We have been repeatedly told that our air conditioning reading 87 degrees when its set at 73 is normal for the desert because the units are on the roof which is a blatant LIE. We have been told repeatedly that our ac unit is working just fine and there arent any problems with it, yet its so hot we cant even sit quietly without sweating. Multiple electric outlets also dont work or will not hold the plug, it just falls out. Stay away if you can!
Since new management a lot of improvements have been done to the property and it looks nicer. Ashley is the best!
Terrible. STAY AWAY. If i could give this zero stars i would do that. But the service i received from the manager or who ever she is and the receptionist who couldn’t formally introduce themselves was so unprofessional. I applied to get an apartment applied online, brought in the admin fee and was given a completely different unit “same layout”. During the process of getting move in costs i was given 3 move in sheets with all different apartment #s . Day of move in which we were told the apartment would be completely renovated it was not even near ready, doors were broken down, paint was all on floors, took pictures and showed them to the manager and she said we get what we paid for. We informed her of the closet doors being broken, and she said they were from the 80’s and we shouldn’t expect more. The disrespect that the entire staff was so inconsiderate. We paid for SRP to be activated, for insurance, and also Internet and no one seemed to take it into consideration. Everything was packed and ready to be moved in as we were told. Just terrible i would never move here i prefer living in my dog house.
Since under new management, the leasing office staff, techs and grounds tech professionals have been much more understanding, qualified and considerate than before.
Hello, my WIFE has come in to pay rent a couple of times, and been treated very badly by your WHITE manager. My wife happens to be a women of COLOR! The Manager treats her with NO respect! But as I have WITNESSED when a WHITE tentant comes in she is all smiles and falls all over herself to help them, ignoring my wife. BE ADVISED IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN I WILL FILE A DISCRIMINATION SUE AGAINST HER AND YOUR COMPANY. And by the way I did my HOME WORK, she does this with EVERYONE OF COLOR.
We love the location of the community. It’s within walking distance to Trader Joe’s, multiple grocery stores, a variety of restaurants and 1 mile away from Target.Woohoo!!We love the size of our 2bd/2ba apartment home 1260 sqft and it’s updated. We are very happy!My husband and I have lived here for 4 years and have seen the management staff change at least 4 times. The last staff and maintenance were great, they treated us kind and with respect.The new management company came in and hit the ground running! They are upgrading everything!We are so pleased to have them running this community, and we love the improvements.Keep up the good work!!Rebecca and Terry White
Ashley is great. Manager of the complex is extremely unprofessional and rude. She doesn’t listen to what is said and gives you a full run around. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
Great place to live and a family-oriented community for the most part. Its just tough to get a response from the office at times and sometimes you have to remind the staff 2-3 times to get anything done. Sometimes packages go missing and theyll probably raise the rent on you after year 1 as well. Other than that this place is great. Not a whole lot of complaints besides that.
Allegro apartments is nice, comfortable but when I left my apartment I have to pay 1200 dlls just for the carpet everything was clean 2 days I spend cleaning everything. Just 2 little red marks in the carpet. We take out some marks the big ones, but I never think that I have to pay 1200 dlls for two marks. 😭😭 they find the more little thing and you have to pay.. that sad because everything was good in one year.. we never miss the pay.. any late feed.. nothing. Not I have to pay only for normal used from the apartment.
If you want to get robbed then this is the place for they will ask you to help keep the property clean while at the same time if you leave your billing statement you are paying to pay for the maintenance crew they are polite and they are robbing you for your money they find different ways to go up on the rent you first chance I get I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy
I moved in from out of state over a year ago, from the time I spoke with them over the phone to my actually transition, Allegro apt management team were on point keeping me up to date with my move in. Once I was moved in they kept in touch & accommodating my needs. Tabatha and Michaela were very instrumental with my move as it was a trying time coming from a cross country. If something went wrong in my apartment which were far few and in between, it was taken care of. Anyone looking for a decent place to stay allegro apartments is a great start in the right direction.
So they use an algo to determine their leasing rates. So they will change everyday, and depending on you choices, only go up in price. I was told that it could go potentially down by the leasing agent. However since they went to so much trouble to create this monstrosity, Im sure they log how many visits you make to the site and adjust upward accordingly. Pretty shady way to do business... Heres and idea. How about you have a standard lease rate for each layout, and adjust with lease length terms. Not by what specific day you lease. There are many complexes who dont use this deception to tweak an extra months rent out of the renter. They will be getting my business....
Living in their communities has be an awesome experience for and my family. They offer a true family community, with the facilities offered and the amazing office staff. The location of my community is all you could ask for all in less than a block away. Dining, shopping, casinos, churches
From the moment Mikaela, Nikki, and Ernest began helping me with my move in process everything went smoothly. They were all very kind and worked with me through the whole process. During my time in the office I witnessed their relationships with the residents whom all seemed really happy. They all knew the staff and seemed to have a playful relationship with them which made me feel more comfortable. I got a great price for the area and since moving in have had a great experience here.
Ive been a resident at Allegro Apartments for the past year, and hope to be for many more; Ive had nothing but great experiences. Management as well as the maintenance crew are great. Its a clean, quiet, and very pleasant place to live. The landscaping and surroundings are very well kept. I will definitely recommend it!
Have renewed my lease twice here, love this complex and community. I am so close to my job and love walking my dog around the area. Management is also very friendly and know my name unlike some places I’ve lived before.
An update to my last post. There is a new management company on premises. The maintenance is getting done but the office cannot figure out the AMCPay. When the problem was addressed for the third time the manager said she has to call the corporate office. I told her to have the corporate office call me and she said they dont call! Customer service, I think not.
Allegro luxury apartment complex is a place i call my home, I moved in here March 4,2018, The process of getting approved here was very simple, Nikki, Mikaela and Tabatha went above and beyond to get me approved, They are so kind and very respectful and they all do a wonderful job. i have never lived in an apartment complex that has had such an amazing team as Allegro apartments have, Anytime i call and go into the office Nikki, Tabatha and Mikaela are always on top of what i am in there for. I never have to wait more than 2-3 minutes at the most when they are busy. Im very pleased that i found an amazing apartment complex that has an outstanding office team(staff). The office is always so clean and has such a calm, relaxing feeling to it, and i love the flavored water that they make for us residents/future residents and that they offer the residents/future residents fur-kids doggy treats as well.and i want to add in here that the maintenance team JR and Corri are awesome! the apartment grounds are always so clean, both pools are always clean and in order for us tenants to enjoy. they are always on top of things here whether its just as simple as my A/C filter needs to be changed, they always come and change it for me. One time my garbage disposal broke and i called up to the office and put in a maintenance request to have it fixed and JR and Corri showed up 30 min after i called the office and they came to see what the issue was with the disposal and then ordered a brand new one, it came in by the next day and they had it put in within 10 min the morning the part came in, they both Truly do an outstanding job. they are always respectful and smiling when i see them, i always see them waving and saying hi to other tenants here and all the resident children along with my children love them.If i could i would give ALL of Allegros office team and maintenance team a #10if you are looking for an outstanding luxury apartments i highly Reccommend Allegro.
I at first liked the apartment, but parking spaces are very small, and open parking for SUVs are limited. Then after being there for two month I receive bills for 10% of what my rent is for water sewer landscaping fees and administrative fees. The rent seemed reasonable but now with all these added fees in am way over budget. When you question the management they say it is explained to you but in my rent approximation sheet nothing is mentioned. Maintenance still has not properly cleaned and refinished my bathtub either after three request.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! I didnt listen to any of the reviews before I moved in but I should have!!! I was an amazing tenant and the management treated me horribly. I was surrounded by neighbors that were the worst... the cops were called almost every other day and when I told management they did nothing about it. Then, my AC went out multiple times during the summer. One time it went out on a Friday and the girl at the front told me that she couldnt help me because it was time for her to leave for the weekend. I went until Monday without AC with a 6-month old baby. Then, instead of crediting me the manager gave me a gate opener for my troubles. Finally my lease ended and instead of letting me go in piece, they are now saying I owe them $175?? Absolutely ridiculous. PLEASE NEVER EVER LIVE HERE!!! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!

HOW THE DO I HAVE AN ACCOUNT IN COLLECTIONS FOR A BALANCE I PAID (AND YOU CONFIRMED I PAID) ALMOST A MONTH BEFORE IT WAS SENT TO COLLECTIONS?!?!?!?! HOW?YOU BOZOS SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS ON JUNE 1ST FOR A BALANCE THAT I PAID ON 5/12. I CALLED YOU MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIND OUT IF I OWED ANYTHING AFTER I MOVED OUT ON 4/30 AND AFTER I DROPPED OFF MY LAST CHECK AND EACH TIME I GOT THE SAME ANSWER, NO, YOU ARE PAID IN FULL. UNBELIEVABLE. YOU INBREDS ARE USELESS.
These apartments are in no way luxury apartments even after being renovated. Their are apartments in the are that are less than a year old for the same price which are truly Luxury Apartments. Dont waist your time looking at Allegro.
I have lived at Allegro for 4 years. Im about to start my 5th year here, and I dont plan on leaving anytime soon.Ive seen this complex go through its growing pains, changed management, and now even doing a facelift on the apartments. The grounds are well maintained (theres always that one pet owner we all love lol 😉) but for the most part its lovley to walk around. The common areas are welcoming and you can even relax pool side most days and cook up some steaks on the gas grill they have as well!! Cheers!! (Remember plastic only lol)But lets now forget about the staff here at Allegro, they are top notch!! From the maintenance staff all the way up to the office, just always a pleasure to chat with. When theres an issue with something, they handle it with no questions and makes sure things are done right. Otherwise Ms Nikki will handle it herself and oh boy, that lady dont play!Plus, location location location ... enough said!
I only left one star because Yelp would not allow me to leave zero stars. This place is terrible. Dont drop your rent money in the slot because they conveniently misplace it. You receive a 5th day notice on the 4th day and $300 late fee. Management is crooked and should be arrested, although I guess thats why the management team was recently overhauled completely. If you move here, I highly encourage you to keep good records of every transaction between you and staff. ALWAYS MAKE COPIES of checks and money orders, contracts, etc as they will conveniently disappear.PROS:Actual apartment units are nice, though definitely NOT luxury as the sign claims.Washer/dryer in apartment.Maintenance is always quick to fix any issues and are friendly.Noise level isnt too bad.Neighborhood is safe and in close proximity to several grocery stores, restaurants, schools, police/fire station, medical centers, and entertainment.Never saw a single bug or rodent.Never had any issues with vehicle vandalism or theft.CONS:Management is shady/incompetent. Rent checks have gone missing, important documents (such as an intent to vacate form) have disappeared and left residents stuck for an additional month, communication within the office and with residents is poor.Internet is constantly going out.You can tell that the pool is rarely cleaned. Always debris floating around and the water doesnt smell chlorinated at all.Staff changed the locks on the pool and the front gate code without informing residents.Difficult to find guest parking. Only one parking space assigned per unit so residents with two cars are always taking up the guest parking spots.The back gate used to be accessible only by remote and the front gate would close around 7pm and only open once the code was put in. Hopefully this is temporary, but for two months now, both the front and back gates are always open so that anybody can get in.
They are AWESOME VERY NICE PEOPLE ARE VERY RELAXING AND THE POOL IS ALWAYS WARM AND THEIR SHUCUSY IS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH BUBBLES DOGS ARE ALOWED.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The management at this apartment complex needs to hire an official accountant to look over their files thoroughly, keep the office staffed so nobody is waiting, and just be more organized in general. My grandfather has lived at this place since June 2017 and it has been nothing but a terrible rollercoaster. Keep in mind my grandfather is 90yrs old, a veteran, and disabled. My grandfather was told that he was able to get the first month of rent free and he moved in with no issues. He has diligently paid his rent and caused no problems. Now it’s 2018 and we’re being told that one of their employees was doing some shady things with the rental accounts, that my grandfather wasn’t approved for the first month and now owes some back money in rent. They didn’t even give him a notice to appear in court and on the day of court he was IN THE HOSPITAL. Now the front office is threatening to kick my 90yr old grandfather out on the streets. This is truly disgusting and unlawful. My grandfather even paid TWO MONTHS of rent in advance and there was never a problem. He goes to pay for February rent and is told he’s being evicted. How can these people live with themselves? Not only do they not know how to count correctly but they don’t even take care of the apartment community. There is literally dog poop everywhere, there have been instances of the police being called multiple times, the apartments are NOT luxurious, etc. I’m still trying to figure out how someone who pays their rent every month and even paid in advance is getting evicted. Why should my grandfather have to suffer for the actions of THEIR employee? Not only that but if my grandfather really wasn’t approved for that first month, why did it take management 8 months to figure it out? If you are looking for a place in ahwatukee there are so many other places to consider. Don’t make this one of them. I apologize for the long rant but it makes my skin crawl that this is considered acceptable behavior from a professional business.
My wife and I went in on Saturday, the gentleman who we spoke with was very nice, kind, funny. He showed us two different apartments, one non-upgraded, and the other one was upgraded. We liked the non-upgraded apartment. So we went back on Sunday and we felt like we werent wantrd. The two ladies that were there, one being the office manager, was VERY rude. She said that we shouldnt have seen the non-upgraded apartment and the offer we were giving on Saturday was all wrong. The other girl in there was not listening to us when we said we needed to move in August and she keeped throwing July in our face. No matter what we said, she wasnt listening. After that I wouldnt stay here, even if they paid me too.
I love this place they were friend, I have easy access to the freeway the room that we have it was big it was enough room for me and my partner we love this place, was very well taken care I want to stay there for longer but my work got transferred to North Phoenix
I moved into Allergro on December 29th,Ive got to say if it wasnt for Bethany the leasing agent I would have gone elsewhere,She was a Temp when I came looking and. The guy Rashad was HORRIABLE! Bethany stepped in and made my experience GREAT! Also I want to also say Thank you to the Manager Ms,Carlson,She took the time to sit with me and make sure my concerns and Apartment I picked out was ready by the date I requested,Both Bethany and Nikki Carlson made my Exsperience great! Kudos also to Junior in Maintence,He remembered me when I lived in 1001 with my Mother,He made sure my New unit I have now was ready on time to call Allegro home once again!This New Management is cleaning this place up what a Team they have here now!!!Way to go Allergro!!!!
Management sucks. The apartments fall apart. Theyre tiny for the price they charge not to mention the insane taxes. I paid well over $800 for a 1 bedroom!!!
At the pool having a lil R&R when a couple hops the fence assuming they DONT live here and this wouldnt be happening if the main gates werent left WIDE open (day and night) for non residents to access our PRIVATE property.... Its been like this for the past 3 months (unacceptable) and counting, not to mention the concern I have for fellow residents vehicles and safety...Will keep u posted!
Horrible management. The place is falling apart. They wont fix anything. Noisy neighbors and the manager Donna doesnt care. This was a Big mistake.Edit 11/16/16. Ive complained multiple times to the new management company about the noisy neighbors. Ive written them lengthy emails. Other neighbors have complained. The police have been called out at least twice. Nothing gets resolved. Dont trust the management even when you have things in writing. Theyve given the guy an eviction notice, but continue to let him live here. Im writing this at 12:20 am because Im being kept awake.
