Machine side is decent, little aggressive for my tastes. The staff doesn’t go the extra mile by any means even after being handed a good tip. The $20 platinum isn’t worth it at all if they don’t put a little effort into it.

Decent priced car wash that did a pretty good job. In addition the vacuums are free and really powerful. Also there is a vacuum for each side of your car to make it easier. I will say that one of my vacuums seemed drastically under powered though.

1st time through this car wash they did a amazing job. Car looked great and really like the free vacuum cleaners to sweep the car out. Borrowed a friends car for a couple months so I wanted to return it washed and swept out for letting me borrow it.

Updated, really clean car wash. Doesnt scratch your paint. Awesome Vacuums, and they appear to be adding pay stations so you can get in and out even faster then you do already. The owner is also a really great guy!! I highly recommend this carwash.

Although a newer facility, after canceling membership they continued to charge my card. Asked for management that apparently is never available and was told to email for refund. Never recieved response. Reinterated that I needed membership canceled. To this day they continue to charge me!! Unreal!! Id you go here DO NOT GET THE MEMBERSHIP!!!!

Great service! The staff come out and take your payment ahead of time. Not sure if theyve been doing this since before COVID or not, but either way thats cool. I got the gold wash today. Wow, it did an awesome job, WAY better than a gas station car wash. Even better, free vacuums!

Good, car wash. That have a variety of washes ranging in price. I normally do gold wash for like $12, that is a mid price wash. They also have convenient monthly passes.

Very difficult to reach management/owner. Once I had set up the monthly membership, I tried to contact them to change to a lower tier and never heard from them. Since then, I’ve lost my hood emblem and gotten scratches all down the right side of my car during two separate times in the automatic wash. Only after I emailed them to cancel my membership and notify them of the scratches, did they return my message, telling me it’s not their fault and I should just get a lawyer. Their staff is great, but the owner was incredibly rude and difficult to reach for any issues.

Bought a wash here once and when it was over I got out to check how it did and on my passenger side was a huge streak of grease.....not to happy.I was polite and was refunded my moneyHAD MULTIPLE OTHER TELL ME THE SAME THING HAS HAPPEND TO THEM.save some money and just do it YOURSELFthats my lesson learned

I’ve been going here since I could drive! Love getting my car washed then using their free vacuums afterwards. It’s always quick & inexpensive.

Wish there was a NO STAR REVIEW. I used them for 3 months with the monthly pass. Mostly during the winter to keep the salt off my car. But now I have a series of straight line scratches going the length of my car fron center wheel highth. I contacted them on there web page to cancel my monthly pass and told them about the damage to my car with NO RESPONSE. It has been 3 weeks and still no response. Very nice looking car warwash but definitely not worth the damage to my car, stay away from the one in Portage Mi.

After getting a carwash, I used the free vacuum. I had lost a valuable ring a few weeks ago, and when I heard a heavy object go up the vacuum hose, I realized it might be the ring. I told the attendant what happened and she took my info and said the maintenance guy would look for it. They actually looked for it, found it, called me and I was able to retrieve it! Thanks so much! Will always get my washes here from now on!

Do NOT recommend! Paid for the platinum plus was for $18 then ended up having to go back for a second free wash and it still didnt get everything clean. They took my number down so some one could call me and I still havent heard from anyone!

I like it. My 4 runner has never looked cleaner and shiny. I think Im going to purchase a car wash pass for the year.

They never dry my car all the way and I end up with splotches and weird dry marks all over. They also broke my front license plate. How do I cancel my subscription they wont answer the phone

They refuse to answer the phone to actually cancel my subscriptions. Left several messages regarding the canceling and still nothing. No website or email available to reach out to. Service is very very poor here. The car wash itself does an ok job, the dryers are really the focal point that need attention. The back cab of my truck never gets dried and always leaves marks. On one occasion, one of the sprayer stations was not working, (I believe rinse free stage) so I went back around to tell an employee and request another car wash since mine was not completed all the way and the owner told me that only those who pay per wash would get another car wash, not monthly member. Extremely frustrating. This is the same owner who attempted to stay open during the covid shutdown and got a letter from the attorney general. I caution those looking for a car wash to use.

After I got my car wash I go to the boy that pulled me in me myself I have ran a car wash for ten years in my experience. So my mud was light all the way around my truck so I got out to check the quality of the wash. There top wash at that and I asked the young man there if I could possibly get a re-wash cause theres mud still on my truck and on my wheels and he said no man theres no way I can because there was nothing wrong with our car wash that didnt work. Me knowing that and I never said car wash malfunctioned. well he said I would but the mangers here . Aint that more reason to see I wasnt happy with my car wash so you re-wash someone so they would come back. Pour business and un-professional And miss-trained all the way around.

Man, this place is great.. poor set up while youre trying to leave when finished with vacuuming your vehicle out and theyll be a huge line a cars that you must maneuver around. Minus that the attendant is nice and the dash wipes are a must.. say yes to the dash wipes!

Their machine caught my rear windshield wiper and broke the motor. The manager Oliver told me it was their fault and they would make it right... He called me once to see if I had fixed it on my own...I had said no... He said they would have a mechanic fix it, but they had to call me back during the week... going on 2 weeks... still no call.

Best wash Ive used around town. They do a good job of getting the bugs off the front bumper and the dryers are a step above the other places. Tire shine on the higher tier washes is a little not-so-shiny, but if you care about that sort of thing you probably have a bottle at home

Super awesome service that goes above and beyond! I pulled into the car wash this morning and the attendant asked about a small dent that has white paint on it along the front of my car. It’s pretty old but still there. Then she proceeded to go and find a magic eraser and take the white paint off the dent! It looks amazing now and I was so impressed with her initiative and attention to detail! Thank you so much for caring for my car! I’ll only get a wash here!

We have been monthly members for both our cars. They do a great job keeping them both some of the cleanest in town. Highly recommended

Poor service, very unprofessional in handling of customer issues

I have the monthly service which has gone really well until lately. Due to the state mandated shut down they closed their doors and they are not responding to emails or calls you can’t even leave a message. At least they could have sent their monthly customers a letter or answer their emails. I get this is hard on everyone but how do you not let your customers know how your handling things when the service they are paying for is not being provided. I’m trying to cancel but can’t and with everything going on I can’t afford to be charged for something I’m not getting or know how it’s being handled.

Best carwash in town. They have free vacuums while they are open which I think is great considering the price for a few minutes at local competitors. We have the monthly membership so we get to go every other day all month for 19.99 with the basic wash. They hand out dash wipes for your interior and are always friendly. Even with a line to the street they keep things running smoothly and quickly to get you in and out! My car always comes out looking great.

My husband bought me a pass so I can go every other day if I want! Good prices and well worth the $25 a month. They even have Free very high power vacuums.

Normally we have a great experience here and are monthly members- today my husband and his car were trapped in car wash for over 10 minutes. We have some damage to the running board of the vehicle but have been told that repairs/reparations are only on newer model vehicles?

Rip off. Paid for a year. Never got one wash First time I went they asked if I had gotten a new car. I purchased a full year only three weeks earlier and they said it didn’t renew so I needed to pay again.

If you are the type that doesn’t trust drive threw car washes with your car I can relate. However, this establishment is run with pride and integrity. After there new revers osmosis rinse you will find your car spot free. You will not find a better car wash not even at a hand wash detail shop. I highly recommend this place.

Never go here again we had our truck 3 days and their blowers ripped our tono cover right off. They wouldnt take care of it.

I decided to take my truck there this morning to get a car wash, I paid the $18 premium price and did not even get the owner to spray off the front before I pulled in. He just turned on the car wash and let me drive in, did not push my mirrors in. Even gave him a $2 tip in the beginning.

Paid for a gold wash. At the beginning the bronze wash sign was lit up. As we were leaving the sign said we received a bronze wash.

Dont bother bringing your truck here. Even after two platinum washes, the running boards and the supports for them underneath were still filthy. All the attendant had to say is that they cant guarantee that the dirt will come off...AFTER the first time through when I complained.

This place beat the heck out of my truck. While going through I thought there was quite a bit of noise being made that I had not experienced at other washes. When I got home I found that the wash had taken the cover off of my running board. Of course this happened in the evening and by the time I noticed it they were closed. After reading the other reviews I am not going to hold my breath expecting anything to be done about it. Enter at your vehicles own risk!

This car wash put alot of scratches on my car (read the update also).UPDATE: Due to the companies concern after seeing my review I was contacted by the owner & we set up an appointment to look at the scratches on my vehicle to determine what was causing it. After an inspection, a tour of the facility (bonus I like tours & I got to feel all the brushes) & a couple of questions I left Crystal Wash with a better knowledge & comfort knowing that it wasnt the car wash that caused the scratches on my vehicle & Ive gained confidence knowing that there wont be no future scratches either. I left my crystal car wash appointment with an understanding that this companies #1 priority is customer care & customer satisfaction which has encouraged me to stay with them & continue to be a supportive member.Thank you Crystal Car wash for your quick response & taking the time to deal with an unhappy customer. Im no longer an unhappy customer but now Im a happy customer which is important. I can with confidence bring you new customers.

Great car wash but every time I go when they are not busy I feel like Im interrupting them. I really feel like an imposition.

My mom goes here and has had a good experience and she drives a Honda pilot.Ive gone here twice for my GMC Acadia and both times it took something off my vehicle. First time it took of my back windshield wiper off. At first I thought maybe it was loose and was bound to come off, and of course I noticed after they were already closed. I didnt bother to call and see if they could find it. I was being nice and didnt want to automatically blame them.I went in today and my passenger side mirror, just the mirror, came loose and fell off. I probably should have put my mirrors in prior but I havent had to do that to the similar car wash on 9th street and any other car washes Ive been too with this same vehicle. I also noticed that most people who come here dont put their mirrors in either....This time I decided to talk to someone immediately after it happened. The worker looked for it for a decent amount of time but no luck. He gave me a form to fill out and said he would continue to look for it. I havent recieved a call yet and my boyfriend tried calling but no one answered. I only saw two people working so they were busy and probably just short staff. I do appreciate that the worker took the time to look for it. Although I will be disappointed if I dont receive a follow up call whether they found it or not. It will still be nice to hear from someone. I know they say they arent responsible for anything that happens or parts but I will not be attending this car wash and risking another part coming off.Besides parts coming off, they do a good job of cleaning, have free vacs and I do appreciate the worker looking for my mirror, thats why Im giving them 3 stars, but this car wash may be to aggressive/rough. I will be editing this though if I dont hear back. Follow ups are always greatly appreciated.

Just had my Toyota Venza washed at this place and never in my life have I seen a back wiper blade move from its position and now it dont work and I have scratch marks on my vehicle where the wiper was hanging down at. I pray they call me cause if not my husband will be making a appearance down there. The lady was okay with me after it happen but we will see..

Wax residue on my truck after their premium wash. Called to let them know and if theyll rewash it. The attendant said yes but Id have to pay for the re-wash lol. I really liked that place but they just lost a monthly customer because of this. Not a good business move at all!

Their subscriptions make this such a good deal. During construction in my neighborhood every day m car was covered in mud up to the roof. They were able to clean it every time.

I like the carwash a lot! They are just improving over time. I have recommended this place to numerous people and all have been satisfied. I have a black vehicle and keeping it clean is hard, but, Crystal Carwash makes it easy! The drying could be a smiggin better but, over all, very good! Keep up the good work!

I gave this 3 stars since the drying of my car is not great. When I first started my monthly membership it seemed like more dryers were going and my cars finished dry. Now, it seems like they have less dryers going and my cars finish extremely wet. I have to get out ever time and towel off my cars.

Windshield smashed and have yet to hear from anyone! Not are you okay? or anything! Attendant said the brush hadnt been working right so not sure why they just didnt close it down until they had it fixed correctly. Care more about making a buck then someones safety. It was a very scary experience and will not go back there.

Came in for a wash and I broke my wheel well. Left them my information no reply or call, tried to call them myself to no surprise they did not answer. They dont even have a voicemail I will be driving up there again today to make sure that this is fixed dont go to this place they are horrible

Used the Crystal Car Wash on West Main only 3 times this summer (the only times Ive not used Milham Car Wash in many years) and on the third visit resulted in the passenger side mirror being ripped off the door. After a month of requesting to talk to someone in management I was put in contact with Katie via email. Long story short, they say the model of car I was driving is prone to this problem with their car wash. Had I known that I wouldnt have risked the damage. I requested they cover the mirror replacement cost ($50) and put up a sign indicating the car models that might be damaged in their car wash. The email reply was nothing but a picture of their sign that says they choose to not cover damage to customers vehicles. The drive to Milham Car Wash on Portage Rd. is now very justified.
