Ive been a proud Volvo owner for years, but mileage is getting up there and so are the maintaince requirements. First to anyone out there that owns a Volvo (doesnt matter the year) go to a Vovlo specialty shop. They have and pay the high licensing fees for the special equipment that allows them to access your car problems in detail. In the p In the past other multi make mechanics were able to hook up to the car computer but the information was limited and simply misdirected the mechanic who ended up charging me for repairs and changes that were not needed. The Volvo Shop is a beautifully kept opertation. I walked in the door and was immediately welcomed by front desk personel. I went over my needs and they quickly gave me an accessment and a cost breakdown by service and part with time frames required. For some of the bigger jobs they did express that grouping discounts can be applied. I had them finish my 120k maintainance. The cost was reasonable and less than other shops i had priced in the area. After digging into the vehicle they provided me more information on what i could expect form the car over the next 80k miles. I am a CPA by trade and i appreciate the ability to plan for the future. I would highly recommned there services
