairly-priced. Cons: Its a small shop thats due for a few improvements. And he gets busy so there may be a wait. Still theyre my first choice for scheduled service and maintenance.

Just calling around to ask a question about my vehicle, I didnt even get to do that. I realize I was calling close to closing but I am new to the area and just wanted to get an idea of the shops in the area. Terrible representation of customer service, answered the phone Hello? what do you want? (didnt even say the name of the shop I had to ask if I had the right number) then wouldnt let me ask a question just said I could bring it in, in the next few days. No thanks.

Have had extensive work done from rear seal to suspension, to heater core and belt assembly. Am ALWAYS SATISFIED with the great and dependable service I receive from the owner, his family members and crew!!!

Our new go to mechanic. Check engine light came on. David checked it and told me he thought it was just a gas cap. Sent me to auto parts store to get the gas cap. No charge.
