76 days and 31 emails plus numerous phone calls. That is what it took to get them to do what they were hired to do.Sherlock sent the worker out the first time on Feb. 17 (paid in full at that time) to find leaks in my pool. He found 2 leaks around two return pipes and put putty on them. I explained to the worker I needed the system tested so we could resurface the Lania. Now we are into the rainy season. The pool was still leaking and getting air in the system. Would be almost 3 weeks before they could come back because they are very busy. He came back on 3/8/21 and still never pressure tested the system but broke the pool pump lid and said 3 valves were leaking and were replaced.  They brought a new lid out but no testing. Finally, on May 3 they sent a couple of techs out that knew what they were doing and in 50 minutes all problems solved. They get your money and then you are at their mercy. No clue what customer service is. Stay away from Sherlock.

Sherlock did a great job with the leak in our pool. The tech that came out was knowledgeable, respectful, and very helpful in sharing information about pools and maintaining them. They will be the company I call for any further needs.

I Google for a pool repair place and Sherlock had great reviews. I called and got an appointment in just a few days. Kevin the tech was on time and spent a good deal of time looking for my leak. He finally found the leak that no one else could seem to find. Very professional and prepared for the job.

I had a leak in my pool. I called on a Monday morning and by 2pm that afternoon Bill showed up. Before he started he informed me of the charges which I agreed to. Within 20 minutes he located the leak in my skimmer, repaired it and was on his way. This was great service, courteous and priced right. I highly recommend this company.

It pays to hire an expert. Kevin,with 30 years experience, came on time, checked the skimmer with a dye test, found the leak in the overflow pipe, and fixed it in a minute. Offered pointers on how to better maintain the pool and how to drain the overflow manually and I happily paid him (at a rate that was better than some competitors).And too, Vivian in the office was very helpful and knowledgeable.Great company!

Continued....The Tech, Bill Bushner, called me after his assessment. There were two known leaks - both underwater. He repaired both with epoxy, and also repaired a sheer waterfall feature that he determined wasn’t flowing properly due to a bad elbow joint. He replaced and repaired that as well.The diagnosis was a flat rate of $275. The repairs were completed during the same visit by Bill.The total cast was $375 - so it was an extra $100 above the diagnosis, for the repairs.I have 30 days warranty - if there are any leaks at all - anywhere in the pool system - they will return, diagnosis and repair at no extra charge.I haven’t seen the repair yet - but at this point I am extremely satisfied with the services and professionalism presented to me by Sherlock Leak Detection!

Overall they did a great job with the hot tub and pool leak repair. No complaints there, but they did use an exterior electrical plug and tripped the breaker and didn’t tell me resulting in some things turned off that needed to have power like a mini fridge. That’s why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5.Reply to Owner response - The plug you used was no longer working, it would seem you would have noticed your equipment quit working and had to change plugs to continue. No one else was there or had used the plug and it had never happened before or since.

Concerns with the amount of water I was adding to the pool in recent months. And since I was getting ready to remodel the pool Lanai dock area oh, it seems like a good time to have a leak check done. Sherlock came out on time as expected, the technician was very experienced and knowledgeable. He covered everything he was going to do and how any billing would work before he started. As it turns out, I had three very small leaks mostly around the edges of tiles or inlets, that he felt the resurfacing would take care of. he did discover a bad valve on one of the pipes to the hot tub, and recommended that we replace that. a very pleasant interaction with the industry professional, I would recommend Sherlock leak detection highly.

Sherlocks technician, Kevin was on time. We discussed the pool situation a few minutes and he asked several questions. He was very thorough and kept searching until he found the leak. Even though he found the leak he kept searching all other possibilities. He repaired the leak and diagnosed where the bubbles were coming from coming out of the return line. After about an hour, Frank could find nothing leaking (at all the usual spots), I started to second guess myself that there wasnt a leak and just evaporation was causing the frequent filling? Frank then checked the main drain and that was fine he persevered and rechecked tile work on the entry steps and behold a leak was found, which he promptly fixed. Now I havent had to put any water in the pool now, for 2 weeks! Thanks, Good Job!

I had been 2 months trying to figure out if I had a leak issue with my pool, and/or my solar panels or had just been losing water through evaporation. Fantastic job on my pool at a good price. They found a crack in my skimmer and a couple of tiny leaks around my return jets. I highly recommend this company.

My pool was installed in 1968. I have had two separate issues, the first minor (the plumbing was clogged with leaves) and second more severe. With the 2nd issue they discovered any place that could leak was. All the grout around the tile, skimmer, inlets and main drain had to be ground out and replaced. Sherlock did an excellent job and brought my 1968 pool back to life. Thank you for my new pool.
