I have been a member here for a full year now coming 5-6 days per week and it is a beautiful facility. Unfortunately, the experience has slowly been on the decline throughout 2021. I have discussed concerns with the staff on two occasions, but not much has changed except the prices increasing for new members. Below are a few of the main issues.Overcrowding: The gym has become a zoo and there are few times it feels like the capacity isnt being pushed to the limit or beyond it. Im not sure if this is due to too many members, more people leaving the house and less fearful of Covid, or maybe work from home declining and forcing everyone to go at peak times again. It is most likely a mix of all of these. They recently reorganized the weight room in an attempt to create more space, but this has only shuffled the problem around. There is rarely a time I go without needing to change a workout or waste time waiting for equipment.Alpha Classes: These are group classes that are conducted multiple times per week and always during peak times like 6am-7am on weekdays or 9am-10am on weekends. It is a significant factor in the overcrowding issue and it is increasingly frustrating for a majority of the membership to be impacted by 10 people. During these classes every power rack except for two are reserved for the class, which is very limiting. I should not have to plan my whole week or workout around a small group at this type of gym.Cleanliness: One of the highlights of this LifeTime is the locker room facility that includes showers, a cold plunge, a hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Lately there has been a noticeable lack of consistency in the upkeep of this area. There are regularly towels left all over the place and as of my last visit at least a third of the showers were inoperable. The cold plunge has also been discolored many days. Again, they are probably overwhelmed with the number of people. This morning there were six people in the small hot tub at once. I imagine it is difficult to keep up with. There has also been far less attention on the cleanliness of the weight area. During the height of Covid everyone was diligent about wiping down equipment and there was LifeTime staffing frequently doing so as well. This is understandable and somewhat out of their hands, but still disappointing. At the end of the day this is still a very nice gym and the location is excellent. There are really no comparable alternatives in the area which is why it is so popular and people are willing to pay a premium price. I am willing to continue paying the price as well, but it would be nice to see some sort of plan to address the explained issues. The concern is there is no real pressure to do anything as long as new people keep joining and there are no competitors. I will update this review if anything does change.

Ive been a member of the Lifetime Fitness Biltmore location since just about day one. I truly can not say enough good things about this place. From the cleanliness, to the unmatched amenities, and roof top pool, this is without question an experience that can not be found anywhere else in the valley. The staff is exceptional and the club has a community feel to it. If you can afford a premium club, this is the one for you. 10/10

This club is nicer than all other clubs in Phoenix area. Clean and upgraded. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool is nice and pretty. I also like their classes. Kids club is organized and my daughter enjoys their classes a lot. I’m happy with everything here other than the price of the membership. But you get what you pay for.

This is the newest Lifetime in Arizona! It’s there flagship location with the newest design. This is the double diamond 💎 level club!Lifetime Fitness/Athletic is the gold standard in fitness facilities!! More than a gym, it’s a luxury athletic resort located at the Biltmore Fashion Park on Camelback Road. Here you’ll find a rooftop pool and beach club, an expansive fitness floor, group fitness studios, upscale locker rooms — 105,000 stunning square feet.Pro Tip; set aside at least two hours to relax in the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and cold 🥶 plunge. Amazing sunset views from the third floor outdoor area!Plenty of activities to choose from, weights, cardio, classes (HIT, yoga, spin, and group circuit), basketball, third floor pool, relax in the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge. There’s also plenty of space to relax on the third floor outdoor and the cafe. The third floor has incredible views of the mountains, come in the evening for a glorious Arizona sunset view.

I am writing this review just for Maria at the lifespa, she deserves more than 5 stars because I have never been so happy with a haircut and the color she made for me is perfect! Not only is she a great conversationalist, but she loves what she does and is by far one of the best hair stylists I have had. Not only is she knowledgeable, but she really took the time to listen to my ideas of what I wanted that I couldnt really show her, and recommended different options and I am so happy with my results! Amazing gym. Reading some of the negative reviews really makes me question people’s sanity. “No different than LA Fitness.” Pretty sure the difference between this gym and LA Fitness is the difference between Skid Row and Rodeo Drive.Everything here is top Notch. Even the bathrooms smell great at all times. They provide towels, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, shave gel, and even free razors. I don’t been shower at home anymore. Sure it’s 7 times more expensive than anywhere else. But it’s worth it if you can afford it. I can’t believe this place doesn’t have 5 stars

Price compared to quality is well worth it. Always clean, always willing to help, and superb customer service. Bella who seems to always be at the front desk when I check in helped me when my app was having issues for weeks. It hasnt stopped working since! The thoughtfulness and willingness to help despite it being very busy was something that stuck out along with her always acknowledging my children when they are brought in on weekends. First off I have to say a special “thank you” to Bella, Tameron and Val! We are founding members and believed this was going to be a special fitness facility, and it truly is. We had been going month-month, paying a small fee to “pause” our membership and recently, the day after we became Empty Nesters, we decided to go back full time. Tameron and Bella we so helpful in reinstating our full member at the founding rate! Thank you thank you! We have been taking Devon’s barbell classes, Chris Colman’s spin class and Alex’s hot yoga- all amazing people and classes. We look forward to seeing Teri’s bubbly personality in the Life Cafe as well ;)

The locker rooms are stacked with tons of amenities (the eucalyptus steam room is my favorite) and there are TONS of group classes & opportunities to make friends at the gym. I love the lifebarre class with Beth - it’s so fun and hard! I love the rooftop pool and all the fun on the weekends! Then you dive into personal training and nutrition and it is CRAZY. I am extremely disappointed in the changes to LifeTime Biltmore. I am a founding member and they recently had the LT corporate office come in and change the layout of the fitness floor, for the worst. I pay an additional fee on top of my monthly membership for classes like Alpha (CrossFit style), GTX (Orange Theory style), etc. and this club continues to not make these classes any sort of priority. Now, the programming for these classes even requires equipment THEY SHIPPED BACK to MN. Even worse, the GM is more focused on rooftop pool parties and cabana rentals vs. members actual health and well-being in the gym. For what I am paying, I will be taking my money elsewhere where I am valued, have the equipment to do my work out effectively and feel like a priority.

First weekend of opening has been bumpy. The promised valet parking is no where to be found. Takes a while to find a parking space. The group fitness check-in iPad gets locked out. The main phone line goes directly to voicemail and no call backs. Im having trouble getting a hold of a live person to cancel a spa appointment. The coveted InBody body composition analyzer is not connected to their cloud for customer data retrieval, and it wasnt set up for printed result neither. The spin classroom has poor room acoustic that made it very difficult to understand what the instructor was saying. The positives? The gym is brand new and centrally located. The group fitness instructors are fantastic and fun.Life Time Biltmore really missed the mark after months of delay on its opening weekend. For being in the luxury athletic space, it is currently seriously lacking in value. Perhaps the overall gym experience may improve once the initial rush calms down and the parking situation gets sorted out (maybe?).

LTF Biltmore is a beautiful facility with lots of things for almost everyone - pools, yoga, spin classes, a wide range of included classes (as well as many additional fee classes), a cafe, spa, etc. Where they fall short, and this is a big deal when it is $200/mo to belong, is that they just have not gotten it quite right. The gym floor is almost always crowded to the point that you have to wait for popular equipment such as benches and the cross cables. A very large part of the floor is cardio equipment that seems to be mostly empty all the time. They could literally get rid of half of the CV equipment, reorganize the floor, and add twice as many benches and other popular equipment. The first floor seems to have a lot of under utilized space. Perhaps they could repurpose some of this as rooms for classes such as spin and expand the gym floor.I have belonged to LFT on and off for over 15 years mostly at the Scottsdale location (membership is about 1/3 cheaper at Scottsdale and even less in Tempe). Oddly, the most expensive club is, by far, the most crowded. In addition to tweaking the equipment to meet the needs of this club (different than most of the suburban clubs as it is primarily adults and not families more use of free weights, for example, they really need to cap the membership at a number lower than the current membership. In summary, this is a fantastic facility, The staff is great. They just need to rethink the gym floor and cut membership by 10 to 20%. As it is now, I quit as I can join much less expensive facilities and not have to repeatedly wait for equipment.

My experience with LIFETIME was great pre-pandemic. My account was put on hold - then back in January without any agreement on my end they started charging me for digital app services each month. I not once agreed or used these services. I contacted LIFETIME to get the charges removed & they threatened to have account closed in bad standing. I never once missed a payment previously. I asked for the $30 dollars to be removed but instead they thought it was more important to charge me for this automatically created digital app services charge to pad their profits but zero value for me as the customer. When a company charges you without consent for services you didnt agree & then doesnt want to make it right even for $30? Clearly the customer is not valued here at this LIFETIME. We paid several hundred dollars monthly pre-pandemic. After I cancelled 2 weeks previously - they again tried to take another $58.36 for pro-rated access to the gym in the FUTURE even though I cancelled everything two weeks previous. If I hadnt seen the email come through in time I wouldnt have been able to call. What BLOWS MY MIND FURTHER - is they then said my account would be closed in bad standing again. You cant make this up! - For a charge to access the facility in the future well past the cancellation date.LIFETIME has a great facility but I wouldnt recommend them to anyone with this level of customer service. No desire to make things right - at pennies to them. Maybe they should take some input from Jeff Bezos as to putting the customer first. Value the customer & they will value you. Clearly LIFETIME values profits without value provided to the customer.Jeff Bezos:“The most important single thing is to focus obsessively on the customer. Our goal is to be earth’s most customer-centric company.”LIFETIME 0 out of 5 stars customer service. Sign up on your own risk. I am a fairly new member to the Lifetime Fitness Biltmore and I do have to say I am loving it! Specifically I am loving the Alpha Strength and GTX classes!  As far as the Alpha Strength classes, Vernon at 9am on Tuesday and Thursday along with Johns 10am Friday and 9am Saturday classes are fantastic.  Ive heard great things about the 6am classes as well but thats too early for me.  Also, just tried out Brians Friday, 9am GTX class today and loved that too!  All of the classes Ive gone to really have a personal training sort of vibe to them.  You really get some personalized instruction from the trainers.  The other members in the class are all very welcoming and encouraging as well and many of them are at the same classes every week.  The community aspect of the classes was very surprising to me.  The Alpha Strength and the GTC classes feels more like a crossfit gym community rather than a big corporate mega gym. Not really sure how the studio classes are yet but I am looking forward to trying a yoga class this weekend!  While Im at it I want to mention the rooftop pool as well. Mostly because I looked for reviews for the pool before joining the club and really couldnt find much.  The pool is great!  Lots of seating and a pretty fun vibe on Saturdays.  Especially once the Dj starts and Marco starts making drinks behind the bar.  The weekdays are definitely more chill by the pool than Saturdays so you can get the best of both worlds.  This gym is fabulous and worth every penny of the membership dues and is actually a great value if you utilize the Alpha Strength and GTX classes!

The $75 is not unreasonable, but the lack of transparency is an issue. I really like this gym and think it was worth the wait. Pros - new equipment, a wide variety of classes, awesome amenities overall. You dont come here for just a workout, its an *occasion* and it feels like one too.Cons - Parking is tight and while I love love love the rooftop pool, there always seem to be a bunch of noisy, water-splashing kids around. If the pool were restricted to 15 years old+, that would make a world of difference. They really detract from the relaxing, lounging experience that you would expect from essentially a resort-style pool. Also the rooftop pool is the only one available, theres no official lap pool for any true swim training. While they offer a ton of great classes, I do think its absurd that they charge $175+ for unlimited access to their special alpha or gtx conditioning classes. That is literally more than the cost of membership itself.

Not worth the money in its current state, at least la fitness allows you to stretch in a more casual and private setting lol, those who go to lifetime biltmore know what I mean lol

Not taking COVID-19 seriously! This gym refuses to close as required by state law during a PANDEMIC. They are endangering the health and safety of their customers and the general public. They seem to think they are above the law and basic human decency. I am so disappointed in their behavior. It is shameful.

This place is only open til 11pm. I’m paying a premium fee and these guys can’t even keep their doors open for 24hrs. I get off work at 10pm and by the time I get to the gym they are already closed. I’ve waited for months for this gym to open up just to find out that they aren’t even open 24hrs. Like every other lifetime fitness in Arizona. Don’t tell me that Lifetime can’t afford to keep the place open 24hrs either. It’s 5 additional hours guys. Hire 5 people. One security guard, one person to check me in, one to watch me lift, one to walk around and one to clean just to be sent off by the same person that initially greeted me. How much is that. 5 people times 15$ an hour times 5 hours is around 400$ plus utilities. Come on guys. Imagine you get an additional 5 members just to come work out at night .... that would cover your expenses. That’s it. They spent probably around 10 million dollars for this place and they are worried about the possible 2k which might be the difference in keeping it open for an additional 5hrs. Don’t be a buncha cheap yahoodis and open the place up. Respect your return customers and keep up the 24hrs that every other lifetime fitness has except the prime location at Biltmore. Pure garbage man! 😤

The pictures were pretty. Too bad they missed the opening date by three months. I moved and can’t reach anyone despite emailing the GM, Mike Putman, several times. Maybe this will help?

This place has hired shady people that use false pretenses to steal money from people. Wouldn’t recommend going here or trusting their staff if they hire people like Joan Lewis.

Ive been around fitness/health for over 30 years now. So many gyms, good, bad and somewhere in the middle. Lifetime Biltmore is at the top of those. No gym is perfect, however Lifetime strives to be the best in my opinion. Out of the 5 locations Ive been to in the Phoenix area, this one is my favorite. The staff is professional and very thorough. Problems are handled quickly, no hassle. The facilities are well maintained. The location is great, even though I live in the West Valley and pass another location on my way here. Its worth it to me. You cant go wrong with Lifetime.
