We are so thankful for Capital City Floors and the work Josh did! We bought an older home that had original oak floors under carpet for 90 years. Josh was quick to return my call with a scheduled time to estimate the job for us. He was friendly, trustworthy and a very hard worker most of all! He worked with us to complete the job before the move in date even though it meant late nights for him. He refinished an entire 1900 sq. foot home in 4 days! He didnt cut corners and was very honest through the whole process about expectations and cost of supplies. I would hire them again in a heart beat! First 3 pictures are before. Josh with CCF was awesome. They were accommodating and did a wonderful job at a great price. Josh worked harder, staying till 10pm to help our family move in faster. He gave great recommendations and our floors turned out great. Very happy with their service! Thank you Josh!

I called them and ken came out the next and gave me an great low price quote so I scheduled them. Then when josh showed up to do the work did an awesome job making the floors look 20 times better then they orginally were. If you need people that do a great job for a really good price capital city floors are the people you want.

Kenny and Josh did an absolutely amazing job on our hardwood floors. We had them refinish the entire house. They were here every day on time and were very respectful about cleaning up. We are above happy at the final result. Would definately recommend them!!

Josh and Kenny came in and saved the day for us. I cannot recommend them enough! Incredibly professional, clean and focused - took them less than a week to finish our house (first floor, second floor and stairs). They were extremely transparent throughout the process regarding costs, timing and materials. We could not be happier with how our floors turned out. This was a large project as we had to have 2000 square feet of old floors demod and install of new hardwood floors, including stairs. These guys are great. They worked me into their schedule and worked late to get the job done before I moved in. My floors look amazing. The patches are flawless and toothed in nicely. Extremely unprofessional. They do not answer the phone EVER. Absolutely do not use this company. Hire someone more professional who actually completes the work they claim they do. They will lie about what work they will do at the estimate. 0 integrity. And yes josh I 100% have the correct business LOL

Moved into a new house where we installed new unfinished maple hardwood all through out. Hired someone initially who took 7 weeks to just finish the upstairs (Mike Griffin - do NOT use him) . Not only was that timing unacceptable but he charged almost double what every one else quoted and banged up all my walls which we had to repaint.I then called capital city and they gave me a much more affordable quote to finish the first floor in addition to timing that they stuck too (3 days). After being able to compare the 2 jobs, I noticed how the upstairs didnt get puddy in the cracks and its extremely noticeable compared to the first floor.We were extremely pleased with capital citys attention to details and sticking to their word which is a rarity in construction. Highly recommend

Im very happy that I chose to go with Capital City Floors. I was on a very tight time constraint and they were able to get the job done within the time frame I needed them to with a great end result. They guys were polite and very nice to deal with. I have recommended them to a few of my neighbors and would use them again!

VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP. I wish I had read the reviews on Capital City Floors before we contracted with them. The quality of work was very poor and will probably have to be re-finished. We see sanding swirl marks all over the floor at night when the overhead lights are on. They also did not sand the floor all the way to the wall. The large sander stopped about 8 inches from the wall. I assumed they would use a smaller unit to go up to the wall. They did not and again we can see the difference in finish when the lights are on. Aron was constantly asking for cash money saying he wanted his wife not to see a check. Once paid he would not fix his mistakes. I will have to have the floor repaired at a cost to me unfortunately. I would not recommend this contractor

I was a little concerned at first as I had a lot of projects going on simultaneously. Capital City Floors was able to work around the other guys I had in there and get the job done right. My floor looks great and my partner and I couldnt be happier.

They sent someone out on August 9th to give me a quote. He said he would have it to me by the end of they day. Ive called them at least 5 times the last 2 months and left messages, and still dont have an estimate on October 8th. Disappointed in the lack of response and professionalism.

I hired Capital City to refinish the hardwood floors in my entire house (primarily for a big stain in front room) in 2016, based on a recommendation. Now I have sanding marks around the baseboards and scratches where there were none. I overlooked most of that but, when the stain started to show through again, I had them come back to look at it (a couple of months later in early 2017). They said they’d have to replace the boards which was something we had known could happen. I agreed and the owner indicated that since it was a small job they work it in when they could. Well, here we are middle of 2018 and I’ve never heard from them again. As I reflect back on the money that I spent I do not feel that I received value as my floors are quite possibly worse than they were before hiring capital city floors and they have never followed up on additional services.

Let me start off by saying I’m never one to write reviews, but we were blown away with Capital City Flooring! Not only did the floors look beyond beautiful but they did a house full of hardwood it a timely and clean fashion. Josh was who did ours and he was feeling miserable from a cold but never complained once and finished a day earlier than expected. If you guys don’t use this company you are truly missing out! Between the quality floors you will get and competitive pricing they are hands down the best! Everyone that comes through our doors wants them to do theirs! They were too good not to write a review on so here you go! You’re welcome everyone😊

Should have known these guys were bad news when they asked me for tools to do their job on the very first day. Two months later (they promised a 2 week job) the results look terrible and the work is going to have to be redone.

I had my kitchen floor refinished in March by Capital City Floors. They did an excellent job and they come highly recommended!
