I have been seeing Tom since at least 2004.When I say there is NOT a better mechanic in Florida than Tom Joyce, I absolutely mean it.He is honest & one of the most ungreedy humans on the mechanic world I have EVER come across.He is patient. Fair with pricing and he never tries to milk you for money. He tries his absolute best to be the most reasonable he can be.His front staff is wonderful, his workers are friendly.Absolutely will always suggest him even if it means taking a longer drive to get to him. Tom Joyce Automotive is one of those things almost as rare and hard to find as a unicorn-- an honest, caring mechanic. They saved me about six hundred bucks on a recent brake job, compared to what another local shop wanted to charge me, and on another occasion squeezed a quick tire job in on a busy day, even having me come at closing (which was most convenient for me) so they could stay late and get it done. They have earned both my respect and my future business.

This place is so great!! The staff is awesome, they are very nice and informative!!! The first time I came here about a week ago I brought my car in for some new tires and an oil change. While I was there they noticed I had an oil leak! So they recommended I get it fixed but what I loved about that is they were NOT pushy like most places, didn’t just go ahead and do it!! They talked to me and explained what the issue was AND showed me. SO I brought my car back in today and got that fixed. I wasn’t there for hours and was done at a very reasonable cost! I will definitely be bringing my car here from now on and I recommend this place to everyone!!!!!

They let me come by their shop the same time I called them...I spoke with Tom and they immediately took a look at my car...it was a very easy fix. They were very honest with me and showed me the problem. On the recommendation of my neighbor, i called to make an appointment regarding an issue I was having with my Ford Explorer. I called, and the lady receptionist said just to bring the car down and they would hook it up and let me know the problem I was having. Sure enough I did, and they told me - they also indicated what I thought was a problem really wasnt. The owner then explained it to me throughly. When I wanted to pay for his time - which was about 30 minutes, he said you owe me nothing. BOY HOWDY, THIS BUSINESS HAS EARNED MY RESPECT AND I WILL BE TAKING MY CARS THERE FROM NOW ON FOR SERVICE !! WAY TO GO TOM JOYCE !!

This may be a bit lengthy, however, quite worth the effort, and, worth the read, in applauding the work of Tom, and his staff. Prior to Tom Joyce working on my work vehicle, it had been to 3 other top mechanics, including the dealership. It had been experiencing an electrical issue, which the previous 3 had thought they had conquered, only to find out quickly, they had not. Each of the other 3 places, had multiple opportunities to have a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opportunity to figure out; none was successful. I took my receipts to Tom, of the work that had been done by others, so as to not duplicate efforts. Tom and his staff meticulously, and patiently, did their magic, and, identified where the problem was originating from, and created a resolve. So far...so good! However, above and beyond the fact that their stick-to-it-iveness was the key in locating the issue, Toms customer service, and communication, as well as his staff, was extraordinary. This was my first experience with Tom Joyce Automotive, but it certainly will not be my last. Thank you, Tom, and staff!

Had a pull to the right while braking in my Wrangler. Toms garage was recommended, so made my appt. Explained the problem, and told him the brake caliper might be bad and would like it replaced (Ive worked on my own vehicles since I was 16, but my tools are in storage). He interjected it might be the hose. (Which would be a much cheaper fix). I agreed and when he inspected my vehicle, it was just the hose. He couldve up charged me for additional unnecessary work, but didnt. Honesty is rare anymore, so he gets 5 stars.
