The worst insurance Experience I have ever had. They do not return phone calls and emails in a timely matter. I am six weeks and not been reimbursed from the claim. Ive had to fight them on every step of the claim as well. Nothing goes smoothly with this company. I would never let them represent me and hold my insurance.
Honestly, a great company to work for overall. Good benefits with a pension and plenty of opportunity for growth. Quick to promote and work from home is great! Working as a claims adjuster just wasnt for me and getting out of claims is difficult once youre in.
The person who hit our daughters vehicle, and instantly admitted guilt on the scene of the accident, has this insurance company, and they have been an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with. It took SIX weeks for our vehicle to even get TOWED, and I had inform them I was looking into hiring an attorney (which I still am) for that to even happen! Their opening hours are extremely limited, and they do not pick up their phones and return maybe one in four or five phone calls. It is over 2 months since the accident and their newest excuse is that the person we have been dealing with is now on vacation. I have never had such atrocious service from an insurance company. It makes no sense, because each day they keep delaying this, they will be charged for the vehicle rental fee, as our daughter needs a vehicle for work.
I really hope everyone reads this before choosing Liberty for auto insurance. The agent I spoke with had quoted me $60 less then what I am getting billed now. I have called several times with hold times over 30 minutes just for an agent to say they will adjust my bill and of course 3 months later and my bill is not fixed. I now have to cancel my ACH so I won’t keep getting over billed but by doing this they will also add on a $10 fee to the bill for not having ACH . Do your research before choosing them as I am now at a 50 minute hold time just to speak to an agent.
I called them asking for a quote and they told me it was going to be 600$ a month to insure me. I’ve never been in an accident, or have had any tickets ever and other insurance companies insured by cars for 80-90$ a month. I asked to be taken off the calling list and they said they would do that. 2 days later I get another call. I asked to be taken off the list yet again. 30 mins later they call me again and I yet again ask to be taken off the list. They called me 3 more times after In the same day and at this point I’m very upset and tell the person to stop calling as this is becoming harassment. This company has zero respect for you. They are just an overall bad company and really are looking to scam you out of money. Stay away as far as possible. If I could give less then one star I would.
After collecting all the personal information from me, they didn’t even bother to send me the final quote. I had to call twice to request this. I even sent a separate email to one of the customer care agent mentioning that I haven’t received any email with the quote. Havent got any response since then. Planning to file a formal complain.
Liberty mutual was a source of constant dissapointment. Long hold times when calling to correct a mistake on their part. I also had a customer service person that did nothing but argue and his rudeness was beyond anything I have experienced. That is as much detail I want to get into because it would be a whole chapter listing the many blunders most of which cost me money. Needless to say I switched companies and wont recommend to anyone.
You have a bad rep in leaving people hanging and not getting things done when there supposed to when I call no one picks up AND I DO MEAN NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE you guys don’t make reservations on time for rental vehicles you guys have bad customer service
Rude, cruel, inconsiderate people, unprofessional, trying to pretend they know what they are talking about, they understand everything, but it’s really totally the reverse. They are so desperate to keep their client from being held responsible for a claim they not only do not listen, they actually make up alternative facts. My advise. You get into a dispute with a client of theirs you might as well just prepare to sue them. And believe me these people will all by themselves stress you out so very much you might as well be going after them not just for the original dispute but a ton of pain and suffering.

Not happy with online quote, started at $56 went to $86 then when I finalized & went to purchase it topped out @ &128.. with only 1 ticket for minor infraction on my record..needless to say Im now looking for new insurance
I have to honestly say that this company has one of the worst car insurance rates in the industry. I want to be a friend to you and recommend that if you are considering car insurance look into ROOT INSURANCE. They are a new company based out of San Francsico. My rate with them is $106 monthly compared to the $332 Liberty me. To say the least it was quite outrageous and I have been a happy Root Customer for months now.God Bless!!
Poor customer service. We had an accident and they recorded the same accident twice. Its been over a year and they are still charging us double and trying to fix their own mistake.
I paid $300 a month for liberty mutual to insure my 2015 Mercedes and 2014 Kia Forte. I now pay Root insurance $80 a month to insure them both and I have my brother on the insurance now, too. Hmmmm... you’re looking a little pricey liberty mutual. That’s not very nice.
I am not a Liberty Mutual cusomter, I had a claim against the driver who hit my car and who had Liberty Mututal as their insurance. My car was totaled, which was devastating to me as I would have no way to get to work. Luckily I had a witness in my favor as well as a police report showing the other guy was at fault. My claim to Liberty Mutual was settled very fast and I was given a good rental car for work commute while my claim went through. There were a couple of snafus along the way dealing with various people, but in the end, I was reimbursed with an amount that did allow me to get a car almost identical to the one I had lost. The agents explained that the reimbursement amount is not arbitrary but based on study of car prices for vehicles identical to the lost car in a 100 mile radius of the claimant. They were good for their word and I now have a working new car. All along through my claim process I heard friends and families horror stories about getting ripped off when THEIR cars got totalled, getting a small fraction of what their car was worth. So the whole thing was pretty traumatic. But in my case, Liberty came through. Just wanted to post a note of thanks.
Very rude and unprofessional people-just yelling at you and interrupting you without listening to you, trying to persuade you in something different, that you are saying not because how it is, but because it’s in their favor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were in an accident involving a driver (at fault) that carried Liberty Mutual. Our assigned claim adjuster from Liberty Mutual had an attitude that she really didnt care about our inconveniences as she called them, from this accident. She also told us that this is the risk we take everytime we get into our vehicle....well yes, isnt that what we purchase insurance for? To cover our risk? She would not issue us a tow truck, and took 2 days to get us a rental car (finally arranged by the auto body shop that went above and beyond for us). My husband did not go to work for 2 days. Claims adjuster at Liberty Mutual could have cared less. She never bothered to get any of the facts straight. Horrible customer service skills., and her condescending emails did not help.
Service has always been amazing. Liberty mutual may not be the cheapest of insurance options, but they will be there when you need it. Liberty Mutual is a great option if you want to know you will be covered when you need it.

The rear end happened on April 9. The only call that was received was from a Kim stating we wont proceed until we check the black box in the car to see if you were swerving and caused the guy to hit you. All of a sudden were dealing with an airplane. Its been 4-weeks with no follow up. Called to see 1.Why theyre spreading false information and 2.Whos going to meet me at the Mercedes dealership to take the car apart and put it together 3.Pick up the tab.Would love to see this black box.When asked Brittany why theyre spreading false information, she taken a back and stuttered then said I dont know (zero accountability, no apology, no case follow up) I then told her ill follow a complaint with the BBB and plan to take them to court. Who knows how many people they say this to (almost sounds like a scare tactic), she then says do it, good luck, and hangs up on me.Well Brittany, your wish is coming true: thats exactly what im doing.
I have been with LM for 25 years and filed my first claim in February. Not at fault accident and LM offered to subrogate the claim for me. NEVER DO THIS! They argued with my body shop and it took 9 months to get the car back. My agent is unable or unwilling to call me once a year for a policy review. I hate that they now spend so much money on advertising. Hoping to find a new agent or move to another company. Several of the adjusters told me that MetLife is very easy to work with and pays claims in a timely fashion.

I am very angry, because I decided to cancel with the liberty mutual insurance, and they have very poor coordination and according to them, you have the car insurance and pay at the end of the month, contrary to what I understand from all the insurance, you must pay first to be able to use insurance. I paid my insurance on April 17, I would understand that I am insured until May 17 and it is not like that for them on April 17 it covers me before May 17 it means that I use the insurance without being charged, it is something I do not understand, cancel today and they are charging me until May 17th. Then they charge me and leave me if I insure because if I wait for May 17 they charge me 390 for a month that is already paid, and the services are bad paying that for a single car because the other parquiado. So bad
