I called them to tell them I was looking for parking and they informed me of the 9 minute grace period. My appointment was at 3:45 and I walked in as the clock hit 3:54pm and they had already cancelled my appointment. If you want to have this grace period you need better parking. I feel that it was because they wanted to close early because of the parades.

I absolutely love Liz. She does my eyebrows so perfect, I told her I refuse to let anyone else touch them. This location makes you feel comfortable during the wax and they do such a good job getting all the unwanted hair.

Ive been afraid of waxing for, well...forever. I havent had the best experience using at home waxing or sugaring kits. But I sucked it up, made an appointment, and didnt cancel it. It was fast, clean, friendly, and easy. My specialist, Liz, didnt make me feel weird about being scared and her confidence was reassuring. My discomfort was minimal and the anxiety is so much less when you put your trust in someone else! Highly satisfied. First one is free but would 100% go back

I am a first time customer for a back wax. I walked into the facility 9 minutes after my appointment time because I drove 40 minutes and could not find anywhere to park. I rushed in and was informed they had a 9 minute policy and could not accommodate me. I checked my email, and this was never noted. It simply said if running late then call. She then told me that they book in 15 minute increments for every service. While my back is very minimally hairy, how this is possible for someone that had a lot is beyond me.I noted that this was a $63 service and I would have tipped $20, but now I will never frequent this establishment again, or any of their others. If this is true that appointments are 15 minutes, then it needs to be clearly noted on a website or email so that you can be aware there is ZERO flexibility in timing. Very disappointed in this service.

Their technicians work really hard and are great at making you feel comfortable while ensuring all of your wants/needs are met during the service. The receptionist staff are great too and very accommodating of schedule conflicts, changes, etc. I only take one star off for the interior and thats not the fault of the staff, but the owner. The rooms need a makeover, as well as their lobby. A coat of paint and new beds would go a loooonnnggg way to help make the experience better. The staff are very meticulous and clean, but with rundown beds and cruddy walls, there isnt much they can do for the appearance.

I love European Wax Center. Every time I go for a service the ladies are super sweet and on time. When you arrive you have to scan the qr code on the door to let them know you are there. They will send a text message when your room is ready and sanitized. My wax specialist Demi was the best. She made me feel comfortable. I will definitely go again.

This company is DEDICATED to health and safety- they have a no-contact check in system and protect their employees. The individual suites are sanitized after every customer and the aestheticians do a remarkable job keeping the environment easy breezy.

Their online booking/reservation system (and locations EVERYWHERE) makes it super easy to book an appointment. Ive been to a few different locations in Pittsburgh (and in other states - services are always consistent) and this one is my favorite. Ive had the best experiences with Ashanti at this location so I usually try and book my appointments with her.

Ive been on hold for 30 min and got hung up on. Unfortunately, this location doesnt offer online appointment scheduling or I wouldve gone that route. I love Kiara, but if I cant contact someone to even schedule an appt, how can I use your location?

Went for a Brazilian today... it was my second wax of my life and my 1st here. It only took 20 mins, then I went home. In that 10 minute drive I had bled through my jeans and found I still have hair down there...in the center of it all....where I wanted it gone most. The water was nice but I didn’t get what I asked for obviously.

Ashanti was amazing! Very personable! I’m giving this 1 star and here’s why. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment and was told to come back in 15 minutes! They made me leave the store because they were busy having a holiday pot luck! It’s nice to have a pot luck but don’t make a paying customer stand outside the store while you finish stuffing your face! I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the women that told me to come back; she must’ve been the manager. If you’re going to have a pot luck do it in the back of the store so paying customers have somewhere to sit inside instead of standing outside in the middle of December. This was my first time there and I didn’t get a good first impression... Ashanti, if you read this, you were amazing!

I went to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time at EWC today. I had Kiara at the Squirrel Hill Location. I highly recommend booking with her! She made the whole experience of ripping hairs out of your body much less scary than it sounds. She talked to me the whole time, which ended up distracting me (very much appreciated). The first experience was very professional and pleasant. Hot wax typically results in a fair amount of breakouts for me, but the wax here did not cause the same reaction. The wax was thicker and slightly cooler, and my skin handled this much better. I went during their opening week, and I was very pleased with the result. I scheduled a follow-up to see if the next appointment goes similarly!

I had always liked this wax center. I go every month to get my Brazilian. But todays service from the front counter was very unprofessional and made me feel super uncomfortable. So I had went in there and got a wax done. The whole process went well and the lady who was doing it was very nice and did a good job. When it was time to pay, I guess their card machines werent working. I was being helped by Heather who claims to be the owner. When she realized they werent working, she asked me Well do you have another card? I told her no. Then she looked at me and said Ok soooooo how are we gonna handle this payment? Just assuming that it was my job to resolve the situation. I told her that my plan was to pay with my card like I said. So then she said Well theres a PNC down the street. You can go there. Never said anything like oh Im sorry that the machine isnt working or im sorry for the inconvenience I felt like that was real unprofessional and that she could have atleast showed a little concern but instead she just had an attitude like it was my fault. Treated rudely! Had a scheduled appointment for 5:30. Arrived at 3 to see if she could take me earlier. Couldn’t, but no big deal. Came back at 4:40, told the girls I would just sit and do work. I answered a call, then was told she could take me early now. She came out and said come on back. I was still on the phone and I said let me wrap up give me one moment. She said she had an appointment coming in at 5 and that I was late. I said no. My appt is at 5:30. I’d be happy to wait until my time. She was rude to me, walked me out only to find out that I wasn’t he late appointment! I kept walking out the door and will not return.

I had such a great experience with Ashanti I greatly recommend her she’s kind and gentle and made me feel comfortable getting my first Brazilian wax I’m looking forward to seeing all the girls at the squirrel hill location again in a few weeks 🤗!

OMG....What can I say about this place? So many words come to mind.... Amazing, top if the line, absolutely LOVE IT!!!! Ive been going here for a few years now and I have never been disappointed they are extremely professional. They do such a great job. They make me feel as comfortable as one can be getting a wax!!!! The price isnt bad either. Every tech I have ever had has been amazing. Most recently I received services with kiara at the squirrel hill location. Im speechless! She was incredible!!! I do have to let you all know i was told that the bethel park location is owned by someone different. Although it is a European wax center I was told they run things a little different as far as technique and training. I did not have the best experience at the bethel park location, but squirrel hill, Shadyside and murrysville are grade A!!! U cant go wrong!!!

I’m incredibly dissatisfied with what ive received. I’ve had full-arm waxes that took half an hour and were impeccable, this took an hour and a half and is just shoddy. There’s spots of hair left everywhere, and my arms are literally sticking together from the wax that was neglected to be removed. I can pull out most of the leftover hair with my fingers, but they were entirely missed by the wax. There’s also tearing of my skin and clotting up and down my arms. I’m never coming back to this location (this is a spam google account because I don’t feel it necessary to use my real one with my real name).

I had a new person in training who needed someone in room to oversee. Went in for hair removal by wax and left still needing hair removal. Once home after inspection still had hair and very big piece of wax. They stayed in the room while i got undressed and dressed. At point the person needed to go out the room she went right out with me laying on table undressed uncovered.. the paper you lay on for sanitary reasons was cheap and torn soon as i got on table abs kept tearing with every movement. Wax experience was quite traumatic with going over what seemed to be the dance pace many times. This was not my first wax but it was my first wax here. This is maybe like my 5th wax. I doubt Ill ve back. People were nice. Had i known id have had to remove hair and wax at home i wouldve kept my 20. Tip

At first I was a little discouraged after challenges with parking but once I was seen for my appointment, Kiara B made it worth it. She was great. Very friendly and professional, and explained all steps in the process as well as provided advice on skin care dos and donts and how to get the most out of my wax. This first experience was the deciding factor whether I was going to continue despite inconvenient parking, and I am definitely coming back.

I went to get my eyebrows done and there was two people in the lobby waiting. The receptionist athey asked me if I had an appointment, I said yes and asked me to take a seat and my waxer will be with me soon.....she is just wrapping up. I said okay sat down and waited, and I see people come in and get seen ( but I think maybe they had an appointment even though I had one as well) and I saw someone come out but Im I was 5 thinking okayminutes early so I will continue to wait. So when my appointment timec around at 3:30; Im waiting and waiting and nothing from the three girls at the front desk about me waiting which would have been nice to hear maybe sorry...shell be with you shortly...just nothing. So finally finally 10 minutes later my stylist Demi comes out and takes me to the back...she seems polite which is nice and she proceeded to do my eyebrows. I said I wanted them to be cleaned up of all of my stray hairs. Now Ive been to European Wax center many of times and typically before they apply any product once theyre done waxing my eyebrows....they ask me is it okay if I fill in your eyebrows; this waxer didnt. Im sitting to get my eyebrows done and I just I was blissed-out so I wasnt aware that she was filling my eyebrows till it was too late. She showed me eyebrows and they looked okay....so Im just hoping that underneath all is a powder or whatever that they look nice. I get home and find that she left hair, when on all I wanted was for my eyebrows to be cleaned up but she didnt even do that all of the way and unfortunately with the powder it was hard to see what was what. So I a fortunately wont be going wont be back to see Demi.... Im not too sure about this Branch either maybe giving Forbes Avenue one another chance or Im just going to go back to my original place.
