The one star was them getting me in water pretty quickly. I sat there for about 15 more minutes. She started getting the hangnails off and before I know it, 4 of my nails are clipped.. she did not ask if I wanted a cut down, which I did not. She cut them so low she started filling my skin, then proceeded to pull at skin on my toes!! I only went here because my regular place was packed, so I won’t be back here. They’re ugly and now I have to wait for my nails to grow back to get something better. Came in with perfect square toe nails and leaving with this mess. Also, quickest pedicure of my life (not a good thing).

I brought my dad in for a pedicure because his doctor recommended he get one. My dad was not happy about the idea, but Peter made him feel very comfortable and talked to him. Now my dad loves to go back when he is in town.

I took my daughters to get their first manicures and pedicures to this establishment based on a friend’s recommendation. Peter, Kim, and Michelle kindly took us in and definitely took their time with us, giving us their upmost care. They were patient even though I brought children. They accommodated our wishes and truly went above and beyond. My girls are still talking about what an amazing experience they had. We can’t wait to go back again!

Selection of services is poor. Selection of products is poor. Young women there is very condescending and unprofessional. Nails were fat and horrible. Had to go someplace else to have redone. Will not go back.

I got a full set and only went here despite the reviews because I had a gift card. Charged 55 for a full acrylic set and that was fine until the manager tried to up sell me an extra 35 for gel polish that’s unheard of. I’m in the beauty industry and I know that times are tough but they are price gouging. I got my set done by Peter he was nice until Iy came down to my nail art. Simple black hearts that he could not do. My set in all is alright. It’s lumpy and and there’s nail polish on my cuticles. I don’t recommend this place at all.

The services were good . I got French MeniPedi combo ..It was not gel but my nail print started coming off the very next dayThe picture that I am posting are within 24 hours . Also I did not do any thing that would have me absorbed my hands in water .. It was a horrible experience. There was one woman who did my friends pedicure while also going back and forth to my pedicure. It took hours to do. She put fake acrylic gel on my toe because it was “too thin” after she had filed it down for 5 mins. When she painted over the gel it looked like a huge smudge and bump. Went to another salon right after and got it fixed. Horrible.

I love this place! I can go as a walk-in or I can call them ahead of time. It is very relaxing and enjoyable! They don’t mess around, I can get in and out and have beautiful nails!

WORST NAILS EVER! she asked if the length was fine and I said ok. Then kept filing them down. She had wayyy too wide of nails to begin with on. They were filled w ridges and uneven. I didnt realize till I left and they refused to refund my money when I went back. Plus she was standing upstairs yelling at me like a fool! Because I had said they were ok before I left. I didnt realize till I got home and looked at them how bad they really was. I live 45 miles away. They had offered to fix them but then she yelled and treated me like I was lying?! Came into the establishment on Sunday for a fill and a full set expecting to pay less than $100. My fill was terrible with acrylic all over my actual fingers. The Polish was gritty there are black flakes in the top coat that proceeded to get all over my white pink nails and the top coat rubbed off like it wasnt even polished leaving the nail looking rubbed off like it wasnt even polished leaving the nail looking half matte and half polished. while I was paying for the nails I realized that my niece was in bullied into a said that she did not ask for. She had asked for a regular acrylic nail coffin shaped and painted. What she got was a special coffin tip nail totaling out at $80 for one set. Nothing special no gems no rhinestones no design. one day later when I was complaining about the paint job on mine I realized that her set already chipped. Im not a big complainer but at the price point that I paid which was $125 I was pretty upset. We went back in and spent another hour getting our nails fixed. Just for the following day to have her sit chip again I am writing this review from inside the nail salon where they refuse to do anything. Theyre offering to repaint but no refund.. the nail tech proceeded to call my niece a liar and say that she was doing something intentional to break the Polish. Anyone that knows gel polish is not supposed to chip this is the reason that they charge extra for gel is because it is supposed to be more durable as witnessing her do absolutely nothing to make the nail polish chip other than wash your hands Im a little upset. Never go here waste of money. Wish I read the reviews before visiting this terrible nail salon

I Really Love this place. I have been here three times now. Twice by myself and now this third time has been spectacular! I bring my fiancee and she was pleased. She owns her own nail salon(so hard to please) but she loved it also..!!! The lady Michelle is Amazing. The guy Peter is so professional and kind and funny. Had a great conversation with him my past visits. This place is perfectly clean smells great and is Hands down the best nail salon in Plainfield.

If I could have given 0 stars, I definitely would have. This was the worse experience ever. The lady who co-managers with Peter is very unprofessional in addition to not being able to polish. So many excuses when asked to polish my entire nail. When I tried to have a conversation with her about it, her response was we can soak the gel nail off. That would be great if I didnt just waste an entire two hours here. In addition, since I wasnt just accepting her horrible excuses, she kept threatening to call security or the police. Will never be back to this establishment, and I wish I had read the reviews first.

I was excited they took me as a walk-in. But now I understand why they were not busy. They sneak things in and charge you extra for them. I had a minor with me and she was getting a pedicure.They gave her a mudd treatment without asking me. It is $10 extra. I was getting my nails done and didnt know. I was asked if I wanted the mudd treatment. I said no. He did it anyway. My toes look awful. There is polish on the sides of my toes. I will never go there again.

Just left this place. Seems like a nice place but was turned off by the customer service. I wanted a pedicure and gel manicure. She asked to see my nails and told me that my nails were too short for gel. I told her that I had never had any issues before. And I asked if it would be a problem. She said no, that she would do them. But her tone and facial expression turned me off and I told her never mind. Not sure if she just had a bad day or what. But I’m not going to let someone provide me a service when they don’t want to be bothered...recipe for a disaster. They missed out on a possible repeat customer.

This place is very clean but that’s about the only thing they have going for them. I went in to get a full set of acrylics and they pressured me into getting a different type of press on nail. (For $80 btw) The woman couldn’t paint the full nail and as the day went on they started to hurt and my circulation started getting cut off from the nail being too tight. I went back in asking for a refund but they said they could only redo my nails and couldn’t refund my money. I got a regular full set of acrylics and they look god awful. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I went in to get an acrylic manicure with natural long nails. Then when i left my nails were shorter than i went in. The price is also expensive. They did an awful job. I got glitter and you can barely see it. Would not recommend to others. They also cut my fingers a lot.

I think this place is wonderful. I took my daughters not expecting to have anything for myself done but my girls kept telling me to because my feet were horrible so I did and it was 100 and 10% the right decision. I go to the shooting range, I own a diesel pickup truck and Im as straight as they come so if you want to make your old lady happy by not scratching her legs up in bed with your snaggle toes go to this place. They took amazing care of my daughters and me. They did such a good job me and my daughters became so relaxed all three of us fell asleep in the massage chairs. They covered us with blankets and gave us snacks and let us sleep as long as we wanted. I never felt so relaxed in my life and Im sure it was the same for my girls. Dont listen to the negative comments. I have a feeling theyre the type of people that cant be pleased at all. I highly recommend Glace Nails.

I walked in and was welcomed right away. I did have to wait about 15 minutes, it was a Saturday. I was greeted by Peter. He was nice, funny and made me feel comfortable. I will admit I have extremely short nails so when I get them done they dont last very long, usually about 1 1/2 weeks. I wanted to try gel nails for a change seeing they are supposed to last longer. I was excited. I left Glace and ran my errands. I noticed when I got home what my nails really looked like and it was pure disappointment. I had globs of polish on some sides of the nails and other sides had no polish at all. They looked terrible. Here I am 5 days later and were the globs were are now peeling. Cant get back out to Plainfield anytime soon either. Getting 2 stars for customer service. Nail Set -5 stars. I wanted to treat myself for once and I am really sad that I spent $58 for this.

The place is decorated lovely and the staff was very friendly and polite. I got a manicure with gel polish and i felt it was way overpriced. The quality/look of my final result was not worth $10.00 but was charged $35.00. I will not be returning. I can paint my own nails cheaper and it will look better.

I have been a client at Glace Nails for 6-1/2 years and have never had the first problem. I am always greeted professionally and politely when I walk in the door and if I am having a pedicure and there are pedicure chairs available, but all the technicians are busy, they direct me to go ahead and choose an empty pedicure chair to sit in, enjoy the massage while I wait for the technician to finish what he/she is doing. Once the technician is finished with other clients, then he/she greets me and begins my pedicure. Once my pedicure is done and the nails have dried, I check out at the reception desk and always give a tip for polite and professional service. I will continue to go back to Glace Nails as long as they are there and I am able. If there are others who have had a polite and professional experience, I encourage you to write a review as I see way too many negative reviews.

Dont let them do gel! It jacked up my perfectly beautiful natural nails. Months later, Im still trying to get back my natural nails. Very nice shop, nice people. Mediocre nails and pedis. Very expensive.

Thought I would give this salon one more try today. Now I remember why they are never busy. Worst pedicure ever. Didnt trim cuticle or clean under nails, callous still present on my heels. Basically a foot rub with a polish change. I will never return. Its a real shame because the salon is really nice. I wouldnt recommend at all.

It was uncomfortable at the time and within a few hours I had bruises on my ankles where she held so tight as she was working. And I do my polish myself it last weeks. Theyre polish did not even make it 7 days. I will never return...

I went Glace nails on Aug 16 2019 it is a terrible place NEVER GO THERE. they cut my nails really bad. They bleed very bad. And they still hurt. They didnt apply the acrylic good. The shape of the nails were terrible as well. Today I came back and we told the owners that they did a bad job and we wanted our money back. They stole 3 dollars more than i said. They charged me 28 for full set and i gave them 2 dollars for tip. Thats 30 dollars and i payed with card and my mom checked her bank account it said that took 33 dollars out of the card. They had said that i told them 3 dollars for tip but I said 2 dollar tip. They gave us 30 dollars back. And when we told them that they stole from us the lady said no we didnt. But we showed them the bank account from the card. The lady gave us those 3 dollars back. After that the lady told us to not come back and I told ok we wont come back ever. This is just a warning to all of u that go to glace nails. They are terrible and rude people.

The guy working here was extremely kind and inviting, but Im sorry, that was not enough to justify how bad my experience was. Not only was I told that they absolutely do not do ANY designs except French tips, but they charge a 60 dollar fortune for garbage work. I went ahead and got French tips (because thats all she would do) because I was with family on an outing. I walked out of there with bubbles under 4 nails, paint not even to the tips, BLEEDING around and under SIX Nails that she caused with her extremely sharp FINGERNAILS (infection, anyone?!) AND the crowning achievement, a disgusting HAIR trapped in my thumbnail right on display against the white like a trophy in a case. When I had asked for a design book the lady snapped at me and told me the people who come in here are conservative. We only do french tips. LOL seriously? Im pretty sure she just couldnt do any designs, because I had to go have the horrible French tip failure fixed somewhere else. Fingers still in pain days later... The guy there is a sweetheart but that can not justify the level of bad work this is. Didnt even bother asking for repairs, too much damage already... AvoidEdit: they close earlier than advertised. Went back at 7:35 to address concerns to a shut down dark shop advertising open until 8.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. Their sign says medi and pedi for 43 dollars. I did that and was told it was going to be a extra 10 for the massage. My nails are not fully painted (gel) and my toes have paint on my skin. He goes to swipe my card and I was charged 80 Fing dollars.I’ll not being going back.I wouldn’t go here at all.Granted the people were nice but 80 dollars for some damn gel nail polish like come the f on. Worst nail experience ever. I’ve been to different spas and this was by far the most overpriced one. I was with my friend and we read the bad reviews, and thought, “it’s fine whatever” but it was not fine. For anyone reading I Do Not Reccomend! The salon is very nice looking, clean, and well kept. I was excited to go there for my first time based on their appearance. However, I was soon disappointed in my experience there. I got a gel manicure on Saturday. I was not very impressed with my nails on Saturday after I got home as they were uneven, my cuticles were painted, and there were some places on my nails that didnt have polish at all. On Monday, each nail had a place where the polish was coming up, ultimately peeling off already. I ended up having to take all of them off as they were getting stuck in my hair, they looked unprofessional, etc. I will not be returning to Glace nails.

Im pretty sure that this place gave me the most perfect lines that Ive ever had from a French Tip. I even had someone ask where I got my nails done that very night.

I went here with a good friend of mine, got right in. She was just getting a gel manicure on her real nails and the man doing it got up 4 times to do something wake. When it was time for my full set gel polish I had to ask her twice to put on another coat of polish because she was only going to put on 1. Its very beautiful inside but very overpriced I felt. I paid $50 for something that I know I could have went somewhere else and got for $35.

People here are nice. Sadly, completed overpriced $94 for gel nails with “fake”nail and polish on toes. Got my nails done yesterday and now 2 are chipped. Don’t recommend! Won’t return.

I’ve went here twice. The first time, the nail polish chipped after 2 days and the skin around my nails became infected. The second time, my nail polish chipped once again, the lady who did my nails ignored my request 3 times when I asked her to narrow the edges more, and finally the man that was working with her had to fix them because she walked away. The nail polish chipped horribly after 3 days and they fell off before a week was up. It was a sloppy, rushed job both times and I do NOT recommend this place at all.

I stopped in today for a Mothers day pedicure. I was asked to put my name and number down. They wanted me to walk around the mall and they would call me when it was my turn. They never called. I saw them close. Terrible business. Thanks for taking away my mothers day.

I went for prom yesterday, wanting to try somewhere different than my usual (Show Hand Nails). The people were a little rude (at first) but once the lady started to work on me she became nice and interested in me. However, this cannot justify the end result I got. I went in knowing what i wanted (a nude to white gradient acrylic) and already they couldn’t do that. I was disappointed, but i did have a back up: white. While my sister next to me was getting hers done i was just waiting around, and i hear the women tell her that because she is wants gel with a cotton shape it will be $60! She is panicking at this point because the woman already started applying the acrylics so she switches to regular polish which is still $40! Finally i start mine (i have switched to reg polish too because i don’t want to spend an arm and a leg), but they have NO pure white reg polishes to match the pearls on my dress soi have to once again settle for something i don’twant, a pearlecant off-white. It is EXTREMELY streaky, and i’m sure it won’t last long at all. And right before she was going to do the topcoat, i asked for a matte one (at least something that i wanted) and she grabs it no problem. Halfway through doing my first nail with the top coat, she says “this is and extra five dollars, okay?” Once already starting my top coat! I have no choice at this point, but an extra five dollars for a matte top coat is absurd, they are no different in price or otherwise than a normal top coat other than the finish. she didn’t let me keep my second hand under the uv long enough to let it dry and the fans were horrible so those didn’t help. not 20 minutes later was one of my nails already chipped. i had done nothing except sit in the passenger side of the car. she didn’t check at all if my nails were actually dry. nice people, but abysmal prices, abilities, and end results. it’s okay if you want to spend a lot of money, but otherwise i would recommend Show Hand Nails which is just across from the mall. The have great prices ($45 for gel nail AND shaped), and seem to have more ability overall. plus they are upfront about their prices and don’t try to sneak them in once you’ve already started.Edit: Reading the other reviews and it seems like their prices are totally inconsistent. some had to pay $50, $52, etc, which is still way overpriced but we were told $60. pick a lane.

Firstly they are overpriced. i went in for a gel set only & they charged me $60. the whole experience itself was awkward and fairly painful. the man who did my nails hurt me multiple times, and even made 3 different fingers bleed. i nearly refused to pay. not only did they make me bleed, but the girl next to me bled as well. they tried to give me and my boyfriend both a water and a dry cake to make us happy, which failed. im never in this area of indiana but if i ever am again, im sure i wont ever go back.

The people there where rude. Me and my friends payed 30$ for a full set and walked out with nails that looked horrible. We will never be going back to that nail place. The place is very clean and looks nice but their work is junk. I got a full set last Saturday, Friday when I got home from work my pointer finger nail came completely off (I work a desk job) I went back in yestersay (Saturday) and told them what happened they gladly fixed it for me and CHARGED me. She advised they have a 2 day policy and I had to pay. Got home was watching TV Saturday night and my pinky nail fell off. Im just taking the set off and cutting my losses. Never go here, they are never busy for a reason, they get horrible reviews for a reason. I really wish I would have read them first.

I dont normally get my nails done and while I was out on lunch with a coworker we had randomly decided to go ahead and spoil ourselves a little. I got a full set done with gel polish. The staff was very friendly, and that was probably the only good thing about my experience. By the end of it my cuticals were steadily bleeding and there was a very unattractive thick coat of polish on my nails. On my thumb nails you can clearly see she didnt smooth anything down and I have lovely air bubbles under the polish. And there was so much of my nailbed visable it looked like I had been wearing the nails for a couple weeks when Im reality I had just put them on. I was charged $52 for this and let me tell you, it was not worth it in the least. My coworker was unsatisied with her nails as well. I will not be returning.

They told me i could get a fill in for gail powder then started sanding my nails down just to have the boss tell me she cant do it because it takes to long ! DO NOT GO TO THEM !

My friend and I had an appointment with Glace’ Nail on Friday 2/22/2013. We both requested pedi/mani services. We were told that we could get both within an hour for each of us. This was a complete waste of time and more importantly money! Manager did such a poor job, fellow employee came and tried to salvage pedicure but to no avail! Neither of our heels were done, and toes were as if a drunk driver with a 3.0 BAC had did our toes!! My finger nails were so crooked that I looked as if I had horrible arthritis! If your time and money mean anything to you, save both and never go to Glace’ nails. I called the shop as soon as we got back to work, manager was out of shop and I left message and never received a call back. Oh and I better not forget to mention that the services cost $86.00 and they offered no apologies or reduction in payment. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Beautiful place, warm environment. CLEAN! And they clean theyre tools and tubs right away, which is big for me. Staff are friendly and kind. Cant remember the guys name, but he got my edges once! AND that was it after that. He was very careful!Finally result not so good, the shape was kind of fat and chunky looking, I like natural looking nails, I have an overlay on my natural nail.Pedi, omg! I loved it. The massage was great, the care was there right up until the end, it was close to closing time, and clearly the lady was ready to go home! Shr snatched, and I was actually surprised by this! those little toe dividers things (sorry guys) off of my feet. I tell you, I was about to snap her head off! UNFORTUNATELY my toe nails werent all the way dry, but she felt they were! :-). The tip of my big toe nail, the polish chip off since it wasnt dry.So in a nut shell, they start off great, but fail to sell and deliver their products. I dont have time for you to rush me out, I paid 29 for the pedi and I paid 32 for a gel fill. I pay less for better jobs! BR NAILS in Broadripple and Ivy nails in Brownsburg. Andy Nails right there on Rockville road. SO, many places can do both and save you plenty of money!Either you learn to deliver product or youre going to run your business dry.:-) happy spa days :-)

Service was good but the final product was less than desireable. When I left the salon my nails looked like they had been done a week ago, not an hour ago.

1. Went in there and this child of the corn kept looking at me her mom was rude to.2. Horrible! Don’t waste your time here. If you do go in make sure you are VERY specific on the price and the product you want! They charge 25$ just for gel tip (its only polish and a uv light). I went in for a Pedi and a French mani (white tips with fake nail) I stated 5 different tie that I wanted the French mani, the tech stated she understood how ever she continued to do a reg mani on me with no fake nails. i even talked to her about how I never get my nails done without the fake tips. Then at the end as she started to put polis on it stated again FAKE nails. Then she says oh! I’ve already done the reg manicure on you. They wanted to charge me almost 100$ for it all. I didn’t let her finish my nails. the owner was very very rude! when I refused to pa for the mani that I didn’t as for the owner called me a thief. HORRIABLE!

At 7:15pm I was turned away stating they were closed, and the sign on the door clearly states they close at 8pm. This has made me reevaluate how I spend my money.

Got a pedicure and manicure and it didn’t even last 24 hours. Total waste of money. I won’t go back

The woman made me feel uncomfortable, didn’t paint my nails right and asked to redo them, shaped multiple nails wrong, and cut one of my fingers.

Good experience. On the expensive side.

Worst experience ever I walked in the guy told me 10 min a lady walked in he gave her a bottle of water and a piece of cake before I knew it he called her back and I was just sitting there over priced and ignorant people do not go here
