This place has the best customer service by far of any auto shop Ive been to. They are extremely helpful and courteous. The prices are fair and Justin (or Jason) sorry I cant be sure of his name but he really took care of me, even stayed a little late to help me out! Excellent place!

We had a very good experience. These folks are NOT out to deceive or to do unnecessary work. Let me explain. We had a transmission leak. Thats usually big bucks. We were also worried about a coolant leak. Their mechanic found the problem, told us exactly what was needed (much less than we feared), and told us that what we thought was a coolant leak was transmission mess. They performed the repair in very timely fashion. Add to the experience their exceptional courtesy and friendliness. High marks to Taylor Company.

This place is under new management and customer service has taken a hit for sure. New manager spoke about previous manager in an unprofessional manner, couldn’t wait to get back out to his cigarette that I interrupted, and he and 2 employees had no idea how to even reset my oil life. Manager admitted they were googling how to do it. Perhaps I’ll just google how to do my own oil changes from on. Not sure I trust them with my only means of transportation

Went in for a simple oil change but the experience was incomparable really appreciate the Quality and Customer Service you get here from the moment you arrive and start the process you feel welcomed not even as a customer but as a member of something great down at Castrol Express Pomona. After having a frustrating morning trying to get my oil changed, I finally stumbled upon Castrol Express. I was impressed with the reviews, so I called to get pricing information. I had the pleasure of speaking with James, and he gave me pricing for a synthetic oil change, confirmed the type of oil being used, what the service included and an appointment was scheduled for later that day. When I arrived at my appointment, I was quickly greeted and offered to sit in the waiting room. I am very particular about the cleanliness of a shop, and this shop was immaculate. James walked me through the 20 point service inspection and pricing for service (I called and visited 3 shops that morning providing year/make/model and amount of oil needed for my car and was quoted a price over the phone, but when I arrived at the shop, they said they messed up and quoted me $15-$30 more then what was quoted over the phone - this happened 2x with two different Jiffy Lube locations). The pricing was the same as what he quoted over the phone, and then I was provided a 20 point inspection report with pictures of the items that need attention and an explanation of each. I live 15 miles from this shop, but the honesty, consistency, cleanliness and great service well exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Castrol Express Pomona.

Took car there for an oil change. They not only completed the oil changed but a multi point inspection with photos to show me areas of concern and areas that were good. I think that’s pretty in depth for a “quick oil & lube” place. They also took my car even though I didn’t have an appointment, which nowadays seems like everyone requires. Very happy with the whole experience.

Always enjoy mom and pop shops, I used to go to Valvoline for my oil change but was referred to this shop by family and man, am I glad I switched over. This is my second time coming, not only are they friendly but great customer service as well. I felt like I was really being taken care of.

Jim is a great man and well respected with me and my family that take our cars to him. He’s family to me and we treat each other as such. Him and whoever is helping him that day makes sure they do a thorough look of the car to give you update information rather good or bad. I take my car nowhere else but at Castrol!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR TACOMA HERE! Especially if you have a skid plate. These guys literally asked me for an allen wrench and then proceeded to tell me that one of my bolts on my skid were stripped. I am a woman and he tried to explain to me what a stripped bolt is after I called my husband and spoke with him and we both insisted it was not stripped. Guess what? It was not stripped- the bolts do not come out, they just loosen and these professionals had no idea and no allen wrenches. Just to be clear- they never got to change my oil and that is probably for the best.
