This is the second time I’ve been to Serenity Salon and I’m thrilled with my highlight and color. I am in the process of growing my hair out from an extremely short cut. It’s been a year long struggle. Sam has been very attentive to my needs and has done a phenomenal job not chopping it off and keeping a good neutral highlight and color to cover grey.

I have ethic, curly hair and it became very damaged. When I came across this salon online and read the reviews about Mona, I figured I would try it since my hair was so damaged anyways and didn’t have much to lose. That was the best decision I ever made for my hair. Mona brought life back into my hair, she was God sent. So my first experience at this salon was not the greatest. I had to keep my hair in a ponytail to not feel so insecure. However I went back to serenity because I couldn’t take it no more and I needed it fixed. Let me tell you what. Not only was Bijan willing to fix my hair while being so patient with me and understanding, not only did he give amazing customer service, but he literally gave me the best haircut I’ve had in the dfw. Just saw Mona and I am so happy with my hair! It was a little confusing at first because a guy (who was clearly not Mona) took me back and washed and separated my hair while she was with another client, but once she took over she was very skilled and gave me exactly what I wanted! The gentleman (did not get his name but he was also great) dried my hair wonderfully (and I normally hate the way stylists dry my hair). Overall I ended up with a great cut in under an hour!

Wow! I have neglected my hair and came in to this salon with such dry and damaged hair. (My hair felt like straw and I could barely brush it)! Bijan and staff are amazing and listened to what I really wanted and what my hair really needed. Their color expert was amazing to tone the brass color out of my hair and restore it back to its natural state. My hair seriously felt like it had never been damaged when I left! I will not go anywhere else for my hair since finding this salon! I hope to get my nails and pedicure done here soon. Thanks to the staff here! Amazing job! Hair angels!

I had my hair dyed & cut by Mona about 4 weeks ago & have been meaning to post a review since. She does an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted & went from there. She is also very good with wavy/curly hair types. It is a little pricey.Update:I have been back to see Mona a few times since my first visit. She is absolutely amazing!!! I wont go to anyone else. Christopher Ramos has a suite with this salon. He does a super good job of cutting hair exactly as you want. The best word to describe his work is precision. Also, hes such a likable guy. I had an appointment and was seen in a timely manner. The man that cut my hair, Ricardo, was excellent and did an amazing job cutting my hair. I have very thick hair and I had fairly long hair when I walked in but he did a great job getting back to a more manageable length. I would definitely make another appointment here.

This was a total waste for me. The lady who cut my hair just wasnt interested. Poked my eyes with her finger like twice, almost burnt my scalp by using the diffuser on the highest heat possible even after I told her multiple times that its hurting badly and gave the worst kind of layers that could be given to curly hair. Hated the whole experience.

Marty Marshal is amazing! I have been going to Marty for over a year and hes by far the best stylist Ive EVER had. The man knows his stuff.. I have thick, naturally curly frizzy hair - he has worked his magic and now I have volume without frizz. I cannot be happier! .. Please do yourself a favor and setup an appointment with him - You wont be sorry!This was my first experience in Serenity Salon with Marty (He was previously at another location) - Staff was friendly and services offered ranged from Hair, to nails, to face, etc. A lot of movement but not impactful to my experience at all. Very large variety of products and easy access location with plenty of parking.

Regretfully, I decided to box dye my hair a lovely purple color which quickly turned into orange. Thank you quarantine for the wonderful idea! I scheduled an appointment here to get it as close as I could to my original / natural hair color. My stylist confidently told me that she was able to do that. And I’m very disappointed! Yes the highlighting was great.. if I was going to continuously dye my hair! I know you can’t match PERFECTLY. But my hair was a whole nother shade of blonde. I thought, maybe it’ll look fine once it starts growing out. It looks TERRIBLE. On top of this, I was charged $$$$ seriously. I am not too experienced but my friends tell me I was WAY overcharged. They took advantage of my novice experience with hair coloring to the next level. Now I have to go elsewhere to get this resolved.

A gentleman that claims to be a hairstylist for 30+ years cut inches off after I wanted my split ends cut. Getting home and doing my hair, I realize my hair cut is completely uneven. I immediately found a great rated stylist to correct the cut. Even my new stylist is asking me questions like did you ask him fo a u-shape, and what exactly I ask of him. I just would not recommend this salon.

Andree is fantastic at cutting my hair. Shes the only person who has cut my hair for the last 10 years. Shes cute and sweet and a joy to spend 40 minutes with once a month.

Ara is absolutely magical!!! First she did makeup services for me for a wedding I was attending. I got so many compliments on my makeup! I’m not used to getting my makeup done but she made the experience so wonderful, I can’t wait for her to do it again for future events. I wasn’t sure what dress I was going to be wearing so she did everything so it would match for the time of day it was and so my makeup would work for whatever I decided to wear. She truly is an artist!!!I also got facial service from Ara which was the best facial I have ever had. Seriously. She tailored the treatment to my specific skin and needs. It was so relaxing and my skin felt amazing. Now I will only be getting facials with Ara. She truly is gifted at what she does and her love for her work shows. She has a forever client!

Just not my kind of place.Response to owner: Didnt stay long enough to receive a service. Kept being told by the stylist that she knew how to cut curly hair, knew exactly the style I was wanting, and how my hair would react with that style. Had no confidence in them being able to perform the service I was looking for, so I left before it could be done. Its okay that youre not suited for an edgier style and that you focus more on post middle age women.

Anna G, my manicurist, was very attentive to details. I was very nervous to get my nails done due to COVID19. I took a leap of faith and gave the salon a try. I was very pleased with her protocols. She sanitized my chair, used a new nail filer and buffer. She even applied hand sanitizer on my hands before proceeding with my manicure. I felt safe and comfortable. I will definitely be a frequent customer.
