Unbelievable customer service!! I went to Tuffys a few months back had the best quality service and customer service. I sent my mom there a few weeks ago for a battery and she was amazed by the honest and great customer service. (I didn’t think it was possible to put the words honest and mechanic in the same sentence 😜) Today my mom stopped by for a tire patch and ended up having a pretty serious emergency with her car. They were AMAZING!! They didn’t even have to be because the car was being towed back to the dealership with the warranty. Thank you so so much for taking such great care of my mom. You’re the best!

Tuffy went that extra mile with me! I had a charging problem and they did a comprehensive system check. They spent a good deal of time and wouldnt except a payment for their services. Later on I asked them to replace the alternator and they expeditiously replaced it, as promised. The cost was unbelievably low! Tuffy will be me go to repair shop from now on!

This Tuffy, 6/10/21Actually has the professionalism and care that you dont often see. they make the time to ensure that you have their knowledge and confidence .I took my vehicle in when they just opened, I needed brakes . My wife had a funeral to organize( her brothers, which they did not know ) the man in front( I forgot his name) let me know that there was some 8 am appointments and would have to see how to work me in. The GM /Boss( I assume was in the back office listening, just doing his part at tuffy) The man in front does not need supervising since he is a mechanic of 20 + yrs ( he says, I believe him ) and professional. Anyway the Mech/Tech took my car in the garage in minutes of being there. The GM/Boss ( guy from the back ) was floating in the garage making things happen by his presence ( it works ).The man from the front desk sees my wife show up to pick me up and he approaches us to chat more of the situation and she gets the Low down on her car. We are truckers and see the country being OTR and talk about him being from Wyoming and share stories. Anyway I am impressed and so happy they are right down the street from my house. I pulled in with basically a tire ready to be completed flat, while driving I must of punctured one of my new set of Goodyear tires. I walked in and explained what was going on, without hesitation the manager ( great guy ) told me to leave it running and one of the service guys took it into the shop, removed the tire from the rim and patched it. So in a 1/2 hour I went from potential disaster to being so so thankful.Unexpectedly I went to pay and was told, “you’re all set”.......There is goodness still in such terrible times!Thank you guys!!!

This Tuffy location is the best one in SWFL. Its very difficult for me to trust certain chain businesses because I have been burned before. Rest assured this Tuffy in Port Charlotte is professional, on time and skilled on the work they perform. Most important of all the prices wont bankrupt you.

Took my friends car in. They put it right on the lift, let us look under the car and showed us all the oil leaks. They could have easily gotten money out of us, instead they were honest and said its time to start looking for another car. Honesty from a mechanic is always the best type of honesty. My friend definitely appreciated the honesty even though he hated hearing the bad news. Definitely recomend Tuffys to anyone wanting an honest shop. These type of shops are extremely rare.

I just moved to town and chose Tuffy Tire because of the reviews. After having a great experience with the manager Chuck, I will be a recurring customer. A few days after my tire was replaced I noticed all my other tires had different air pressure. I went back and Chuck explained they dealer over inflated my lease so he leveled them all out for me. That was the kind of nice gesture that made me want to come back.

Glenn is truly a professional. He dignoised the problem, although I did not want to here the result, found out what it would cost and about how long to repair. Great place and will use again.

I have been going to Tuffys Tire and Auto in Port Charlotte for over 3 years. I first went for an oil change, the price was great, so I thought Id try them out. Chuck helped me, he was kind, friendly, trustworthy and efficient. Those are important traits to me. I have not gone to another mechanic since. Two cars later, a BMW 2 series and Audi, I have purchased 8 tires, 4 for each vehicle, brakes, every oil change and other services. Called about the oil change add I got in the mail. Very friendly customer service so I made an appointment for that afternoon. To my surprise my experience form the time I walked in till they finished the oil change I felt relaxed and relived that they took great care with a new customer.

Had a good experience with Chuck. He took great care of me but when he is off no one wants to answer the phone.Been calling for over an hour. The other 4 places I called answered with no problem. Guess I will take my business elsewhere.

The guys at Tuffys are amazing. Usually, women get treated differently at auto mechanic shops. That isnt the case at Tuffy Tire in Port Charlotte. I took my vehicle to them to check out an ABS issue it was having. They took a look and knew right away what the problem was. The best part is that it wasnt going to cost four figures to repair (like another shop nearby wanted). Nor did they try up-selling me anything. Impressed with the quickness of the diagnosis and repair, I came back a week later and purchased a new set of tires. They deserved the business and I am happy to have found out about them. I moved here three years ago and received an oil change coupon and figured I’d try this place out. Being a female going to a mechanics shop alone i have had my experience of people trying to take advantage of me and charge me an arm and leg for repairs that don’t need to be done. Chuck and the boys saw my brakes were awful and were awesome with showing me exactly what was wrong and helping me out. They are all great guys who really care about their customers and truly cared about my safety. I have lived here for three years now and refuse to take my car anywhere else. If you’re looking for a group of people who are trust worthy and Truly care about your safety and do a great job this is the only place to go. These guys have no idea how much i appreciate them! This is the best place I know of for honest repairs and advice. Chuck, at the front desk, is awesome with advice, taking care of business and people. They have saved my family thousands. We have had dealers quote $1200+ and they fix it for $500. The waiting area is clean, with TV, assorted magazines, and even an expresso machine for free. They are prompt on service and getting you in and out.

My husband and I have been bringing our car here for some years now. We always receive great service and most of all they are honest and up front. I always tell everyone I know to go to Tuffy in Port Charlotte if they want things done right.

Fast, friendly and fair pricing. I took my flat tire to a competitors store TiresP..s for repair. After waiting for 45 minutes I was told the flat couldnt be repaired and they tried to sell me new tires. Chuck and the crew at Tuffy completed the job in minimum time. Great Business.....

I was in the area on my motorcycle and noticed the clutch cable needed to be adjusted in a bad way. There was no way that I would make it back to my house to make the repair myself before ending up broke down on the side if the road. Im very mechanically inclined and perform most of the work on my bike. What I needed was two 1/2 open end wrenches. My search for a nearby auto shop was on and I was hoping I could find a place that would let me borrow the wrenches I needed for just 5 minutes. Lucky for me I found Tuffy. The manager spoke with one of his mechanics who immediately came to my aid. He provided me with the two wrenches I needed, so I could make the clutch adjustment myself. He stayed there with me and even asked me to be careful to not scratch my gas tank. I couldnt have been more appreciative. Thank you for your help Tuffy Port Charlotte, I made it back home with no more clutch issues. Ill be in for service on my truck soon. You have earned my business with your hospitality alone. The reason I wont rate them a fiveWell I waited for my car and watched how my car sat there for over 40 minutes and no one working on it!When I asked the manager he said the rotors that were ordered were for a deluxe model of my car and not the standardBut funny I never saw anyone delivering any thing after my car was already up in the air. And the mechanic did a ladies oil change while my car was waiting for them so they could charge me 2.2 hours of labor! The whole time I was thereNever ever go back and my estimate was For 680 I paid 693 and the manager had the bills to tell me he gave me a 75 $ discount woman be careful they will rip you off just like sears got caught doing years ago!!!
