The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. It was a pleasure working with a local women owned and operated business, Post Script Productions. The team was very supportive of our mission and was able to capture memorable moments through video and still photography. Dress for Success Pittsburgh offers mobile services and programming to local women who can’t come to one of our 4 boutiques because of transportation barriers in preparation for an interview, new job, or training program out of the trunks of their own vehicles. Thanks to months of planning, grant writing, donor support and the 2018 Signature Women Rock Pittsburgh fundraiser, the Dress for Success Pittsburgh team was able to purchase two mobile boutiques where they can now reach women more efficiently than ever before.This year, Post Scripts Productions will be creating a continuation of the 2018 video and showcase the new mobile boutiques and programming. The video will feature footage from mobile launch celebrations and a mobile event. The video will be debuted at the annual signature event, Women Rock Pittsburgh held on Friday, October 4 at the UMPC Club in Heinz Field. Supporters of this fundraising effort are invited the signature event for a peek of the boutiques that they generously contributed to. We’re excited to have Post Scripts Productions on this journey with us to empower local women.
