0/5 stars, This place is awful. We got a no chip nail manicure for my girlfriend, and they were chipping within 24 hours. Their websites says “Service includes a Basic Manicure and color gel base polish that will last for 2 weeks.” Well that’s a load of garbage. Important note: my girlfriend is not hard on her nails at all. We didn’t even bother going back for fixes because we’d be going back every other day for a fix. If you have $40 (plus tip) to waste every other day, then this place is for you!P.S.: picture is only the worst nail, but all 10 nails are chipped.

I treated myself to a pedicure and manicure before an event. I went in the night before the event. In less than 24 hours, my manicure was chipped and I did not do any dishes or anything. I returned Sunday and gave them a call Monday. They told me they dont warranty anything and it depends on the polish I got OPI. I nicely stated I was a new client, this has never happened before to me with any salons in 24 hours. Also, when I had to ask 2 people can I pay, they realized they never did a top coat on my nails, so I had to sit under the light another 10 minutes. I nicely asked for either1. A refund of just the manicure2. A coupon to come in when I can for a redo of a manicure (had pictures to prove the chipping on almost every nail)After being talked over on the phone (these are their polishes, brand names) when I was explaining what happened, I was then offered to have a manicure. I asked is it a brand new manicure or will you just paint over my chipped nails, I did not get a clear answer.Then 4 days later, Tuesday my pedicure was chipping. Again, never had a pedicure chip in 4 days.I should have inquired when I was there but I assumed a pedicure was $25. The final bill was $48 for a pedicure and regular manicure that took 10 minutes to do. Now seeing other comments I was overcharged for the pedicure and nothing extra came with my pedicure. I also tipped very well.I will def not be back to this salon and am very disappointed. I was overcharged (yes I assumed but I did receive a regular pedicure) and the manicure was awful.I dont ever leave bad reviews but if you want any type of Manicure and pedicure to chip in less than 24 hours, pick another salon. Photos would not attach here.

I was looking for a new nail shop, looked at the reviews and decided to give it a chance, mainly because they seem to want to help unhappy customers which is major a lot of places dont do that. I got a pedicure and a set of acrylics. The water was cold. The person doing my toes didnt speak English which is fine but when I asked the other lady to tell the guy I didnt want my toe nails clipped, she didnt relay the message and the guy started clipping them. They also charged me $60 for no chip acrylics that I didnt even ask for. Also, the guy doing my fingers had a problem with the simple design I asked for. He said never again, pick something more simple next time. 2 days later, my no chip nails started chipping and peeling. I came back in and a different guy was fixing them and told someone else to finish them because I said the color wasnt even throughout. I just dont like the way they deal with their customers.

I hadn’t been here before and didn’t make an appointment but I was welcomed in right away. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of this location. Shoutout to Jaci for doing an absolutely amazing job, I love the swirl designs, literally perfect. I also really liked the shape for my acrylics and the no-chip has lasted.

It was my first time here and Tammy was so great with me. She has such an awesome spirit. She was so excited about my nails when she was done. I wish everyone had this type of energy.

I cannot express how happy Iam about the way my nails came out. I arrived with nails that were messed up from a pervious nail salon. A gentleman name B heard my concerns and he took care of me. Omg did he do a beautiful job. I was left speechless. He took his time and made sure my nails came out wonderful. I highly recommend this place. And thank you B for all that you did an making me truly happy

I always get great service when I come here and my nails last longer than 2 weeks when I get the no chip

So I went in for a Mani Pedi, they were somewhat busy so I had to wait a little which I dont mind. I absolutely love my nails, it did take 3 people to actually understand what I wanted. I was told to let it dry. 5 other people came and went as was waiting. I never ended up getting my manicure because no one pulled me over to get it done they completely forgot about me I was waiting for over an hour. I ended up just walking out myself the little flip-flops with the things between my toes. No one came by to ask me how things were or if I needed anything else I was just ignored.

B is great! Excellent service and attention to detail. Everyone in salon was gracious and did excellent work! I had a full set of acrylics with ombre nails with opalescent metallic flecks. Also had a spa pedicure with no chip polish and an eyebrow lip and chin wax. Verrrrry pleased with every aspect and they have a new regular!!!

Came in for a fill. Most important reason I will not go back is for lack of sanitary protocol. I was cut twice with the tool while he was working on me and he applied pressure to stop the bleeding, only to realize he had cut himself accidentally as well. I will be making a visit to my dr to prevent any infectious diseases after blood contact. He used oil on my cuticles out of a glass bottle that was cracked off at the top with debris floating in it . After all that he charged me $40 for an acrylic fill. I don’t usually write reviews but I think the sanitary risk is too high not to warn others.

Tammy the owner is so awesome! She does my nails (full gel set with French tips) and I always leave so happy. She is willing to text with her clients about appointments times etc and I feel like we have known her for years. Highly recommended nail salon in Plainfield

Anyone who doesn’t give this place 5 stars or more needs to see Nathan. He was so precise with the nail shape and art. I’ve had my nails don’t all over the Chicago suburbs and downtown Chicago and NEVER have I had my nails done so well. If you want your friends to be jealous of your nails then go here!!!!

No 2 nails are the same shape, length, thickness or color. There are gaps between the tips and my real nails..Ive never had such horrible nail experience! 2 nails have broken already & 1 is peeling away from my nail, 3 hours after getting them done.

I booked an appointment with Tracy for dipped and manicure. I have never been here before and it came recommended. So very disappointed. The lady who did my nails nicked my finger several times when she was getting my old dip off my nails. My finger hurts. Then my dip is all over the place and I had to pull my skin from under my nails apart from the nail because she didn’t separate it. Then she asked if I wanted lotion and I said is that part of the manicure where she responds that she didn’t know I wanted that and can’t do it! I have bubbles and not smooth finish! Horrible place!

I had an appt with a confirmation. They looked at me like I was crazy when I showed up and told them I was there for my appt. I then received a super rushed job because the person was already doing someone else’s nails. Not a good experience, some of my nails didn’t get a second coat or top coat because the person was distracted.*not good quality*overpriced for basic services*disorganized*didn’t feel like the stations were being cleanedVery disappointing and I won’t be back.

Felt very rushed through, though had taken an appointment. One staff was working with my pedicure and before they could finish the manicure was started by the next staff.

At first, my nails were done very poorly and was painful for some reason. However, I was offered a redo for free by the owner at any time of my choosing. I went back and redid them snd they did a very good job the 2nd time. I am pleased with the customer service and work done. Thank you!

I have really enjoyed each experience at this place. The place is super clean and relaxing. Its not like the places where you just walk in and there are 10 other ladies getting pedicures and you dont know what you are in for. This is a cozy private place where you can relax and get a great manicure and pedicure! Did I mention its clean? I cant stress that enough :-)

Huge fan of this place! Each gel mani lasted forever and did not chip. They did a fabulous job. Even though it was busy, the nail techs took their time to make sure I had the best experience. I really enjoyed this place and would definitely come back.

I just moved to Plainfield about a week ago and needed a new nail salon, picked this place because of the positive reviews, semi close to my house. I had a great experience, I walked in around 10am and was immediately helped. They have a huge selection of Dip polish colors and did an amazing job on my nails. So glad I found my new nail salon!

I had a coworker recommend this place while I was in town and I loved it! Tammy did my Sns powder dip nails and they are perfect! She was super sweet and just hung out and talked to me. It was a Good Friday after work me time. If I’m ever back in the city I would definitely trust them with my nails again!

Super friendly and my full gel set looks phenomenal! Im so happy I stopped in here- definitely my new nail spot. They also told me about SNS dipping powder which is something I had never heard of, but am excited to try one my nails grow out. :)

Ive only been to Plainfield Nails and Spa a few times, but I have been very happy each time Ive gone. They are very close to my house and they are open on Mondays, which is very helpful for my schedule. Tammy is so sweet and does a fantastic job on my fill and no chip. Her husband finished my nails last time and he did a very nice job as well. They do recommend an appointment but they seem to have a lot of available stations for clients. The price is slightly higher than another salon I used to go to, however, Im always happy with the work that is done so it is well worth the money. You arent able to tip on card, so I would recommend bringing cash.

This cute little nail salon is my favorite place to go for dip nails. Theyre thinner than most, shaped beautifully, and last longer. My current manicure has lasted for almost 4 weeks. Everyone is really friendly, and the old house the salon is in makes for a really quaint and pleasant experience.

My first time here, they are wonderful! He took his time and was SO thorough. Probably one of the most thorough pedicures I have gotten. I will definitely be coming here again.

I know it’s complicated with COVID and navigating the new rules, but don’t tell someone that a 2:00 appt is open when you clearly can’t handle the business. We arrived at 2:00 and they unlocked the door to let us in but then they seemed very confused why we were there. They finally led us to this back room and had us sit and wait for twenty minutes without ever acknowledging us or even turning on the foot bath. When I finally went to question someone, they told us they wouldn’t be able to help us for another hour because they were working on other people. Wow is all I can say. Steer clear, everyone. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, so please choose ANY of the other ten places in the area.

I have tried at least 6 salons in the area over time. Salons change management and Ive retried some salons. My favorite nail tech was at salon that was sold to someone else and quality not the same. I ve settle on this salon, because Tami always gives me a marvelous fill, no chip manicure that looks like the nails are my own. She is very careful to make sure that I am satisfied. I really like that kind of service. She and everyone Ive met here are friendly. It is also a beautiful looking salon. They have lots of colors, tho I must say that I would like a few more selections in the range of colors I choose which is a coral-like natural tone.Ive seen some negative reviews here and I would just like to comment that In two salons Ive gone to in the past, I was not satisfied with the first tech I had. I went back and got satisfactory service from a different tech. In one case the tech I didnt like was gone by the time I returned. Sometimes they have new employees, so maybe give each salon you try a second chance!I definitely recommend this salon.

Overpriced...regular Pedi was $33 and did not scrub off dead skin. I also brought my own polish.

I was there FOREVER for an acrylic fill because the lady who did my nails was also doing two other girls. the lengths of the nails are all uneven. the underneath of my nails looks really bad, as she didn’t file it. and the paint looks terrible!! it looks like i got them done 3 weeks ago instead of a week ago. never going back.

I have been coming here for five months and I have no complaints. I never feel rushed even when they are busy. They care about the quality of their products. I was truly pampered when I was swollen and pregnant.

This nail salon is the best in the area, so happy to have found them. They use disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, disposable files and buffers for each client. I had a no-chip mani and a pedicure. They took their time and I got beautiful results. I highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed.

I walked in for a pedicure and a fill. I was told to pick out a Polish and have a seat in a pedicure chair. I waited 45 minutes before anyone even turned on the water for the foot bath. In total I sat in that pedicure chair for about 2 hours. I have never in my life had a pedicure where they picked at my toes with instruments so much. I walked in there with feet that were perfectly fine, yet needing a pedicure. I walked out with a swollen big toe which is now infected!!!! Mind you, I have NEVER had any sort of infection or ingrown toenail nail before. They entirely too slow at this place and clearly do not know what they are doing with feet. Never again will I visit this nail salon.

My experence was great! A friend recamended this place and so i went and got a hot stone massage pedicure and a full set with all nails with a decoration, i love them! I felt guilty because i thought the designs were too difficult for the technician, but she did her best and im glad she tried, they all were so nice and welcoming, a great price, im definatly coming back and im definatly recomending them to my friends!

Total joke! I got no chip on Thursday, the next day 2 nails were already chipped, its now Sunday & 4 are chipped. Neither of the guys doing my pedicure/manicure had a clue what they were doing. Id never go there again.

I give them 2 stars because their service was good. But the quality sucks. I went for a full set and in 1 day I had 2 nails pop off and I was literally moving stuff around. The nail tech put MINIMAL glue on the nail tip which is causing me to get the broken nails. Its been a week and I have had 5 nails break. I went back for the first 2 but its been a week today and I am missing 3 more. The purpose was for me to have my nails done for a party Im hosting but Im hosting a party with 3 nails missing. I tried them because they are next to my gym, but I will not be wasting my time to go back.

I was so happy to see they finally opened up. Had a great experience here with my daughter. Very nice new salon with a relaxing atmosphere. Tammy is genuinely sweet, easy to understand & seems to be particular to detail. She also seems selective about employees she will need to bring onboard, as I believe she will grow her clientele rather quickly. **I suggest you make an appointment since they have recently opened so you can be accommodated without much wait time.** My daughter had the dipped manicure which she is very happy with....tons of colors to choose from!! I was pleased with my pedi from Bee. He gave a great lower leg massage. They offer complimentary beverages as well. Prices are comparable to other salons in the area. Havent seen an herbal pedi offered elsewhere but I may have to try it...I kept thinking tea when I saw all the different leaves. Would like to hear the music louder in the manicure area to mask the sounds of the sanding tools a bit. The sound is at a perfect level in the pedi area however. I think youll be happy when you try this salon. Ill definitely be returning.
