This is by far the best auto repair shop I have been to! They do such a great job, have great prices and friendly staff! They truly care about providing the best service for the customer. I will only be bringing my car to this shop for all its repairs or maintenance!

Recently had check engine light come on in my vehicle. Called my trusted auto repair shop Complete Auto Repair. I have used this shop for the past 4 years. Mary was able to schedule an appt. for me right away. My vehicle was diagnosed by mechanic, Lance and a new part was installed all within 90 minutes. Ive had Complete Auto work on several of my vehicles no problem with the service except when I went to sell one of my vehicles Complete Auto wrote down the wrong mileage. When I went to sell the truck Carfax had the wrong mileage. Cant sell this truck at this time due to the wrong mileage written down from Complete Auto. Thanks a lot Ron. Had the oil changed and tires rotated on my wifes 2013 MX 5. He explained that the tires really didnt need to be rotated as they were wareing evenly, checked the brake pads and rotors all looked great. This was my first visit and I expected as in the past repair shops would try to sell you something you didnt really need, not the case with this company! Im definitely a new Customer, will be bringing my 2019 Silverado 3/4 ton diesel for any maintenance.

I brought two cars in recently for an oil change and filter and overall check up, and also to check out the cabin filter which had rodent issues. Ron was great and scoped the filter fan to make sure nothing had fallen into it. I find there work to be very reasonably priced and excellent. I recommend them whenever I can to others.

I recently started taking my vehicles to Ron and after 2 repairs thought he was a good honest guy UNTIL today! My truck needed a intake manifold and I was quoted 1850.00 before taxes. It’s an old truck but was well taken care of. I was hesitant to do the repair due to the cost and high mileage on my truck.Ron agreed and even offered to possibly buy it from me. I called my father as I sometimes do for advice and he contacted his mechanic in Ft MyersMcAllisters auto repair which has been around for 50+ Years.They said we can fix it for 750! That is a difference of 1100 dollars! Ron may be a very good mechanic however not good enough to pay 1100 more then his competitors. All these positive reviews are because people don’t do their homework and assume he’s a nice honest guy just like I did until now. I didn’t want to judge him until my truck was inspected to be sure the price was accurate.My truck was towed there this morning fixed by 4:00 and my total bill was 756. You should all be wise and shop his prices they are far from fair!!

I needed a clutch on my 2002 Mustang. After checking reviews, I called and made an appointment. The diagnosis and estimate was reasonable, so I had them do it. It was done on time. When I picked it up, everything was back together perfectly. Just as clean as I left it. The drivability was better than its ever been. I have had it back for about a month now, and everything is running perfectly. I am very happy with the job and the way the front office staff handled every interaction. I am glad I found a good place for service and repair.

Took our Nissan in for what we thought was a transmission issue, turned out to be the catalytic converter, a much less expensive fix. They called to explain the problem in detail and the cost. Honest and friendly, an all around nice place and quick service too. As a woman, taking your vehicle to the mechanic is not always a pleasant experience but I felt very comfortable at Complete Auto Repair and would highly recommend them.

We are new to Port Charlotte and didnt know where to take our car for repair. So we stopped by and talked to Ron about the issue we had with our 2001 Firebird. He took his time to discuss it with us. Ron explained that he had the top of the line equipment to diagnose our problem. We were able to drop it off that night and they found the problem the next morning, they called us and explained the problem, ordered the part and had it fixed the following morning. Great customer service skills at first. My mother called in describing everything wrong with my car and he explained a lot of things to her and even offered me a great offer. Yet I called in to make a time to drop it off and they gave me a day and I called that day to make sure everything was a good to go and was pushed off a couple more days after already waiting almost a week. We had already turned down the other offices expecting this place to be great just to be turned down all over again.

We took our good old 2002 Toyota Camry into Ron at Complete Auto. We had been looking for a shop to thoroughly look over our car and take care of all the issues we had neglected for the last several years. Rons staff identified a number of issues {issues that our previous shop had been asked to look into... but never located} and had our car running like brand new. I did have a small billing issue {caused by a new software glitch} that I addressed with Ron. He reviewed my invoice, understood what had caused the error, and made it right. Based on our experience, Complete Auto Repair gets our highest recommendation.

Be careful what you sign or supposedly agree to.. I had a transmission built a while back with a 2 year full coverage warranty. Had an estimate which they never called qnd went $600 over which I was forced to pay. Low and behold 2 years to the day the transmission broke again. 2 years and a week later when I finally found my paperwork I was told pretty much screw you you can pay for another transmission.. We can help you out on the cost a few hundred dollars... I paid 3 x what I should have paid to begin with.. Now I still have this vehicle that still needs to have my transmission rebuilt which I am willing to bet does not have the hard parts that I paid for inside... We will see when I can finally afford to get the transmission redone what they actually replaced with what parts but be careful what you sign and the fine print... Never ever will I use this shop again and I had used them quite a few times before. This was the most costly mistake of my life now I have a $3600 paperweight of a transmission... Thanks for all your great work, maybe if it had not been 2qts. Low on fluid when ai got the truck back the transmission might have lasted more than 13,000 miles.....

Wow! I will never go anywhere else. My Fiat decided to have shifter cable problems (??). I called different shops around Charlotte County and every place I called, I felt rushed off the phone or given attitude saying, its impossible to give you a quote over the phone. Finally, I called complete auto repair. A man named Jim picked up the phone and was so friendly. I felt like he really wanted my business and to help me. He could not completely answer all my questions and asked if he could research them further and contact me afterwards. Within thirty minutes he called me back with answers. I had my car towed to them at 5pm, and by noon the next day I was good to go! And get this; the total bill was significantly less than what I was quoted! What a great surprise! I truly appreciate their honesty and amazing customer service!

I have a problematic electrical problem with my vehicle,took it to complete auto they tried to figure out,3rd garage intown they could not figure out and referred me to go to the local franchise dealer. As he believed it was above their capabilities. The local honda dealership could not find the problem either and sent me away. While this does not sound like a a great testimony for complete auto I did feel that Ron was a straight shooter with me, gave it his best shot and didnt charge for giving it a try,I felt he had integrity and tried his best.i will come back😎👍

Complete scammers 1 they quoted me for over a $1000.00 to fix 2 things and I went and fixed both for $1.00 it was a fuse on the air conditioner and they said it was a sun load sensor I tested the sensor it work fine checked the ac clutch to see if it was spinning it wasnt checked the clutch fuse in the front of the car it was blown they also said the traction control was bad Google traction control and tested it nothing wrong couldnt find codes to show up either that said were there now Im wondering if he did the injection cleaning Im going to check to se if the oil was changed in the morning to see if the filter is clean or dirty Ill never go there or recommend anyone to go here plus I call other mechanics around the area and their rates were much cheaper and better!

I drive a lot for my job and I new the part that was going out in my car. Prior to meeting Ron, I received some off the wall quotes after already knowing the cost of the actual part and how easy it would be to install. Even had one shop double the price and tell me he was only charging me the cost of the part. Lol! Fast forward a month.. I met Ron. Ended up emailing him at 7:50am, he replied at 8:04am and told me to come right in. Told me the ACTUAL price of the part and what he would charge in labor. He and Misty were nothing but kind and helpful! My husbands car is acting up and we have agreed to bring to Ron. He truly cares about his clients. I took my car in (that was barely making it down the road it was sputtering and shaking so bad) at 4:45PM on a Friday evening 15 minutes before Complete Auto was scheduled to close for the weekend. Ron and his crew said we got you covered. My wife picked me up and we went to dinner - BEFORE I COULD EVEN FINISH DINNER, I got a call from Ron at 5:30 saying my car was fixed. He took care of me on a Friday evening after hours and had me fixed up in less than 45 minutes - he has earned my business for life for all of my familys vehicles.

This shop deserves a 6 star rating they are exactly what youre looking for in a home town mechanic shop. If you want expert knowledge fair price repairs and someone who cares about your vehicle as much as you do this is the right place. They took the time to find out what was wrong with my vehicle and didnt play guessing games with expensive parts. Do not be fooled this is not a Jiffy Lube type of place their reputation makes them extremely busy. Youll have to schedule an appointment the get something fixed however in my specific case I had an emergency and was stuck an hour away from home. They took a couple of hours to figure out what was wrong with my 2004 Ford Explorerer. The only thing I can say is that these guys are so awesome they almost made me want to move 2 Port Charlotte. When you go there you will see the thank you cards on the wall and the accolades and awards that are well deserved. Thank you for maintaining the American Standard of business and customer service.

Ron blew my expectations out of the water, with complete, honest, straight forward knowledge and expertise. I am a DIY mechanic myself, and so I know enough to get myself into trouble. After having work done at the KIA dealership for a serious problem which caused my 2008 KIA to loose power while driving. i.e., the ESC and Engine light would appear simultaneously and at other times intermittenly causing loss of power. Supposedly, problem solved. The very next day it happened. Both warnings appeared again and as usual vanished. So much for KIA. After much research Complete Auto Repair was chosen thanks to their outstanding reviews. Thx everyone. Ron after having the vehicle for 2 days, extensive research on this problem, 2 test drives (the 1st no lights came on/the 2nd run BRIGHT RED LIGHTS lit up the dashboard.) HURRAY! Ron then drove 13 miles back with minimal power. The time and effort involved to fix a 9 yr old vehicle successfully might I add just goes to show that Complete Auto repair knows its stuff. We had a full workup on our 2004 Trailblazer. Everything was wrong with it! We told Ron the problems, noises, squeaking, windows not working, gauges going crazy, tires wearing out quickly, ect, ect... Ron had the car for about 4-5 days we picked it up and we had a brand new car in return! I cant thank him enough.The reason we trusted him to do the work is because he had proven himself trustworthy on a previous occasion. We were having a weird problem with the headlights staying on and draining the battery. I usually fix everything myself so I was weary of taking this in for fear that I would get the usual shady mechanic trying to capitalize on me not understanding the mechanical problem. He had the car for hours, diagnosed the problem and since he didnt know if the relay that he put in would fix the problem for good he only charged us $50 for the actual part! Now I knew I had a trustworthy mechanic. The reason I am writing this review though is because after we had him totally re-do our Trailblazer the A/C went out like 3 days later, we called talked to one of his employees which reassured us that it would be no problem. They had the truck for 1 whole day, found that some valve was bad that caused all of the Freon to leak out. They fixed the valve and filled all of the Freon. My wife picked it up....NO CHARGE! It doesnt get any better than Complete Auto Repair!

Best breakdown experience I ever had! Lost my transmission while in Port Charlotte visiting from out of town which should have resulted in a complete disaster. While standing on the side of the road with my 10 year old daughter, I read the Google reviews, contacted Ron and he got me to the shop immediately and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes. Needed a new transmission even though had it replaced in Ocala two months earlier. (This diagnosis was later confirmed in Ocala.) Because of the situation I was in, I would have gladly paid Ron to install a new transmission. Yet, rather than taking advantage of my misfortune, he convinced me to have my vehicle towed back to Ocala so the shop there could do the warranty work which saved me about $3000. Next, he arranged a car rental and tow service and called me several days later to ensure my vehicle made it safely back and had been repaired. By the way, he did not charge me one penny for his time or efforts!I cant thank him enough for his honesty and integrity and I only wish his shop was located in Ocala as he would be my only mechanic!
