Overall I had a great experience living at the station. I lived there for three years and never had any major issues. The staff is friendly and really helped me out my last month there— I needed to extend my lease by a week but my unit was already rented out. I spoke with Taylor about it and she was very helpful with the situation. She was able to get my lease extended and everything worked out perfectly. Thank you, Taylor! :)
Ive been living here for about three months now, and honestly I have nothing to complain about. Taylor helped us the whole time and shes great. The apartment is amazing, very spacious, updated, natural light. My roommate and I love it! Its a clean community and I had some maintenance issues with my fridge and dishwasher but they got it handled very fast! I appreciate the staff for being so responsive.
Resident of a 2Bd/2Ba unit on the second floor from 2018 to 2020Pros:Good location for Phoenix light-rail and Indian School Park. The common area allows for a lot of natural light thanks to the large windows and open floor plan. The kitchen counters have sufficient space for two people to be cooking at the same time.Master bedroom closet is large. Both bathrooms have two cabinets worth of storage.Cons:Significant water damage following every rainstorm.-The living room ceiling as well as the balcony ceiling collapsed from the collection of rain water.-This occurred three times in about one year, and to many units in the complex.-Bedroom windows leaked during rainstorms.Mismanagement of critical repairs.-The second ceiling collapse event went un-repaired for six months and then took one month to complete, rendering the living room unusable for half of a year. The long wait was partially due to the long list of units that required similar repair.-The first ceiling collapse went un-repaired for over a month.-The third ceiling collapse went un-repaired for at least a month and was still un-repaired upon move-out.Most notably, no form of compensation was provided for any of the water damage events. In short:This complex has potential with well styled kitchens and a heated pool, but the inability to maintain structural integrity during storms proved it to be an unsafe place to live. Additionally, the management (not the staff), offers poor customer service.
Thanks to Annie for being professional and responsive during the application and move in phases. Shout out to Leo for checking on my kitchen sink during a holiday and replacing my faucet while I was out at work.
SO unprofessional. We made an online appointment to tour the property, and drove 30 min on a Saturday morning to visit. When we arrived, they told us that they couldn’t show us ANY apartment (not even just the type we were interested in— ANY), and not only that, but they didn’t even offer us a tour of the amenities or anything, just basically told us to leave. All this even though they had vacant properties AND we had made an appointment. VERY unprofessional. If our experience is any indication of what they are like as a leasing company, I would never want to live here. Find a better leasing company. Not worth it.
Update: i posted a negative review with multiple issues around the complex.. The complex manager called and talked with me and then came and ask me to walk around the complex to show her the issues. We walked the complex and she let me know how they were addressing each of the issues I raised. They are taking the issues to heart and are working on addressing them. I have deleted the negative issues and will hopefully see the fixes happen before too long.
I’ve been living here since February 2018, and I love this place. Like every apartment complex, there are pros and cons. However, the pros outweighs the cons by quite a bit (in my opinion).Pros:- The interior: lots of sunlight, modern and open space, and not too big but not too small either. It also smells nice (not musty at all) and the patio is decent. Walls are thick enough not to hear everything your neighbor is doing.- The neighbors: generally quiet neighbors with a wide age variety - from families with kids to college students to working adults to the retired. There is also diversity of all types, which I really appreciate!- Parking: lots of guest parking, although it is on the roof. At least you rarely have to worry about your friends having to find a parking spot.- Very pet friendly! Love seeing all the animals.- Amenities: the pools are beautiful and clean, and the gym is pretty well-equipped. Not the best, but you can get a good work out in with the equipment provided.- Packages: love the new Parcel Pending that locks your packages for you, so you don’t have to worry about theft (as long as the mail is delivered there, and not to your door - it happens).- Staff: I’ve never had a problem with the staff. They also respond to my maintenance requests within a couple of days, including my horrible cockroach problem I had for the first 6 weeks. They tried their best to resolve it as quickly as possible. I haven’t had an issue since with bugs.- Public transportation: the lightrail is across the street, and bus 41 is right there. I love that I can go downtown in 20 minutes without having to pay or worry about parking.- Location: I like this location. Next to the park, close to downtown, not too far from anything in metropolitan Phoenix. There are also bars and coffee shops within walking/biking distance :)Cons:- Security: although there is a gate, we have had some intruders since the gate opens so much. There is also only one lock on the front doors - wish there was a deadbolt, at least. And the windows on the patio could be easily smashed.- Insulation: The walls are very poorly insulated. It doesn’t help that I’m on the top floor, but I’ve noticed that the interior of my apartment almost matches the outdoors by a few degrees. I try my best to save electricity (blackout curtains, keeping the temperature around 78-82 in the summer, 65ish in the winter), using LED lights, using the MAX saver plan with APS and using larger appliances during off-peak hours, but it still takes quite a bit of electricity. I pay around $60-$70 in the winter months and $110-130 during summer months for my 1B1B (2018 prices). At least we get a lot of light - compromise.- Accesiblity: there is only one elevator in the entire complex (it is 3 blocks long), and it takes me a solid 3-4 minutes to go from my car to my apartment. It’s huge. However, there are a lot of stairs! All in all, I’m happy to be living here. My apartment situation is very important to me, and I think I’ll be living here until I get a house or until the prices increase drastically.
I love it here. The staff are so friendly and quick to help with maintenance requests and questions. The location is terrific and the place is so well maintained. The rent is very reasonable considering that. The residents are also friendly and mature, no trouble makers here that Ive encountered. I see many dogs, I imagine its great if youre a pet owner as well.
I have lived here almost a year and love it! Our apartment is a dream in layout, in square footage and in design-ability (if that’s a word lol). Apartment is up to date, modern and offers plenty of “white space” for design and furniture to look clean and crisp. Pools are always maintained and heated and offer an awesome place to relax. BBQ’s on almost every corner, awesome workout facility and spin gym. Friendly neighbors and an overall great place to feel at home in the midst of the Uptown City life. You are truly in proximity to everything, including all the best restaurants/coffee shops. While amenities and location are great, the staff are really what make it feel like home. Always friendly, responsive and caring. Whenever there is an issue (rare) I know they will always do their absolute best to help me resolve it in a timely manner. Overall, I won’t live in another apartment complex until it’s time to buy a home!
Scheduled a tour for 10:00am 1, arrived no one came to door. Called then was told it was a virtual tour and I needed to reschedule. If it was going to be virtual why was the information not given by email to me and why did it need to be rescheduled. Poor customer service and communication skills.
I recently had a miscommunication with the office/maintenance. Once they realized my issues had not been addressed they immediately took care of the maintenance issues I was having. The property manager Darlene is wonderful and her customer service is top notch! Thanks so much for everything!
I just moved a month ago from NYC to Phoenix and have been extremely satisfied with my decision. The property is well maintained, my apartment is spacious and my overall experience has been greatly. The city of Phoenix is wonderful and there are plenty of night clubs, restaurants, and sporting venues in the nearby Downtown area.Now....I just need to adjust to the Phoenix weather and its not even close to summer 🥵
A little expensive, but overall Ive had a great experience! Ive been at this property for almost two years now and would love to continue living here -- the cost of the apartments did increase after renovations, but thats to be expected. The staff is wonderful and accommodating and the property manager is one of the sweetest humans that I have ever met. The Station is an amazing complex.
Lived in this community for almost a year, best living experience in Phoenix so far. The apartments are spacious and new, maintenance is prompt and the neighbors are awesome. Would definitely recommend.
Just moved into a 1B1B and so far my boyfriend and I are loving it! There is so much natural light in the apartment and the space is recently renovated so there is new flooring, countertops, backsplash, appliances and more! The door has a deadbolt and a latch on it, and there is also a security system you can set up for extra safety. The parking garage is gated and is great. there’s always parking on the top for guests or extra vehicles.Secondly, I have to give a shoutout to Annie in the leasing office. If you ever need anything, she is definitely the one to go to. She is so nice, helpful, and informative. She has made everything about moving easy and we are so appreciative of her!I’m looking forward to experiencing the amenities the complex has to offer through our time living here, and enjoying the great location. Definitely would recommend!
Leo the maintenance guy is the best there that ever know in my life he so professional and fast he do such a quality job and I really really appreciate this gentleman thank you Leo
I’ve lived here since August and been very happy. They added lockers for packages for easy pick up and to prevent other people stealing your packages left at the door. I love the location. I personally don’t find it a loud place to live. The grounds are very well kept. The club house is great!! I haven’t had to make any requests from management yet. Everyone here for the most part is friendly. Oh yah, dog friendly!!!
Lived there 2 years and have no significant complaints. Maintenance was usually reasonably fast. The amenities are well taken care of. The apartment itself was nice. Overall a good experience.
The Station on Central has been my home for the past three years. Its in a fantastic location, literally next door to Steele Park and a light-rail stop. Sadly, the positives end there. The most frustrating part of living here is dealing with their staff. Ask one of them a question and youll get a different answer from their coworker. They are incredibly apathetic and are slow to communicate (if at all). Part of this is likely attributed to a revolving door of employees and change of ownership. At the time of this writing, Im still waiting on them to correct a billing error that occurred two months ago. There are also frequent annoyances. Every Friday youll wake up to an army of leaf-blowers between 6-8am. Theyll also need to enter your apartment one day out of the month for some reason or another. Their policies are also silly; so consider reading over the lease agreement several times over. Theyll hit you with whatever they can like failing to notify them 2-months before the end of your lease. The Station on Central is likely the most affordable and convenient apartment in the uptown area. Just be aware of what youre walking into.
Great square footage and price. Layout is good for a one bedroom, no ridiculous fees like valet waste, nice common-areas, and friendly staff. After my first few months, I have no complaints.
This community is perfect for the younger generation! Location is perfect! It’s close to downtown Phoenix, great restaurants and night life! The two leasing agents Armando and Unique are very friendly and willing to help you out when ever you need! I recommend anyone that wants to live here.
My boyfriend and I were just looking for apartments for now and we stumbled across this apartment and were very impressed. The staff was very informative and seemed to be able to answer each and everyone of our questions when we had gone there for a tour. I absolutely love the location. We still continued to look around for other apartments afterwards that may be closer to our work. Even after we kept looking around, we still thought about this place because of how friendly the staff is. We are looking to move sometime in December and when we do, I will post another update after I had been living here, but so far we were told that everything is newly renovated and the property looks very clean. So far, I have no complaints at all, but when we decide to move here I will post an update.
I have been here for a year. Staff is friendly and I am encouraged by the improvements. However, they raised my rent. I understand business, but when new tenants get my old apartment at my old rent, while raising the rent on me, its hard to swallow. But in weighing the hassle of moving, I decided to stay one more year. I hope that they will consider retaining renters at a more consistent and gradual increase, as opposed to having me move out, rent the place to a new tenant for less that what I was paying in rent. But overall, the place is nice, location is awesome, its quiet, and I do love living here.
If Max Properties is ever going to make this property their showcase property then they are going to need a competent office staff. From the leasing agents to the manager, this place is a complete mess and incredibly unprofessional. They lack effort and communication when it comes to helping residents. It’s unfortunate some of my friends live here and I’m happy they will be moving soon. As for the management company, rather than replying to this rating, go make a real change with this property.
Only lived here for 3 months, we didn’t want to be here any longer. The units are nice, and the complex is clean overall but the area is ridiculously busy. It’s pretty loud outside due to being right off Indian School & the light rail. Our biggest issue was the staff. They were nice usually BUT, they don’t answer the phones in the office. I’ve watched them ignore the phone ringing in person as well. They also won’t notify residents when a package arrives...you have to call them and ask if it’s there...(and they never answer so you usually end up going to the office to find out). Office staff is really unorganized and messed up in the info they gave us plenty of times.Maintenance also came into our apt when we weren’t home without permission, and made a huge mess and didn’t put things back when they left. They took FOREVER to do repairs and when they did the repair, they did a terrible job patching the dry wall. They also climbed onto our balcony somehow to paint without notifying us, and they knocked all of our balcony furniture down and didn’t fix it. They were very polite though. If you don’t mind noise/traffic, don’t receive packages and don’t mind maintenance and staff being super inconvenient, it should be fine for you!
UPDATE (10/18/2018): The new management has really improved the property! The maintenance workers are much better and faster than before and the people in the office are so much friendlier now, the rude people that used to work there are gone.June 2017: I have lived here for one month and so far the toilet was running nonstop and the water company called because our bill was too high and assumed we had a leak, the garbage dispose broke, the bathroom sink stopper broke, the a piece of the baseboard broken with a nail sticking out, the washer flooded out entire apartment and the apartment below us, and the resident downstairs said this happened about a month ago and other residents tell us this happens frequently. I guess it is well known that this property has problems with plumbing and appliances. Also, the gates are really old and hard to open and they slam really loud making it hard for people to sleep that live by any of the many many gates. The gym is really old and everything is broken there too.The upside it that these are cheap apartments, you get what you pay for. The pool is pretty, but usually dirty with leaves from the trees around it.I will update this review if things get better before my lease is up next year.July 2017: Update: Going into the 3rd month of living here and things just keep getting worse. My car has been broken into twice in the gated parking garage. I have to send in maintenance requests every few days, sometime they come fix it but I have to call them back because all the did was wiggle something. They dryer overheated so I told them the lent trap is broken and there is lent overheating the motor, they came and moved it away from the wall and said it was all better. A week later it broke completely, then they realized the motor burned out because of all the lent. I am left without the amenities I am paying for because it takes them a week to come fix it every time and it takes two visits to actually fix something. I have not had a single day in my apartment that everything worked like it is supposed to.I was really hoping to update this post and say that the management and maintenance took care of everything and it was just a bad first month, but I cant say that. They are understaffed and under-trained, which is not their fault. I am sure the staff does the best they can, but they dont have the help they need to keep the property functioning. I hate complaining to them because I know it must be hard to have everyone complain all the time and there is nothing they can do to fix it.
Ive lived here about 2 years, and its been pretty awesome. nice neighbors and a pretty safe gated community. the amenities are nice, particularly the pool, jacuzzi and grills. right on the lightrail and close to about everything. the 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom are great values! but unfortunately I now need a one bedroomif their one bedroom was cheaper Id live here for another year, however Im forced to find a more affordable location. too bad!
Management can barely run the place. Theyre awful when it comes to getting your maintenance request handled. I have a few tickets that have been outstanding months and they insure me its going to be resolved by the end of every week. Theyve been charging me the wrong rent as well and somehow its my fault and they want a lump sum payment... This place isnt worth the money, find a different complex.
I would not recommend living here. Aside from the ridiculous high utility bills every month this property is not safe. Over the course of my year long lease my roommates vehicles have been broken into and vandalized several times. If you are looking for a safe place to live to do not live here. What is even more concerning is that the properly managers have taken little action in addressing their lack of security.
I read most of these comments and it its clear WHITE PRIVILEGED is alive in a BROWN neighborhood still!! Maintenance and Landscaping people are amazing, the OFFICE is a different story, They do not communicate nor keep up on appointments that are due. I have 2 broken sinks, no filters are available every time i go try picking one up. Also my sink is backing up in my dish washer and now is molding all forthe last 2 months.
Please heed the reviews about the management here. Terrible communication they fully let us believe everything was good for move in only to tell us they no longer had the apt available the day we were supposed to get keys. Now we are left scrambling to find a new place.
I hate leaving bad reviews but this complex has earned it. These apartments are way overpriced. It’s expected that after a lease is almost up that apartments will raise rent, but this complex raises it extremely high. Not worth it. The management / office staff doesn’t resolve issues in a timely manner nor do they actually care about your issues. I’ve had bug problems twice and looks like i’ll have to be calling for a third time. I constantly have my packages going missing and the office staff doesn’t care to do anything now because they are lazy and instead of accepting a resident package, they tell the delivery person to leave at door and therefore I’ve had my package stolen 3 or 4 times now. Losing track of all the claims I constantly have to keep filing. They painted the outside of the apartment and now it looks like you live in a circus tent. Terrible color choices. This complex has so much potential if only it had a better property manager and office staff. The staff is unprofessional and incompetent. They will be nice to get you to sign a lease.. but oh how they all of a sudden change when you are a resident! It’s a shame they can’t hire the right people to run this place.UPDATE on their service. You think it couldn’t get worse but it did. When I gave my notice to move out I was not informed that they would take away the ability to pay your last month rent online and over the phone. Being someone that doesn’t write checks or even have checks, online was the convenient feature for me. So on the 1st when I go to pay, I can’t pay it. I call the office and they told me I can do over phone or bring a check in. They charge a $23 fee over the phone (another way for them to just collect stupid fees). Priscilla told me when I signed the notice that I’m moving it has that info. I asked for my copy and it doesn’t state anywhere that the only way to make your last month payment was by check and that they deactivate all the options convenient to you. I tried to call to pay over the phone but I couldn’t even do that because they deactivated that feature too. This staff clearly doesn’t know their own payment policy.
Ive lived at The Station for a few months and have a good overall impression. The parking garage is a great shelter for my vehicle. The trash drop chutes are fun and yes, Im easily amused. My apartment has not gotten hotter than 83 degrees at any time during these 108+ degree days. But what I am most impressed with is that I cannot hear yipping or barking dogs from my neighbors apartments. So far, so good.EDIT: Update June 2016 - When I go to work I set my thermostat at 87. It has never been higher than 84 when I come home at the end of the day even during 121 degree weather.
I have lived in the residence for about 8 years now and have never had any issues with staff and of course love the location. Lately though the management staff has been amazing with communication efforts and are doing more social outings to build a sense of community.
The staff is great and helped us with sorting everything out and getting it the paper work signed all at once. They answered all of our questions and took time to really talk to us about everything. They are great!
I grew up here with my parents. Theyve lived here for 14 years. Im 20 now and visit often. Its a great complex if you have the money.
WOW. I have lived in a ton of apartments and owned properties (condos) primarily in high end developments. The Station on Central IS NOT a luxury apartment complex. YES, the location is amazing, but the amenities of this complex are lacking for the price point. Central and Midtown Phoenix is JAM PACKED with brand new luxury rentals at a equivalent price point. This property lacks the upgraded kitchens (poorly painted white cabinets and cheap stainless appliances, laminate granite countertops, trailer home plastic window coverings). There is never anyone around the property to answer questions or to fix anything. Maintenance requests (submitted via website), ALWAYS go unanswered. I would SERIOUSLY consider the many other options in the neighborhood before looking at this property.
Ive lived at this apartment complex for about a year now and have had nothing but extraordinary service, not only from the amazing staff but also maintenance who has never made me wait for any repairs needed. They are not only very friendly and personable but also swift and professional! I love this complex and I plan on renewal for years to come!
Brace yourselves:Do NOT live here. We lived here for two years. We always paid rent on time, we kept to ourselves, we cleaned up after our dog, we were extremely respectful and patient with both the old management, and the new. We had nothing but problems. Our air conditioning bill was between $280 and $400 most of the year, even though we kept it at 80 degrees in the summer and turned it off in the winter. The first summer the air conditioning broke and was not fixed for 6 days. It was over 90 degrees in our apartment. We were told by the front office that it was out of their hands and we would just have to wait. We had to call three more times before it was fixed. After it was fixed the bill was still outrageous. We were consistently told there was nothing wrong with our air conditioning despite the ridiculous bill. Still, we decided to give the new management, MAXX Properties, a try and renew our lease. This was stupid of us. Do not be us. The management office lost our lease renewal three times. We did the first one online but they did not approve it before it expired. We signed the second and third in front of them, but these were lost as well. This issue was not completely resolved until three months after the new lease went into effect. During monsoon season the second year, water leaked into the electrical fixtures in our ceiling and short circuited our smoke detector at 1am. Making the fire alarm go off in our apartment. Despite numerous phone calls, no one came to fix it for 2 hours. The person that did come simply ripped our smoke detector out of the ceiling and left. Three months later, the roof leak still had not been fixed despite numerous maintenance requests. There was still water leaking into the electrical fixtures and all throughout the ceiling each time it rained. When my husband finally went to the office and said enough is enough, the management made no apology and said we would have to wait in line because 60 (yes 60) other apartments were having the same issue. When we asked for the Supervisors name and email, they gave us a first name and phone number. My husband asked for an email and was told we dont give that out. This is probably because tenants in Arizona can withhold rent for uninhabitable living situations after providing a written ten day notice. An email counts. A phone call doesnt. That night I called around to the MAXX properties in Arizona until I found the last name and email. We then sent a ten day notice. The next day someone came and said they were there to fix the roof. Crazy how that works. This person went up on the roof but we didnt hear any noise. Fast forward to November 26th, when a person actually came and fixed the roof. This was 2 months after the fake roof person came. We decided we would not renew our lease for a third year. Two and a half months before the lease was up we began calling asking for the form we need to sign to let them know we would not be renewing our lease. They continued to tell us it would come in the mail and not to worry. Finally we called with a month and a half before our lease was up and demanded that they send us the form immediately. We were then told that because we had not signed the form 2 months in advance of our lease ending we would be charged for 15 extra days. A month of arguing ensued with over 30 phone calls and 6 visits to the office later, they still swindled us out of about $500.
I have lived here at The Station for 3 years and I absolutely love it here! The amazing pool, exceptional management and very prompt service from maintenance when needed are my biggest reasons for staying. The price for my completely renovated 2 bedroom apt is also extremely competitive for the area!Anytime I go into the office I can count on the rental agent, Armando, who is always extremely pleasant and professional, to help with my needs. The manager, Kim, and assistant manager, Sydney, are also constantly present. They always come and say hello, engage conversation, tell us of the exciting renovations coming and remind us of the Starbucks machine in the lobby (they both know I have a coffee problem obviously).Around Christmas there were some issues with packages left at the door coming up missing. (Amazon doesnt charge, as everyone knows, when this happens). I notified Kim and almost overnight the gates were all re-keyed and tightened up for security! Literally problem fixed overnight! The grounds are kept up every single day. I have never seen anything unpleasant around the grounds. There are trash shoots on every floor leading to the compactor and on the first floor there are bins that never seem unpleasant. It truly does feel good to know that the money we pay to live in such an awesome area is valued. I cannot thank the management enough for the help that they have given us and the appreciation that they make sure we feel! Before Maxx took over, the property seemed to be falling apart. Literally the fire doors didnt operate properly and the entry gates were a joke. Between these issues, and many others, and the renovations that have been going on, I definitely have seen a difference since they brought the new management, Kim and Sydney, on.Thank you Kim, Sydney, Armando and Maxx for recognizing that where you work and invest your time is where so many people work and invest their own time in order to proudly call home!
Currently the fire alarm system is broken and the landlord cannot guarantee that it wont go off randomly. They estimate it wont be fixed until early-mid 2019. Until then avoid this place like the plague.Other than that theres been poor communication and changes to our lease that may or may not be legal but are definitely underhanded and not customer/tenant friendly.Ill leave it at that but particularly until the fire system is fixed Id avoid this property.
I have lived at this apartment for a year now and have loved it. The location is super convenient and close to everything happening downtown. The residents here are friendly and welcoming. The apartments are spacious and quiet, but yet I can still throw a party and not be called for noise complaint. When I first moved in there were some problems and the front desk was not helpful, but since Maxx Properties has taken over, things have improved 100%. Now when I put in a maintenance request, it gets filled within 24 hours and the front office calls to confirm that it was fixed and no additional work needs to be done. The front office also returns my calls now when I leave a voicemail unlike the old staff. The reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the treadmills being out of order for weeks and the hot tub continuously going in and out of working order as well as my experiences with the previous staff. Overall, this is a great place to live though!
The windows and doors are not sealed properly, causing rain to enter the apartment, and high electricity bills in the summer months. I’ve also observed an increase in cockroaches. People do not pick up after their dogs. Look closely at the apt before you sign the lease. And now the building’s fire alarm goes off at random times; management sent an email saying it could be 1st or 2nd quarter of 2019 before its repaired, citing cost and lengthy corporate approval process. There is nothing luxurious about this complex. There’s not even a business center.
The worst experience ever! They do not complete any work orders. Also they have the worst Office team ever! Most recently they had a temp fill in, who was very ghetto, I expressed my fear of my personal information being accessed by this person and the leasing agency did not care. Once you sign your lease they being the management office treat you like a second-class citizen.
LOVE THE PROPERTY SAFE MEMBERS ARE SO NICE PROPERTY IS KEPT VERY CLEAN TIP TOP SHAPE I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY !!! I LOVE IT !
What a joke they decide when they want to take packages sometimes they do sometimes they dont how unprofessional but Im paying them this kind of money they better accept my damn packages also Elis a dick time to break my lease and move elsewhere I suggest everyone else do the same and call the owners of the complex and report them get in the new age people its all about online shopping youre going to need to get a locker grow up
Greatly inconvenienced by the online payment system. Online glitches results in penalty for no reason. No advance notification for changes in payment system.-------------UPDATEAfter some adjustment blues, the stay at this property has been a great experience. Maintenance issues were always handled very effeciently by friendly and courteous staff - Leo, Nelson and Efram are ones I would like to thank very much. Management has been equally, if not more, friendly. Their get-togethers for special occasions were great and their staff were very friendly and helpful even after the move out. Priscilla, Cory and Darlene deserve a special mention as do others who were there earlier.Dont mind the busy street. You are just a step away from the Light-rail
Looking for apartments in PHX? Stay away from MAXX Properties The Station on Central. Kids had an apartment secured, deposit paid. Property made a mistake and refused to honor their commitment. Poor communication, lack of integrity and classic bait and switch tactics. Stay away...so many more reputable apartment companies out there.
Lived here for about 6 months, absolutely love it. The interior upgrades are chic and perfect for my taste, community is quiet and I never hear anything from surrounding neighbors. Grounds are well kept and staff super friendly. My only 2 complaints: I put in an emergency work order when my dishwasher suddenly began flooding the kitchen. Quoted at 20-30 mins for the handy man to get here. Ok no problemo. An hour and a half later, I call the handy man who tells me he stopped on his way over to eat dinner....that was totally unacceptable which I made loud and clear to him upon his arrival.Complaint #2 is the lack of security. I caught some vagabond breaking into cars in the gated parking lot about a month ago, called police and notified the front desk. All mgmt did was send out a reminder to not prop gates open. Many of these gates do not shut behind you like they could with a heavy spring being installed. And Id like to see some fines given out to tenants that risk all of our security by propping the gates open. Reminder emails are not working as I see at least one gate open every time I go out.
I dont agree with the last poster. I dont think theirs anythibg to do with White privileg here. I am always treated with respect by the maintenance crew and the rest of the staff I. The office. Im a non-gender conforming, gay black man... Im like the definition of minority lol. I really enjoy living here and probably will do so as long as I can 🤗
Extremely rude staff, would not rent from here! Stay away, so many better apartments in the area.
Not bad for the price but it’s impossible to ever get a hold of the office on the phone no matter when you call no one will answer.
I am glad that some people feel the pool and jacuzzi (open 24/7) is an amenity but for someone who lives over the pool and is woken up in the middle of the night time and time again all days of the week by drunk, disrespectful tenants it is a quite a negative to choosing to live in any apartment over the main pool.
Horrible customer service.
At first I really liked the community but management seemed to get sloppier & sloppier. PSA: only move here if you enjoy the company of spiders. They are all over the hallways and management makes no effort to exterminate
