It was quick but gentleman told me over the phone it was $45 and when I got there they try to charge me $50

They told me it was smog pump and that they would replace it again but it looks like they didnt still have check engine light on after 2 months with same code. I think that the techs. That work there are not certified

I was referred to this place by this exhaust shop in Upland and Im extremely unsatisfied with this Auto Repair shop. First and foremost, the customer service was horrible! Nam is not personable at all, there was no personal greeting or just making the customer feel welcomed. You can tell it was just about money and business, not pleasant or friendly at all. I took my car to this shop to get a diagnostic due to smoke releasing from my exhaust. I took my car to this shop on Friday May 15, and I was waiting to receive a courtesy call that would make me aware of what problems my car was having, but it was now Monday almost the closing time of the shop and I had to call the shop to check on my car and see if it was ready. The mechanic that answered the phone told me what was wrong with my car and explained to me that I need to get the valve seal repaired/replaced because it was leaking and the repair would estimate to about $1,200. He also made me aware that I could put engine oil in my car for roughly 1-2 years before it becomes a bigger problem. Due to the price and the pandemic, I decided that I would try the oil option for a little while until I could afford the repair. When I went to pick up my car and make the payment for my diagnostic, I asked Nam what type of engine oil did I need for my car and he told me that I need 10W/30, which is not the right oil because it is diesel oil and wouldve damaged my car further. Luckily, the gentleman I met at AutoZone helped me and told me the correct oil for my car was 5W/20. I know I will not return to this auto shop, I am extremely disappointed. I hope this review helps anyone that is looking for a honest, respectful, and pleasant mechanic. This auto shop is not the place you want to go, if you are just getting a smog check it might work out for you, but I couldnt discuss that because that is not the service that was performed on my car.

These guys know what theyre doing.They have smoged my vehicles for the last several years. From an 86 samurai to a 2001Tundra and many more. Always prompt and professional. Dont go anywhere else of you have smog issues. You wont be sorry.

I came here with an oil leak, they fixed ame day and was about 400. Since they said it was timing belt, then same week I still am leaking oil they check my car says it must be oil pump . I payed extra 330 for them to take 7 days to change it. The day of pickup they tell me its not ready the didnt call me I had to call them. I pick it up next day and they had no oil in my car. A total of 730$ and terrible service

Very unprofessional, they were supposed to fix my oil leak, an supposedly they did but had to go back only to find out it was something else an still went back cause now my oil light is on cause something they did.. . An now they wanna charge me for a diagnostic for something they did, an when they changed my oil they didnt put the filter on so all the oil just spit out when I turned car on......

My shop of choice. But they have slow lazy employees.

Took my nissan Altima for a timing chain service gave them everything brand new quality parts and they keep my good parts and used cheap parts and some used parts and there excuse was that they lost my parts but didnt advise me at all work was done already I was so mad they just kept telling me dont worry but I started to look around pointing out everything very dirty and sloppy work missing screws and bolts electric wires hanging from not installed correctly I would not recommend them to my family or friends they are not rueful or professional the good reviews are fake go far away as possible from this shop they do mickey mouse work to your car they dont care about you just your money Im done youll never see me or my people there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be smart go else where.

They offer lifetime warranty on tinted windows and dont honor it. Brought my receipt and said that because it doesnt say lifetime warranty i have to pay again. Bunch of thieves. I will report them.

This place is now called ND Smog & Auto Repair. The service was quick and courteous. They completed my smog check in less than 15 minutes. Ill be taking my cars here from now on.

They are fast and friendly, I went there for a light and brake inspection, the light didnt pass, I didnt notice my licence light wasnt working, so they gave me a great discount for my second inspection. Also even though I had to do the lamp inspection twice, it was still cheaper than other shops around the area.

Dont go this place for smog check. They simply find a reason to abort the smog check cost then try to make money from you by fixing the issue they claimed.

Not a good place charged me 60dllrs for diagnosis on top of the 40dllrs from the smog check that took more then an hour. at the end they gave me a list of upgrades that came up to about 1300 dllrs of overpriced parts my car did not even need in order to pass smog check

I am not member of family nor a friend, but I went with my car on Sunday and did the smog very quick and it passed. Yes, the old guy is kind of grumpy but he did his job very profesionally

The Asian guy said my engine was bad my catalytic converter was not working and my timing was off. Then he charged me $40 to do a diagnostic. I take my car across the street and to two different places and both pass my car for smog and said the engine was in good condition.

Do not go to this place. I went for a smog and the old grumpy man that does some of the smogs when under the hood and messed with my timing so I wouldnt pass. Then they tried to tell me I needed cat and timing belt among other things and tried to get me to fix for 700 then they charged me 60 bucks because they had to do a diagnostic they claimed. I went to another place they adjusted my timing for free and I passed smog no problem! ! Beware of these scammers they will mess with your car!!!
