Shout out to employees at Pit Stop in Port Charlotte, FL. We were stranded with a shredded tire. They provided all services to us. Towing, tire replacement, and car inspection. Their service was friendly, fast, and priced fair. You will want to work with them. Can’t say thanks enough!!

I happened to stop by Pit Stop to check on an oil change. I first was met by the manager named Gil who was very nice to me and accommodated my oil change request. I asked him why he was looking at my tires. He said because you need new tires. I have to admit as a woman I was skeptical but through the oil change and theyre thorough inspection and pictures that they sent me of everything they did they pointed out the dry rot on my tires. They are currently having tire sales cost only until this coming tomorrow. My tires are currently being changed. I have to send a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the young man named Torrey who completed my work yesterday and now mounting my tires on my car. He is exceptional, very knowledgeable, so polite and I see him owning his own franchise someday which he wants to do. The company should be so thankful they have an employee like him. I wish him the best and I plan on keeping in touch with him. Its not often you come across people like this to talk to you like youre not an alien. I have to give a shout out also to Lexi in the front office who explained tires to me like I thought no woman could ever do and she was so knowledgeable and again so friendly. Port Charlotte is so lucky to have this Pit Stop on Kings Highway. I would like to thank each and everyone of you and I wish you the best of luck. Their grand opening is this coming Saturday February 20th.

Went in for an oil change and they did a full vehicle inspection which I did not tell them to do, then they shoved something in my gear shifter so now my button sticks and I can’t get my key out of my ignition. Will never come back unless it’s to tear them a new one for screwing up my car when all I wanted was a simple oil change.

It was great the lady there knew exactly what kind of tires I needed and gave me a great deal I will be going there from now on

I read a lot of reviews before picking some place to take our vehicles for service and repair. What I found on Pit Stop Service Centers brought me to the Port Charlotte Kings Hwy location and I could not have been more satisfied. Several Maintenance items had to be covered. Regular service as well as Manufacturers suggested items. The folks at this center were very Professional and thorough. Mike the service rep also reminded me of some things that I had missed in the manuals. Everything was taken care of quickly and thoroughly and at a very reasonable price. With Mike keeping me informed as the work progressed. So pretty soon I will be taking our other vehicle in for its service. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience.

This new location brought with it an experienced crew, and they shined. I came in with a nail embedded in a tire of my 997 and was quickly met by Gil. Even with a mask on I was greeted with a smile, assessed the situation and collectively agreed on a perfect set of Michelin tires. The crew was introduced to me which brings a lot of ease to who is working on your vehicle. All in all a great experience with future business being very likely.

My husband chose to bring our vehicle in to Pit Stop because of all the high reviews. There was several things that needed to be done to it, but in particular the rear door latch wasn’t working right, so it needed to be replaced. My husband was told they would have to order it themselves from the dealership in order for there to be a warranty, and that the handle kit would cost $515.00. With labor added, the total (for the rear door alone) would be $680.00. My husband went to the dealership the next day and found the handle kit FOR $75.00! Needless to say, we were being scammed. Thankfully we didn’t have the work done and my husband purchased the kit and is installing it himself, because apparently in this day and age it’s hard to find honest people to do the job without taking advantage of others. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this just wasn’t right.

This garage is excellent. The technicians communicate the needs of the vehicle very simply and honestly. If your mother or daughter is in need of a safe garage/mechanic you cannot go wrong with Pit Stop.Dave
