Place is run down. Cars are run down, very dirty, beat up, not maintained.What’s even worse is this was the most terrible service I’ve ever experienced. We called multiple times before coming and they told us to just come in and no reservation needed. We ubered from the airport to pick up a car and within 2 minutes of entering, the owner or manager told us to “get out” because we asked for a good deal. The manager just turned around and walked away. Told us they don’t need our business.So yeah, 4 people w luggage, had to order another Uber back to the airport because Management was having a bad day. Leave your personal problems at the door bro.If you can’t handle normal business transactions, you shouldn’t be in business.

You deserve less than one star. Don’t advertise you are open 24hrs a day and never answer the phone when a customer calls for pick up. You not only told me this but obviously also the other lady that reserved a van and you left her stranded at the airport too. Ron told me to make sure I really wanted the van before I reserved because he wanted a one day non refundable deposit. We gave him our credit card number and he sent our confirmation number. Even after leaving a message that we needed picked up he never returned our call. That was Friday Sept 3 at 10 pm. Eight ladies stranded at the airport after flying for several hour and still had a two hour drive ahead of us. Luckily we were able to obtain a van from a reliable company. Finally on Sept 4, we were able to reach Ron, who swore he would never tell us he would pick us up at 10. Rude and unacceptable behavior is no way to do business. Shame on you for your deceitful business practices. I will be sending a copy of this review to the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. Before we arrived in Phoenix, we were told we would be picked up from the airport and taken to the car rental place. We called when we got to the airport and they said they don’t offer shuttle service. After ubering there, the man behind the desk (super rude guy) didn’t even know what we reserved. Tried to give us a big 15 seater when we needed two SUV’s. Eventually he rented us the two SUV’s, but they were incredibly old and smelled of cigarettes. There were tire pressure lights on and engine lights on in both the SUV’s but we were assured that we would be fine for our 2+ hour drive to Flagstaff. Having no other option, our group of 16 people decided it’d be okay if they assured us. However, in the middle of our drive to Flagstaff, one of the SUV’s failed to go over 60 mph and after about an hour the back right tire completely blew. We were stranded on the side of a highway for nearly 2 hours. We called the rental company and they were ridiculously rude to us over the phone, saying none of what happened is their fault, even thought we expressed our concerns. The man even threw racial slurs at us over the phone. Triple A couldn’t even fix the tire because the spare was 16 years old, just like the tire that blew, and wouldn’t have gotten us far. We had to tow that car to the nearest tire shop and had to give up the other SUV also because according to the tire guys, both the SUV’s were incredibly dangerous to drive given the condition that they were in. There was oil leaking out of one of the cars also (picture attached) and one of the buttons was pushed in which prevented the car from telling us how many miles were on it. We found out that one of the SUV’s had 250,000 miles and the other had 300,000. We also were not given registration papers for one of the cars. There are numerous things wrong with this place and the way they handle their business. You would be better off paying a bit more and renting from other companies, at least they won’t ruin your trip like this garbage dump.

I would give them zero stars if i could, they were EXTREMELY disrespectful and hung up the phone on me. They rented my sister a car without any insurance and charged her excessive fees without her knowing. They even told her she’s not allowed back on their property for no reason. I mean, yes, the van was 20 years old with 20-year old upholstery. And yes, the check engine light was on. And yes, when it gets over 60, it shimmies so hard it feels like the back end is about to pop off. But you know what, it got us from A to B. And the pickup/return process couldnt be any quicker or easier. 3/5, would rent again.

Worst customer service ever ! I called in beginning of august to rent a vehicle(van) for October 2nd, spoke to a older man and let me tell you I didn’t call one time I called like 5 times and each time I spoke with the same man who was older Each time confirming he has availability for my rental that it would be 530$ but I couldn’t book until 10days before and I called five times to confirm each time. Now I called today to book the reservation and they want to tell me they not know what happened that they haven’t had any availability since beginning of summer . They guy literally argued with me and told me I’m wrong and said whatever and hung up. What kind of service is that!

This place is a scam. First, their advertising is false, they do not charge less than 100 dollars per week. Their weekly rate is 289+Tax.Second, that Ed guy is so rude. The guy was giving me attitude the whole time I was speaking to him. Not a good way to conduct business. I will take my money somewhere else.Third, on top of their ridiculous prices. You have to deposit a 500 dollar fee before you can get any vehicle. What a bunch of scammers.No wonder they have such a bad rep

This place is a scam. We were told there would be a shuttle from the airport. No shuttle. We were told theyd reimburse a taxi ride. Only up to $20 (ride was $30) and only if you rent a vehicle. Once we were there, they would not honor the price quoted online when we made the reservation. Wanted to charge an additional $300. When we questioned the price difference, the worker got hostile and refused to rent us anything.We called the online number to try to reopen negotiations and another worker agreed to talk with us. He quickly turned hostile as well and told us wed have to pay the increased rate and only in cash. (Would not accept CC since we might scam HIM🙄) offered to drive us to an ATM, told us he was renting us his personal van, that this is the busiest week in Phoenix and we would not be able to rent one anywhere else. So much pressure to hand over $900 in cash. When we hesitated, he threw us out if the building, refused to rent us anything or even give us a ride back to the airport. We were completely stranded.Please read the reviews on this site!!! This is a terrible place. They will scam you and treat you like youre the jerk.

The poor guy is helping people in a tight spot get a car rental and he is doing you a favor as much as you are him by renting to keep his business afloat. Lots of nice cars on the lot however I asked for his smallest and most workhorse car. I am glad I did. Not gonna lie the interior was a bit cosmetically broken, and the trunk was dirty with dog food, unknown pills, sugar spilt and packets, some cups and a peanut butter container and some plastic utensils. That being said on the lowest setting the AC was cold enough to go all day in the Arizona sun, the breaks were very responsive as was the steering and I drove that car from about 11:30 am till 5:20 pm to run errands and it was a breeze to drive. Enterprise cause my last name is weird wouldnt rent to me, but he did and I am very grateful. The car did its job and did it well. Id definitely rent again especially if the worst there is is just cosmetic dirt. Was a quick easy clean and everyone was very friendly and I cannot say enough good about them helping me get a car to do the work training I needed. God bless them and hope you find them just as reliable as I did.

Regarding PHOENIX DISCOUNT VAN AND SUV RENTAL:DO NOT RENT FROM THIS ABUSIVE RENTAL PLACE.Rented a Dodge mini van Thursday Dec 3rd. The tire warning light was on, engine light was on, ESP BAS warning, stability control warning light was on. With 240,000 miles, we assumed these lights were from faulty sensors. We needed it for a week, and they charged us $366.00. The next morning 14 hours after we picked it up, my spouse was driving to work when the right front tire had a blow out. I drove to where this took place to change the tire, but there was no spare. I called the rental place and over 5 calls, this guy yelled at me, used profanity and hung up on me all five calls. I even offered to drive to the rental place to pick up a tire and change it out. He hung up again, I called back and was able to obtain their plan - they were going to pick it up and said they would have the tire examined at Discount Tire. My spouse called them back after work Friday December 4th and said to cancel the rental and give her a refund. The guy at the rental place said he would call once he knew how much would be refunded. After 6 days without my spouse asked me to call them and inquire where the refund was.I called back Dec 10th to check on the refund and the guy at the rental began yelling at me, and I asked why he was being a jerk.. I said to him I would report this to the BBB, Yelp and Google and he threatened me to go face to face, man to man. I doubt they will refund my spouse, so I will use legal action to get her refund.These people are hostile, and I swear I have never experience such horrible abuse in my life.By the way, I have photos to prove there was no spare, the warning lights, the blow out and balding tires.DO NOT RENT FROM THESE JERKS.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE unless you are absolutely desperate. The car I received was so disgusting and tore up. It had nearly 300k miles on it. The air conditioner worked, thankfully, but I couldn’t charge my phone at all because the charger port was broken. The dashboard was broken into pieces. I was so embarrassed to drive this car around. The guy who runs the desk is also rude as hell. If you complain about the car at all, he just tells you to leave and won’t let you rent the car. Every single person I saw in the waiting room said they had issues with the car they were renting. Run from this place! The owner takes advantage of people because he knows that sometimes there aren’t any other cars available so you have to rent from him whether you like it or not.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!As we got on to the interstate, our rental cars steering wheel and dashboard began shaking violently. We luckily slowed down but one of our front tires blew out. We had our kids with us, so we had someone pick us up (and all of our luggage) safely and then we called to inform this establishment about what happened. We were informed that its our responsibility to change the tire ourselves, get the car towed OR he would be reporting the vehicle as STOLEN. Worse place to rent. RUN!!!!! THE OWNER RENTED ME A CAR WITH A CRACKED WINDSHIELD. I was desperate because I needed a car for work so I took it. After a day or two driving it, I had two flat tires. I had to keep replacing air in the tires to and from work. To make things worst, the charger in the car didnt work. Im new to the area and I was using google maps to find my way back home. My phone died and the charger in the the car didnt work. I had to ask a stranger to look up my location so I can write it down in order to find my way back to where I was lodging.I bought the car back and told the guy he gave me the worst car on the lot. He was extremely rude. He refused to hear what I had to say. He told me to get out or hell call the cops. I left and file a complaint on him. The cop told me hes there almost every week with people complaining about Phoenix car rental. I am going to report him to BBB.

Ok to rent if you like broken promises, bad service & being left stranded. I was one of the 8 women that was left without a car on Friday, Sept 3rd. Worse experience ever !!! Please please read the reviews before going to this place ! When I called I got a quote for $549 when I showed up they charged my card 950 didn’t realized until after I returned the car. When I called to ask why they had charged me that amount the guy was extremely rude and gave me no answers. ALSO the car we got turned off on our way to our destination called them and they basically shut me up they never called to see if I was able to get the car going. On the way back the tire popped because the tire was so OLD I guess this is my fault because should have checked the tire before taking the car. I still haven’t received my “200 dollar deposit” I’ve been calling them and the guy literally hands up on me. Tried calling with my husbands phone and they blocked his number mind you I am not problematic at all so it’s just not like I call yelling or nothing. THIS IS A SCAM !!! Despite having read the other reviews, I thought “it can’t possible be that bad”.I went in and was denied the car I had reserved.He quoted me at two hundred, and when I arrived from out of state, the owner said the rates went up to $500. I wasn’t pleased, but still willing to pay. In front of my child, he was aggressively insulting, irrational, and on a tirade. He told me he would not rent us the car. That’s for the best. My 8 year old was frightened by the man’s behavior, which including yelling insults at me. I am so sorry she bore witness to that. He’s a scammer, and unscrupulous. Just...don’t.

This was our WORST experience ever! We made a reservation for a family member in Phoenix who needed to drive to Tucson. The car was older, but since we needed one last minute and could not locate an available one, my family member picked it up. It was also about 2.5 times the price of what a rental cost. Once my brother-in-law got on the road, he noticed the AC didnt work. It was also quite dirty with other mechanical issues. He drove it back to car lot to return. The attendant actually yelled at him and was EXTREMELY rude! He had to insist on his money return. Finally, after some time, they credited his card. Customer service was incredible rude, obnoxious & intimidating! Steer clear!!!

Car battery went dead could jump it with cheap cables called them they came jumped it and took it and me back to lot then said it was my fault saisd they got it started no problem with a jump, I’m a pop star not an auto mechanic, didnt let me have my last day and it was dead the night before so i got cheated out of a day and a half

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!The vans were in horrendous condition with over 200k miles, cracked windshield, engine light, and the AC barely worked.When we called to exchange the vans he tried to talk us out of it and said he only had even older vehicles. He wouldn’t let us return them without incurring a heavy penalty, so we ended up keeping the vans and renting minivans for our trip to Grand Canyon as we didn’t trust the reliability.Then to top it all off when we went to return the vans and asked for a shuttle to a hotel near the airport, the owner was extremely hostile and said there would be a shuttle fee of $20. When we said it didn’t make sense to charge us he got argumentative and started calling us names. At that point we just stormed off and took a Lyft to the hotel.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I got the car with no gas and when I got to the gas station there was no gas cap and the check engine light was on the Ac wouldnt work I have to keep the car in motion for it to work I called in about it and they were very rude about the situation. I didn’t even rent a car. Calling to get prices told me everything I needed. Before I could get a price, the guy asked “ Where are you going?” As if where I’ll be traveling is any of his business. And, he had a huge attitude. Could they maybe say “Lets see if we can save you some money. How far do you think you’ll be traveling, because if you’re staying local, I can get you a better rate.” Nope, just rude.

Rip offs make sure your receipt has each fee applicable in separate lines. For example daily rate, security deposit, taxes, fees,etc. Do not sign contract unless it’s displayed separately they will not refund you when it’s added as a lump sum. Cars all need repair. I called to get a quote he asked where I was going said we dont go that far and hung up. I called back and asked were you the guy I just spoke to, he said no and I said well that was extremely rude. He then got rude and said well we dont have to play games he has four people in here, I told him he was rude, hung up before I was finished. He asked what questions do you have I said the guy said you dont go to I said desination he asked where I told him and then he hangs up before I could finish. Honestly I think it was the same. Would not recommend. My parents came to town to visit and needed a rental. They were given a price of $280 for a couple days for a F150. When we got there, this place only has older vehicles and did not even have a F150. They tried giving my father a white 2010 Chevy Avalanche. Vehicle had all its paint chipping, rough tires, and just looked like it was going to break down. I drove from the other side of the county for a vehicle they did not even have in the lot. This is a joke of a business and I would hate for someone to make the same mistake. I’d give this a 0 out of 5 rating if I could.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - STAY AWAY - Discriminatory. Once he found out we were with a church group he refused to rent to us even though we had a confirmation number. Extremely rude on the phone, started yelling at me as he confused with me with another person he thought he had talked to previously. Simple questions about insurance seemed to put him out and how dare I ask for the total price, that really set him off. As everyone has said if I could give 0 Star I would.

The prices I got d to rent a car for about 10 $20 more I could rent a brand new one with unlimited miles and go where I want to go when I talked to them they wanted to know how far I was gonna go and only wanted me to stay in town or Phoenix and like I said the price was just a few dollars less than a brand new car at a name brand rental place I highly recommend everybody not rent from this place like the other people said the cars are beat up theyre junk

I was quoted $749 and was charged $944 with no explanation of taxes and fees (verbally or on my receipt). I was told the van steering wheel would shake if I was too close to the car in front of me. The van is not even equipped with that feature. We were almost out of Phoenix and the steering wheel and dash would shake every 10-15 seconds. I called them and they said they would bring me another vehicle. They did. It had nearly 300, 000 miles on it!! The inside was filthy. I tried calling the office, and was hung up on 2 different times. I told them never mind, I would take my chances with the first one. Big mistake. The problem got worse as we headed out, so I called the office again and was dealt with very rudely. I said I was bringing the car back. I was told to bring it back pronto then hung up on again by the same gentleman as before!! When I took the van back they took my pink copy of the receipt and would not give it back to me. I was told we are done with you. The gentleman that rented the car initially and hung up on me during my phone calls was not willing to come out from the back room. No bother, it would have been a waste of my breath to try to talk to him again. Luckily they did refund my $944. We called all over trying to find a company to help us out with a 12-15 passenger van in this situation on short notice. WITHOUT FAIL EVERY COMPANY WE TALKED TO (4-5 different rental companies) WITHOUT FAIL ASKED Did you rent from Phoenix Car Rental? They all said that this company has been doing this for years. One of the absolute worst customer service experiences ever, and which nearly ruined a vacation. Reserved the car a week or two in advance and had reservation number. We advised when making the reservation that our flight was scheduled to arrive around 6:25pm and we could not predict exact arrival time and would that be a problem. We explained that we wanted to make sure they would still be open. He said no problem, just call us when flight lands, and we will wait for you, and he suggested that we take the free shuttle to get there. So, our flight actually lands around 6:15. We call, and the man has an attitude right off. Hes complaining that we are late in the day and insisted we do not take the shuttle because it would take too long and to Uber instead. So, okay we Uber and we call him once in the Uber and tell him wed be there in 5 minutes. This is maybe 6:53 pm and he closes at 7:00. He says too bad he cant wait, he just closed his register, and hes leaving - even though we just spoke to him 35 minutes ago and told him we would get there as fast as we could. I start to make my case, and he gets ugly and hangs up on me without even giving his name. I call back, and he doesnt answer. This was followed by a nightmare of trying to find another rental car this late in the day. 2 hours later, we barely got a car at the airport at triple the price. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this place. Terrible way to start a vacation.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received over the phone. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude! Ed picked up the phone and said because there’s a national shortage of rental cars they can get to everyone when they see fit or we can go elsewhere. Based off these reviews I shouldn’t of even bothered calling this unprofessional company. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

The owner is rude, VERY RUDE, sarcastic, yells and cusses at customers just because one person didnt hear him... he is unprofessional, cars provided with no power steering fluid, extremely hard to turn, would not fix it or exchange it for the 2nd rental day and kept deposit, because I told him not to cuss at me or yell at me. Place looks like a junk yard, which it pretty much is. charged me $100 more than agreed, car reeked of pee, AC didnt work, locks didnt work, airbags didnt work. the car had almost 300,000 miles. pointless to try to tell them whats wrong with their cars. theyll just dismiss you.

Called to receive a estimate on a rental and the man on the phone sounded like he did not want to help us. He was very short spoken and just seemed to want to push away customers. Beware and Stay away!!! Comments on this company seem to hold value.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLEVery surprised at what I got after renting a passenger van for a night. The van was in very run down condition from broken arm rests, stains and ripped upholstery, Cracks in rear view mirror, missing outside blind spot mirror and much more. Then once I pulled out of parking lot and started down the road the vehicle shook terribly. Don’t attempt more than 55-60 mph as the shaking really intensified and it seemed the wheels would pop off. Within 20 minutes of picking up the van the check engine light came on. Upon immediate call to rental location about shaking and engine light they brushed both off as normal and made a phony excuse for both. I did not feel safe in the vehicle and said as much upon return of the vehicle the next day with not a reply from the gentleman taking in the return. If you are reading this and considering a rental I would with extreme caution. Not safe to be on the road and very scary at such!! They also added erroneous fees to the rental without good explanation!!! I was stuck and needed the van....

Got off to a rocky start. First car I got I had to take back because battery light came on soon after I left the establishment. However, they switched it out no problem. I paid exactly what I was quoted and was given back the difference from the deposit I left as soon as I turned the car in Overall, a good experience.

THIEVES! This car broke down and almost killed us on the highway doing 60 miles per hour in less than 24 hours. They hung up on me when I called and asked for help. They robbed us of the full $704.00 for the rental after we had it towed from our own pocket for one day of use. I cant believe they are allowed to be in business.

The miserable fat guy behind the desk (i believe The owner) called me and my friends skanks for not knowing if we wanted to sign to pay for a beat up 08’ Chevy impala. He’s a horrible excuse for a human being... how do places like this even stay in business!?! but Avoid this place if you can to avoid a horrible experience!!!

THIS PLACE IS FAKE!!! We reserved a truck to hall bikes and large bags during our trip and were given a small car that couldn’t fit everything. To start it off, we let them know what time we were arriving in Phoenix for the shuttle to pick us up. When we got in they told us we should have been there earlier and that they had already sent everyone home. Once we finally were able to get to their office, the place was extremely sketchy. The car itself was in extremely bad condition. THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE SEATBELT WAS BROKEN. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. THE RENTAL PLACE SAID IT WAS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. On top of that, the tags were expired, the check engine light was on, and the rear DVD player, which does not work, would not stay up and greatly hindered the view of the driver. Those are just a few of the issues we faced from this car. I’m not writing this out of hate for the rental, but to advise people about the type of company this is. Please take this advice into consideration and do not make the same mistake we did.

This Phoenix Car Rental has an attached car wash, and its free when you get an oil change. When the oil change is done, you can just drive around the corner for your free wash. Very convenient! Now I use the car wash too.

We had previously rented from here because we needed a 13 passenger van for a family trip and this was the only place that had some at the time. We did not have issues the first time. However, Over the weekend we had the Worst experience of our lives! The mini van we rented broke down on our way back from California!That same morning we gave them a call to let them know that the van was acting funny and that the oil light and the check engine light came on . The man who answered the phone said they ran a diagnostics test and everything was fine and all it needed was premium gas and to not put the “CHEAP”gas. So that’s what we did! Once we were arriving to Blythe California we had to get off the freeway because the van started making a loud rattling noise! We parked at the nearest gas station to call the rental car company. When we were explaining what was happening with the vehicle the man on the phone got hostile REAL QUICK especially since we told him we had called in the morning with our concerns! He told us it was our problem and our responsibility and began using profanity and name calling and hung up the phone! We called back and he would pick up and then hang up again! He did that several times until we called from a different cellphone.He blocked our cellphone numbers.We couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism we were dealing with!!!He was extremely rude and like I mentioned above “UNPROFESSIONAL.” We couldn’t believe that we were dealing with such an immature man child!What really upsets me is that we put our 3 small kids and dog in danger in the junk car they rented us! That man lacks compassion,customer service skills and common sense! He is disrespectful!This is a lesson learned and will never be coming back to this horrible place!

I called this place a month in advance to book a car before memorial day weekend and was quoted a price of $295 and told to call a week before to book the car . I did so and the owner tried to jack the price up and was very rude!!!! Stay clear of this hole!!!!!!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE ITS A SCAM. THEY ARE NOT EVEN LICENSED. I would give this place a 0 star if it was possible. This place is in the middle of the Ghetto when taking an Uber to the location the Uber asked what are you going to do in this part of town. The cars they rent are old and look to be spray painted I am pretty sure it was a 2002 Impala or older. Their rates are way to high for the ghetto service they provide. I was told verbally that the cost of the rental was one price and they scammed they way and said it was higher. Stating the price was on the rental agreement. Which it was not. REVIEW Better Business Bureau posts. It has a 1.25 star rating. Imagine how bad of a business you have to be to get that rating.

Tried to steal 300 dollars from me until my boyfriend walked in……horrible business and not friendly at all, front desk yelled at me because he was trying to steal my money…..unprofessional

If i could give this place zero stars I would. I called to get a quote and extra information for the car rental and the guy who answered was extremely rude and was talking to someone else at the same time he was talking to me. I then proceeded to ask if they offer insurance on the car and verbatim he said were not doing this today, you are reliable for anything that happens to the car and then hung up.

I was in a pinch and couldnt find a car. Next time I will just UBER. This place is sooooo bad. The two cars they gave me a choice of were in such horrible shape. I chose the one that didnt look like it had just been towed from a accident!! The driver seat belt didnt work and then the key wouldnt turn in ignition. They showed me how to make the key turn and how to make the seat belt work... OMG... The car felt like it was on its last leg. No clock and the A/C worked when I picked up the car, but slowly but surely it stopped working. Thank God it wasnt summer time. The check engine light came on and I called them. He said it had to do with the heat and Im fine. I asked him what I should do if they car breaks down? He said to call them and they will give me direction... ummmm ok. I prayed every time I got in it. I used it to do what I needed and returned it a day early because I was over it. Please plan ahead and rent from a reputable car rental place. I was horrified when the UBER driver from the airport pulled into this place.... DONT DO IT!!! Seriously my lack of planning left me so stressed with the vehicle!!!!

I called this morning to receive a quote on a rental. The person who answered the phone sounded like he hated his job. He was short and wouldnt let me finish my statement before he was already speaking over me. For $700 for a few days of a rental, I would expect better service. Such a shame.

I did appreciate the fact that they were able to rent me a vehicle without needing a credit card. Thats the one only star portion I would give them.People running the place are rude and dishonest. They changed the price of the rental to reflect a different amount over what I was quoted, and you can even see it in the receipt they provided the new amount is written over the previous. When I returned the vehicle and tried to ask and challenge them another shorter heavyset person came infront me and said I was trespassing so I left since they were pretty intimidating and would not listen to anything I had to say.

READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY. I planned a family trip to go to Rocky Point for a family reunion. I have a lot of family and needed a large passenger van to travel there with. ENTERPRISE TOLD ME they could do it. Of course I go thru what so may people have probably gone thru. I get to the rental counter and it becomes Oh we dont allow large passenger vehicles to go down there. So now me and my entire family of 8 is stuck. I googled Mexico large van rentals and these guys popped up. It was SUPER last minute when I called Phoenix Discount Van Rental and basically begged them to get my family and I to Rocky Point. Otherwise my $1,500 Airbnb would have been toast. They hooked me up DAY OF in a Ford Transit. A lot of people say the cars are older but mine got my whole family down there and back just fine and was exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend them for any Rocky Point rentals and especially if you;re in a last minute pinch. Thanks!

The manager was extremely rude !!! never even introduced himself. all I did was ask them questions in regards to the rental information after about 6-8 questions he RAISED HIS VOICE and sternlly told me YOU ARE TO MUCH OF A HEADACHE, YOURE BETTER OFF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE IM NO LONGER GOING TO RENT TO YOU if I could have given NO stars I would gladly do so... I reserved the van 2 days ago and this occured 2hours ago. Trying to find a 12-15 passenger van on the weekend on Friday is nearly impossible and I will now have to reschedule my 7yr olds birthday. I could understand if I was irrational my voice tone never changed even when he started raising his . The manager needs a serious customer service refresher . No one in the office even smiled ONCE very unsatisfied and this is the first step Im taking to make others aware DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION!!

SO BAD. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.We had to scramble last minute because our other rental car option fell through. Found Phoenix Car Rental online and booked without reading any reviews. Worst decision ever.- car extremely old and dirty. 188k miles on car.- smelled so badly of weed and cigs that we had to stop every 30 min for breathing breaks- headlight out- broken bucket seats- gas only 1/8 tank full when we got the carOverall, you are better off walking than renting a car from this business. I suspect they arent even really a car rental company, but are using this as a cover-up for a drug dealing business. (Like the show Breaking Bad).

Unless you are completely desperate do NOT use this place. First of all, they lie to con you out of insurance money. Secondly the car I received had smelled like it had been soaked in weed, the check engine service light was on as well as the low tire pressure light. The gas tank was empty as well. I rented the car for one event that I flew in across the country for that I ended up missing because the car had a malfunction that I was not told about. I googled it and found out that this malfunction had been recalled. It took over an hour for someone to come service the car which is how I missed my event. I went to return the car at a time they gave me and the whole building was closed. I had to call over eight times before someone answered and gave me directions on how to leave the car. Mind you I was suppose to be heading to the airport right after drop off to catch a flight so I was anxious about time while trying to reach them. I was assured that some of my money would be refunded due to the malfunction and was kinder the understanding that the insurance would be refunded as well upon drop off. Seeing as how long one was there I had to wait to contact them again. Once I contacted two days later as instructed I was hung up on. I called back and was told that the insurance wouldnt be refunded because I was suppose to bring proof of insurance when I dropped the car off. Remember no one was there at the time of drop off. Additionally that was never apart of the initial conversation which I stated to the man who then said theyd review the tapes and to call back in a day. Lastly I was informed that the most I would be refunded for the malfunction would be $30 and as I was trying to understand these circumstances was hung up on again. To be continued...Also stating that I had no idea they had two stars until I came to leave a review and only had to use them because other car rental places required an ID and a form of payment that matched the ID so do with that information what you will 🙃

The experience here is terrible, bad business practice, nasty attitudes, and subpar inventory. I recommend renting somewhere else, dont say I didnt warn you.

This place is a nightmare! The cars all look like they have been wrecked & will break down any minute. When I kindly expressed my concern, the owner took offense told us to f off & kicked us off the premise, at closing time, with all our luggage from travel. He knew the airport was out of rentals when we called & took a taxi over. Were standing out on the street, its getting dark & cold. If I could give 0 stars I would. What a despicable business owner.

The employees are RUDE! Vehicle was a POS and their prices are way too high but if you need to rent a car and you dont have a credit card they will rent to you with an enormous deposit! :-)
