First time at Waxing The City. Chelsea was the BEST!!!If my stars were simply rating Chelsea I would have definitely gave her 10 stars! She is a whole vibe!! Super friendly, very knowledgeable and super gentle. Waxing is waxing so there is going to be some discomfort when they pull the wax off but I swear Chelsea has some special technique that lessens the pain. I rated 4 stars because prices are a little high considering other places in the area offer discounts when you purchase multiple visits/services. Last but not least... try the Body Butter. You will not regret it. No sticky film at all. It is light and fluffy and lasts all day.

The front desk girl is so nice and helpful. She put me on their membership so I can get a discount since I’ve been going to them often now. Surita is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable and painless.

I get my Brazilians done here on my membership that saves me a little money. Front desk is always so nice and the location is very clean. Im nervous to share my tech Nia because she is amazing and thorough. Dont book her up too much!! She makes you feel comfortable and educates me on my skin/hair that is always proven correct. Been going here for about year now.

Chelsea was amazing! Most painLESS waxing experience ever. She was also friendly and funny which is always a good distraction when hair is being yanked out! She also was able to do additional services I requested at the last minute for which I am beyond grateful! Chelsea also gave great advice on how to treat the area to prevent bumps and ingrown hairs; and recommended products and/or alternatives. Definitely coming back for her!

As much as I love WTC, do not go to this location & see Surita. Big mistake not going to my normal girl & a mistake I definitely have learned from. It took me longer so drive to my appointment then to actually check in, have my wax done, & pay. I was in a total of 19-20 minutes, completely rushed. I did speak to the manager & I told her about my experience but not much she could do & I definitely did not want to drive another 25 minutes which is sad since I have friends who go to this location. Very much disappointed. I waited a few days before posting this. She kept going over the same areas and I could tell she was using bigger strips than my normal lady does. Well not, 3 days later & im still in pain-the first 2 days felt like an incredibly bad sunburn- & I have welps as well. Even took photos day to day. Never get any when I go to my normal girl. So sad I wasted my money @ this location. Stay away from Surita.

I will never get my eyebrows (or any other waxing for that matter) done anywhere else! Both ladies were absolutely wonderful, but Surita really made me feel at ease. They have great appointment availability, customer service, and high quality trademarked wax.They also have a realistic subscription option called Club Orange. You get a discount for signing up, and they pull money monthly. I prefer this WTC location than any in the DFW! 10/10 would wax there again.

I first visited the one in Houston, Tx on memorial drive and I loved it! I normally don’t buy into all those creams and exfoliators but I had the best experience and was sold! I’ve been recommending this place to everyone and my friends have also loved this place!The staff at every location actually seems knowledgeable and do a good job with the wax. I’ve been to a lot of waxing parlors and this is by far my favorite place.

Love this place! If you are going in for a Brazilian wax book with either Erin or Taylor. They are both great! I’m sure if I booked with someone else they would be just as great- it seems as though this establishment hires the right people with the skills and personality to do this job. Waxing the City is competitively priced. It is one of the few salons who will also service men for body waxing.Brand new building is extremely clean. Good attention to detail asking about skin conditions and past medical procedures which could complicate waxing.Good after care instruction. Staff is experienced, personable, and professional. Make an appointment with Aubrey. She did a wonderful job in the time allotted.Google Maps will have you overshoot the driveway by at least 750 ft. There are a few Street side parking spots, but there is ample parking behind the building.

I was so scared as I had it in my head pain and let me say, there was mild pressure, little to no pain at all. Crystal is amazing, professional and she makes you feel comfortable and she cares. She educate you about the process and she takes her time. I have already made another appointment. The only thing I would recommend in my opinion (as I felt this way) is having a female receptionist as I feel there would be higher volume of traffic with females coming to Waxing the City because they would feel more comfortable/freer in that type of setting when discussing waxing packages and so forth with a female than a male receptionist, again this is my experience and suggestion. Dont get me wrong the male receptionist is very nice and professional. But the quality of service was Phenomenal! Thank you Crystal!! See you soon!!!:-)

I had an issue with booking an appointment and gave a one star. Even though I did not receive the wax services, I felt I wasn’t treated properly. Well, the owner took the time to call me to apologize and to find out more about the issue. Just because he showed he cares I am completely changing my review. We found out the location I booked was different from the one I called to confirm. He will make sure that if this issue happens again, his staff will be able to handle it properly.

I went in for an eyebrow wax but ended up getting a Brazilian because the 50% off discount they were offering their first week was tempting. I did not flinch once! And this was my first bikini wax ever. I had never had anything but an eyebrow wax until this experience and it was so painless I was surprised. I’ve had eyebrow waxes more painful. Crystal did an amazing job and gave a lot of valuable tips and information. The manager who was at the front desk at the time was also very nice and helpful too. I will definitely be back.

So lets start by saying that the work itself was excellent and I enjoyed my time. The reason for low star is due to one particular issue and that is they are forced to finish with you before you are even completed.When you book an appointment, you are given the time they are expected to work on each part of your request. So why was my appointment cut over 20 minutes short? Give these ladies some time to work around so they can be both safe to the customer and to themselves.Management here doesnt exist and the company is completely disrespectful to their employees and customer for time allowance.

After moving from San Antonio I was looking for a new regular waxer and I have found the place. I absolutely love Crystal she did an amazing job. She was attentive and made me feel comfortable. Love the salon. All the staff there is very professional. They offer waxing to most body parts and the salon is always clean. I will say that the waxing prices are a little on the expensive side however I guess the prices are on par with the area(Southlake).
