Roman is the best. But everyone there is good and they treat you great. Fair prices full services shaves eyebrow and mustache trimming and everyone gets a back massage which I love. Really look forward to that part of my visit. I found this place about 2 years ago and I wont go anywhere else. Plus they have a selection of hair, mustache and beard and shaving supplies and tools. I recently purchased an old fashioned shaving cup with the shaving soap to use with my single blade safety razor. I get a very close and smooth shave and dont spends hundreds on new fangled razors that dont cut as close. I highly recommend Central Barber.

Perfect and precision haircuts. Oksana is great..I wanted to try a high bald fade but kept #4 length on top that appeared mismatching to sides. When asked her for a suggestion as to what length to go on top she suggested # 2 to 2.5 guard with no bangs for a clean look. I trusted her and the result was awesome. I love it!

My barber for 20 years. Call ahead for an appointment during COVID. Otherwise 4+ chairs always means little or no wait for a haircut or shave. I have also done a facial here after my shave. I get my haircut every 4 weeks and it is always a great experience.

I have been going to Central Barber Shop for a little over 5 years now. Each haircut and shave I have received has been awesome. I really enjoy how Roman pays attention to my style of haircut and beard trims. I never have to worry about what I will end up with. If I want it a little shorter or longer, its never a problem. He’s always got my back. I have even had the other barbers in the shop cut my hair and they too have done an excellent job.Prior to using Central Barber Shop, I had visited many barbers and always ended up with a bad cut that just had to grow out. Not with Central Barber Shop. That has never happened and I will keep going back.Also they are very friendly and it is a clean and relaxed environment. Roman, owner of this shop, has been my barber since 2006. He and his fellow barbers are friendly with a warm greeting when you enter. I have been very satisfied with Romans work for the last 7 years. He understands what I want and delivers each and every time I visit this shop. Great barber shop in a nice part of the city. I just went here today for the 2nd time. Oksana cut my hair both times and I wont allow anyone else to cut my hair. She is the beautiful blonde. She does a great job at cutting hair and its more than just a haircut you get here. You get your head wrapped up and wiped off with a hot towel, a electric massager gets used on you for a couple minutes, a friendly conversation and Oksana takes her time cutting your hair so it comes out great. Oksana does fantastic haircuts for guys! She is very attentive and is careful to make sure what the client wants before she starts working. She does not act rushed or impatient while she is working - I feel that I am the object of all her attention when I am in her chair.Roman has cut my hair also and I was confident enough in his skill to close my eyes and say Give me a new haircut, and I liked it so much I have kept that style from that day forward.

This is my favorite barbershop.When I lived in downtown Phoenix, I went here about every two weeks for a trim and to socialize. I havent been to Phoenix since 2010, but Im visiting in a few days. Ive been growing out my hair and whiskers just so I have an excuse to go to Central Barber Shop. It is an old school barbershop, with hot towel and lather, shave with a straight razor, etc. I love this place, and I hope you will, too.

They cut your hair very well here, they are very thorough and detailed about your cut. Unfortunately sometimes they seem to cut your hair more in the fashion they want than what you want. Just be clear about what you want and I think youll be happy with your hair cut.

Horrible. The worst haircut I have had in a long time, if not ever. I normally go to a barber down the street (A&D-10th st and Camelback) but felt their haircuts were overpriced ($19) I decided to explore my options. After searching online for locations near my work, this location seemed to have good reviews. I called ahead to set up an apt as I get cut on my lunch break and try not to be gone long. The person on the other end explained no apt was necessary, so I headed in. I was pleased when I arrived and there were 4 barbers all with open chairs. I was hoping to get Roman, but when I walked in, he ushered me to the back to a large elder gentleman in the last chair. The reviews stated everyone was good, so I thought it would be alright. Wrong. The fade was okay, left me dissatisfied, but my line up was TERRIBLE. My lineup was taken back so far it turned my forehead into a five-head. I ended up spending $20 here, versus the $25 it would have been at my normal shop and decided the extra $5 is worth assuring I have a great haircut. Luckily the guys over at A&D have been cleaning me up consistently enough to allow my forehead to grow back in with little notice.

I have been a faithful customer of Barber on Central for a little over a year now since I moved to the central Phoenix area from Miami, FL. I tried other barber shops in the area but Romans service is second to none. I would drive across town just to get my haircut there.
