Due to a previous positive experience tinting a Corvette here, I decided to use their services again to tint a new Tesla.I setup an appointment with this company about a month ago. The work had to be split into two appointments since the rear window was an abnormal size and tint had to be ordered. They also had to order vinyl for wrapping the chrome trim on the car. At the time of the first appointment, I mentioned that due to my schedule I can only come in on a Saturday for the following appointment. I was told that the schedule could be worked out with the installer. At the time the work was being performed I noticed that the tint was being cut on the rear window. I didn’t think much of it at the time since I am not an expert and I have seen this in previous tint jobs. However, it was odd since I was specifically told that there would be no cutting on the car. After the side windows were tinted, I had no reason to doubt the quality of the work and unfortunately did not check the work and the car. Over the next few days I noticed bubbles that were still there and upon closer examination - improper cuts and bubbles at various locations (pics attached). I informed the shop of this and they assured me that everything would be taken care of in the second appointment. I also noticed cut marks on the trim while washing the car but I figured that is not a problem since they would be vinyl wrapping the trim anyway.After this point it was just excuse after excuse. They couldn’t schedule on Saturday (like they originally assured me they would) so I had to re-work my schedule to come in on Friday. The tint/vinyl never seemed to arrive. The appointment that has been schedule more than a week in advanced was cancelled the day before because the installer was no longer employed there. They finally offered to complete the tint and replacement of any imperfections on August 8th/9th (a full 1.5 months from the initial appointment). They also let me know that the vinyl wrapping would not be completed at this time. Since they would not be vinyl wrapping the trim and the cuts would be exposed, I let them know about the damage. They refused to take responsibility for the trim damage and only offered a refund for the services that were completed so far. Up until this point I could have just forgotten this entire experience and moved on with life.But when the owner called me everything really went down hill. With such a poor attitude and non-existent dispute resolution skills it is a wonder that this person decided to contact a customer directly. He was combative, adamant and very dismissive of anything I said. He constantly interrupted and talked over me. It was impossible to have any dialog with him. I let him know that I saw the tint being cut on the frameless rear window, which is what caused the damage. He was adamant that there is no way that the tint would be cut on the window. I asked him to check with the installer if it was cut on the window and he flat out stated that he does not need to check with the installer. I am absolutely flabbergasted that after delaying the entire job for a month now and constantly changing appointments/agreements, absolutely resolving none of the issues and damaging my new car that this person would be so combative on the phone. Not one apology at all for anything. He offered the refund, which I decided to take. When I contacted the company over email to inquire how they will issue the refund, they ignored me. Perhaps they think by ignoring me they would not even need to provide the refund.I don’t even care about any refund for the trim damage. The trim is only $45 each and I can replace both damaged pieces myself. I feel compelled to write this review out of principal. The owner seems to believe that he can never be wrong and that consumers have no recourse. I have decided to file a dispute with my credit card company with evidence and also file a complaint with the regional consumer protection office.

Had a very positive experience getting tint put on my car. The facility is well maintained and clean. This is not an ordinary garage like most places you find in Pittsburgh. It is truly a unique & modern facility. Their staff are all professionals and they work quickly and do a terrific job. Pricing was excellent, and the quality of the film they use is above the rest. This is the place to go if you need tinting services and want to deal with professionals.

I would give U.S. Film Crew and their staff ten stars if I could. From my initial contact with Weatherly (shes an impressive start!), to the price quote, and finally installation, they have exceeded my expectations. Their price was comparable to others, if not better, plus their customer service has been exceptional. Add to that I had some personal matters that delayed the installation and their kind words and willingness to accommodate my schedule will never be forgotten. Lastly the installation was done today and I cant believe my eyes! It looks amazing and our installer, Ryan, couldnt have been more professional. We just purchased a new home and one of our biggest concerns was the heat and glare that came through our master bedroom window. We called U.S. Film Crew and they walked us through the options that would help resolve the issue and recommended their solar window film. We scheduled an appointment on Friday and they were out the following Monday. Cant believe how much of a difference it made! Just want to give a huge thank you to Keith, our installer! I took my car in today to get window tint. I went with a lighter film (50), but I was looking for a classy look. From emailing Jake a couple weeks ago to installation, the process was smooth and professional. I waited at the facility and Jake was done in a little over two hours. It turned out great for my needs and wishes. The staff was professional, courteous, and willing to assist in any way. If I ever want to get a darker film in the future, I will definitely take my car to U.S. Film Crew.

I got the windows on my car tinted last week and it looks great! Everyone at US Film Crew did a fantastic job. All my questions were answered and the installation was perfect. The facility was very well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend US Film Crew for any window tinting job.

I would recommend and tell anyone that wanted their windows tinted to go here. My tint look absolutely perfect, it seriously looks like It came out the factory like that. Jake is extremely good at what he does and he is knowledgeable and he is cool as hell, hell explain everything and is super professional. The whole staff was great. Even the owner will talk to you and he is super cool and professional. And wheatherly ( the woman at the front desk) she is probably the nicest person I had ever met. My husband Don had a new car windows tinted here, and said it was the best job he has ever had. He has had cars tinted in many states and said this was the best job by far. Everyone there is great to work with, and the building is very clean and well decorated.

U.S. Film Crew completed a small project on my home. I was getting intense heat through our front windows. You could feel it everytime you walked on by. They installed window film on all the front windows and said it would block all of the UV rays and over 90% of the heat gain, they called it. As soon as the film went on, it was a notable difference. They also said it would protect the furniture, carpets as well which I have definitely noticed fading happening. They were fast, professional and the pricing was reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to my neighbors :)

A couple months ago I had my Nissan Altima tinted with 15% on all 5 windows. Jake was spectacular and I was 100% satisfied with the window film. Everyone from the front desk and all the workers walking past, they all made me feel comfortable. 5 Stars in my book. Recommending US Film Crew to all my friends!

Best Tint shop in the Pittsburgh Area. Hands down. Only guys I trust to put film on my cars. employees are great and know their stuff and the shop is always neat and clean.

I took my brand new red Chevy Corvette in for paint protection film. When I got it back, there was many mistakes with the film and dirt under the film. I brought it back to have it redone and after getting it back a 2nd time, again there was many particles under the film noticeable from a distance. I had to take the car back a 3rd time which was there for 3 weeks. Again very disappointed with the quality of work done. The shop is not set up for this type of work. Open spaces with doors open and fans on and poor lighting will not net good results in my opinion.
