FIVE STARS! Hands Down, Best Barbershop in town. Unbelievable fades. Wont go anywhere else for a haircut. Affordable haircuts that feels like they are $90 Hollywood Haircuts. Ive known Misha for over 17 years since he opened. The only thing I see people complaining about is that he wont cut womens hair. He explained to me that it is because his religion wont allow himself to touch women who are not his wife. It does not warrany him to get 1 Stars. If you are a woman, just go to a salon or a different barber. Dont take it Personally.

Ive bin going to Royal Barber Shop for over 13 years..believe me when I tell you..he can cut some hair...any style you want..he takes his time and does it right..and cheap too..If you want a good, reliable and consistent barber come see this guy

I went on a Sunday afternoon, a couple of hours before closing, no wait. I had an older Russian gentleman cut my hair, he paid attention to details, did a good job, professional, $13 for a fade, pretty good! The only negative was when he was using the clipper to shape the bottom of my neck and behind my ears, ouch!! Felt like he was going to dig in and cut the skin. For this reason I wont be back. What can I say I like a gentle touch, need to find a good female barber!!

Didn’t get what I had asked for, asked for a skin fade got a taper, asked for the sides of my hair to be left alone and he cut them good haircut just not what I had asked for

It’s Christmas Eve and the older male working says “You want a haircut?” I said “Yes please”. After he realized I was a girl, with short hair he immediately said “Uhh you know what I’m kind of busy today, you come back later”. I politely said actually no, I won’t be coming back later. This man refused me service supposedly because he was busy, but had one person in his waiting area, and one extra male(who I assumed worked there, or was a family member, because he was just hanging out in the chair.” It’s pretty sad that I was turned down a haircut. I know it’s because I’m a gay woman with short hair and he don’t want to do it. It’s such a shame the way the world is today. Do not judge others. Famous saying right!? I don’t recommend this place. They’re a joke.

Walked in and asked if they do walk-ins, guy said you need a hair cut I said yea. He than proceeds to tell me he cant do it. I asked again, can you give me a haircut. He said no, I asked why he said I dont do your type. Theres a shop down the road. Now Im not sure if he meant my hair, my sex (female), or my race. But whatever It was, it was bad for business.

Ive been here only a handful of times but everytime i go, i walk out with one of the best haircuts in town.

The best fades in Phoenix, Hands down! Ive been going to Royal Barbershop for 10 years! Im black and Native, so its hard to find someone who can do a great fade on my head, but Mike gets it done Fasho! I wouldnt recommend anyone else! I drive all the way from Tolleson just get his fades!

Called to get a price for an undercut. He said we dont do that on women. I asked do you do undercuts on men? He said yes. So I asked how is it different and his only response was we dont do women. Great business minded men there.

Terrible haircut. The barber pushed my hairline back about an inch and its not straight. Its starting to grow back and looks awful, like I have two hairlines. Do not go here.
