10 out of 10! This place rocks! I came in to this place as my first real barber a few months back and Never enjoyed getting my hair cut like I did that time. As of today I brought my 5 year old and they were beyond friendly with him. Super clean/welcoming environment. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful, clean, experienced shop! My son and husband went in and we (my daughters and I) sat in the front waiting area. They were friendly and very personable. The hair cuts on my husband and son (2yo) are fantastic. This is going to be our go to shop from now on!

I was looking for someone who could give me a haircut that wasnt just a quick clip and Im now happy to report that my quest had ended!I literally stumbled onto Barber 88 while shopping at the Frys Food store at 75th Ave and Cactus in Peoria, Arizona. I happened to notice their storefront while driving out and decided to give them a try. Ive been going to the bigger chain venues and was hoping to find something similar to the quality haircuts I remembered from my youth. I was not disappointed.I stopped in as a walk-in and was immediately seated by a gentleman named Jone (pronounced like Johnny) and was treated to an experience Ive not had in many years. Jone was attentive to what I wanted and to what I was expecting in a haircut. Im happy to announce that I havent been this happy with a haircut in many, many years.There is a significant difference between simply getting a haircut and having an expert fulfill expectations. I cannot recommend this business enough. They were very reasonable on pricing and extremely professional. A very pleasant surprise was the hot towel treatment and the neck and shoulder treatment.Its my understanding that Jones wife, Athar, is also a very accomplished cosmetologist, so this is much more of a so-called full service business than may meet the eye.I will definitely be a return customer at Barber 88!

We found this place a few months ago since we were looking for a good place for my son and hubby to go to and we were beyond impressed! My son is 4 and very difficult when getting haircuts. The guys here are amazing and so patient with him and do the best haircuts! We are now regular customers and refuse to go anywhere else! I highly recommend coming here!

Like a real barbershop where the barber wants to actually have a conversation while setting my com over and fade just right. Really good price for cutting my 10 to a 1 and giving me a beard and mustache trim. Ask for Johnny he knows exactly what you want

I brought my son to get a haircut here.. they were very nice and did a great job people usually take forever on my sons hair but they were very quick here. My son loved his new cut they even added wash out purple spray (son requested color) to his hair it was awesome.. clean shop and friendly staff. Will come back for his next cut.

This is such a good find and friendly barber shop and salon. Our whole family received services here. My children received fades and hair cuts and my daughter a correction. We also had our eyebrows waxed. The prices are reasonable and the quality is exceptional. We are very satisfied w the level of treatment and services we received.

My wife and I wanted to get a haircut so we called our normal barbershop who was booked for days. So I googled and found Barber 88. I gave them a call and asked if they could handle a walk in for two and accommodate my wifes haircut wants. He was very polite informed me that he had three open chairs and he could absolutely handle it, and asked us to swing by. When we arrived all three chairs were full with a few people waiting before us, however the gentlemen greeted us and inquired as to her cut wants. We were told it would be a few minutes but we would get seen shortly. During our ten minute wait the gentlemen worked on two children making them look and feel amazing. He made sure their cut was what made their parents and them happy and even offering to washable color hairspray for the child if okay with the parents. Shortly later a barber was available and took my wife back and five minutes later I went back to the gentlemen who greeted us. He inquired into my wants, I showed him a photo he confirmed no issues, I also informed him I wanted my beard sorted as it had grown rather unkempt. He told me no issue what so ever, We chatted the cut was very easy and nice beard shave and trim was amazing. When nearly done asked if I wanted my brows trimmed as well, I told him I would and he sorted that as well for me. I was informed of the price and was pleasently surprised, it was more then reasonable. I would highly recommend this place and their staff, amazing for kids and adults.

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon... It was busy. But surprisingly went really fast. Ayden cut my sons hair. He listened and did everything we asked. He even added some temporary blue hair dye! So fun! We found our new Barber Shop! 😍

Our oldest son (17) got a haircut a couple weeks ago and raved about this place. We took our youngest thats 7 tonight. So nice and took such great care of him. Plus some extra wash out colors! Epic experience. Came based off of Google reviews to see Johnny for a cut. Called to make sure he was there and was delighted to hear he was. He took me in last minute before closing time and gave me the full VIP experience, probably the best cut of my life honestly. Im now sporting a new style I never thought to try. This man takes his time, quality > quantity type. My beard and neck were done to a T with precision. Johnny is also a great conversationalist.10/10, coming back soon and was worth every cent plus the $10 tip I left him which I still felt wasnt enough for the great job this man is doing for us men, especially during the pandemic when barber wages are down. Give Johnny a shot, you wont regret it!

Johnny did a fantastic job on my hair. He didnt rush through it was very kind. When it comes to cutting hair he knows what hes doing.

My haircut felt like it was worth way more than I paid for it. On top of that, they stayed open for an extra 40 minutes to make sure I got in. I don’t plan on going anywhere else for haircuts while I stay in AZ.

I requested a hair cut. i did not like the end result and asked for him to fix. he said ‘next time you come i’ll do it how you want it. basically saying no. he was also complaining about how he wanted to go home. it was 6:00 and was rushing my hair cut. i was the only person in the shop at the time. He did a poor job and did not want to fix my hair.
