Ive lived at Proxy for almost two years now and were only leaving because were moving out of state. Everything about our apartment and this complex is amazing! We love all of the staff, enjoy the events that are hosted online and in person, and have awesome neighbors. The community is also super dog friendly- they love our two giant labs! There are lots of apartment options in the area but we chose Proxy because of its size. Living in a smaller building means that the pool and gym are never crowded and our neighbors are very quiet. I would choose to live here again and again and will miss our Phoenix home!
The staff & everyone at Proxi makes it’s a peaceful environment and safe space.
Ive loved living here over the past 6 months. I love the friendly front desk personnel and maintenance staff. The proximity to a variety of restaurants and art venues is amazing. Moving here has best decision I could have made for my lifestyle.
I lived here for 2 years, and loved everything about it! Incredibly friendly + caring staff, including maintenance services being very reliable, and great amenities + events year-round. Wish I was there for when First Fridays start up again, Proxys location in downtown couldnt be more perfect. Hope whoever is in my apt next loves it as much as I did!
The best residential complex in dtphx by far!! Cost is reasonable and staff is amazing!
Ferman has been absolutely wonderful. When I initially called he was very knowledgeable about the area and gave me a detailed explanation of the property and all the amenities. When we met in person he remembered when we spoke on the phone and showed us various apartments. He was willing to answer any questions we had along the tour. Ferman exemplifies wonderful customer service and working with him has been great.
Weve been living here for about 6 months now and thus far, its been a great experience. The complex is great and the location is incredible with so much a short walk away. I would agree with some reviews about construction noise, but its nothing too crazy. In fact, management was very attentive, aware, and ready to assist in remedying the noise should it become a problem. The current community manager (Rob) is by far the best manager Ive dealt with. Hes on it, keeps us informed, has great energy, and helps provide a strong sense of community. Other tenants Ive interacted with have all been super friendly as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend if youre looking for a cool spot downtown.
Robert and the maintenance staff have been so professional and extremely efficient. The inside and outside are always so clean. I absolutely love this location! There’s so much to do around the city. I would 100% recommend Proxy 333 to all my friends and family. Thanks Robert for always being so nice and welcoming!
My wife and I LOVE it here (as do our two pups)! We moved here last February, and are so glad we did! The property manager is super energetic, personable, and helpful. Maintenance is quick to address even the most mundane of work orders, and our neighbors are super friendly (Our pups are particularly happy that from time to time we take advantage of the pet-sitting business one of our neighbors runs)!10/10 would recommend if you are looking for well-run, friendly, downtown living.
The Proxy 333 Apartments, lead by Robert Valdez, are a truly unique place to live. They provide a clean living style with respectful neighbors and a core group of amenities. I completed my initial tour with Rob himself which I found to be a no pressure walk through with good conversation in the process. Explore the rooftop for bonus sunrise and sunset views.
I am so grateful to call Proxy home, from the day we moved in I have had no what ifs or regrets about living here. Although I have only been here since July I have created many great friendships with the amazing staff and other residents. The staff is always respectful and happy to help with whatever issues there may be. I am excited to call Proxy my home going into the future.
I wanted to share the great experience, I have had at Proxy 333. I’m one of the delivery drivers and every time. I have to take my deliveries I’m always excited to stop by the gorgeous property. My experience has been amazing the manager is so nice and friendly he always offers me refreshments makes me feel like one of the residents. As soon as my lease is up I’m going to apply.
Proxy 333 is a rare gem in downtown Phoenix! If you are looking for a place to call home with great amenities and a community, Proxy 333 is it. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a colorful handpainted mural that showcases the history of Proxy. Then you get greeted by some of the best people in the leasing apartment world. Lets first start with Fermin he is the always sure to bring a smile to your face(even though masks are required). Fermin is knowledgeable and knows the property well. Lets just say he is sunshine! Secondly oh man oh man... the Community Director Robert, his passion for Proxy 333 and all of his tenants is extraordinary. He values you not only as a tenant, yet as a person. He is very attentive and will communicate with the Proxy Community about events, construction delays etc. Robert and Fermin are the welcome staff you need at every apartment complex. And Proxy 333 is fortunate to have them. Thirdly Jesus maintenance guy is always one step ahead of the game. Youll casually see him cleaning the pool with his airpods singing away. Last but not least Elda the cleaning lady, she will always greet you with a good morning or buenos dias! She is always a joy to be around even if its just a wave. Honestly Proxy 333 is again a rare gem in downtown phoenix. You wont regret being a resident here.
Robert and Jesus are the best! Robert from the very first tour was so relatable and friendly! The location is best with so much to do within walking distance. The property is so well kept, it’s amazing! The monthly resident events are a huge plus! 👍🏼 🤙🏼
Absolutely amazing community to live in. We moved out here with a 2 week heads up & blindly chose Proxy as our apartment complex. We spoke with Joyce on the phone & liked how accommodating she was. We also wanted to be downtown near the bars & restaurants so it seemed like a great location. Proxy goes above and beyond to make their residents feel welcome & at home. Between the birthday cupcakes, smoothie Thursdays, & countless resident events, it truly felt like a family. The first holiday season away from family was harder than we thought, but Proxy provided that comfort & family feeling we were missing. We are moving in a few weeks to be closer to the friends we’ve made, but would absolutely move back in a heartbeat if we wanted to be back downtown. We’ve often wished we could just pick Proxy up & stick it in our new location. We will miss everyone here & how good Joyce was to us. We love you Proxy 333! ❤️
Robert was awesome and accommodating! This building is definitely worth checking out!
I love living at Proxy! This has been my favorite place to rent so far. Great stuff, fun events, and clean well-maintained common areas. The First Friday socials are a great way to see new art and meet new people. The gym is perfect for me and always clean. The rollershades and quartz kitchen island are a big plus. I highly recommend this apartment.
From the moment I signed for my loft apartment here at Proxy333 Ive had nothing but great experiences. The amenities are good, staff is accommodating and the residents feel like an extended family. There is a sense of community here that I havent felt at other properties. Ive worked in leasing and I believe that this Weidner property goes above and beyond to make sure their residents feel at home. Robert is a great guy and also very empathetic with complaints and resident emergencies.Im getting emotional even thinking about leaving this place because I wont be able to participate in our monthly First Friday get-togethers & other fun resident activities! Proxy is pet positive and a lot of residents have dogs or cats which I love. Maintenance is responsive and usually gets the job done within a day. Ill miss eating on the rooftop lounge area and watching the sunset on the weekends.Im now nearing the end of my third year here at Proxy and have totally enjoyed it
Love living here, the management team is professional, enthusiastic and by far the most pleasant group of people i have ever encountered. the building is always clean and quiet. neighbors are great. i hope to stay here for a long time.
I recently moved in to Proxy 333 and I love it. Joyce, Kristine, and Jay are amazing. If I ever have any questions or concerns they have gotten back to me within the day. The location is also great because Roosevelt is very close but being two blocks away makes the apartment not as noisy. The apartment itself is very nice and quite. Also, there is a fantastic farmers market three blocks away.
Joyce and Kristine always have a smile on and are always Welcoming. They do there utmost best to make sure that the residents are happy and well taken care of. We have many socials, which are fantastic and all prepared by Joyce and team at Proxy. Jay does a really good job in responding to maintenance requests and even comes through on the weekend if needed. Overall great community and management!
Lived here for almost two years now. The complex is in a perfect spot if you want / need to be in Central Phoenix, and the prices are the best youre going to get - this area is ridiculous.Ive had an excellent experience with the management team and maintenance. Communication from the front desk (which is regularly staffed) is frequent and regular. All my issues (leaks, drains, an electrical outlet that didnt work) have been dealt with promptly and didnt reoccur. Havent had anything big break yet. The common areas are well maintained and comfortable to use. That said - I see other people have mentioned the garage door. It is an ongoing issue. I will say Ive never had any incidents with my vehicle or property, so I dont think about it too much. Maintenance has always been as quick as possible to react when it breaks, and I dont get the impression theyre ignoring the issue. But yes, its happening, and its not ideal.Ive been lucky enough to have good experiences renting in my life. This team is the best so far. I love living here, and - not to be a shill - Ill probably check out Weidner properties wherever I might move in the future because my experience has been so good here.
Love this place! I have been here over a year and just renewed my lease.A lot of the negative reviews you see have some truth and concern but on the most part are tenants who are really upset at something else. Yes there are rules and restrictions ie. no smoking, no noise on the pool deck after 10PM etc. Management tries to keep every one happy and making sure that tenants comply and there are no complaints. There is a mixture of age groups which is nice and the location is nothing but the best in downtown Phoenix. If you are looking for a large pool, large gym or a party place, this may not be for you. The downtown construction and noise is acceptable as it doesnt start too early and doesnt end too late. If you have a street level apartment you may hear some noise and if you have a pool level apartment you may hear some also. It is not perfect but close to one of the best I have seen as far as construction and not hearing much on your side or apartment above you. Be weary when someone posts a 5 star review and then later post a 1 star. THIS IS DEFINITELY A 5 STAR COMMUNITY!! They are always adding activities and amenities to make people feel comfortable and as close to home living as possible. Many people have renewed their lease after their first which speaks for itself.
I moved in this April and have been very pleased with living here. The location is perfect for me as I work downtown and it is close to many great restaurants. The staff has been very helpful since day one and I definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place downtown.
My boyfriend and I have been living here for a year and it’s been amazing! Joyce the community director is always very personable with us and makes sure we are always included in all the events that are held at the apartment. Great place to live with great staff. Always here to help!
Proxy 333 is a real gem in the Roosevelt Row arts district downtown. It’s in walking distance from some of the city’s best bars, restaurants, and concert venues. The two things that set it apart are the good price for the area, and the wonderful staff. If there is a live/work loft floor plan available, run don’t walk to get it.
Awesome move-in specialpolite, attentive staff
My family and I lived here for almost two years and I have nothing but good things to say.Joyce, Jessica, Kristen, and Jay are some of the best staff you could ask for. Always polite, professional, and genuinely caring in their approach. I really feel like they “took care” of us.The location is the best you’re going to find with competitive pricing. You can easily walk to a number of coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. If you have children, the Children’s Museum and Science Museum is a 10 minute walk.Choosing The Proxy over other buildings in the area is a great idea if you want to settle into a community of great neighbors/staff and avoid the antics of ASU college students.
I lived at Proxy 333 for a year and am really sad to leave. Joyce and the staff are very helpful, they have created a great community. The only reason Im leaving, is a business move, or I would have been there a long time.Anytime there was a maintenance issue, they were quick to fix and always followed up to make sure I was satisfied. If youre looking for a place for business professionals, this is it! The location is great! walking distance to sports games, theaters, shopping, and many restaurants. If youre looking for a place to Party and be loud, this is NOT the place for you. Most of the complaints about this apartment complex come from people who think this is some sort of party place, and dont want to follow the rules or respect the other residents. The residents here are very respectful to the Quiet time and no smoking rules. Thanks Proxy!
Joyce, Kristine, Jay and Elda are the best management staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to know! The facility is always clean. Whoever I need something repaired, it’s usually fixed that day. They have updated the pool deck and patio several times. Thank you for the new umbrellas too. And it is kept clean and tidy everyday. We continue to love our home here and have no plans to move. I’ve always said, “management matters”. They are always professional and kind! Joyce goes above and beyond management with her event planning, which is always well attended!Thank you for making our home safe, quiet, comfortable and clean.Karen Minear#608
I lived at the proxy with my small upstart family for about two years.I have nothing but praise for the building, staff and location. The leasing manager Joyce was always friendly, professional and kind. She more than once was helpful and caring in her approach to solve any issue that might arise.Jessica, the area director was also professional and highly effective in solving any larger scale issues in the building. The building itself is modern and well located, with new businesses popping up all around what is already Phoenix’s best walkscore. If you’re looking at apartments in the area, proxy offers modern units at competitive rates, while having a much lower student population than adjacent buildings. It’s effectively a no brainer.
I would give the overall complex probably a 3-4. But, the management team...They dont care about anything or any residents. They are so incredibly fake! Assuming they make commission because when you are touring the building, they are so warm and friendly. But as soon as you sign your lease, they dont speak, make eye contact or acknowledge you in any way (the blonde woman & Jessica when shes here). They just laugh between themselves on First Fridays only. Any other time, they do not crack a smile or anything positive. You could even be standing at the front desk for awhile before they ask you if they can help you...or before they even get the other manager or whatever from inside the office. The only time they acknowledged me quickly is when I was showing a family member around the lobby. They acted as if I was not a resident and didnt pay $1300 for rent. Rudely said can I help you???? um no, you may not. Im showing my family MY apartment building, thanks though. The hallways constantly smell like weed that even comes under my door and into my apartment. They have SO many signs that say non smoking community yet dont do anything about the strong smells of weed. Oh and another thing. The building is not as safe as they claim. Security at the front desk is spotty. I once asked the security guard if they come every day from 10p-5am and he blew it for everyone when he told me no, we dont crazy because the leasing office staff tells you they are here every day from 10p-5am. This leads me to my next thing...the garage door is constantly broken! It gets stuck up and with the garage being in an alley....this isnt safe! takes them about 2 weeks to fix the problem. Once youre in the garage, youre in the building...you do the math.Anyway. The apartments are very modern. I love the large windows they have. Super small apartments, but I love that. The pool is the size of a jacuzzi. The gym is the size of a bathroom stall if even. So many things about this apartment complex that can be avoided at others. Oh and they dont take any complaints seriously. They brush it off because they dont want to actually handle problems. The janitors/cleaners/service technicians are SO GREAT!!! The halls are always smelling so good...maintenance is handled in a timely manner and the building is overall very clean! The janitors are also so friendly. Always cleaning with a smile! All in all, I cant wait to move out specifically because of the management team! (didnt use my full name because I still live here and do not want to be targeted in any way)
I am happy that I rented at proxy. Small building, great staff plus friendly neighbors
Wonderful staff and wonderful apartment complex. Great place for dogs and in a great location close to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars.
I love this place! The staff are so great and attentive, it’s clean, it’s beautiful ... couldn’t ask for a better place to live - Live here!
Horrible money hungry management, in a Great location, with very friendly neighbors. Major construction noise next door.Build quality is substandard for the price. Cabinets and flooring are the worst I’ve seen in any new build apartment. Electrical wiring issues cause light bulbs to blow out quickly and often. I suggest to keep looking for your next home.
I literally have to SLEEP on a blow up mattress in my BATHROOM because the NOISE from the construction is so LOUD and the blinds that are installed block out virtually no light. The construction FREQUENTLY starts at 6:30 AM during the week and as well as SATURDAYS. The POOL is literally the size of about 10 standard-sized BATHTUBS put together and NOONE ever uses it because it feels as though the whole Construction company NEXT DOOR is trying to STARE down at you. I’ve even had a couple people make DEROGATORY comments from their balcony while I was trying to relax in the oversized bath tub they call a pool. The parking garage was unintelligently designed. It only extends up to the second FLOOR and doesn’t go all the way up to the higher floors. You can definitely find BETTER PLACES in the area. Even right down the street off of Roosevelt. The prices are going to be a little higher but AT LEAST YOU WONT HAVE TO SLEEP ON YOUR BATHROOM FLOOR. Watch, management is going to reply saying that “They don’t have my name on file here” or whatever. But I AM A current resident. I was not going to sit up here and post a review using my real name so they can try and target me or whatever. Just DONT RENT HERE PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Trust me. You don’t want to have to be writing reviews while laying on a blowup mattress on your bathroom floor like me. CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT! Oh and by the way, DONT LISTEN to Corey Walton’s review. I’m sure he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. I don’t party and I don’t make noise. I don’t have a problem with the rules. How you like them apples 🍏?
Great and very affordable place to live in downtown Phoenix.
Management didnt give us the time of day when we came to view the apartment. Didnt seem to care at all, 2 of the 3 women ignored us completely the entire time we were there.
With all of these new apartment buildings downtown, you can certainly find a better apartment for the price they ask. This apartment building is flashy and new. Will definitely catch your eye. But once you move in, you realize how cheaply made and put together it really is. Floor is a peal able wood look a like, underneath that is concrete. The cabinets are put together sloppy and like someone was trying to hurry through them, you constantly need to tighten the hinges or they will fall off. The sealant around the tubs and counter tops was pealing away. They have the washer and dryer hooked up to regular 120 Volt plugin when they need a 240 Volt plug in, so they constantly shut off mid load and needed the breaker to be switched back on to resume the laundry cycle. Amenities here are nothing special, every other apartment complex offers the same things: wifi in the lobby, a tiny gym area, a common area with a tiny pool the size of large hot tub, a concierge service (just google it), bike room and local artist come set up their paintings in the lobby, which would be nice but the lobby is so small you can barely maneuver a bike through the maze of paintings. They have this 3rd party company that came in and built lockers for boxes that come in the mail, and you have to use them. If you dont collect the package within 48 hours they will charge you for keeping it safe. So if you go on a trip and a box gets delivered you will pay for all the days you are away. Management is fine, they smile when you walk in and thats about it. A lot of the apartments are still un-rented, like the street level lofts and all the two bedrooms. It doesnt help that the lofts are smaller than the one bedrooms but cost a few hundred dollars more. With all the homeless people walking on the street, I am not sure why anyone would want an apartment with the front door right on the street with no gate or front patio area. Since the building is not all occupied, it sometimes feels like a ghost town. You get a very eerie feeling when you are swimming the pool with all the dark empty apartments staring down at you, not knowing if someone is staring at you behind the closed windows. All in all I was not impressed by living here, its like your high school boyfriend/girlfriend: very good looking on the outside, but the longer you are with them the more realize how much they are lacking on the inside.
Been living here for 4 months. It feels like I am paying/living in a very expensive daycare with all the rules and regulations here. Getting fined based on here say with no actual evidence. With a lot of street noise (vehicles and pedestrians) coming into the unit. You can hear your upstairs neighbors every foot-step, conversations, and activities.
Flimsier than they look. Stayed the night there and the noise told me I didnt want to live there.
Friendly and caring staff
Horrible money hungry!!
Great place
