V Nails is a great and affordable salon. If you are clear with your manicurist on what you want, you’ll walk away happy. But I would highly recommend manicurist Nhu. She is thorough, clean, and talented. They have magnetic “cat eye” polish which was a nice treat. Would recommend this salon. FYI, they prefer gratuity in cash.

Unfortunately was extremely rushed as was my manicure. No cuticle cleaning, no lotion, no detail to care. Nail tech was finished in 15 minutes. I got a dip manicure and there was glue stuck under every single nail making it feel tough and uncomfortable underneath my fingernails . My skin has glue and tint from the color around each nail. Just very disappointing for $50.Next time if you don’t have time to give someone the proper attention to detail, just say you don’t have time right now.

I went here because my regular nail place is closed for a month. I was able to get in on a Sunday! Excellent service, despite the upsell, very fast and efficient. They finished my nails while I was getting my pedicure which really sped up the process. I was very pleased with the results. The location is a little far for me but I would be willing to travel for this level of service!

I love the online scheduling and everyone was friendly and the place was clean. My only complaint is that the nail polish was put on WAY TO THICK. I knew it at the time, and it smudged while I was under the fan. We touched up the top coat, but 1.5 hours later, its still not dry because it was just too thick, and my big toes look terrible. Ill try again, but next time, Ill ask them to put the coats on lightly, so the finish is better when they dry.

I went in to get a refill. My nails starting chipping off and cracking within a week which has never happened to me before when I get my nails done elsewhere.There was also an altercation between an unsatisfied customer and the nail who seemed to not want her to voice her complain. Not a good first time experience at all.

Peter has been doing my nails for at least the past 6 years! No matter where he moves I will go! For someone who usually does my own nails, I am VERY PARTICULAR! So the moment I had seen Peter is as precise as I am! Im IN!! EXCELLENT!

They did not do a good job on my nails. They are the wrong shape, poor coloring job with polish still all over my hands. Lumpy polish. Poor filing job They sent me out with my nails still wet. Said they couldnt do the ombre color I wanted. Couldnt shape them as they were too short. I would not recommend this place at all. Dont offer a service on your website if you cant preform that service. I also did not get the technician that I made an appointment with.

My nails look terrible. They werent painted all the way, the nail bed area is darker than the tips, you can see the acrylic underneath. Theres paint on my skin and under my nails. I could have done a better job. I get my nails done all over the USA and this is by far the worst place I have ever been to.

Peter did my nails with a powder nail polish (see image I posted) and my nails came out awesome. Very professional staff. Nice place will definitely go there to get manicure and pedicure done from now on

Tried this place twice. Both times the girl rushed the gel nail manicure and the result was less than ideal. This last and final time, the color was uneven and run over the sides, causing it to immediately chip. I wont be returning and, in fact, Im looking for another salon right now to redo the color. Plus, the shop isnt well maintained.

They hold good conversation ( can’t find that I’m other nail salons) they always do great detailed work! I got a deluxe pedicure and thought they did a great job. Ive got sensetive feet so I dont like getting pedicures but sometimes it just needs to be done. I didnt find it horribly uncomfortable (which is high praise, from me!) and think they did a good job smoothing out my rough feet. The cost of the deluxe pedi + tip was the same price ($50) as other salons starting pedi price and I dont think I could have had a better experience. When I do decide the time has come for another pedicure, itll be at V Nails!

Just got my nails done by Kim!! I love them!! She is absolutely wonderful and hilarious! She suggested awesome polish, did an amazing job on my pointy nails (I got a fill so she had to trim me up and reshape them!!) and suggested fun things for next time! Call and make an appointment to make sure you have a time slot, but walk-ins are available (I was one!) They have a bunch of colors (including tiger’s eye and color changing) and also do dip powder nails!

Very good service and excellent precaution measures. Its a little expensive for my taste but I guess with the times its necessary.

Kim was just AMAZING!! She made me and my daughters feel very comfortable! I went in for a fill in and she fixed the bad shaping I had before! Their prices are even cheaper. Her (Master) thats what she called him did my daughters nails also! I definitely recommend going there!

I love this place! I recommend making an appointment but you can usually get in the same day, no problem. I was lucky enough to have Tony, the owner, do my nails. Hes wonderful and super super nice! I love this place! All of the staff are very gracious and treat my daughter and me like princesses. All at a great price! I get fills done a couple of times a month and LOVE the luxury pedicure. They use citrus pieces and real sugar scrub and end with hot stones and warm lotion and towels. Just divine!

Got a gel pedicure a couple of days ago, and couldnt have enjoyed the experience more. Cost $46+tip for 1-hour of leg massage, cuticle trim, and gel polish. So worth the money. Would definitely return!

No, no, no. Dont know where to start. Got my nails and feet done here. The pedi was amazing but the guy that did my nails was horrible. I wanted some stones on both of my ring fingers. He didnt give me what I asked for on top of that he made me pay for my nails and they werent even done yet. I guess he knew that he was going to do a horrible job so he made me pay first. He was afraid I was gonna complain and probably not pay. My polish is done horribly Im just pissed off all the way around because he overcharged me as well and didnt give me what I wanted. I wont be coming back.

I went in to get my nails done and the staff were very friendly! I got the shellac manicure. They made great conversation while they were doing my nails. When they cleaned around my cuticles, they took their time and made my cuticles look wonderful. One problem I had was that a few days after I got my shellac manicure done, my nailpolish chipped in one area. I called V Nails and they told me to come on in and fixed my nails. I believe their policy is that if it chips within a certain time period, they will fix it for free! I love this place! I will definitely be visiting them again!

This place used to be awesome, but it seems to have changed owners. The last time I went, the manicurist had a wart on her hand and did not use gloves when she massaged me, and I didnt notice until it was almost over. Totally unacceptable. **update. My friend who got a manicure with me has just informed me that she is at urgent care with a nail bed infection, that the doctor opined was probably from the manicure. Im so sad because I loved having a Northside nail salon and I love supporting Northside businesses, but obviously Im not going back unless there are significant improvements.

I was just in there getting my nails done. Unfortunately I was late getting there but they still took me anyways. The service was fast and satisfying. I know that I will be for sure returning there in the near future.

My friend and I went to v nails for a pedicure and I was amazed by the excellent customer service! It started down pouring right as we were trying to leave, so one of the employees walked us to our cars with an umbrella. Definitely will go back!

I was in town for a wedding and decided last-minute to get my nails done. They were able to take me the morning of, with no waiting time. Both my manicure and pedicure turned out wonderfully, and still look nice a week later. I got shellac for the first time (wasnt too sure what it was), but it wasnt much more in terms of price. Manicures rarely last me a whole week, but mine has held up through drinking, work, painting, and cleaning. The only negative things Id say are that its a little hard to notice at first, and the employee who showed up (apparently late) was unprofessional (dress, loudly listening to music on her phone, being rude to the owner).Id definitely go back, and recommend to others.

The new owners are nice but there is a definitely a difference. At todays visit the gentleman put on a clean & sanitized file on electric file/buffer and did my nails. Sounds good except someone came over and took the machine & did someones toe nails without changing the tip AND then a different guy took the machine & did another clients toe nails without changing the tip! My color was wrong but that is 100% my fault, I knew it was wrong but didnt want to make a fuss.

My granddaughter 7 and her friend 6 had a Mani and a Pedi. The pedi was full service. The Mani was pretty much put polish on with nothing else. They charged full price for the manis. I suggest they have child prices. It was my granddaughters birthday and this is what she wanted for a gift.

My 1st mistake was relying on others review of this nail establishment. Th nail tech who did my pedicure did a really good job, when it came to my nails it was all downhill. He did a horrible job shaping my nails and he used a product on me that even he himself said was horrible!!!! Yet still charged me and didnt offer to redo and if I didnt have to leave ...I would have had them take it all off and do again!!I just called them(10 minutes after leaving) to ask if I can come back after having to get my husband and the guy tells me I should have expressed myself before paying. I told him I had to leave to get my husband but i would like to return and he redo them ...he said it was too late because I left.

Went there with my sister-in-law and her cousin, they were SO KIND. They took care of all three of us even though they were slammed with other clients. On my manicure (which ive had done hundreds of times) the lady did an excellent job on cleaning up my cuticles, the following week and a half i had no hang nails, & my nail beds looked clean & refreshed (not to mention the polish un-chipped). My pedicure was done just as well. I was skeptical when i first saw that place, its not upscale by any means but the work done there is amazing. DEFIANTLY worth it! thank you guys.

Best nail place Ive found in Madison. I got a shellac mani and paraffin wax pedi. The shellac lasted me nearly 3.5 weeks, talk about worth the money. The pedi made my feet very smooth and the polish still looks great a month later. Very friendly owners who care about customer service. I had my ring fingers painted a different color and that shellac color didnt take well and peeled the first night. I called and told the owner about the issue and he said to come in whenever it was convenient for me and hed fix it on the spot. He was true to his word and wouldnt stop apologizing the whole time. I love this place, will be returning in the future.

I was offered bottled water but I declined because I wasnt thirsty. There are two huge TVs and I got really involved in the Food Network show during my pedicure, until Henry started massaging my legs. Then I just had to close my eyes and enjoy the sensation of being pampered.

Wonderful service at an affordable cost. When I walked in midafternoon I was quickly greeted and then we immediately started my mani/pedi. The chairs are excellent, and the casual conversation with the V Nails employees and their clients is simply delectable. Overall the process was very relaxing. My technician communicated with me every step of the way to ensure the process was relaxing and to my preference. Overall I couldnt be happier and look forward to returning again soon.
