I have my nails done by Elizabeth every 2 weeks. She does a fantastic job. I get a manicure along with a fill. I am very hard on my nails with cleaning, gardening etc and she has my nails looking great. I would highly recommend her.

Love. Super meticulous and paid attention to detail! I’ll be returning! Minus a star because no card tip! Such an inconvenience for people who never carry cash so just beware.

The owner did my nails she was very rough, cut my fingers with the file. She was more concerned to look around. My natural nails are so weak. I will take my business somewhere else. Never, again!

Got my nails done here Sunday afternoon. Chose the Blue Bell 574 no chip with acrylics. Today (Wednesday) my middle nail chipped off while opening my car door. I went in, and expected they’d probably do it for free considering a nail should not chip off that easy. I go in, and a gentleman fixes my nail for me. Not only did I have to pay for it (it was only 4 dollars so I’m not that mad) but I handed them my card cuz I had no cash. And they laughed when I did so. ON TOP of that. The nail he put on, he made it WAY longer than my other middle nail. So unbelievable. Will never be coming here again. Neither will any of my sisters or my mom.

Came here couple of times for a manicure and to get my eyebrows done. So far, this is my favorite place to get my eyebrows done in Plainfield. Staff always gets them done the way I want them. It is $12. Usually the wait isn’t too long. You can pay with card but can only tip in cash which is a downfall because I don’t usually carry cash. The only thing I don’t really like is most of the staff talks to each other in their language rather than talking to the client. To me it is kind of disrespectful because it makes me feel like they are talking about me. Not much of an experience but it gets the job done.

Liz’s Nails is organized, clean and their full-staff always gives an +A service. They even have these cute animal pedicure seats for the kids. The nails technicians always greet when you walk-in and Thank you before you leave. The atmosphere is calming, enjoyable and satisfying. I’ve been to many other nail shops but they do not compare to Liz’s Nails customer service. Believe me, once you get your nails done at Liz’s Nails, you will leave with a smile.

The day I got my nails done some of it chipped off, and I got no chip! The person that was doing my nails completely ripped me off! She didn’t care about my nails at all! The ends of my nails were so messy and she didn’t even cover my whole nail! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Never dissapoint

I got a manicure today and not only did they cut my cuticle down so far I started bleeding profusely, but after showering half of my no chip gel manicure came off effortlessly. Not only that but they don’t use clean pumice stones and reuse the same ones for every customer. I am just hoping the skin on my toenail he butchered off does not get infected. AWFUL SERVICE do not come here unless you want to waste your money.

Refereed to two different types of gel no chip gel (regular gel polish)or regular gel (normal nail polish the air drys and does not need a light)at the end of the visit she had used a gel top coat as a base and used regular nail polish for the color and top coat. She even had me me cure it under the light to make me believe it was gel. Tried to charge me $45 for a $25 service.They definitely tried to take advantage of me because I was a new customer. Never coming back again.

They charge for gel but only offer acrylic. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS POWDER GEL. I used to go here all the time but the last time I was there, they were very rough on my nails and the lady doing them was paying more attention to her surroundings than me. Before finding out I was being overcharged, I had never had a bad experience. I went twice a month for at least 6 months but will not be returning.

Completely messed up my nails. my nail is bent upward. i know its not supposed to look like that. didnt file the acrylic down. and nail color job isnt good. would not recommed.

Price is great... but that is it. Got home to feel rough and dry heels. I paid for a deluxe and I basically got a mask and a hot towel on my legs. NO MASSAGE AT ALL. Still have cuticles, uneven nails and it is already chipping for the “no” chip polish. My skin around my nails still hurt from them being cut so short. Polish is very uneven... there is more grrrrrrr

Poor customer service! I waited and it took this location to complete a pedicure and fill-in in 3 hours!!!! Never had to wait that long!!!! I waited 2 hours before a nail tech to complete my pedicure, by that time the water went from hot to cold! Horrible! !!!Then I was told I would have to return the next day to get a fill in after sitting with my feet in the bowl for 2 hours! Finally got in the chair for a fill in and it took a another hour! Pedicure and fill-in turned out great but I wont NEVER return to this location again!!! Wasted a complete 3 hours of my time!

Love this place! Been coming for years. They always do a great job. Especially my nail tech Elizabeth. She is superb.

The only reason I keep giving them a chance is because of how close they are. My nails always turn out bumpy especially when I ask for long nails. If I get sort nails they’re alright, but I guarantee you wont walk out without at least one cut. One time I walked out with 5 cuts! And it’s not even the filing devices they use, it’s from them jabbing THEIR NAILS into your fingers.

First time there and I will never ever go back. Im going to have to pay some other salon to fix what they screwed up. She took my nails so short and CROOKED that it looks like I have no freaking nails because I told her to even it out. I am not walking around with crooked nails. I will I like mine squared what did she do? Rounded them completely out. Never ever again. I have never been so mad getting my nails done.

I got my nails done Sunday afternoon. I did the pink & white which costs 50 bucks. By wednesday night one had broke off right at the glue. I went in on Thursday to have it fixed and was charged. The lady was very rude and it looks awful compared to the nails I had done on Sunday its rounded on one corner and squared on the other. She apparently didnt want to add more pink so now half my nail is white. Very dissapointed

It was my first time here today I was taken back about 15 minutes late to an appointment I made as soon as they opened that day. I was told theyre known for their massages. I got maybe a 5 minutes massage with my pedicure and there was not much pressure. The only redeeming quality here is that they seem to be clean and they did do a good job getting out my ingrown toenails. Other than that there isnt much that wowed me. Maybe I just got a bad nail tech?

I have been going to Liz’s Nails for 13 years!! There is NO other place I would rather go to. I have never had a bad experience there. If something I did not like I just told them and they fixed it for me. They are all great there. Even though you may have to wait just a little longer than some places it so worth it. Again, I would not change my nail place for anything! ☺️

NO NO NO NO. Do NOT go here. I got my nails done by the manager and I had to ask her multiple times to file the acrylics straight that she glued on crooked. Because of this, my nails were significantly shorter than I requested because they were so off that she had to file a lot. I posted a photo of my left hand (the ones that are short, square, matte black with polish everywhere) so you can see what they think a good job is. The cuts around my cuticles are also from the manager doing my nails. Finally, the matte polish she put on reeks horribly. Now Ive gotten my nails done religiously every two weeks for literally 7 years, and I can tell you that the smell from the matte polish is NOT normal. It smells like rotten eggs, and the smell wont go away no matter how many times I wash my hands. Its unfortunate because the woman who did my brows did great, but the manager ruined the whole experience. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I walked in this morning about 30 minutes after they opened. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that they have a large selection of no chip colors. The nail tech was in a rush and did not do a good job on my nails or toes. She was rude and pushy. I like to relax when I go to the salon and she said everything with attitude and like she was annoyed. She didn’t paint all of my toe nails completely and they definitely could have used another coat. She also filed my nails uneven and seemed very annoyed when I asked her to fix them. The message during the mani and pedi were okay but definitely not worth coming back for. Not worth the money at all!

I usually come here all the time and I never complain but my experience today will change that. I walked in approximately 12:56pm, I was seated and my hands were soaking in a bowl. This woman comes in 10 minutes after me in a rush to get her nails done (not sure If they favored her because she is a regular) and the man working on my nails completely left me and did that womans FULL SET while I was STILL soaking!!! 45 minutes go by and he finally starts!! Mind you I had work at 3pm and I thought I had given myself enough time. Not only were my nails crooked, but he charged me $45 even after waiting almost an hour for a lady that was BEHIND me, his hand messed up the paint on one of my fingers blamed me for it, he noticed, and did not fix it. I was also 30 minutes late to work. Never again. Do not go to the older gentleman with the glasses.

DO NOT have Elizabeth help you. I called on a Sunday morning and booked an appointment for 12 because I had some place to be at 2. I walked in and someone who was helping someone else told me to pick a color and seated me at a work station. I had a stick with the sample color I liked with me. Elizabeth sat down in front of me and I told her what I wanted. She looked at me and snapped why you have these?? This is for powder I looked at her and said I just liked the color. The other person only told me to pick a color Elizabeth stood up without a word and grabbed a whole other set of samples, to which I picked the same color from the samples that werent right. She then poured a bowl of nail polish remover and had me stick my fingers in it. Then a customer walked in and said she was there for a manicure and pedicure. Elizabeth shut her work station light off (the light that my fingers were soaking under) and went and helped the customer that had just walked in and didnt have an appointment!!!!! She didnt even say a word to me!!!!!!! I sat for another 15 mins or so before another employee freed up and moved me over to her station to do my nails. No other employees offered me any kind of apology or explanation. And nobody said a word to Elizabeth. I couldnt believe that I was treated that way, and I couldnt believe she was getting away with that sort of behavior in the workplace.

Been here several times for me and my daughters, we always get no chip, and I always get French manicure. This time the place was very dirty, they used dirty tools! The lady that did my nails was fast but the lines on my nails were crooked, she didnt paint the sides of my nails, i wished I took a picture, they looked awful, so they redid them same day, 3 days later I had 3 nails completely gone and 4 more chipped! I called spoke with Vivian who told me to come back to redo, so went back 1 week later for the 2nd redo, when I told the lady at desk what I was there for, another lady did my nails but only replaced the 3 that were completely gone, then try to tell me my nails were thin and I need to get acrylic nails because my nails are short, never ever had an issue before, and I will NEVER EVER return to this place again! Star Nails is the best! Liz Nails is the worst!!

This was my first time going to Lizs place and my last. The person who greeted me seemed like she didnt want to be bothered. I asked if they had a different shade of gray and was replied with look on the wall. The other tech who provided the pedi seemed rushed and very direct. Sit down, come here, get up, you pay now. Very unprofessional i will NOT be back ever.

Do not go here,.... They offer gel nails but use acrylic.. Their is no such thing as the same color powder for both gel and acrylic ... I confronted them about it and said there are 2 types of powders after hearing that I watched what they use for gel and acrylic and its the same powder.... They lied right to my face.. My fiance had her nails done here and they cut her fingers up and didnt apologize, they were extremely rough with her and made her bleed, the lady was paying attention to her phone more than her job... I used to think this place is good but its not.. Do not go here at all

I love Nia. She is takes her time and does a great job everyone. All her no-chips last me just under 3 weeks and her pedis are amazing. Ive had several people here, but she by far has given me exceptional service every time.

Recently remodeled beautifully inside. New pedi chairs, manicure tables and decor.

Horrible experience there today! Noticed last minute that polish on toes did not match polish on hands. After being there an 1.5 hours all they were concerned about was getting paid! They had the nerve to charge full price saying they offered to start all over! Sorry I don’t have another 1.5 hours to spare! SMH!

1st time here, I was having breakfast in the restaurant across the parking lot and stopped in first to make an appointment for afterwards. Came back after eating and 2 different people asked me if I had an appointment. Finally a lady decides to do my nails and stopped after cleaning the polish from 1 hand and asked if I had an appointment then left me walked over to the book to check to see if I had an appointment. She cut my cuticles 3 times with the drill and the nails were just OK. I will never go back.

I have been going here since I was a sophomore in high school, I am now 27. I actually went to the same school and graduated the same year as the owners daughter. I have always gone to lou who I think does an amazing job. I tried someone different this last time because I was in a rush and it was horrible!! she tried to charge me for a brand new full set when all she did was give me a fill, she argued with me about how it was a new set I said no its not you just filled it I explained I wasnt paying for full set I didnt get if she wanted to give me one I was ok with that. I had a repair and a fill and a polish change for my toes. she was very rushed and everytime I would point something out to her she would rudely say what do you want. I had to tell her at least 4 time to fix the same nail. the old color was not fully removed and she just filled over it so now I cant just leave my nails clear if I wanted to. she also left it all around my cuticle and outer outline of my nail. I had to tell her to remove it. I have an acrylic over lay on my nail and its separating from my nail I asked her what I could do didnt want it to come apart she put glue on the back and said it was fine well no it isnt because not even 2 days and my nails are lifting. she did an awful job i was so mad and disappointed. the owner wasnt there or I would have complained. she sits in chair 8 dont go to her!!

I have been there several times now in the last two years and must save overall they are awesome. I have had a situation where they painted the nails too many times to where the paint took forever to dry which I ended up messing up because an hour later it still had not set. They do the most awesome pedicures I have ever had as they have a massage chair that you sit in while they do the pedicure and I am sorry but for $25 they do a heck of alot more than anyone else I have ever been to.I have gotten fake nails before and not sure who the other reviewer got but I have never had an issue with anyone there and I have pretty much had every single girl and a couple of the guys do my nails now.I love them so much I flew my mother up from Mississippi and treated her to a trip there so she could compare with the nail salon she goes to in Misssissippi and she even agrees that she looks forward to visitng us more often so she can go back.Would recommend everyone give them a try. My only reason for not giving an excellent is there is always room for improvement and while the everyone there does speak english it does bother me some when they are talking to each other in a different language (call me paranoid). But for the service - awesome!
