So, where do I begin. First Ben was professional and wonderful to deal with, from design to completion of our pool. He answered all of our concerns, kept in communication with us, kept sending us pictures and updates while we were out of state. When our pool was completed and we moved on to putting in the alarms in, setup our wifi and pump controls, we dealt with Corey and Patrick. Both were awesome and helpful. Superior Pools built my pool back in 2017 and has provided service since that time. We have been extremely happy with the pool as well as the service.Recently, our pool tech began noticing that the calcium levels were rising and getting extremely high. Having a pool built is a huge investment in time and, of course, money. After reading online reviews and comments on the app Next Door we chose Superior Pools. Their quality and service was exceptional and they finish their pools on time.From the very first time we spoke with Ben from Superior on the pool build we found that he was most knowledgeable always offering suggestions on how to maximize what we wanted from a pool. Desiree and I are swimmers so we wanted a rectangular shaped pool. Ben encouraged us to research their website. He mentioned their site had several videos about the pool build process and testimonials from other buyers who chose Superior Pools. We followed that guidance as we had never built a pool before.From the beginning Ben was transparent about the timing, what to expect and what was included in the price. He told us at the very beginning to expect forty work days to complete the pool from dig date to fill date. He told us Sarasota County was slow to review permit requests and he helped us with the docs that our HOA needed. Ben also explained he would be our service person from beginning to end. Any questions we could come to him.Once the approvals came in our dig date was set. We met Larry Lipke one afternoon, and he as the Construction Mgr, was in charge of the build and we could call or text him any questions or, of course, reach out to Ben.Our pool build took forty-five work days and finished early December. A tropical storm came through SWFL about day thirty and a week was lost. So our pool was five days late, but with the weather issues and covid I think that is really good. After all said and done, communication was good. I had to remind myself that our pool was not the only pool being built, and weather and construction issues are always being dealt with.We were home watching our pool build from the very first day. The work teams were always responsive to our questions and we felt work quality was exceptional. We researched everything we could on materials and equipment. We saw that the pool equipment, Pentair, was the best and we visually inspected everything. We were very pleased with the tile and grout work. We had paid for upgraded travertine and asked for a few pieces for personal cosmetic reasons to be swapped out after they were laid. No problem.Once we made it to pool fill date we got very excited. About the same time as pool filling we were asked for our punch list. Larry met with us to review about noon two days after the fill. There were about twelve items and perhaps half were true issues. Others were questions on things remaining to be done. Later that same day Larry already had one of his guys stop by to start working them. The issues were very minor like we wanted more tile swapped out, grout cleaned up on a couple pieces of tile, some grout cement in the skimmer area. I will say, Superiors responsiveness to our concerns has been the most impressive of this whole pool build process. Not once did they come back and balk at anything we asked about. Always quick response. The service we have received from Pat & Cory for start up has also been great. You ask them questions and they answer or follow-up. I hired Superior Pools in spring of 2019. Once permits were approved Superior took over. The entire construction phase took less than 30 days. Their work crews showed up each morning and did not quit until dusk. Everybody knew their responsibilities and communicated with me daily. I had two other pools built since moving to Florida in 1992, neither company gave me the customer service and quality workmanship that i received from Superior Pools. We want to share our positive experience in building a pool with Superior Pools of Southwest Florida. We are recent Florida transplants having relocated from northern Virginia. We bought an Open Concept - Great Room layout new construction home and knew we wanted to add a pool and spa in the back yard as soon after Settlement as possible to start enjoying our newfound outdoor Florida lifestyle.Of course our home builder offered a “pool package” that may have been a little easier to wrap into the home buying and building process, but the “package” didn’t really allow for any customization and frankly came with a pretty hefty price tag considering what you get; a basic shape pool with no real water features or extras, plain pavers, a sub-par enclosure, etc. We wanted more, something special, more of a weekend-worthy retreat. So, during the construction of our new home, we met with a dozen pool builders before selecting Superior Pools for our project.It was clear from the beginning that Superior was a little different – and better, then most other pool builders. Starting at our first meeting with Ben, our designer, he offered an educational approach (not a selling approach) explaining the process and options to consider when building a pool. He showed us pictures of examples and samples of products – where we could see and touch everything. He took our thoughts, priorities, and hand-waving and converted it all into interactive 3D color renderings while we sat in his office. Ben also encouraged us to go out and observe other pools being built near our home. So, we did. We went to several projects underway by Superior Pools and other pool builders. There was always activity underway at pools under construction by Superior and their crew was polite and responsive. Superior pools complete quality pools built in 30 – 40 days! Often there was no activity for days and weeks at a stretch for other pool builders and when there was something going on, it was usually by sub-contractors who offered little interest in our observations and inquiries. Our confidence factor began to waiver in other pool contractors the more we watched and learned. So after weeks of due diligence researching all the pool companies (and maintaining contact with Ben who remained patience with us throughout) we signed a Contract with Superior to build our pool even before we closed on our new home. Superior worked with us to get everything set up to hit the ground running as soon as we closed on our new house. Then we had a few delays with our home builder that pushed our planned closing date. Superior worked with us as the date fluctuated. Finally, within a week of settlement on our new home, Team Superior started our pool build. The professional crew was always friendly, approachable, professional and displayed genuine pride in craftsmanship; they were more like artisans constructing a work of art in our backyard – they were, and they did! The same core group of about 20 showed up daily, they worked diligently together like a well-oiled machine. You could tell they have been together as a team for years – they were not subcontractors nor day labors like I had seen on site of other pool builder projects. They completed our pool in 28 days. We were swimming in our new pool within a month of moving in! Thanks for the hard work and dedication! I wanted to wait 6 months or so after the completion of our pool to rate this company, to be sure that I gave an accurate review of their services from start to finish. From the very beginning Superior Pools has been absolutely, 100% amazing! Ben designed our pool and the company completely transformed our backyard into an oasis. I highly recommend Superior Pools and am so glad that we had the opportunity to have them recreate our backyard, which has really transformed our home. We have Superior maintaining the pool, as well, and they have been fantastic with all communication and small issues that have arisen. I was extremely disappointed. I called to have someone come out to our home for a quote. I was told their turnaround time for quotes was 24 to 48hrs for a call back. I get that they are extremely busy. However, when you call after a week with no response and are told that someone will contact you back. I am at week three from my initial call and still no response other than I am truly sorry. I have called once a week to check in and still no response.

Our vision was a northern natural stone pond, not just a pool. We checked with multiple pool companies and Superior was the only one that didnt say we cant do that!Quality work, quality equipment, and one of the hardest working team of employees, in the business. We had our existing pool renovated and our lanai resurfaced with travertine tile. The construction men are the hardest working men in Florida. Temperatures in mid 90s every day and they are using jack hammers and other very heavy equipment day after day, amazing men. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the owner is unbelievably responsive. We had several other estimates for this job, all others were less, but we liked the fact that workers are not subcontractors. They certainly live up to the name Superior.

All I can say is WOW!!! Superior Pools and their team rocks! I have to admit that at first I was concerned about the pricing of a Superior Pool but after spending a few hours with Seth and getting more information on the types of material they used I made the leap and hired them. I have not regretted picking them at all, the craftsmanship is exceptional and the teams were outstanding. All of them were courteous, friendly and professional. It took them all of 1 month and 1 day from the time they started digging to completion. Never a wasted moment by anyone. My thanks to Seth, Larry, Anthony, Chris, Josh and the rest of the crews.

We had a call with them, sent them everything requested (survey, design idea we had, etc) they said they would get back to us in a couple days and schedule a zoom consultation. A week passed no response, we followed up TWICE no response. I wouldnt personally recommend them based on our experience. I appreciate everyone is busy right now, but there is never an excuse for ignoring.

Superior Pools of Southwest Florida builds SUPERIOR pools!!  Have you ever watched Home Sweet Home on YouTube featuring Superior Pools!!  I dreamed of having a Superior Pool built but never thought it would be possible UNTIL I called them!!  The process from start to finish was friendly, professional and very coordinated!  Every step of the process occurred on the day I was told they would be there from digging, to inspections, to pavers, etc.  Our project manager became like a family member and was at my beckon call with immediate callbacks, answers and resolutions.  Our pool is not the backyard oasis like those shown on Home Sweet Home, but our backyard has been transformed to a fun place for our 3 boys and their friends as well as a place of tranquility during sunset hours with its deck jets, waterfall and sunshelf.  It is our OASIS!!  Superior Pools do some things no other pool company does and I highly recommend this company to build you backyard dream.

We have just completed the design and color selections for our new pool and spa. The construction phase will begin in January after the complete demo of our existing pool. Last summer we bought a new home in Sarasota. We decided to build a pool to complete the property. I interviewed four pool companies and decided on Superior Pools. I am so glad we chose them. You will find less expensive pools but not with the quality, concern and craftsmanship that Superior provides. They are absolutely the best we could find and we are so happy with the result! They are flexible and helpful and know their business inside and out. We love them!

We didnt make this decision easily; we discussed pools, made spreadsheets and talked to neighbors...then we called four different pool companies. We were told that Superior would probably be the most expensive, but when I added all the individual components to my spreadsheet (the equipment that would be used,) everything was at a different quality level than the competitors.When we found that Superior doesnt have a lot of subcontractors, that weighed in our decision.Every part of the project was completed timely, neatly cleaned up and Superior went above and beyond to surpass our expectations. They finish around 40 days as promised, unlike the other pool builders in my neighborhood. At first, we were a little hesitant of them being higher priced than other pool builders, but now that we see all that was involved, we would have paid more if we knew what we know now. Superior built our pool a little over a year ago. So glad we did it then. Don’t know what we would do without it during Red Tide and now during COVID19. Seth was our design consultant. Stayed up n constant contact with us. Was easy to reach. Chris was one of the guys building the pool. Even tried to help us to save our magnolia tree. Josh was the pool master, taught us how to take care of our pool. If I had or have questions about pool care, can always text him. I clean my pool and filter myself.Superior is on the pricey side but it shows in their work. Pool was built on time, I think ahead of schedule even.

Exceptional experience with Superior Pools. From the design phase through completion, the process was smooth and fast. Danielle and the managers took the worry out of building our pool. We just contracted with Superior Pools to have our pavers cleaned and re sanded. Pete did an excellent job and we couldn’t be more pleased. Superior Pools is, by far, the best pool builder in the area. One of the things that makes makes them stand out from the rest is their ability to produce unique and beautiful designs. Ben Cook has just designed my 2nd pool and I am just as thrilled with this design as I was with the first. Ben is able to utilize your space and give you what you want within the parameters you need. Another reason I chose them the second time around is because of their high quality standards. The materials and workmanship are second to none. I also used Superior to service my first pool on a weekly basis. It was always beautifully maintained and any issues were rectified immediately.

Our experience with superior pools was beyond expectations! Ben, their design/sales manager made the process very simple with the 3-D experience. We were able to customize our needs and wants before even starting the process, which was very important to us. Ben thought of things we had not even considered, offered solutions, and gave us samples to make the process very painless When they gave us a completion date of 40 days, we were very skeptical. But, from the moment they started mapping our yard for the pool, till the completion date, the service was consistent, quick and professional. Our project was completed in 22 days!! Ben, Jon and Josh were responsive and accommodating to every question and concern we had; even today. The quality surpasses their competition, bar none. We were so impressed with the process, we are continuing our pool service through superior. The entire team from concrete, too plumbing, did a great job and worked very well together. We were very pleased with all aspects of the project to install a pool, patio, and screen cage. The professionalism of the workers, sales force, supervisors and owners was very high. An example of this was that at the end of each work session, the site was cleaned up and made to look as presentable as possible during construction. The project was completed within 30 days. We were kept informed as each step was completed and of the timeline for the next phase. After completion, our concerns and questions have been addressed within a timely fashion and resolved without conflict. We highly recommend Superior Pools.

My pool was built by Superior Pools of SW Florida about one year ago. I love my pool and try to enjoy it every day! In this day and age, it is difficult to find companies or people that stand behind their work and/or product. Most companies are long on promises but short on follow through. Superior Pools is NOT one of those companies.We contracted with Superior Pools to build a new pool in our very small backyard. Dani, our designer, listened to our needs and provided a fantastic 3D drawing of our prospective pool. Once we signed off on the project and the permit was approved, work started very quickly. We were amazed at the punctuality and knowledge of the Superior work crews. They remained on schedule and completed the job on time, perhaps even a bit ahead of schedule.After the pool was built, Josh and Pat were willing to hold our hand through learning how to use our new equipment and clean our new pool. They made it easy for us to understand, so for that we are thankful.To us, having someone that stands behind their work and keeps their word on time and cost is priceless. Superior pools is nothing short of incredible, their level of detail is amazing. From Danielles design to ensure we maximized space to the tile and decking crews everything was ensured to be perfect. Larry and Anthony ensured any questions we had were answered immediately and kept us in the loop through the process. Their staff are always willing to help, like Pat who does their start ups answered immediately whenever a question was asked even after hours. Their pool cleaners like DeSean and Corey are friendly and answer any concerns while onsite. I would recommend anyone to sit with them when pricing as they were comparable in price to others but offered much better equipment and materials than their competitors. Our pool was built during one of the most troubled times with covid19 and superior still completed the job on time and we were swimming in 40 days. Watching the pool come to life step by step is just as incredible from initial design and then each day seeing your backyard turn into a your dream.

I had called into Superior Pools with a few questions on a house I was interested in buying. I was not sure if a pool could be installed or not. Kayla answered the phone and was able to answer all of my questions. I did not have a survey of the property. She offered to call the county to see if they had a survey. Within the same day she called me back to let me know that a pool could be installed. Unfortunately the buyer did not accept our offer on the house. Kayla told me when I find another house that I am interested in to give her a call and she will again help us if needed. I can say I never had a receptionist go above a beyond for me on the first call. Just by this first phone call shows me what type of company they truly are. Superior says it all!

These guys are THE BEST! We researched 7 different pool companies before we decided on Superior. Seth, our sales guy and main contact, was so proactive we could not believe it. Always easy to reach and fast to respond. He was very courteous with a nice sense of humor, yet knew the answers, or quickly got the answers, to every question we had. Every crew that showed up for construction was very polite. It is very easy to tell that the crews are staffed with skilled tradesmen, every man has his job and jumps right on it. PLUS a supervisor was at our house every single day doing progress follow up and site safety checks. Our pool was specially designed to fit our narrow space and Seth took the time to stop by and design the pool for us, then saw it through for us. Between ground breaking and swimming in the pool...29 days! Other companies told us 4-6 months due to subcontractors. Superior has their own crews or crews that work primarily for them...the crews care about their work and the crews show up every day and on time!!! Superior Pools did an incredible job installing our pool. Our salesman was more than just a salesman, he approached our sale more as a friend to guide us through picking out the many options and design, and also helped us through the installation process. The most amazing thing was that not only was the pool installed on schedule, but that it was done in a fraction of the time that other pool builders had quoted. The installation crew was superb. They are very good at what they do. Their attention to detail and devotion to doing the job right is to be commended. Weve had our pool almost 2 years now and love it. it still looks and runs like new. The pool maintenance crew stops by every week to clean the pool, adjust the chemical balance of the water, and clean the filter, and emails me a report on what was done and chemicals added, etc.. Superior Pools is a very well run and conscientious company. I highly recommend them.

I have built not one, but two pools with Superior. What actually makes them great is their exceptional SERVICE and they are always there when there is a follow up concern. My most recent experience was with Anthony Quackenbush. Anthony worked with us when we had an issue with our lanai flooring. He quickly evaluated the problem area, and without prompting, worked with us to repair the affected area. He did it quickly, efficiently, and in a friendly manner. Exceptional Experience. And frankly I would never even consider another pool company.

Superior Pools just finished remodeling my pool and it is absolutely gorgeous! I am so happy I found such a wonderful company to work with. They included a custom bird mosaic and the guys that put that in did an AMAZING job. It was such a pleasure doing business with them and I am so very thankful for the beautiful job that was done. I researched a lot of pool companies before selecting Superior. Some had only a few reviews, some had a dozen or so, but Superior was the only pool company to have dozens of reviews and ALL were positive. Not so with the other pool companies. Superior uses mostly its own employees from start to finish. Construction delays were nonexistent. They were there when they said they would be. In about 6 weeks after starting, we had a finished pool, cage included. We liked that Superior worked exclusively with Absolute Aluminum to construct the cage - another efficiently-built high-quality job. No waiting on cage construction either - Superior schedules it as part of the construction process.We love the design and function of the pool. The designer will work with you in designing the shape, depth, and materials used in your pool, deck, and cage construction. We were provided with a computer-created image of our house/lot with the pool in place after design. Superior takes care of all permits.The filter/pumps are state-of-the-art energy-efficient devices controlled through your phone via WiFi or cell service. We can start the Spa while we are out and have it at temperature when we get home. Awesome!The entire Superior work force does all in its power to make sure the customer is happy. No problem getting anyone back to address issues that might arise after the customer has paid in-full. The company’s owner takes special interest in making sure the customer is happy, during and after pool installation. We are also very pleased with the service agreement and staff.Everyone has been very responsive and does excellent work. I highly recommend Superior to build your pool! Top notch.

Superior Pools truly goes above and beyond.They put in my pool 3 years ago. I was not in the state when it was put in, but they made me feel like I was right there. B who helped design the pool was always communicating with us and even sent pictures of every stage. Pool went in ahead of schedule. Anthony their scheduler is super nice and makes sure workmen come out when needed, even 3 years later. When our pavers settled in a section they came out and fixed free of charge. They even power washed my 1200 sq ft cage at no charge one time. Superior pools may not be the cheapest pool installer, but you are getting so much more than just a company to put in a pool. You are getting a relationship that endures for years because they truly stand behind their customers.

We had Jon and his incredible crew put in our pool last summer. They did a 3D layout for us so we could see exactly what it would look like. They completed the work efficiently without any delays. The pool is absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted! Josh did an excellent job with pool school, and we felt confident taking over the maintenance of the pool. The service is excellent, Jon and his team were always available for questions, and Jon helped us with color selections. 5 stars, absolutely recommend them, awesome job!

I believe we were not wrong when we chose Superior Pools for this great investment. Superior Pools did a wonderful job. I still enjoy the beauty of our pool. Every time I swim, I cant ignore the beautiful fish tile on the pools floor. Every time I hear someone talking about their pool, I mention Superior Pools in case they need to resurface theirs. Today, I was swimming and it was raining hard (After working on my greenhouse it was well deserved) I was swimming and thanking God for this blessing. Have enjoyed our pool for almost a year now. Its perfect! The project from start to finish went like clockwork. All phases of construction were completed on time, even in bad weather. The crew continued their work on the pool during a rain storm. They formed a tent over the project with a sheet of plastic and used a blower to keep it up. Ingenious! They never wasted any time. We are in Florida only during the winter, so we depend on Superior Pool to take of the pool in our absence. The pool looked as nice this fall as it did when we left in the spring. Great job Guys! All the staff at Superior is very friendly and helpful. While they are working to put your pool in they keep your yard very clean. They work long hours to get your pool done as quickly as they can while paying attention to every detail of your pool. They are very helpful from the time you go in to pick your pool to after your pool in complete to make sure everything is working well and if you need any help with anything they are there and answer you back quickly. I would highly recommend Superior Pools to anyone that wants a pool added to their house. They go above and beyond when they build their pools.
