Today was my first visit to True North. And I have to say that this is an absolutely amazing barber shop! I got a haircut from Brennan, and he does fantastic work. Besides the amazing job (My haircut was exactly what I requested), he was also so professional, kind and friendly. I think this is the best haircut experience i remember in a long time. Not to mention the really cool art work in the shop! I dont think youll want to visit another barber shop after True North! I highly recommend them without any reservations!

I got my first haircut here 3 years ago and havent been to another barber since. Conner has cut my hair each time and always does an excellent job. The staff are courteous and efficient. They also clearly enjoy their work, the customers, and the shop itself. I highly recommend them!

First time trying this barber shop. I got a haircut and a beard trim. The barber was friendly and the haircut looks nice, but I could cut a better neck line with my left foot, not to mention that I’m still bleeding. I normally do my beard myself, but wanted to see what it would look like if a professional did it. I won’t be making that $64 mistake again.

This crew is amazing crew. They know what they are doing, I drive 35 min one way just to get a haircut here. The price you pay will get you a top quality haircut and I dont think I can find a Barber in Phoenix with this top quality. I use Brannan and, hes new at this place and his service is top notch. But you can truly go to anyone here and you wont regret it.

Brennan did a terrific job in a timely manner and was thorough with my request. Even though I didnt have a photo on me of what I wanted he immediately knew what I was looking for, even if my description wasnt great. He made sure I was satisfied with the cut and made adjustments as we went to ensure that it all looked great. Ill be back!

Several months ago, I stumbled across True North on social media. I knew that I was going to be in Phoenix visiting a friend, so when I made it out there, I booked an appointment for both of us. My buddy said he didnt need a haircut, so Shadrack gave him a straight razor shave. He enjoyed it so much that he went home and ordered a straight razor and the same gel that Shadrack used. I booked a beard trim and a haircut with Scottie, and he did an awesome job on both. The shop has a cool vibe, a marriage between an old school traditional barber shop and the contemporary. I wish that I lived closer, but I will definitely be visiting every time I am in Phoenix. Highly recommend!

I have never had a bad haircut from them. I’ve worked with three different barbers and each of them do an amazing job. Definitely worth the 25 minute drive me.

Would zero star if I could. Beard got messed up so bad I had to cut it off. Side burns werent level. Hair wasnt even.

I just want to start off by saying I am not a person who normally leaves reviews. My son and I have been going to this barber shop every other week for over a year now and every time I come in it feels like hanging out with your best buds. I usually get my haircut with Scottie and he always does an amazing job, but today he was out so Shadrack cut my hair.This is not one of those shops where there are one or 2 barbers who are the best and the others are just there, they are all experts at their craft. Shadrack cut my hair just as Scottie would, and Connor cut my sons hair, and I am extremely satisfied. True North is really the best shop in town. Keep up the awesome work guys.

As a guy who cares a lot about his hair, I highly recommend True North. If you’re someone who is willing to pay a premium to not go to a random great clips, this is the place to go. My barber sold his shop and moved back to NY, I was dreading finding a new barber and shop. Ray did a phenomenal job. I am someone who does not like to give alot of direction to my barber. Hes the expert, Im not. I told Ray that I definitely wanted something shorter as it had been 7 weeks since my last cut but beyond that to do what he think would look good. He did not disappoint. Ray has been styling my hair for several years now. He’s friendly, dependable, professional, reasonably priced, and an absolute artist when you’re sitting in that chair. The new shop is a long drive for me now, but I make it without a second thought.Gents, if you want to up your style level, this place definitely has what you need. This shop has the ambiance, the products (they keep on top of new Hair clays and pomades as well as beard tools), and they take their skills seriously.Ladies, they’ll make your man actually look like he knows what he’s doing when he pulls out a comb.

I have followed Scott for about 7 years now and this is by far the best shop hes been at. The atmosphere is 50s shop, rockabilly joint, skater punk store. Small and quaint but filled with great attitude and awesome decor. This is the place to go to get that mop top cleaned up, that pompadour straightened up, the beard trimmed sharp, the taper tight. These guys kill it. I promise, you wont be dissappointed.

This is the best haircut in Phoenix! New place but these guys have been at it for years. The shop has a really cool vibe, great artwork and the staff is awesome. This is a Reuzel shop so all the products are high quality. This barbershop is about their craft, getting your haircut here is an experience definitely check this place out.

Was not impressed.. Friendly barber. But when i got home i noticed not only my neck line was crooked but also my mustache was uneven. Very disappointed.. Next time save all the questions.. Id rather you do a solid job rather than try to win me over by talking the whole time. Terrible job on lining my neck up. And i cant fix it cause its shaved too close already. Will take some time growing back.. If you go here make sure you are ready to expect an uneven shave. Even my boss at work noticed :/

Ive been going to Ray for a couple years now and am stoked he broke out on his own and opened his own shop. The new space has been done up right and Ray is AZs best barber.
