Awesome service . After taking my truck to a local chain garage and keeping it for 2 day just to be told they are scared to perform the work I called Race Ready and explained the situation. They said bring it on in . Needed and alignment because I changed tie rods and upper control arms and the ties were pigeon toed . They were very thorough, called with details and explained everything so I understood. Even got a text to click and broke down everything so werent no surprises. Chris was very nice and knowledgeable. My car needed 3 new tires. They won’t push you to get the most expensive parts. They will work around your budge. I went into the shop Friday. On next Monday, they got the tires and installed them. Very efficient!

I was recommended by my brother, who has been going there for some time, he said he trusted the people and work there. I called because I thought I might need a new battery, and after I met the owner and saw the waiting area, I also asked to get an oil filter and oil change. I felt very comfortable, the office and waiting area was clean and very accomodating, offering coffee or water. Great mechanics. Very trustworthy. They wont do anything thats not necessary to get you back on the road unless you want it done. Very reasonable prices and friendly as well. I have used them several times now and havent had one complaint. Definitely worth the drive if you sent as close to them as you want in your mechanic.

Bring my jeep in for one thing, leave with my rock lights no longer grounded and my light bar wiring catching fire. owner Chris goes on to tell me that its impossible for his techs to have messed with it. then went on to say Im blaming him for another shops work because I told him on my first visit that I was looking for a good shop as other have screwed me over. guess he doesnt care about how his customer get treated. and I know he is going to reply to this and blame the people who installed it. as he did to my face. but facts are I brought my jeep in with working rock lights and light bar, and I left with none working rock lights, and a light bar that caught fire. those are the facts. he told me it is a 100% coincidence that my rock lights became ungrounded in the day they had my jeep. cant trust anyone now a days. when you feel like you finally found an honest good shop, something bad has to happen. sad part is, I had well over $5,000 in customization I wanted them to do, that now wont be happening. dont let all the good reviews fool you.

Love Race Ready Auto repair. Race Ready was the only Auto repair shop recommend by all of the auto shops in town such as auto zone.Ive used them for years. They are honest, have competitive prices, and a pleasure to deal with.

I must say that I am very impressed with Race Ready and how they operate. Wish I could give them 10 stars. I had a great experience there. The place is very clean, bathrooms, work area, etc. Waiting room very comfortable with magazines, coffee, water, television and free Wi-Fi. Okay, so I went there for a full vehicle inspection along with a couple of things that I noticed with my diesel truck. Trish, I hope thats her name but forgive me if Im wrong but the lady at the front desk is a sweetheart and pleasant to deal with. She did a great job and was very detailed on the work form. Chris was so professional in every aspect. He sat down with me and explained all details and senerios. Not once did I feel like Im being pressured into doing any work there. I was introduced to Race Ready from a trusted old friend who I called to tow my wife’s jeep when the motor hydro locked.They worked with us and the insurance company to replace the motor. Chris was able to work it so that we received a replacement motor with a 3 year warranty! He also replace the clutch and it is better than brand new! WOW. I then also brought in a Subaru that need AC work done and he was half of what the dealership wanted for parts and labor! Great work, honest, knowledgeable, friendly and timely. We have had 3 vehicles repaired there in a month and are quite happy.

Well I did some research online and and that was it would went in the shop is t looked nice Cris was real nice and the office lady was nice so I gave it a try .I bought a badass infinity g35 with a engine that just been replaced, so I took a chance I brought it to a different place first and they said my transmission was shot, so anyways I brought it to Cris and he went through my transmission and engine and got my car running so perfect I was so happy !!! Then 6 months later needed more work done brought it back to Cris and once again perfect job !!! Well one thing is for sure race ready is my new shop I will bring all my cars there I cant tell you enough how happy I am. Thank you Cris and all the people that work there for you absolutely perfect work !!!

Race Ready will be called RR. First I am a car guy, I worked in auto repair grade school, JR High and High school, as an adult I use shops now.Having multiple cars I took one of my cars to RR to try them out. I knew what was probably going to need to be replaced but also needed a compression test to determine next step, new turbo or new motor and turbo. Was told by RR that the compression test numbers were very low. While still within spec they were low enough that any professional would probably replace the motor. I did not believe the numbers could be so bad. RR said the person who did the test knows what they are doing and does many compression tests. He did state that it was possible that the test was wrong, but said the compression tester was the same they use on other cars and had for years and it was always right, but maybe on my car it was not. I asked him to look into it and he said he would. I asked him to pull the car outside and await further instruction before doing anything else. I called a very well known mechanic in my circle and he stated if the compression test was as bad as stated my motor was shot. He sent me detailed instructions on how to do a correct compression test which I forwarded to RR, with request to test again. RR responded that they knew how to do the test, they work on thousands of cars a year and this is a simple test. As a result, when they re tested my car, low and behold the compression was much higher and my motor was fine. I requested to continue to do what was requested.I will skip to the end when I picked up my car. When I started my car the check engine light came on. Turned car off, went inside and told RR. He said he knew it, and had zeroed out the code previously. Stated they put in a new Rear O2 sensor and it must be bad. Return next week and they will replace it. I returned next week.After looking over car I was told me there were three codes and none of them were their fault. They looked over their work and there was no issue with what they had done. There was nothing they did that would have caused the codes to be showing. RR (Chris, owner) gave three reasons what could be causing the codes. They were so silly I could not believe it. I truly dont know why he thought I would believe them. One was because whoever worked on my exhaust previously pt the rear O2 sensor was way to far back and Chris felt this was also causing a code. It was STOCK exhaust. Chris ultimately though my computer was bad. I new it was not and offered to send it back to company to find out instantly if it was bad or not. He said I should not do that yet. He did offer to tear into it, the car his words and see if they could find out what could be causing the issue. RR was willing to charge me over $100 an hr diagnostic time to try to find the issue. I said no I would take it somewhere else. Took car to Walts automotive in Punta Gorda. Within a few hrs found out, with pictures RR had pinched 3 wires between the bell housing and engine. This was done when they put the bell housing back on. Problem fixed and no check engine light. Look shops are people and they make mistakes. Making a mistake is not the issue, but how you handle that mistake is what counts. A good shop would tear the car apart to find the issue before releasing to the customer. A dishonest shop would do just what RR did. Deny fault but offer to allow you to spend more money to see if the new problem can be found. Stay away from Race Ready, use Walts in Punta Gorda instead. Tell them Allan Densmore sent ya.

I had work done at caliber collision and my tires are wary nowt so I went here caliber gave me the specs what they did for my alignment and the guy took one look and said all the rear is way off so I highly recommend these guys they seem to know what theyre talking about just by looking at the specs he knew what the problem was

I believe that Chris is knowledgable and knows about cars. The place is super clean and has refrigerated water. Too sad that he is such a nice guy and let someone like his assistive personnel is there to ruin his business. Unfortunately I speak with Russian accent and it is never going to be changed. Yet, I am an American Citizen for many years and I am proud of my status!!! I was treated super rude by his secretary Trish. I am a sole privider for myself and a running car is everything to me as food stamps are not an option for me!!! I was offered we get your car fixed or get it off the lot Like within two hours!!! Ten days later my Infiniti has died because of the same problem, no sensors were reactivated. The dealership I took the car second time marked the belt they were supposedely replaced as needing urgent replacement, another dealership marked the alternator Chris place also supposedly replaced as non functioning and looking super old on outside. I lost time in wages, jeopardized my friendship with people who recommended me that place as honest and reliable. I barely walk now and in pain, I have no insurance and I spent money for my medical care towards a new car under warranty in order not to deal with someone like Race Ready any more. Ive Been in Charlotte county since 92 and Know most shops..I chose them to do some work on my 85 Monte ss only because they say they give prices before work is done...dropped my car off didnt hear nothing for 4 days so I called..owner told me they work on a 2 week rotation so the 5 things I want done will take months cause they can only get to it when they can(alignment,hook up new ac lines and power steering lines,fix a misfire, and put in a driver window) plus they cant give prices before the work is done (like his website swore by) so its gonna be there for months and the price will be whatever he says at the end?..lol.all that was one thing,but the way he tried to speak to me made me leave work and go get my damn keys(he wasnt there when I got there )..I wouldnt recommend this shop to fix a bicycle..his 6 years experience of doin oil changes wasnt ready for a classic car..so I say take the pics of those classic cars off ur website and stick to oil changes and stop telling people you give prices before the work..Id also love for him to try and speak to me like that in person
