I made an appointment yesterday very easily through their Android application.I sat down as soon as I walked inside and was able to get my cut.They had movies on the television, but the conservation was not lacking.I would definitely recommend going here for your cuts.

I had an excellent hair cut from Carl yesterday. Im not great at knowing what I want or giving directions and he did a bang up job with minimal input. Fun conversation too. Shop is classy, clean, well lit, cool stuff on the walls, definitely a nice old schoolish barbershop.

I brought my 4 year old in for a back to school hair cut. My son doesnt do super well with hair cuts and I was so grateful for their patience, understanding, and speed! He got an amazing hair cut. I was also super excited to see they open at 8. We are early people. Will be going back.

Head shave was amazing, beard trim was to short. I tried to tell him I’m trying to grow it out but i want to keep it trimmed and looking good. Besides that Younan does a great job. Unfortunately i will half to find someone else to TRIM my beard instead of cutting it.

I initially booked with another barber but Carl ended up cutting my hair. He did a good job and quickly too. While I appreciate chatting sometimes, I tend to prefer just sitting in the chair quietly. Carl was cool with that and my haircut was on point. Definitely my new go to place.

I just arrived in Phoenix and was in desperate need of a haircut. My barber who must forgive me for forgetting his name but hes fresh from New York and gave me an excellent bald fade and goatee trim.

This is the first time that I have been to Vs and it was at the recommendation of my son who has been getting his haircut at Vs for over 12 years. I am extremely picky about how my hair is cut and as such stayed with my previous barber for over 43 years who decided to retire. I was extremely happy with the haircut I received from Manny, one to the co-owners of Vs. In addition to a great haircut the atmosphere there was like being around people that I have known for years. It was actually an enjoyable time. Vs is now stuck with me for a very long time.

Very poor service and gave me a horrible haircut. He was so busy talking to another barber about going to rocky point Mexico that every request I asked him to he ignored it and did whatever he wanted with my hair. When I told him to cut a little bit of my hair with the thinning shears, he was so occupied about looking for a hotel in Mexico he took so much hair off and it looked like a bunch of sticks put together from how much was taken off.He also gave me an attitude when I gave him a $5 tip. I mean he’s lucky I still gave some after the horrible service he provided.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

I have had my haircut by these guys for 5 -6 years now - they are repeatedly efficient, pleasant, and prompt, and they leave me feeling sharp and inspired. And they are good with youths. They have interesting stories, each of them and seem very worth getting to know.

Been here 3 different times and each time i have had a different barber. Im horrible at remembering names but everyone that has cut my hair has been fantastic. Unless you go in at a completely random hour i recommend making an appointment as they do get a line.

Went into get my haircut and after returning home found out they messed up my hair in multiple areas I called and asked if felt like when I called to get my hair fixed it seemed like they cared very little about fixing it.

Would have given 5 stars, but the shop it self was not clean. Upon sitting in the old style barber chair, I could not help seeing the piles of hair from a previous cut next to me.and at other stations. My barber David was excellent and explained some techniques and ways to avoid razor bumps. Great experience just wish it was a little cleaner.

I recently got a haircut from this location and received fine serviced. However, this location was not following any COVD-19 safety protocols. As soon as I walked in none of the employees were wearing masks and neither were 2 other customers while they were waiting (I understand that during the haircut is a different story). I had to personally ask the barber to please put his mask on and he finally did after I had to ask. The chair I sat in wasn’t cleaned or sanitized and there was hair all over it and the ground beneath it, which means they aren’t cleaning their stations properly. I am very disappointed in the way this location handled COVID protocols and if you are looking for a safe place to get your haircut I would not recommend this location until after the pandemic comes to an end.

The haircut was fine. Only one of the four barbers was wearing a mask properly. The person greeting me at the door wasnt wearing one at all. We havent done haircuts at all the past 6 months, and I finally decided if everyone was wearing masks (currently the law), it would be fine. Will probably not visit again due to this fact.

Very poor service! Came on a Sunday. Supposed to open at 10 am and we are still waiting at 10:15. No one seems to have the key. I usually go to the one at Arrowhead. There, the services provided are amazing. V’s at Norterra will always take shortcuts. The photo provided are the barbers waiting outside long after they should have been open.

This used to be a 5-star review, but unfortunately I will be looking for a new barbershop after consistent issues with quality and professionalism.I have been going to Vs for a couple years now -- they used to be my favorite barbershop in town, with one particular barber that I loved going to that took his time and cut my hair exactly how I liked every time. Then suddenly every time I tried booking an appointment with him he was never there, and would have to get my cut with barbers that I am not used to, which was frustrating because I never got the barber I scheduled appointments for. Recently, one barber gave me a spectacular cut and I only got to have one additional cut from him before he was taken off the list of barbers, so my problem continued. I went in this week for an appointment and found out during checkout that I did not get the barber I scheduled an appointment with, since I was not familiar with any of the names of the available barbers. My haircut was absolutely rushed and was nowhere near the quality I am used to receiving from Vs. In addition, none of the barbers are wearing masks anymore, which is incredibly dangerous during the height of a pandemic.It hurts to see such a great barbershop take such a hard nose dive away from the quality I used to receive. I hope maybe one day that can be repaired, but until then I will be taking my business to another shop.

This was my first time at Vs and the haircut and beard trim were very good/excellent. However, the deluxe beard trim cost more than the haircut, which I thought was odd, not to mention overpriced. Also, I was the only person in the shop but there was unswept hair everywhere including at my station.
