Excellent and friendly staff. No pressure sales. Clean facility. No intimidation, like weight dropping. Only downsides, theres no hot tub and the pool uses chlorine instead of salt (although the chlorine is mild.)

I’m from Pennsylvania and me and the wife went to ocean city and decided to stop at this location before going home. The staff was excellent and it was probably one of the cleanest La Fitnesses I have been to and I have been to many. So good job to the staff and management we will stop in again!!!!

I met with Alan when I came here and he toured the whole gym with me. He was very helpful and insightful and answered all my questions. I was debating on which gym to sign up with but he definitely gave me a reason to sign up here. Great place.

Horrible handling of covid-19 contracts. I have been getting charged $180 each month even though my account has been FROZEN due to a personal training contract. I explained that my husband was high-risk and that we could not come into the gym right now, but they were completely unsympathetic. They said that I could use my training credits when I am able to come back into the gym, but ONLY if I pay a $40 monthly fee on top of my monthly dues for the right to use credits that I would have already paid for. They are essentially double charging me even though my husband is high risk. I would have happily continued paying the $180 monthly fee if I wasnt told that I would have to keep paying $40/month to use it at a later time. But I cannot stand to be double charged due to a public health crisis. It is so unethical. It is no surprise that legislation is being proposed to deal with this exact situation. I plan to complain to my local government officials, the FTC, and to join any class action started on this front. Ill also be taking my luxury fees to a competitor. Bye LA Fitness.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Alan in regards to a gym membership at the LA Fitness in Marlton. I have been unhappy with my current gym and hesitant to explore other options but am really glad that I made the call. Alan did a great job of answering my questions and providing all relevant information for me to feel comfortable to move onto checking out the gym on a tour. A reason for my initial hesitancy was that my prior experience with gyms has been an over-aggressive and forceful approach to signing up for the gym. I can say that Alan completely changed my stance on this and did a great job listening and reassuring without any feeling of pressure. I highly recommend giving Alan a call if you are having any doubts at your current gym or looking for a place to start working out!

La fitness has the worst communication when it comes to memberships. During the pandemic we missed months of our membership because we did not feel comfortable going to the gym during the pandemic. I was told by one worker that there were no refunds but that we could come back to our membership anytime we’d like when we felt comfortable to come back. They also said we were not able to freeze the account but today they are telling me that it was possible but the worker a couple months ago misinformed me. I’m now trying to go back after I got my vaccine but they said that the membership expired and there’s nothing that can be done unless I want to renew a whole another YEAR! More money out of my pockets for their mistake of poor communication and lack of training taught to the workers that are spreading misinformation. Lost nearly half the year of our membership due to covid and no compensation. Very frustrating that nothing can be done with the Covid pandemic. La fitness does not seem to care about the health and well-being of the their members because they just want your money.

This LA Fitness is noticeably better than the ones in surrounding towns. Their staff is amazing and I can tell they operate the gym well. My favorite thing about working out here is the vibes and ambience.. it’s a great community of regulars all whom are very friendly.

Visiting from GA, so taking Cycle class with ONLY 5 bikes in the room AND wearing my mask DURING the 45min class was definitely an experience.

I love the swimming pool. The fitness center is so clean & the people that work there are very nice. Also they do temperature checks.

No one wears masks or hardle cleans machines after the sweat on it. Staff does not clean machines either.

Great gym, go here 2 sometimes 3 times per week, everyone is always friendly and the place is spotless clean.

Absolutely horrified by this gym and it’s employees. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I don’t know why the manager doesn’t hire people who actually work but she isn’t any better. She’s always talking to one of the girls at the front. Most of the girls are nice, the young lady with the face shield seems to cause issues with customers frequently which is unacceptable. Will definitely be relocating

I am very disappointed and aggravated with my latest visit to LA fitness marlton NJ. I went there in the morning and was about to play in the racquetball courts and was informed that if I play alone then I’m fine to do so but if I play with other people then I cannot do so. I agreed to thoes terms and continued playing mind you that I pay extra to reserve the courts to play and that’s the only reason me and my family are members of the gym. I have been playing like this for a few days now and didn’t receive any problems but one night one of there associates came over to me and told me that I’m not allowed to play and when I asked her about the other people allowing me she just said straight out no and walked away. It is the skinny blond lady that works at the front desk. When I went to her and asked if she can cancel my pass for getting reservations for racquetball she said no she can’t do that and that the club is plenty big for me to do other things besides that. I was very mad and was about to cause a scene until the other guy at the front desk calmed me down and she walked away I talked to him and he helped me out if it was not for him I was going to cancel my membership she needs to be disaplined and retrained on how to deal with costumers

A gym swamped with cliquey ego-lifters who are too incompetent to properly wear a mask while working out. Lazy, cowardly staff DO NOT ENFORCE the simple mask mandate, therefore making this facility a considerable risk for the spread of an already deadly, apocalyptic pandemic.

LA Fitness is awesome. I came in for a tour as I was interested in getting a new membership. I was so impressed with the tour. The place is extremely clean and the environment is very conducive to getting a good productive work out. Mike and Tyson helped me with my membership and they were amazing. Did not pressure me in anyway, and they let me come back days later to solidify the activation of my membership. This is the place where sales people usually lose the sale. I walk out and I never come back. “Yeah I’ll see you guys tomorrow!” Boom. Gone. But not with these two. I was happy to return on my own, without their calling and hassling to prompt a return. I am now a happy member of LA Fitness! Thanks, guys!

Good clean gym

Nice LA Fitness, still kind of new. Love the fact it has free weights. Seems things that need to be fixed take a little longer to get done but beyond that very much dig this location.

Being new to the area, I had tried a few gyms out before choosing this one. Not only did I need to find a gym that had all the equipment my previous gym had, but it also had to be sizable enough for me not to have to wait to use the equipment on days I needed to be in and out quickly. Thankfully, I was able to find those amenities here. Upon first joining, the staff was friendly and eager to give me a tour and help me settle in by answering any questions I had. One thing I can say is that the place is kept very clean, and all the equipment is properly maintained. I would however like to point out that there are no squirt bottles to spray down the machines. Instead, patrons are expected to go to the various paper towel stations around the gym, and clean the equipment that way. Some people might find the constant back and forth a little tedious, but not wanting to walk a little extra in a gym kind of defeats the point, in my opinion. Another thing I would like to point out is that the staff, though accommodating, will try very hard to sell you all their services. This is very informative, but also makes you feel like you cant say No, as it is not treated like an option. All in all, I would definitely recommend becoming a member just for the sheer accommodation alone, plus its a chain, so you can visit any location and workout there. Give it a try!

When I walked in for my apt, I was greeted at the door. The environment was very friendly. I was introduced to the staff and shown around. The club itself was clean and I love the fact that there are TVs on the equipment. I had received a better deal then what was online and picked my plan out. The customer service was so amazing I got my family to come there with me. When I am there, because I don’t miss any of my shows while I work out, I don’t realize how long I’m on the bike. I’m super excited to try the cycle classes. Maybe some yoga. If you don’t have a membership you should look into in.

This is the best gym in the area!! The staff are super friendly, and have great tips for getting started at the facility. The equipment is all in great shape, and is always clean and ready to be used. Other members are super respectful and patient, rarely do you have to wait for a machine to free up. Love this gym, thank you to Mike for getting me all set up!!

This is a great club I love attending the classes the lady understanding and helpful. They don’t judge you and it’s a nice environment. The people are friendly and helpful. I love that my kids have a place to play while I work out.

Michael was incredible. He helped me through getting a pass and explaining the membership process. He was kind and gave very valuable insight. He is an asset to the company and is to be commended for his work. The gym is clean and the staff friendly. 5 stars!

Mike and John are great. No pressure about joining, they let the fitness center speak for itself. Very clean, new machines and a pleasant, positive environment to work out in! Pool very clean and floor to ceiling windows running the length of the pool.

The gym is really clean and a good location with all of the shops and food places around it. The staff is always really friendly and very personable. I sat down with Mike Miranda to speak about a membership and also took a tour. He was very interested in helping me achieve my fitness goals, but not pushy like most sales people can be. I enjoy the atmosphere especially the cardio equipment being upstairs. I also like that the training area is in the center of the gym. You are able to see what the trainers are doing with clients. If you are interested in signing up and having a good experience set up a time to meet with Mike.

Great gym with a lot of really nice equipment. A pool to swim laps and a basketball court if you wanna switch up your cardio. Also, if you have a problem with going away, they always will provide help with your membership.

Went to LA Fitness in Marlton with no real expectations as I had never been there before. After sitting down with Mike Miranda, I quickly decided that I wanted to try the facility out. It is a very clean space with a ton a great equipment. Mike was not pushy and was a pleasure to work with. I highly suggest going to see Mike and letting him show you around!

Would be 5 stars, except some of the most popular machines they only have 1 of, often resulting in a wait. Also during promotions offered gets really crowded. Rowing machines seriously in need of an upgrade. Also I have never seen a single person in the kids club, need to utilize that space for more weight machines and juice bar

Great facility, the only problem is there is no structure with regulations on the basketball court. You have groups of individuals coming from Camden that monopolize the court and wont allow younger members to get any runs or playing time when they pick teams exclusively for their group and friends. This should be structured much better to allow all members to play.

The gym is disgusting and and a stereotypical commercial gym. no one puts any weights away, weights and bars are all over the floor, people bleed on the bars during deadlift and no one cleans it, equipment is constantly broken or out of order for days at a time. Idiots curl in the squat rack while they see people are waiting to squat

La Fitness in Marlton is the most convenient gym for a great price. There is plenty of equipment for anyone. Also, the gym is always clean and looks better than even some of the more expensive gyms I have gone to. Michael at the front is the best, and he makes things easy for anyone who wants to sign up. I recommend anyone looking for a great gym should go see him and you will agree.

They really do well with accommodating college students who leave for fall and spring semesters. Talk to mike, he will hook you up!

I just started. Michael and Nia were very helpful and friendly getting me all the information I needed to become a member. Its clean and low key. The rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Amazing experience! Place is extremely clean, staff very nice and willing to work with you. I recommend this location everytime a friend is looking for a gym. I am an out of state college student and plan to renew my membership when I return in the summer. Worth every penny!

This has become my main hub for the past couple month. It’s usually pretty clean and not too crowded. Mostly everything works and if it goes down it’s squally fixed in a hurry.

I really like this place there are so much machines available even when there’s a handful of people. I really do enjoy working out here. Definitely recommended this gym you won’t regret it. Friendly staff and looks very clean.

Brand new facility. Clean with good equipment. Very nice spacious locker room. The one thing I dont like is the they placed the physical training area right in the middle of the gym forcing you to walk around to go from one end to the other.

Mike was very helpful to our crew that came here for training. We are in the military and always look for a place to work out and Mike allowed us to work out while we were here. The facilities are great and the place is huge with all types of machines, free weights and racquetball courts.

Another LA Fitness just like all the others - overpriced, underwhelming and always busy. This company needs to modify their membership plans to better accommodate the changing needs of their customers; locking people in to stifled benefits without the ability to modify your options along the way is absurd in the 21st century, and good reason to force otherwise faithful patrons to seek alternatives elsewhere.

New LA Fitness center. Open less than a year, the club has plenty of equipment. There is an indoor pool and 3 racketball courts. Also a basketball court and a yoga/Zumba room and a spinning room as well. Staff is nice, and it has not been crowded during the 7 am to 9 am time frame. LA fitness has clubs all over so get the multi-club membership,.so you can go to different places.

Great equipment, employees and trainers very helpful. Pool is fantastic!! Locker rooms and common areas are always spotless which we all feel is so important!! Front desk always makes everyone feel welcome, would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Came here just to check out the facility on a guest pass and I met with a guy named Mark who did a good job explaining the membership and did a good job convincing me to get one. Highly recommend it to the next person who wants a good quality gym and good personnel.

The basketball courts are really nice it’s a great facility

Adjusting my review to a 3 star. Over the past month I have found several occasions when either multiple hand towel or soap dispensers were empty, one of the 2 water fountains was out of service for over a week, and the mens locker room floor looks as if it hasnt been thoroughly cleaned in weeks. When I inquired about the empty towel or soap dispensers I received excuses that they were waiting for a delivery or the manager knows about it and will get to it soon or just a smile and I will report it. For a location only open about a year and a half, the management of these important areas seems to he lacking at the moment. Hope it improves.

If you like to have your belongings stolen then join this gym. There are constant break ins in the locker room, your car keys will be stolen and your car broken into. If they cant get your keys they will just smash your windows.This all happens because there are NO SECURITY CAMERAS ANYWHERE!Enjoy, youve been warned.Enjoy, youve been warned.

Avoid!! We had an membership with them, tried to cancel many times. Wrote letters as they requested, they kept telling us our kids who are minors had to write letters to cancel their memberships. 6mo later accounts still active while we keep fighting to get the memberships closed. How many letters do we need to send in? We changed our credit cards, oh and they want their money, since they wont cancel our membership. Now they keep calling/harassing a minor (13yr old) wanting their money.

Has everything you need but a juice bar. Clean, new machines, as youre obviously gonna get from a new gym. Staff is friendly as well. But for me, I use a lot of free weights. And I go mostly during peak hours. The actual free weight area is pretty small so it feels like were all in each others way the whole time. Too much of the space is dedicated to the machine area. Id give it 3.5 stars if I could.

I got the opportunity to experience LA Fitness through their guest pass system. I loved it. Its a nice facility. It has up to date equipment & machines. Theres a variety of options from basketball to basketball. Afterwards I even got good use of their sauna. Overall it was a good experience. I will definitely be returing in the near future.

Gym is very clean and they have plenty of equipment (new!) and well maintained. Zumba class with Tashi is a great workout with lots of high energy. The locker room/common areas are spotless every time I use them, and they keep their workout areas very clean also. Staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone!

One if the better la fitness. Set up is good for cardio because its separated upstairs. The big downside to that is its suffocatingly hot most of the time.the employees rarely come up there, so they dont realize how stifling it is to run 4-7 miles in that heat. The two fans they have do nothing.The lifting area is broken into two areas, machines and free weights. The machines are very well thought out and spaced, but the lifting area is congested and confusing. Its frustrating to come into because their individual space is not well defined, so I always feel in someones way no matter where I am, despite the fact that Im a proficient lifter.

Nice gym, not so great staff. No one ever has the correct answers to questions related to your contract. Tyson may seem very helpful and knowledgeable at first. However, turns out he just makes false promises to get you into the gym and doesn’t follow through with any of it. I had a concern about something HE promised and not only was he rude, he didn’t remember any of it. Promised to call me back with a resolution and never did. In fact, he didn’t even remember the situation AGAIN. The gym is good but the staff needs work!
