Jesse is my go-to guy here, highly recommend him though you can’t go wrong with anyone here. Jesse works quickly while still giving a quality cut every time. He’s more focused on the cut than conversation, which is my ideal. Hot shave and hot towel to top it off. If you’re looking for a new barber, you really can’t go wrong with Jesse or this place in general!

I made an appointment online with Lindsay, based on other reviews on google. My expectations were exceeded with her professionalism, interpersonal skills, and dedication to giving me an A+ cut. Highly recommended this facility and Lindsay! Will be back during my time in Phoenix!

Maria was wonderful. I have been going to Zs on 7th st since it opened. Mainly so my son can have a real haircut; cut, warm towel, back/ shoulder massage, etc. I noticed the overall TLC had been lacking for a few years. Quick cut and go. Today Maria actually used a warm towel on him and the hand massager. She even styled his hair. The haircut was nice, but the service was outstanding. I hope you recognize her talents and keep her on staff.

Alex is the best. He has been cutting my 4 boys hair for years and always does such a great job. Its easy and convenient to make an appointment online and his schedule usually is open enough for us to get in within a day or two. The shop is clean, friendly, and they offer free beverages while you wait.

Came in for a haircut and was paired with Cooper. He gave me the sickest mullet but still classy at the same time. He upped my swag by at least 500 points. I will return.

Premium barbershop with casual environment. I won’t go anywhere else. Mario is humble but very talented. He does a great fade. He’s quick but doesn’t skimp on quality, he’s just that good. Finishes up with the straight razor. $25 for a regular haircut (as of 3/21) really cannot beat the price and leaves room to tip your barber $10.

We just moved here and I had the best hair cut I had for a long time in this barbershop. The barbers were also basketball fanatics as I do. We had so much fun expressing our likes with basketball. Booked an appointment for my 10 year old online. When I arrived, Eduardo was waiting and ready to cut my sons hair. He did an excellent job! My son is convinced he’s going to have the coolest hair when he goes back to school tomorrow. Everyone is very friendly and I was offered a beer while I waited. I declined only because I had to drive, but this place really is legit! So happy to have found a good barbershop that knows what they’re doing!

I have been taking my 7 year old son to this location to see Joey for the last 3 years and we have never had a bad experience. My son loves his vibe and always walks out of there with a strut after getting a fresh cut. Sometimes when we pop in without a reservation we see one of the other barbers and they are all awesome too. But honestly Joey is the GOAT in our eyes so if we have choice, he’s our pick!

Ive just started going to Vs and I must say that their haircuts are a cut above. No pun intended. You want to look sharp and classy then theres only one place for a correct cut and that place is Vs. They just inherited a customer for life.

Joey is the man! I’ve had a hard time finding a decent barber in Phoenix until he cut my hair. I went to Vs because it was close by initially. Now I live half an hour away and I still make the drive just to go to Joey. He cut my hair for my wedding that’s how much I trust this guy for a cut. Great guy.

This place is pretty consistent quality with most of the other Vs barbershops that Ive visited.That being said, one time I came and waited for 20 to 25 minutes only to be told they cant do children. Yes, I asked him when we walked in the door if they could do children and the front desk I said Yes. Yes, I have brought my kids there before and gotten haircuts. So, not the brightest working at the front that time at least.Ive just learned to come during the off hours when its not too busy and if I can, I try to get the owner because hes one of the most competent hairstylists Ive had in a long long time.

This place does not like Latinos, they will pretend like your invisible even if you book an appointment ahead of time. It’s sad In this day and age that establishments will not treat you with the same respect due to your ethnicity, i your a minority, do yourself a favor and don’t go to this place, you deserve better. Great classic style barbershop. Bustling with customers and barbers. Haircut turned out great. Overall much higher quality level and service level than the cheap places. Definitely worth the small additional cost to look better.

Great little boys haircut! Our 2.5 year old loved his cut and did well in the chair (way better than he did at the childs haircut place). He liked the big boys atmosphere. They definitely know their craft and showed the patience needed for such a young boy. I didnt give a lot of instruction as to what we wanted - we just agreed to boys cut and he looks sooooo handsome. TY! Well be back!

Got Noah as my barber, super cool and friendly guy and nailed the cut! The only negative about the experience was there were a few people there w/out masks on and as the shop is relatively small that did turn me off a bit but I was there early enough on a Sunday that there werent many people there and I wasnt too close to the people w/out masks. Will definitely come again for Noah and will make sure to pick a time right when they open to make sure its not crowded

I was able walk in without an appointment and the service was phenomenal. Noah took his time with my rather simple style of haircut but did a great job. He lined me up nicely using a straight edge. The warm towel was an awesome bonus so that I could literally go straight back to work without having to shower now. Definitely going to be my spot when I need a cut with it being so close to work.

Haircut was fine. Went yesterday and no other customers were wearing masks. Only half the barbers were wearing masks, and out of those few, most did not wear them covering their noses, which basically defeats the point. Lady at the counter was not wearing a mask. Masks were not only not mandatory, but not even encouraged. I’d say away for now.

Noah does the best, in my opinion, for skin fade haircuts. He is personable, fun to talk with, and always has you in mind when cutting your hair. He never rushes with haircuts either. Great barber, and the best barbershop I’ve been to!

First time at Vs and it was a great experience. For the last 10 years, I have been buzzing my head and have not used a barbershop service. Recently, I decided to grow my hair out and had reached a point in which an initial trim was required. Went in not knowing what to expect and I received a very high-end experience. My barber was friendly and inviting, listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions. The haircut turned out better than I expected and the overall experience with the hot towel and other services was phenomenal. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to Chris for almost five years! Not only is he a master barber but he is also a fantastic manager. I have never seen such great customer service. Chris has the ability to give you a great cut while greeting every guest that walks in the door, and scanning the shop to make sure everything is going well. He is a great leader and stylist and the reason why the Central Phoenix location is so busy!! I hope the company appreciates Chris as much as I do.

What was looking to be a first and last experience turned into a pleasant experience! I originally had an app with another barber (won’t name since I don’t know the reason for him leaving me hanging was) at 8:00am. It was 8:10 and he hadn’t showed up so I asked who seemed to be the manager if this guy was going to show he said he didn’t know why the guy wasn’t at work yet but he would get me take care of right away. Noah (another barber) had just walked in to work and after being briefed of my situation took care of me with no hesitation. Usually I wouldn’t sweat running a little behind but because this time I had another commitment right after it was crucial I got out on time. Thanks Noah for the great hair cut, great convo, and super chill vibe! I was able to get a quality hair cut just in time for the 4th of July weekend, get out on time, and overall very satisfied. Will definitely be seeing Noah again soon.
