Absolutely LOVED how my hair turned out!!! Jorge was fantastic and made sure that I was on board every step of the way! He was very gentle with my hair and scalp the whole time. You could definitely tell he has a passion for making hair look amazing! Everyone in the salon was also very friendly and helped each other out. There was a sense of calm and experience throughout the whole salon.

I requested a trim as my ends were quite dry and needed some TLC. The picture on the left was what I was given the first time I left. I unfortunately was unable to see the choppiness of the layers due to the lighting. I requested to come back in to have it fixed and they told me they didn’t blend them because my hair was so thin. I then left the second time (right picture) where you can still see how the middle is shorter than the rest. I had two different stylists tell me they couldn’t see any issues and it was because my hair was so straight that it looked that way. I didn’t feel like the salon prioritized my feelings as a customer. To top it off the original 13 minute dry cut was quite pricey in my opinion at $40. I unfortunately will not be returning to this salon.

Oh my goodness, I have nothing but good things to say about this salon! I tasked them with the difficult task of taking red out of my hair, and assisting me with a color change. Anyone who has had a permanent red in their hair knows how difficult it is to get it out. The wonderful receptionist helped me easily book my appointment, assessed all of my needs and questions, and assured me that they were up for the task! She made me feel welcomed, and at ease throughout the whole process. Absolutely wonderful person!! My stylist was Jorge, who was equally as accommodating to my needs. Although he speaks very limited English, he understood exactly what I wanted to accomplish. I will admit, I was a little worried at the idea that I wouldn’t be able to communicate with my stylist, but it was not an issue. He is truly the BLEACH GURU! I have never seen my hair bleached so white! (With no damage!) It was no issue at all to get the pesky red out of my hair, there wasn’t even a TRACE of red by the time he was finished with the bleach process. The color I changed to turned out lovely as well! I am so happy with it! Everyone at the salon was very nice and helpful, and i enjoyed the entire experience. They even offered to help with any future recoloring, which is greatly appreciated! I highly recommend this salon, especially to those like me who like fun crazy colors, and need someone they can trust with the bleaching process. If there was an option of giving less than one star, i would choose that. it was a horrible experience, i went for my haircut and five people experimented on my hair. I don’t know what was happening there, a person came to wash my hair and she left me in the middle some other took from there and she didn’t even wash my hair properly, I could feel the shampoo and when i told they said it was a conditioner and I don’t know what conditioner on earth would have a leather and when i was sitting on the chair . A person there asked me to move to another chair just to make her another customer sit on that and didn’t even thank or told sorry for that and again no one took care of me properly. The steaming machine went off and after some time some random person noticed and rinsed my hair and coming to my haircut, i don’t know whether she even knows how to give a hair cut or not . I explained and showed pictures on how i wanted my haircut . She told she would try and didn’t do how I told her to do when i was explaining she gave me this answer. “I don’t know” and she told me that she will set it up once she finishes blow dry to my hair while she was in the middle of my blow dry she asked me to move to other chair because she wanted to give a haircut to another person and some guy took over my hair to blow dry it. He was doing it forever .it took so long and while i was paying the bill i told them I wasn’t satisfied. This is their answer but we still charge you and when i was explaining how i wanted my hair and showing them the pictures this is what their conclusion was that i have a thinner hair. In contrast, she told me that i have a good hair while she was washing my hair. Such a horrible horrible experience.. i don’t recommend this to anyone on earth

I did the Keratin Treatment about a week ago but wanted to wait until after washing my hair to share my experience. First, Tammy was the stylist who did my hair. She was super nice and very professional. All of the ladies were very welcoming. I am so happy i chose this salon to get my treatment done.As for the treatment. If you have curly and frizzy hair like myself i would recommend it, but if you wash your hair everyday like me you should be cautioned. I followed all of the directions and waited 3 full days (even a little longer) to finally wash my hair. After the first wash I completely loved it! It turned my curls wavy and was frizz free! However I notice that after every wash (even with the keratin shampoo and conditioner that went along with the treatment) my curls are coming back and some frizz is too. Not as much as it was to begin with though. I am currently on my 7th wash and I still like it, but it is a little more frizzier and with my curls back. The point is if you plan on washing your hair every day like myself, be aware that the keratin will start to wash off way sooner than expected.But overall, great experience and really great place to go do your hair!

If I could give Yalda 10 stars, I would!!!! She did an amazing job on my hair. Due to a medical issue, I have lost a ton of hair and I have not had a haircut nor highlights in over a year and a half. It looked awful and I wore it up almost all of the time. I was so apprehensive about doing anything to it. Thankfully I found Yalda!!!! During our consultation I expressed my concerns to her. She pulled up pictures, asked me questions and gave me her opinion on what she thought the best approach (cut and highlights) would be. I agreed and made an appointment. Yalda is nothing short of a miracle worker. She didnt just help to remedy the look from all the hair loss but she made my hair look better than it did even before I started experiencing issues. I LOVE the cut and the color!!!!!!! She is amazing. The salon was comfortable and clean. Margo assisted Yalda and was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend! This is a long post and hair may seem like a trivial thing but if you have dealt with hair loss, you can appreciate how challenging and disturbing it is. I was so emotional seeing my hair when she was done. So very grateful!!!!

Atieh was my stylist and she did a wonderful job! This was my first time at the salon and I had a root touch up, haircut, and keratin treatment done form my frizzy and unmanageable hair. The root touch up was a seamless match! After years of struggling with my frizzy hair, I finally don’t have to spend hours managing my unruly hair each morning. Atieh spent a good 3 hours on all the above services and I will surely return to see her for my future hair care needs.P.S. Everyone was meticulous about masking and this was so appreciated.

Not only did the salon call ahead to discuss the current condition of my hair, they also set expectations about what may, or may not, be possible. When I arrived, Tammy and I looked over the photos of what I wanted and what was possible to ensure that my hair didnt become overly damaged and fall out. She was awesome, and did a great job blending the colors as well as cutting and blowing out afterwards. The color looks really great! If I could give this salon more than 5 stars I would. I came to this salon because a previous salon did an absolutely horrible job on my hair. At first I was reluctant to go get my hair done because I didn’t want it to be ruined any further. I explained to Yalda my issues and Yalda immediately explained every step she was going to do in order for me to receive the exact color I wanted. Not only did she give me amazing result but she also had great customer service, throughout the whole process she made sure I was satisfied. Hello, yes today my fiancé came into get her hair done... Tammy the stylist was AMAZING. It seems like everyone else in there is rude and obnoxious. The prices were not clear when they explained the haircut/ color and everything else. It started at 175 and some how they wanted to charge her 240$.. for “color” which wasn’t explained to her while offering it. Also made her feel very uncomfortable because she was not prepared to dish out that much money (money is not an issue) but bad customer service is, and I will not tolerate it. The receptionist was rude and said “have not got your hair done before”... very snobby. You didn’t make her feel pretty and the experience was awful for her. I do NOT recommend this place and feel like you should be LUCKY you even have customers willing to walk in there with a pandemic going on.

I asked for the price over the phone & they said $135 for color. got there then they wanted to charge me double ($260) since my dark hair needed to get bleached.i was willing to do it but i changed my mind before they started because there was no guarantee that my hair would be the color i asked for.they just need to be mindful when theyre speaking in a foreign language in front of their clients. i didnt appreciate their attitude when i decided not to go through with it

I began getting haircuts here about 2 years ago - I was pretty nervous because I was cutting a lot off, from a medium length (passed my shoulders) to a slightly longer version of a pixie. However, Yalda did an amazing job and I absolutely loved it. Now as time has passed, I made the decision to grow it out and once again, Yalda has proven to be amazing at what she does. No matter what I ask of her she always delivers flawlessly. I always recommend her to others because I stand behind what she does 100%.

So I visited this place a few days ago and I got a keratin hair straightening treatment which didn’t last for a day after I washed my hair. I told the lady doing my hair, Tammy that I don’t think she applied enough product since I’ve gotten this done many times before but she said it was enough... when she barely applied any. Honestly such a waste of time and money. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I am really supprised about the good reviwes they have . I went to them one time as my hair stylist was busy that day and i regret it so bad, i am going to sue them, i lost my hair, they burned my scalp . i go to dermatology now and will let them pay every penny i paid as my insurance not covering it. i have picturs before and after also i brought my hair stylist to be a witness. I don’t recommend them to anybody

Ive had the same hairstylist for the last 16 years.Taylor was super awesome, listened to what I was looking for and my hair turned out fantastic!! I went in last week for a haircut. I have very light hair and am always very nervous when I take a hair cut. Roya took very good care of what I wanted and did a better job than I expected. Also, she spent so much time just with advice on managing my hair better. The staff was also very polite, I was made to feel very comfortable while I was waiting. Would definitely be going back!

My wife had an appointment she couldnt make due to an early morning visit to the hospital emergency room. She called the Avenue Salon main phone number and left a voicemail message hours ahead of time, that she would be unable to keep her appointment. Then I receive a phone call from Roya (owner?) screaming and yelling and cursing that my wife missed her appointment. Beyond unprofessional and downright disrespectful. My wife, daughter and mother-in-law have frequented this establishment, but NEVER AGAIN! Do you really believe thats the way to treat customers that have given you repeat business? Not sure how you stay in business being so mean and nasty. NEVER AGAIN!

I have short thin hair and not everyone has the skill or talent to work with it and produce an amazing result. When Roya started cutting, I was a bit nervous as hair went flying. Age has taught me to not get upset until a hair artist is done, so I sat patiently. This woman knew what she was doing! Her cut was one of only a half dozen in my lifetime that was perfection! Do not recommend this place if you are biracial, brought my daughter in to get a trim and a deep conditioning, however Yalda is the one who worked on my daughters hair, she literally used a MASK to straighten my daughters hair like her hair was the worst ever, this was the most humiliating experience me and my daughter had. Do not recommend this place.

This salon is absolutely wonderful. I came in for the balayage package, and to no fault of the stylist my hair didn’t turn out exactly as planned. They scheduled me in for the next day free of charge and my hair looks beautiful! Samin was my wonderful stylist but I can definitely tell that everyone that works here really cares about the integrity of clients hair and well being. They honored the price of a Groupon without needing me to buy the deal, and they used a keratin treatment product called GK Hair Taming System and its absolutely fantastic. Not all keratin treatments are created equal, and this one completely restored my bleach-fried hair back to its normal shiny smooth state. Amazing!

This place is absolute fantastic. My first experience there was a few months back when I walked in with tears because of a bad haircut I had received from a previous salon. Roya was just the sweetest and seated me right away. She calmed me down and talked me through how she was going to fix my hair to best fit my style and features. Found a groupon for keratin. The ladies explained how it works and what it will do for my thick curly (spiral) hair. Roya did my treatment and gave me a great layered cut. She totally understands my thick hair and thinned it and layered it out exactly how I like. She did a great job. Im definitely going back.
