As someone who does apartment renovations I can promise you people youre getting robbed for what youre paying in rent, have a friend that moved in there and from what I saw before he moved in that whole place should have been lit up with blue tape for things that need to be fixed, not only that the security here is practically non existent, this is not a safe place to live, DO NOT PAY THEIR PRICES! And expect the owner to complain about how hes competitive in the market but not caring about their residence, if they truly cared about their residents theyd make sure their place is fixed up properly to what theyre charging you cant believe these owners have dealt with enough of them in my profession

So today the maintenance guy Fausto came over and took care of a bunch of issues which have been there since I moved in. Fausto was super respectful & knowledgeable & he got everything done very quickly. You can tell Fausto is a great worker by the great customer service he provides. Thanks Fausto. 👍

We just moved in the last few weeks and the maintenance guys Kris and Fausto did a great job fixing everything in our apartment. Also when our A/C unit stopped working they came by within the day and got it fixed real quickly. Arlene and Melissa in the front office have also been super helpful with getting us settled in our new apartment.

***DO NOT RENT HERE!*** Management is terrible. The management never cooperates unless you call corporate for help. Then they hold a grudge against you for calling corporate just so you can get some kind of response. This place is an absolute joke. They tell you one thing and then call back and tell you another. The only consistency this place has is that they make it clear that they do not want to help you. We will never rent from any community that has any association with this one what so ever due to all of these experiences. This place should be audited.

So far the maintenance team has always responded and fixed any request we have had within 2 days of our request. I know the new management company took over in January,. There is still much improvement needed such as water shut offs but obviously they are working to resolve these issues. There is still much room for improvement but slowly they do seem to be working towards improving the property. We havnt lived here long but thus far we arehappy. Hopefully we will continue to see positive changes.

Currently looking for an apartment and was very interested in learning more about this location. Called in to ask a few questions and I spoke with Melissa M. Pinedo, i believe she is the assistant manager. She was acting like I was bothering her for calling and she responded to me as if I was asking dumb questions. She was very off-putting. I asked very simple questions like do you offer virtual tours and what is the difference between the 600sq ft unit and the 555sq ft. She told me that the difference between the two units was the size of the units...which is redundant. Obviously I was aware of the size difference because I acknowledged the different sizes. I wasnt asking for a grand and immaculate response, just simply something that would be useful in my choosing a unit to apply for. This apartment complex seems very nice, but Melissas customer service is very poor and gives me an idea of what relationship I might have with the management.

If I could give this place -3 stars I would. 1 star is being too nice. Not only do they shut the water off multiple times a week, management does not respond to calls or emails regarding issues. The sink and oven have not been working correctly for more than a week. Management has been notified at least 5 times and yet nothing has been done. Now the toilets are not working and still no assistance from any Mod employee. I should not have to leave my home to drive to a gas station, just to be able to use the restroom. This is the worst place. I’d rather live in jail because this is legit a prison already.

I as a resident have lived here for the past 4 years, have seen this Complex bought and sold 3 times while living here and the most recent transition with Western Wealth Communities, this place has really gone down hill. They continue to raise the price of rent year after year, even after not fixing the gates, and removing all of the security cameras which was the only security this complex has had. I have seen peoples cars broken in to, I have had multiple packages stolen off my porch and my front door.I have made multiple attempts to contact Management over any issue, and have never been reached out to, or contacted back. They make sure their front office is understaffed, and any Apartment issues they simply never follow through with (currently waiting on them to fix holes in the bathroom from water damage from a storm a couple weeks back now. The hole gets bigger with any shower, and they cannot send anyone over on the weekend.) The longer that I live here, the more unsafe I feel. Just a friendly reminder they are not Accredited by the BBB (Better Business Bureau)You can even check for a complaint filled to the BBB for issues the company created with accepting Payments which has resulted in people like me and others to be charged late fees which they will not resolve.I am skeptical of any response to this review from their Management team. Simply put, if I am unable to speak to a Complex Manager who I have reached out to multiple times, with no response, spoke to the front office who tells me only a Manager can resolve the issue. Even reached out to their Management Company to no avail. What could anyone do to fix this issue? Long story short they get a 1 star, which they dont even deserve. This is a poorly managed Property and I feel horrible for anyone that choose to live here.

Lived here while under previous managment. If you move here i hope you enjoy cold showers, water supply is a constant problem. Also they hire incompetent staff to refurbish the units. They left the water on in the apartment above me and caused a leak pouring foul smelling water into my apartment.

DO NOT MOVE HERE.THERE IS MOLD EVERYWHERE AND ROACHES.Peoples dogs are passing away from the parvo infestation.You’ll end up paying $1600 for an apartment that has mold and pest and everything breaks easily or is already broken and maintenance is a joke. They try to lie and cover everything up.They lied about my unit having mold and had my family living there and couldn’t even provide a temporary unit because all the units are messed up. Now my dog is Ill. I’ve lost so much money already and still sitting in a moldy apartment after trying to get it fixed multiple times.

Overall not too bad. Anytime we had an issue within the apartment, it was fixed quickly. However since weve been here since 09/2019 the gate has never worked. They fixed it once I believe but then it was broken again days later. I have never had an issue with bugs which is good. There were issues with the water being cut off maybe 3 times over the year that weve been here but it was fixed in a timely manner. In my opinion it is overpriced to be so mediocre. Dog poop is ALWAYS left around the complex which is not appealing at all. It wasnt the worst experience but definitely couldve been better.I would like to add that they do a very good job with keeping the pools clean. Management was always super friendly when we needed anything. Well be ending our lease here soon at the Tides.

I have been leaving in this complex for seven months. The Mod just took over 3 months ago and it has not been a good experience at all. They started construction under my apartment two months ago with out notice and i have been infested with roaches ever since. They refuse to do anything but send in pest control three times in one month which has done nothing. I dont plan on resigning with the mod at this rate.

I was approved for a place late January. I expressed I was relocating but I could pay to hold the place. I was assured it was fine to wait for my arrival. I get here, its sold! Im told another place will be ready on a certain date. It wasnt, and I found out by calling the day of. Me, calling, not them. Mind you, Im staying in a hotel for 2 weeks at this point. Next day, I go to get the key, another waste of my time as they didnt have any keys to change the doors locks. Again, why cant they just communicate? I finally get the key, the apartment hadnt been clean. Im talking pet infused carpet, a sink that cant be used in a bathroom that only the shower head worked. The other bathroom had a tub needing resurfacing. First night here, a roach in the bathroom. The cost is too high for all the inconveniences.

I have lived here for many years and sense this place has been bought out i have talked to the office about how loud the kids are and nothing gets done and i dont like complaining but these kids near me are 7x louder than they should be and there is cars in the parking lot that just sit for weeks and even months with nothing being done and the gates never work properly at least one is always open and in the laundry room there is always 2 washers that do not work and has been that way for over a year and also now they are charging for so many extra things that my rent has jumped up over $90 extra a month do not rent here it is a joke and to add to it if they say it is a gated community the gates are always open!!!

I am a resident here at Tides North Phoenix and I absolutely love living here. Everyone here is so friendly. The office is so very helpful with any questions or concerns that I have. I usually work with Shayla in the office and she is very helpful with all of my needs. Maintenance is very quick and prompt as soon as I put in a work order they are there to address it with 24 - 48 hrs. Thank you Tides, I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Nice place to live until the gate keeps getting left open and I am paying for a gated apartment. Have people all day coming in here that do not live here and ever since the gate was left open my car was broken into and people are digging through the dumpster all night. When I asked the manager about what my rent might be for another lease she said I would be emailed soon took a whole month to find out what my rent was going to be and by that time I had already found another place. Not to mention people here have very vicious dogs making it hard for my nice dog to go on walks. Glad to have moved.

Things have changed! Been here for a while and since Mod Apartments has taken over it just increases monthly with their Conserve service. Neighbor moved in next door and was not made aware of this and it adds $50-$100 extra per month. You literally pay for everything! Increases in July 2021 $6 for storage?Staff has no emotion in their faces and literally have no empathy or concern for residents. It is all about the $$$$ You are not really safe here. Cameras were removed since Mod took over and I caught the courtesy patrol sleeping on the bench in the laundry room. Gates have never been fixed since they have been here.

It’s a nice community and the management seems very friendly and professional! My family has never complained and always seems to have positive experiences here! Can’t wait to visit again! I have live at Tides North Phoenix formerly called Crossroads for 5 years and I have seen different people in and out of the office within the 5 years and I couldn’t be happier with the staff and management company we currently have. They are very helpful and communicate everything with us. Property is always left very clean. Very respectable community.

Hasnt even been a month since I signed my lease. On June 16th, 2020 around 10:30 am, my apartment was ILLEGALLY entered without notice. The office claims that the lady, who looked like she was on drugs, was actually maintenance. The maintenance was supposed to be servicing a VACANT unit, thats not even in the same building as mine, but somehow ended up entering my NON-VACANT unit which has a Welcoming mat outside the door. Im not sure what their intentions were, but whatever it was couldnt be good. On top of that my unit was not even ready for move in, Ive had to file MULTIPLE maintenance requests on whats supposed to be a remodeled/updated unit. The office wants me to believe that it was a simple mistake, and basically said oops, without offering any type of reassurance that something like this doesnt happen again. I will be taking legal action against them to break my lease, and I would suggest not to trust these people, theyre crooked and shady, and who knows what would have happened had I not been at my apartment. In this day and age when people are being MURDERED in their own homes, a mistake like this should not happen, and is unforgivable.

Unfortunately a 1 Star is too kind. If you are okay with living with black mold and termites then this is the place for you. Luckily the termites were taken care of but the black mold was never addressed even after informing property management. This was only a couple of the issues encountered while living there. The person who we dealt when we were ending the lease was rude and defensive at best when asking perfectly valid questions. Do not waste your money here.

Stay away the gate is kept open all the time now and I have people dumpster diving and looking through my car window. Then the manager Sheila will tell you thing thats she can uphold or even remember. Please save yourself the time and energy and find another place thats worth the money.

I currently live at this complex. I can attest that this is not a great place to live at. Theres no noise ordinance, my neighbors are constantly having parties and are loud. The laundry room is always dirty and machines broken. Im never met with a friendly face at the office. It took 3 months for them to get a single key made. Water is constantly being shut off. At the moment, theres kids screaming outside. Theres transients constantly wandering the buildings. I cant wait to leave this place.

Since the Robinson group bought it, it has gone down hill. They put a mask on the place to make it look good but its old. They are over charging for things. And the office staff are rude and done keep their word. Dont get fooled just talk to some of the people that live here its not worth the trouble.

This place has become a joke. When owned by Greystar our complex was called Crossroads. The professionalism that WAS in the office then was INCREDIBLE. Now, the cesspool that is Robinson Group moved in, changes the name to Tides and has ruined what WAS a good experience. Our hot water was out of nearly a week. Our dishwasher was not worked on for A MONTH. They said they tried to enter the unit but they didn’t have a key cause we must’ve changed the locks?? Why would we change locks?? They are EXTREMELY accusatory, condescending, and the whole staff is a joke. The new paint job is nasty, the laundry machine has been broken for months, parking is a joke, and the gates that once opened and closed have been open for more than 6 months!!! This place is horrendous and we cannot wait to leave.

Recently moved into my apartment about 6 months ago and haven’t had any issues but last week I noticed a leak in my bathroom I called the front office and the ladies were very friendly they let me know a work order was placed and they advised me a maintenance tech would be out soon. Not even 30 mins later, Jonathan the Maintenance tech was fixing the issue. Even tho the issue was small He was very helpful and attentive .

One star is even too much for this complex! They need zero stars. Let me start by telling you this is a horrible complex. They just got new management and they are bad! The manager is so rude and they can never do anything for you! The walls are so thin I can hear every the neighbors are talking about! They aren’t able to work with you on anything and just try to give you extra fees! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here. I’m in the military and they made it a living hell for me to try and renew my lease while i was on orders! Worst place ever!

Trying to be nice by giving 2 stars. Lived here for 2 years almost now. The gate has never been fixed. Im paying rent for a gated community that doesnt even work. Maintenance crew is a joke. So many people walk around this complex that dont even live here. I constantly have to pull my gun on mfs messing by my car at 2am when I leave for work. Quality of tenants has gone way downhill. I highly suggest looking at the complexes on the Southside of the 101. Even though I dont live there, the lropepro looks way better taken care of and their damn gates work. The rent here shouldnt be any higher than the gross apartments on 23rd and Rose Garden. Maybe the new management can change things around but Im not sticking around to find out

Pictures online are very misleading. The photos of the updated floors and white interior lead me to believe this was a higher end yet reasonably priced complex but after the tour of the complex I felt the complete opposite. There was trash all along the route to the unit. There was a huge piece of plywood covering the front door to the unit we were trying to view and had to lift it to go inside. Kitchen is 10x smaller in person. Washer and dryer located in bathroom. Was not the same bathroom shown in photos. Overall very unimpressed. Wanted to tour 3 units and left after we view the first one. This was an easy complex to cross off the list.

Why are all these GOOD reviews on the same wave length? Its as if one person is writing good revoews but changing the wording on each seperate review. My gosh are you all at the Tides that thirsty for a good review? Look just treat your tenants right, live up to your words, keep the place nice, clean and bug free and fix the gate and then maybe you will get some REAL 5 star reviews instead of faking them. I was gonna move here but after reading the reviews im absolutely scared.I never said I was a current resident Shaila obviously this is a standard automated response. Another reason not to move there.

Update: Photos are from 1/1/2021First they told me my apartment was ready 10 days before move in. Then on move in day, they said it actually wasnt ready and that my only option was to move into a more expensive unit. I agreed, but asked they confirm the AC was working (it was 119 out). They confirmed it was and closed for the night. The AC was not working, and they wouldnt call back before closing the next day to tell me it still wasnt fixed. I had to pay the full move in fees, plus deposit, plus hotel costs for 3 extra nights with no credits provided.Once the apt had AC, I moved in and the washer was backing up into the apartment. The maintenance team and manager said it was fixed for days, but it was still flooding my apartment. I finally had to take a full day off work and they had to call a plumber who showed me the corroded pipes causing the issue.The complex constantly has hot water shut offs in multiple buildings for days at a time. I havent had any of my maintenance requests addressed since the middle of August. The management team isnt responsive and I even went to the ownership groups office in Scottsdale and they push you off with a regional managers phone number and email. She will not return your call and just forwards it back to the same property manager to reply.All of the 5 star reviews are fake and pretty obvious that theyre employees or friends of employees. Theyre charging high end rent but arent taking care of any of the large scale maintenance issues.Update: at the start of the COVID 19 outbreak the maintenance staff quit. This is common and the longest Ive seen a maintenance employee last is 1 month. Ownership drug out the hiring of a new employee for well over a month so none of the requests were being taken care of. After weeks of my smoke alarm hanging from my ceiling and constant calls and emails to the office, I ran into the maintenance guy while outside and he came to fix it (right after turning the hot water BACK on). My closet door fell off the tracks and thats been a problem for over a month. I constantly find hair thats been painted sloppily onto the walls. The apartment feels dirty 24/7 because the dryers dont vent outside! They blow all the dirt and dust right back into your apartment and we found there was NO filter for my AC.

Don’t move in here! The new Tides management is horrible! My lease end’s the end of this month, and the stupid white lady at the front desk never submitted my cashiers check into the system, and never ended the contracts even though I gave a notice! so I ended up with a summons to court with late fees because this dumb white bitch couldn’t do her job right! They need to fire everyone in the front desk, and actually hire educated individuals to run the leasing office.

Don’t let the five star reviews fool you (odd that they only review this complex and their parent company, The Robinson Group). I’ve lived here for nearly 5 years from the Crossroads to Tides. Over that time, the hot water boiler has stopped working dozens of times. Sometimes getting fixed within a couple of hours, others SEVERAL DAYS later. Most recently, the hot water went out on 8/24. When I called the office that day for an ETA on it being fixed, no body was able to give an answer. They were closed on Sunday and still no communications from them.Weekend’s over, maybe Monday they’ll have an update...called at noon, no update yet (“they’re working on it”). Continue working, try to call after work and the office is closed. Okay fine, let’s see if we get an email update (no), or a text message (no), or even a note posted on the door (no). No. No updates, no communications. Let’s go inside and see if the hot water is working, maybe that’s why they didn’t update anyone. Long story short, it’s 5:47pm and we’re on day three of cold showers and cold water to wash dishes and wash laundry in with no updates from property management and no real concern on their end.But at least the cosmetic updates around the property look pretty. You know, aside from the broken and fallen lamp post. And the open storm grate by the playground. And the shattered windows. And the storage sheds blocking most of the parking in the back parking lot.Update, called again on Tuesday, day 4 without hot water. The first two times, the calls went unanswered. Finally on number three someone answered and said they’ll have it fixed. In TWO DAYS. Okay, so we’re looking at 6 days possibly without HOT water? Cool, what’s the remedy? Nothing. They can’t offer anything. When the first person I spoke with hung up on me, I called back and got the manager. Cool. Let’s get answers.Question: How do you remedy this? We’ve gone four days without hot water.Answer: We have a tech fixing it now. It should completed within two days.Option 1: That’s not a fix, that’s looking at nearly a week without hot water. Remove the cost of the water for have every day we have to go without hot water. That’s a fix.Answer: Absolutely not.Option 2: Pay for a hotel for anyone without hot water. That’s a fix.Answer: Absolutely not.Option 3: Let the affected people use a vacant apartment to shower in.Answer: I have to check with corporate.That’s fine. Please do....silence. She’ll call me back by the end of the day if they can do that.When I told her that the Tides is violating their renter’s rights, she had the audacity to ask if I’ve upheld my rights as a tenant! Yes, I have. I’ve paid my rent every month FOR FIVE YEARS, without fail. I’ve kept my apartment clean, and the area outside my apartment clean. I’ve picked up my dog’s waste without fail. But yes, please accuse ME of not doing my part when you have been the one that hasn’t been upholding the law.The manager did say that she inherited this problem with the boiler from the previous owners. And that’s true. I can vouch for that. But a little transparency on their end would go a long way. Maybe not rushing to get off of the phone with me because you know you’re in the wrong would have been a good place to start. Maybe acknowledging that what they’re putting their tenants through is wrong would have been nice. I asked if she would like to go my empty apartment while I’m at work, and take an ice cold shower and she declined the option. Well, I wish I could decline that option every morning too. But I can’t.

I have been a resident here for 3 years, it was once called crossroads, since the name was changed to tides I have seen improvements everywhere. I enjoy living in my apartment now more then ever. The ladies in the office are wonderful and very helpful when I call or stop into the office. I went into the office to put in a work order for my dishwasher and not even an hour later maintenace was there and got it fixed. I am now transferring into a renovated unit because let me tell you they are gorgeous. Stainless steel appliances, grey plank flooring, white cabinets throughout it is beautiful and affordable. Shaila the manager has been extremely helpful throughout this entire process. Thank you to everyone and the robinson group for taking over and renovating my home i am extremely happy with everyone and everything! This place is a must see, north phoenix hidden gem!

Horrible place to live, supposed to be gated but yet every entrance is unlock or broke. Random drug addicts walk through the complex daily. My laundry gets stolen from the laundry room where the camra doesnt work. My bike stolen off of my second floor apartment balcony. If you like paying rent just to get your thing stolen constantly, this is the place for you. Spoke with manager multiple times, just to be told half the cameras dont work an that I should sit in the laundry room the entire time. Then the final answer I got was im sorry unfortunately thier are people who suck, we cant do anything about it.

Wow. troubling to see these reviews. I wonder if your at the same place? I dont know what this place was, but I know what it is. its a nice, calm, quiet and overall chill place. I was advised at time of the tour that they are under new ownership and remodeling the complex completely. My unit was or is a newly remodeled one that had some small things overlooked. Upon notifying Shaila, the property manager once, not twice, the maintenace manager Jonathon, came out and verified the issues that evening. Had the main one, a broken shower handle fixed and resolved in 30 minutes. The next day there was four people at my door to solve the few remaining issues, one being from the company doing the remodels asking for input on anything that could be better. When I say small things I mean small. Anyone thats had a home built or remodel done can tell you theres always things.Customer service wise, Brittany and Cindy have always been acommadating. They are nice respectful and quite pleasant to deal with.The existing residents have also been very courteous and respectful. Many of them offered help moving bigger items up the stairs. In general Id say its gone very well. I hope you like dogs cause there here.My only complaint is dont bug them at 5:30. something about closing at five, but theyre there.

This place is a dirty Ive been here before and after new management there is less parking the rates are now up to 50 to get a personal spot from 30 per month theres garbage everywhere and dog waste everywhere, they had built a dog park which is nice but the things are already showing wear and its starting to smell as you might see it is right next to the major freeways so there is constant loud fart cans and bikes riding north time of day night is irrelevant if you want to feel adventerous theres occasional gun pop off the laundry machines are old junk and if there was once a credit card machine and now they make you use cash box inside office feed cash no coins onto a card or there is no other way to do laundry on property there are some nice people and then some less than savory people here Id extend your search beyond unless better change happens not trying to make a quick buck

I would not recommend. This place was great when it was under old ownership and managmement. I loved the fact they always gave notice to their tenants about any and every little thing they were doing, preparing us for when they knew the water would be turned off and such. As we do have a right and should know if we are paying rent and living here. The old maintenance guys were very knowledgeable and helpful about everything. They would even be so kind to bring me my packages that were taken to the office. Most importantly never no cockroaches! They are in some apartments and have even seen them in the laundry room. Since the changes to ownership, management, and maintenance, the whole complex has under gone the most half fast remodel I have ever seen. Every detail is half fast done and looks horrible. Had a plumbing problem on a Sunday and called the emergency maintenance and they told us they would be coming out within a hour but Im assuming because it was a Sunday their day off they blew us off and would forward our calls or didnt answer our texts. There is no professionalism here what So ever. Dog poop everywhere! My little son cant ever walk through the grass without stepping in it. Its disgusting. They need to have tenants with pets make their dogs go in the newly added pet park only. And it would be nice to see a remodel on the playground if they decided they were going to remodel everything else on the complex. Parking is a problem because they have had these bin containers on my side of the complexes parking area that have been just sitting there unused for the longest time taking up parking spaces. Water is turned off without any notice. Such a inconvenience and feel there is no consideration at all. Also in order to do laundry you need to put money on a card from a machine thats only in the office. Alot of times they close the office early or close it for the weekend without notice then you are unable to do your laundry. Again very inconsiderate. I have heard from other tenants, maintenance men, and exterminator that their communication is horrible. Lots of miscommunication. Management def needs to get it together! Only good thing I can say is its a great and quiet location. Never any problems with other tenants. Never any theft from laundry or things I have set out and left out over night. But definitely will be moving when lease is up.

Please do not move here!!!! I moved here in late December and Im am breaking my lease three months later.there is never any parking, water gets turn off every other day. Had a flood in my apartment 3 day before they reach out to me by that time.. Everthing had dried up. Then told me someone other than my self called and and gave permission to enter my apartment 3 days later I am livid they allowedthat to happen. Dont ever call emergency maintenance they never respond..The office people are so fuxking stupid... all they care about is outside.. with that terrible paint job.. Dog poop every where. Also I have seen three roaches in my apartment. But unfortunately I can never have it treated cause I am at work and dont allow strangers in my apartment away.
