Just went here today. They were extremely accomodating and listened to what I usually do with my hair and helped me figure out what I wanted. Extremely professional and thoughtful business. They took the time to help me achieve what I wanted. Definitely recommend for anybody looking to get a haircut. Great prices for amazing service!

Ive had my haircut at many places in Phoenix that are way too expensive and arent even that good,, at Joes I only paid $20 for a haircut and it was definitely one of the best barbershops that Ive been to, I definitely recommend and I will be back, thanks Joes..

Went here for the first time. It was pretty good. Their clippers have vacuum attached to help keep you clean when they cut and hot rags. What took me by surprise was at the end they give you a quick massage with a neat lil device. Took me by surprised but it was nice. Will go again for sure.

To start off, the barber that has gray hair and works with Vera (the lady) is impolite. A customer cannot ask a question that was asked on the prior visit, because he’ll end up getting mad. Showed no respect to me. I stayed quiet, because that’s the best thing to do. A young respectful adult is what I am. That was an uncomfortable welcome into the barbershop. Another thing I didn’t mention was that he was very disrespectful to his coworker Vera. She couldn’t find a piece to her hair cutting machine, while at the same time he was raising his voice to her, when she was asking if he knew where the piece was. What kind of man is he? I mean does he even consider himself an adult?A little mistake my barber (Vera) did was leave some long hairs sticking out by my ear. Another mistake was not making my sides from the top the same. One was cut more at an angle than the other. My shirt also got hairs on every inch of it. Never had that happened. Later that day, I gave them a call to talk about how my visit was and guess who answered? The disrespectful barber. He was getting loud over the phone, because I was asking for Vera. I just hung up. Never again dealing with this barbershop. Lost my business. Was my 4th visit, since I recently had began going. Guy has anger issues.

The barbers are friendly. Not a talker? No problem. Theyll provide the same service. Some highlights about Joes shop: Cuts are reasonably priced. Shop is clean. Chairs are comfortable. Straight razor finish. 30-45 second mechanical shoulder massage at the end.

Ive been getting my hair cut at Joes for many years - even before they were at this location. I live in the north end of town, so the fact that I drive down here every 3 to 4 weeks to get my hair cut at Joes should tell you something. Good people. I dont have a favorite person that I wait for, I take who ever is available and I always get a good cut. Fair prices too. They recently added the hot towel wrap and a back/upper shoulder machine massage which I love! Thumbs up for Joes!

Place looks really nice but terrible service. Lady wanted to do what she wanted and not the style that was requested. Said why dont you cut it then ... Im going to have a hard time doing that was really surprised at her incompetence and lack of professionalism. Especially since was told she would charge more for doing a new hair style. Just wowed how do people like this still have a job.

Ive been here twice so far. Both times my experience were good. Friendly staff and were nice. The hair cut came out nice as well. All i did was show the lady a picture and she went to work.Oh they also sell my favorite pomade suavecito. Thats a bonusId definitely go back.

This is the place to go for a great haircut or a great beard trim. I have a long beard, and I used to do my own beard trimming. Now, I just have Joe do it, and the result looks great! The prices are very reasonable, too.

I tried this barber when I lived in the area but I’ve moved about a 1/2 hour away and I still come here. They do a great job and I’d recommend them to anyone. Stop it, get a trim, and support local businesses!!

There are 2 things I look for when I come to a barbershop. First thing is the cleanliness and second are the barbers. This place has both great barbers and the shop is always spotless! Love this place

The owner and staff knows how to cut hair. Ive been going to supercuts since the late 70s over 40yrs. When i try joes barber he knew without explaining to him my haircut stlye he knew exactly how to cut my hair. So my Supercut days been over for over 2 years now, ever since i step foot in Joes Barber Shop. So i recommend if you want a good haircut, Joes is the place. All my sons and grandson get our haircuts there, great clean place.

Joe and his barber shop staff are fantastic! There are a lot of little barber shops out there and Ive tried many of them but none compare to Joes.They really make sure you are satisfied with the haircut and they are point with how you describe you want your haircut to be!

I always get a good hair cut when I come here. Just a FYI: they close at 6:00 pm now instead of 6:30 and they are closed on Sunday now as well. (Updated review) Stopped going here because they have inappropriate shows playing on their cable TV not good when you have kids with you.

He rushes to finish and he doesnt care details. He just set up cutting gears and shave off. He has to bring that details. Sometimes he doesnt even give options weather looks fine or not.

When I first moved to Phx, I needed to find a Barber, a vet and a Costco... In that order. I found Joes driving down 19th Ave and am so glad I stopped in. Very friendly staff, great price and you cant beat a hot towel and massage with your haircut. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Went there as they were closing, and they didnt bat an eye. They cut my hair quickly and still made me feel a little pampered.

Got a haircut here for me and my kids. The price was a little too high for kids, $12 each. I ended up spending $36 plus tips to get haircuts for the family. I dont think Ill be bringing my kids around here again. They didnt cut my kids hair as well as Id liked. As far as my haircut, it wasnt too bad, a little closer that Id like to have it but its still ok. Itll grow back. The layout is ok and place is really clean. Theres a flat screen TV but the channel was on some foreign station. The waiting chairs were pretty comfortable. Didnt see any magazines or newspapers to look at while waiting. The barbers are pretty much friendly.

I have been gettin my haircut done by Nadia for years! She always takes the time and cuts my hair jus the way I like it. Sometimes i miss her there and will have Alla cut my hair and she is jus as great.Nadia and AllaI recommend

Not really happy with my visit...i asked the lady not to cut down my beard shorter, the first thing she does is cut it down and trim it excessively, then when i asked her why she did that, she tried to convince me that this was the same lenght and height it was before, like i dont have a pair of eyes. And i dont know what my own face looks like...so all in all i am Not happy

Went in with my 3 yr old sons hair looking awful from a previous hack job, the baber (owner im presuming) fixed it up nicely. My son cried a bit and was apprehensive but he calmed down and it went smoothly. The people working were nice enough and offered my boy candy. Will probably go back.

I came in and the show a pic of a bald fade crew cut beard disconnected and the guy tells me he cant do it. He says everyones skins different. I dont need a barber telling me he cant give me what i want. Theres millions ppl with different hair like natuarally str8 or curly and they still make it work omg why do i have to explain this its elementary

This place is horrible! It is definitely not kid friendly.The owner gave me a hard time about giving my 3 year old son a haircut.He was loud, rude, argumentative, and refused to cut my sons hair.The owner yelled at me in front of my child, another barber and another customer.I strongly do not recommend this place if you have small child.
