First time here. What an awesome local barber. The place was larger than I expected. Super clean ( for a barber shop) and the music was awesome. The staff were all super friendly and talented. I highly recommend this place.

Great Experience!!!! Clean Place and Professional atmosphere!!! Ace of Fades is not just a “Black Barbershop”, there were all types of people in there and there were a variety of guys and gals cutting hair and not all the Barbers were black! My Barber whom cut my hair was Chris whom was white young man from Miami!!! I am not going to lie, I was scared or scurred!!! I did not know what kind of skills he had!! Chris was on point, and did an excellent job!!! I went in there looking like Don King and came out looking like Michael B Jordan!!I liked this place because the men and women were friendly, they accepted credit cards, and they operated like a true business!!!! This place was All Aces!!!!

My first experience at this location of Ace of Fades and it was awesome! I took my 14 year old son and the environment was great and was a comfort zone for my son immediately! It is hard to come up on a great Barber shop when new in the area and this will be our new spot for a good barber!! Extremely satisfied and will definitely refer friends and family!

I go to this place on a weekly basis because they are clean, professional and a top notch fade. I see Orlando on the weekly perfect fade and shave. Always fresh. Kevin the owner treated me like family the first time I went. Hell, Jackie hooked me up when Orlando was out. If you want a fresh fade, shave or cut, this is the place.

Came in on Easter weekend so it was pretty busy, but everybody was up in spirits. Kevin was my barber, or should I say The Scientist! Gave me the best cut I’ve had in a while. If you want a quality cut I highly recommend stopping though.

Went in for the first time today. Everything was top tier. I got my hair done by a gentlemen named Chris. Good conversations and vibes all around. Of course the cut was top notch along with with hairline! So far, this is the best place to get your hair done in Phoenix as far as I’m concern. Coming back for sure! Also I recommend Chris as your barber, but I’m confident that everyone else is good as well.

Took my Almost 4 year old son here for his first haircut. He was nervous but they did a good job making him comfortable before and during his cut. Chris did a great job with his cut. He took his time and listened to my ideas of what I thought I wanted. The final cut was fantastic and we were very pleased. We will return for his future haircuts. Would recommend.

The most detail oriented haircut I’ve ever received. I came from out of town and needed a haircut before my flight, the service I received blew me away. 3 months ago, I took a chance to walk into this barber shop since my previous barber clientele grew more and more. I was unable to get appointments at his barber shop anymore. I walked into Ace of Fades, greeted with a smile and a “how may I help you?” from Naimah! Let me tell you, she takes her time, she very precise and professional! I’m a very picky person when it comes to barbers, so for me to leave a positive comments says millions. I enjoy her conversations and how she listens to you in what you want. She makes no mistakes and if she does she always good to own it! Wonderful fades and lines up every time! I leave happy and my partner always says “ she never fails you. I’m a man who likes a close fade and a sharp line up. The past few years I’ve started balding and it was hard for some barbers to give me an even line or blend the fade to where it didn’t show the bald spot. Naimah took the time to find out how I wanted my hair cut and told me multiple ways to help stop the balding. After my first cut by her I was very satisfied and even had coworkers, family, and friends where I got my haircut at because whoever cut my hair did a great job. She’s been my go to barber ever since. She is very professional, understanding, and goes out of her way to make my cut is sufficient and eye catching. I would refer her to anyone who is looking for a barber with skill and professionalism. Ace of fades is the place I’m going when I need a fire cut.

Best cut in town hands down. I go to Daniel and he always gets me right! He’s super accommodating with appointment times, and literally gives me the best cut I’ve ever had. Seeing that I’m from Atlanta, where some of the best barbers in the country reside, I wasn’t sure if Phoenix could hold a candle to Atlanta. So, I googled best barbershops near me and Ace of Fades was one of the choices. I took a chance and went there. Lo and behold, a female barber. Lol... When I say that she should be in cities like Miami, Atlanta or L.A., I mean it! She’s a boss at any style you want. If you are new to Phoenix from major cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, etc. and you are used to getting a good cut, look no further than Ace of Fades. Specifically, ask for NAIMAH... You will not be disappointed and you will thank me! Also, if you are a native of Phoenix and you don’t know about her, you are definitely missing out on one of the absolute best barbers in Phoenix!

Been bringing my nephew and son here for 4 years. They are happy with every cut they get. Kevin cuts my sons hair now but each barber is professional and does a good job. The environment is culturally diverse and kid-friendly. Great background music and usually sports on tv. Never any inappropriate conversations, tv or music playing. One of two locations and nothing but good vibes here!

Worth the wait!!! These guys are true artists, Orlando was my barber today who fixed a bad haircut from another barber down the street and made it look like it never happened, 10/10 recommend!

Forgot to write this review but this place is off the hook, best barber shop in town. Was my first experience here and was not disappointed, was greeted and didn’t have to wait long. I’ve noticed many barber shops are the best barber and everyone wants to wait for that person, not here everyone is great, I forgot the name of the barber but he’s from Columbia with glasses. I had a head full of hair and walked out looking different. Everyone there is nice, the place is nice. I drive 5 hours every week for my daughter appointment at Phoenix children’s hospital and don’t mind at all stopping by here to get my fresh cut because where I come from we got no barber shop. So I’m hoping a barber like this could come to the Navajo Nation. Was satisfied with my experience here for the first time. 👍🏽👍🏽

After relocating to the downtown area recently I need to find a good barbershop. After being recommended by a friend to check out this shop and see Kevin I am not disappointed. When I walked in to this barber shop it reminded me of the movie Barbershop with Ice Cube. Literally every barber there was giving people badass haircuts. Not just good haircuts but exactly what they were asking for. To put it into perspective I saw people walking in looking like scrubs and walking out looking like they were going to a just for men photoshoot! My son asked for what I thought would be near impossible (spiderweb in the side of his head). The girl that did it boldly said she could do it. I was pleasantly surprised when she came through and made my son really psyched to have a spiderman hair cut. I will definitely be back to this shop dispite the distance from my house in Cave Creek. The people were kind and they even had simply drinks, snacks and even toys to keep my son occupied during the wait which was not very long. These guys are definitely professional and they appear to all have been thought by someone who not only knows what they are doing but knows how to teach.
